Abstract

Aisyiyah sebagai Lembaga Lingkungan Hidup dan Penanggulangan Bencana (LLHPB) berkolaborasi dengan Lembaga Kebudayaan (LK) Pimpinan Wilayah’Aisyiyah Jawa Tengah menyelenggarakan kegiatan rapat kerja wilayah dengan tema “Membangun Pendidikan Karakter Anak dalam Situasi Darurat Bencana”. Kegiatan ini menghadirkan para praktisi maupun akademisi yang perhatian pada isu pembangunan Pendidikan karakter anak dalam situasi darurat bencana antara lain dari Kementerian Sosial (Kemensos) dan juga Pimpinan Pusat ‘Aisyiyah. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah menyamakan persepsi cara membangun budaya sadar bencana melalui Pendidikan Karakter Anak. Metode kegiatan yang ditawarkan adalah dalam bentuk ceramah dan diskusi berupa tanya jawab. Hasil dari kegiatan ini berupa: penerapan pedoman sekolah/madrasah aman dari bencana dan Teknik keterampilan dalam memberikan dukungan psikologis awal pada anak dalam situasi darurat bencana.

Abstract

Hijrah menjadi trend di kalangan mahasiswa saat ini. Permasalahan yang muncul terkait hijrah saat ini yaitu adanya perbedaan perspektif mengenai hijrah yang menjadi indikator kurang pemahaman makna hijrah secara utuh sehingga menimbulkan ketidaktepatan dalam proses hijrah yang bengaruh pada pencapaian tujuan hijrah yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses hijrah mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta berdasarkan makna, motivasi, dan pengaruh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian fenomenologi yang menekankan pada pengalaman dan esensi suatu fenomena. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu proses hijrah mahasiswa berdasarkan makna, motivasi, dan pengaruh. Pertama pemaknaan hijrah, makna hijrah bagi mahasiswa dirumuskan dengan 3C yaitu (changed, controlling, contribution). Kedua, motivasi hijrah mahasiswa berdasarkan prioritas kegiatan antara keagamaan dan akademik ada tiga tingkatan yaitu tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Ketiga, pengaruh hijrah mahasiwa mencakup hubungan dengan Allah, hubungan dengan diri pribadi dan hubungan dengan masyarakat yang meluputi perkembangan aktifitas, respon lingkungan, perasaan, tantangan, serta perubahan ketika hijrah.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to uncover Indonesians' perceptions of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic by determining the polarity of language texts (positive, neutral, or negative) compiled from Twitter. The data required to reveal the Indonesian people's opinion on online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is a tweet on Twitter with the hashtag #Pembelajaran daring (Online learning); #Pembelajaran jarak jauh (distance learning); #Belajar dari rumah (learning from home); #Belajar di rumah (learning in the home) (learning at home). The time frame for collecting these tweets is March 2020 to November 2021. The data was then analyzed using lexicon analysis and analytical tools that used Part of Speech Tagging. According to the results, 77.58% of the tweets are positive, 17.97% are negative, and the remainder are neutral. People prefer to refer to learning support, teachers, schools, education, students, and distance learning. Distance learning is the most positively received category among online learning. However, learning support is the most widely discussed topic among the general public. The overwhelming positive sentiment across all categories suggests that the majority of Indonesians have high hopes for online learning during the pandemic.

Abstract

Nationalism is the noble value of Pancasila which must be owned by students as the next generation of the nation to realize their independence and contribution to the country, so that the competitive character of students can be realized among themselves in the era of globalization. This study aims to reduce the content of the characters and their teaching methods in the class IV package book theme 5 of the 2018 Revised Edition of My Hero Curriculum 2013. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with content analysis, namely research that describes the Character of Nationalism and is then used to analyze the contents of teacher and class student books. 4 themes 5 My heroes. The results of the research and discussion that the researchers conducted showed that 1) The content of the character of nationalism in student books still contained some material that did not meet predetermined indicators, namely the "Let's Discuss" activity in the student book sub-theme 1 about Majapahit's territory, the "Let's Read" activity in student book subtheme 1 which discusses Mahapatih Gajah Mada, the "Let's Read" activity in the student book is discussing the text of the story entitled "Penataran Temple Complex". 2) The learning design for the teacher's Nationalism character content looks less varied and monotonous, making learning less meaningful.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to improve student’s activeness during learning process. Because researcher found that student’s activeness in the learning process could be much better if the method is suitable with the character of students. Subject of the research are 28 students. Type of the research is class action research. Procedure of the research consist of 4 steps. They are: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection method used in the research is observation, interview and documentation. The result of the precycle, student’s activeness is on (56,25%). On the precycle, only 4 students that very active and 5 students active. 19 other students are on the level of less active. The result on the cycle 1 after the researcher implementing group discussion, student’s activeness is on (66,07%). It shows there is increase from the precycle to cycle 1. On the cycle 1, 6 students are very active and 10 students active, while 12 other students are on the level of less active. The result of cycle 2, researcher implementing small group discussion already. It shows student activeness got higher score (79,46%). On the cycle 2, 10 students are very active and 13 students active, while 5 other students are on the level of less active. There is significant increase from precycle being compared to cycle 2. Based on the result, researcher conclude that the usage of small group discussion is effective to increase student’s activeness from 56,25% to 79,46%.

