Abstract

Skabies merupakan infeksi kulit yang disebabkan oleh tungau Sarcoptes scabiei varietas hominis. Prevalensi skabies biasanya meningkat 3,6 kali lebih tinggi pada tempat dengan jumlah penghuni padat seperti asrama, panti asuhan, pondok pesantren, dan penjara. Belum pernah ada penyuluhan dan penelitian mengenai skabies di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Ikhlas NW Desa Sajang, Kecamatan Sembalun. Berdasarkan informasi dari Kepala Sekolah dan Pemilik Pondok angka kejadian skabies cukup tinggi dan hampir menjangkit seluruh santri. Program kerja Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) dilakukan dalam bentuk penyuluhan edukasi kesehatan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan memberikan edukasi kepada santri dan santriwati mengenai pencegahan penularan dan pengobatan skabies. Kegiatan penyuluhan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 19 Januari 2023. Penyuluhan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi yang diikuti oleh 61 peserta dengan rangkaian kegiatan meliputi pre-test, pemutaran video edukasi, gambaran kasus skabies, dan penyampaian materi mengenai skabies. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan pre-test dengan instrumen penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan peserta penyuluhan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh tingkat pengetahuan santri termasuk kategori cukup baik sebanyak 21 orang (34,43%), kurang baik sebanyak 30 orang (49,18%), dan baik sebanyak 10 orang (16,39%). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan mayoritas santri termasuk dalam katagori kurang baik 49,18%. Kata kunci: Skabies, Sajang, Pencegahan, Pengobatan, Pondok Pesantren

Abstract

Sembalun Timba Gading is a village located at the foot of Mount Rinjani. This village has an agroclimate that is suitable for cultivating horticultural crops and is a center for vegetable and fruit production in East Lombok. Abundant production during the harvest season causes prices to drop drastically, while these products spoil quickly so they cannot be stored for long. This results in losses for farmers. Therefore, processing of agricultural products is needed, especially horticulture, which can increase the shelf life and selling value of the product. On the other hand, the lack of knowledge and skills of farmers causes horticultural products to be sold as fresh products. Farmers' knowledge and skills about processing horticultural products need to be improved through socialization and training. The initial step in increasing knowledge is needed through socialization activities. The Mataram University community service team carried out community service in the form of socialization of increasing the added value of oversupply horticultural products in Sembalun Timba Gading Village. The target partners are the Ndak Kuta Farmer Group and the Kali Empit Farmer Group which are engaged in the cultivation of horticultural and plantation crops. The method used in this socialization activity is counseling with material presentation by resource persons and continued with a discussion session. The socialization activity went smoothly. Participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the activity because they considered the material provided to be very useful for improving the quality of agricultural products and increasing the selling value of products. The understanding of target partners about horticultural product processing increased as evidenced by the active participants asking questions and the results of group discussion assignments which resulted in four types of product processing that were decided to be pursued, namely making mashed potato chips, making chili flour, making chili sauce, and making shallot oleoresin.

Abstract

Produktivitas yang rendah pada beras merah dan beras hitam dipengaruhi oleh tingginya jumlah gabah hampa akibat faktor genetik. Kekurangan lain yang dimiliki oleh padi beras hitam yaitu umur tanaman yang tergolong panjang serta hasil yang tergolong rendah jika dibandingkan dengan beras putih. Solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut yaitu perakitan varietas berdaya hasil tinggi melalui induksi mutasi. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui hasil beberapa mutan padi beras merah Inpago Unram I dan G10 generasi keempatM4) yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kontrol Inpago Unram I dan Inpari-32. Pelaksanaan percobaan dimulai dari bulan Maret sampai November 2024 yang bertempat di Desa Saribaye, kecamatan Lingsar, kabupaten Lombok Barat, NTB. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental. Percobaan ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) terdiri dari 22 perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan: 20 genotipe mutan (10 genotipe mutan Inpago unram I dan 10 mutan galur G10). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analasis keragaman (ANOVA) dan hasil yang berbeda nyata di uji lanjut menggunakan Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf nyata 5%. Genotipe G1 adalah genotipe yang memiliki hasil lebih tinggi yaitu 6,85 ton/ha dari perlakuan lainnya kecuali G6 dan G18. Hasil yang lebih tinggi pada genotipe G1 (6,85 ton/ha) didukung oleh komponen hasil bobot 100 butir (2,74g), jumlah gabah berisi per malai (123,97 butir), dan bobot gabah berisi per rumpun (42,78 g).

Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of rice varieties are carried out by genetic mutations to bring about changes in plants can produce varied plant characteristics. This study aims to find out whether there is a significant difference in the appearance of the supporting characters of results and yields and to determine the superior mutant genotype (M4) of Inpago Unram I, Baas Selem, and Inpari 32 rice. This research was carried out from March to August 2023 in Saribaye Village, Lingsar District, West Lombok Regency, NTB. The design used is the Group Random Design (RAK) which consists of 21 treatments, namely 10 rice mutants Inpago Unram I, 10 rice mutants Baas Selem, and Inpari-32. The observation data was analyzed using diversity analysis at a real level of 5%. The significantly different variables were further tested using orthogonal contrast analysis. The results of the diversity analysis showed that there were real different characteristics, namely plant height and the number of empty grains per panicle. Inpago Unram had a high yield with a grain weight of 40.55 grams per clump, Baas Selem had a grain weight of 34.77 grams per clump, Inpari-32 had the lowest yield of 32.64 grams.

Abstract

Dalam rangka mempertahankan Nusa Tenggara Barat sebagai salah satu lumbung beras nasional dan ikut serta dalam mempertahankan swasembada beras secara nasional maka perlu kira memperkenalkan teknologi budidaya dan varietas unggul padi beras merah dan beras hitam serta memperdayakan kelompok-kelompok tani yang ada dipedesaan sebagai pelaksana teknologi budididaya yang benar dan terpadu.Permasalahan yang dijumpai pada kelompok tani Kelapa Gading di desa Kebun Ayu kecamatan Gerung kabupaten Lombok Barat adalah belum mengenal tentang padi beras Merah dan beras hitam baik tentang manfaat maupun teknologi budidaya. Dari hasil kegiatan ini target khusus yang akan dihasilkan peningkatan pengetahuan, pemahaman tentang padi beras merah dan hitam; pemanfaatnya sebagai padi fungsional, serta keterampilan dalam penerapan teknologi budidaya melalui sistim tanam jajar Legowo 4:1 dengan menggunakan umur bibit muda 18 hari. sehingga di hasilkan petingkatan produksi padi beras merah sebesar 10-15 %.. Metode yang digunakan pada program ini adalah metode pelatihanan yang dilanjutkan dengan kerja praktik di lapang dan kaji tindak partisifatif aktif (partisipatori action research) di lapang secara aktif sejak persiapan hingga evaluasi melibatkan mahasiswa KKN. Kegiatan ini di laksanakan mulai Januari – April 2024. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi diberikan diklat selama 1 hari dan praktik laboratorium lapang (Demplot) tentang tanam jajar legowo 4:1, penggunaan umur bibit optimum pada luasan lahan 15 are. Pemberian materi dilakukan oleh tim penyuluh serta mitra dari Saprotan utama tekait dengan penggungunaan pupuk dan pestisida. Evaluasi untuk mengukur keberhasilan kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui respon peserta pada saat penyampai teori/diklat, respon peserta pada saat pelaksanaan praktek lapang. Pengamatan pada petak laboratorium lapang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan, bahwa Anggota kelompok tani Kelapa Gading desa Kebun Ayu Gerung Lombok Barat melalui kegiatan penyuluhan telah paham tentang deskripsi padi beras hitam dan merah, paham akan kandungan dan manfaatnya beras hitam maupun merah bagi kesehatan, serta paham akan teknologi budidaya baik pada padi beras hitam maupun merah dengan pola Jajar Legowo 4:1.Melalui kegiatan demplot dan pendampingan para petani mampu mempraktikan budidaya padi beras hitam dan merah mulai perendaman benih, pembibitan, penanaman hingga panen.