Abstract

Learning activities in class V require strategies that take into account the characteristics of students' development at that stage. In this context, puzzle media was chosen as the focus of research because it has the potential to integrate learning based on cooperation and interaction between students. The aim of this learning improvement research is to improve cooperation and learning outcomes for class V students at SD Muhammadiyah PK Kottabarat in Indonesian Language lessons. This type of research is classroom action research with subjects of 28 students in class VB. The minimum competency criteria score at this school is 80. Research activities include planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection uses observation and tests. The results of the research in cycle I were the percentage of learning completeness was 64% with an average learning outcome value of 75.7. In cycle II there was an increase, namely with a learning completeness percentage of 100% with an average learning outcome score of 87. From the results of the assessment recapitulation, 7 groups experienced an increase with details of 5 groups being very good at cooperation between students and 2 groups also being good at cooperation between students. So improving learning by using puzzle media has succeeded in improving learning outcomes and increasing collaboration between students to complete the tasks given. Learning Indonesian using puzzle media in the VB class at SD Muhammadiyah PK Kottabarat is very effective in improving student learning outcomes and also increasing collaboration between students. The choice of puzzle media used by researchers is also able to hone students to think critically.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the online learning of Islamic character informing religious character and honesty in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Primary data was obtained through interviews with grade 4 and 5 teachers. Secondary data was obtained from books and journals related to the research theme as well as interviews with school principals. Data analysis was carried out through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and then drawing conclusions. Data triangulation was carried out through interviews with principals, and students to maintain validity.The research results obtained include: 1) The implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning during online learning at SD Negeri 2 Tigajuru runs using WA group as the main media, while implementation outside Islamic Education learning occasionally uses Google Classroom or Zoom Meeting. 2) The strategy of cultivating religious character towards students of SD Negeri 2 Tigajuru specifically in the upper grades is emphasized through habituation and exemplary methods from teachers. These habits are: Starting learning activities with prayer, reading and memorizing juz amma, reading short letters of Al-Quran juz 30. The cultivation of religious character values in Islamic Religious Education learning when learning online is carried out by providing material about: Akidah; Exemplifying the attitude of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH; performing mandatory prayers and purification; About morals. 3) The obstacles faced by online learning such as the lack of teacher control as a patron in providing concrete examples of praiseworthy behavior other than limited to honesty and worship directly to students. Many upper grade students from grades 4 to 5 still cannot recite the Koran and do not even know the prayer recitation, the PAI teacher's capability in learning is limited to assignments without improving learning methods and strategies when online. 4) Character cultivation patterns at SD Negeri 2 Tigajuru teachers still apply a variety of strategies in conventional, lecture-based learning, Suggestions that can be conveyed to teachers related to their role as educators not only provide knowledge. But, also pay attention to the provision of character cultivation through character education, especially in the cultivation of religious character during online learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of school principals in instilling Islamic values in students of the superior program of Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Jatipuro. This research includes qualitative research using a case study design. This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Program Unggulan Jatipuro, Jatipuro District, Karanganyar Regency. Data collection in this study was carried out using interviews, documentation, and observation methods. The stages of data analysis in this study are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study are Islamic values taught at SD Muhammadiyah Jatipuro Excellent Programme, namely the value of faith, the value of worship, and the value of morals. The role of the principal at SD Muhammadiyah Program Unggulan Jatipuro as an educator is that the principal also teaches students and provides good examples and role models for students and other school members. As a manager, the principal participates in making Islamic activity programs and requires teachers to attend Islamic studies at school. As a leader, the principal gives tasks to teams, especially teachers, to achieve the goals that have been made and their targets. As a motivator, the principal encourages all members of the school, especially teachers, to be enthusiastic about providing knowledge to students. As an administrator, the principal participates in managing religious activities and is assisted by members to make reports on embedding Islamic values to students, then reported to the principal. As a supervisor, the principal oversees the performance of the implementation team and monitors student behaviors. As an innovator, the principal requires teachers and teams to participate in religious activities, so that they can increase their knowledge and can be taught to students.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) find out how elementary schools are realizing anti-drug education. 2) knowing the role of teachers in anti-drug education. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and observation. Validation of the data using other research triangulation, re-checking and verification of respondents. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that 1) The school's role in realizing anti-drug education in elementary schools was carried out by the principal. There are many things that can be done by a school principal to realize anti-drug education in his school. One way the principal makes policy. Policies made can be a guide in attitude for students, teachers, and all school members while in the school environment. 2) The role of teachers in anti-drug education in elementary schools is to provide knowledge. Teachers play an active role in providing all kinds of knowledge about drugs to students. This knowledge is given with the aim that elementary school students are aware of the dangers of drugs and form confidence in themselves not to try to recognize or even consume drugs.

Abstract

Keterampilan berbicara merupakan suatu keterampilan dasar berbahasa yang penting untuk dikuasai dan berguna dalam mendukung perkembangan siswa. Dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara, guru dapat menggunakan bantuan berbagai media contohnya adalah media flashcard. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas IC SD Muhammadiyah PK Kottabarat melalui media Flashcard. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap tahapan siklus memuat kegiatan perencanaan, tindakan dan pengamatan, serta refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IC yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes/unjuk kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada hasil tes keterampilan berbicara dimana siklus I rerata tes keterampilan bebricara di kelas 69,67% dengan ketuntasan klasikal yaitu 64%. Kemudian pada siklus II rerata hasil tes keterampilan berbicara adalah 75,42% dengan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 86%. Demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media flashcard dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas I SD Muhammadiyah PK Kottabarat Kata Kunci: Media Flash Card, Keterampilan Berbicara, Sekolah Dasar