Abstract

In order to maintain West Nusa Tenggara as one of the national food barns and participate in maintaining rice self-sufficiency and knowing healthy food, it is necessary to introduce new innovations in the correct Integrated Crop Management technology through training and demonstration plots of red rice pigmented rice. The problem encountered in the Ngiring Datu I farmer group in Pringgejurang Utara Village, Montong Gading District, East Lombok is that they have not yet implemented the Integrated Crop Management and healthy red rice food comprehensively. The purpose of this activity is to increase the understanding, attitudes and skills of partner group members related to the implementation of Integrated Crop Management, especially in the use of new superior varieties of red rice pigmented rice Inapago Unram 1, the use of quality seeds and plant population management through 4:1 legowo planting, and it is hoped that there will be an increase in knowledge about the benefits of red rice for health. The method used in this program is a training method followed by practical work in the field and participatory action research in the field from preparation to evaluation by involving students of the Community Service Program (KKN). The activity stages include 1 day of training and field laboratory practice (Demplot) of planting rice with red rice pigment of superior variety Inpago Unram I using quality seeds through a 4:1 legowo row planting system, 18 days old seedlings on an irrigated rice field area of ​​10 are for 3.5 months starting from January - April 2025. Evaluation to measure the success of this activity is carried out through participant responses during the delivery of theory/training, participant responses during the implementation of field practice, mentoring and observations in the field laboratory plot. The results of the activity show that the extension participants consisting of village heads, heads of farmer groups or their representatives, youth leaders of Pringgejurang Utara village, Montong Gading sub-district, East Lombok Regency, have understood the description of the superior variety of red rice pigmented rice Inpago Unram 1, its content and benefits for health, and understand the Cultivation Technology of red rice pigmented rice Inpago Unram 1 through Integrated Crop Management, especially using 18-day seedling age and with the Jajar Legowo 4:1 planting pattern. Through the Integrated Crop Management Demonstration activity of red rice pigmented rice Inpago Unram 1 in the "Ngiring Datu I" Farmer Group, skills in cultivating superior rice varieties Inpago Unram1 have been improved using 18-day seedling age, as well as the Jajar Legewo 4:1 planting pattern with a harvest of 5.5 tons/ha of dry milled grain.

Abstract

Desa Sajang di Kecamatan Sembalun, Lombok Timur dikenal sebagai sentra penghasil kopi, namun tanaman kopi petani sering menghadapi serangan hama yang serius. Penggunaan pestisida sintetis dapat menyebabkan dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan dan lingkungan, termasuk kontaminasi tanah dan air. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan di atas adalah penggunaan pestisida nabati (pesnab) yang terbuat dari bahan-bahan yang ada di lingkungan masyarakat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penegtahuan dan keterampilan petani kopi melalui edukasi pembuatan pestisida nabati yang ramah lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu sosialisasi dengan penyuluhan dan demontrasi dengan melibatkan anggota Koperasi Bumi Tani Lestari Indonesia. Narasumber kegiatan adalah fasilitator pertanian organik. Peserta kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi terhadap materi yang diberikan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari keseriusan peserta mendengarkan materi yang diberikan dan pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh peserta selama kegiatan diskusi. Berdasarkan hasil pre test dan post test, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan petani tentang pestisida nabati sebesar 40% setelah mengikuti sesi penyuluhan dan praktik pembuatan pestisida nabati. Selain itu, petani menunjukkan minat yang tinggi untuk menerapkan teknik ini dalam praktik pertanian mereka, terlihat dari keterlibatan peserta dalam pembuatan pestisida nabati bersama narasumber. Peningkatan keterampilan dapat dilihat dari keterlibatan peserta dalam pembuatan pestisida nabati yang didemonstrasikan oleh narasumber. Peserta juga mulai memahami pentingnya beralih ke bahan alami yang lebih aman dan berkelanjutan dalam pengendalian hama. Melalui kegiatan ini, para petani diharapkan dapat mengurangi ketergantungan pada pestisida kimia dan menerapkan praktik pertanian yang lebih sehat dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the comparison of the characteristics of the mutant (M3) of Inpago Unram 1 rice with the mutant (M3) of Baas Selem rice and the comparison of the characteristics of the mutant line (M3) with its parents.  The research was carried out from March to November 2022 in Saribaye Village, Lingsar District, West Lombok.  The method used is an experimental method in the field.  The experiment was carried out using a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 8 genotypes and repeated 3 times.  Blocks were planted as many as 20 plants and then 4 sample plants were taken.  The data were analyzed using a significance level of 5%, then further tested using an orthogonal contrast test of 5% significance level.  The results of the research showed significant differences in the characteristics of the number of productive tillers, total number of tillers, panicle length, number of filled grains per panicle, weight of 100 grains and weight of filled grains per hill, then further tests showed 6 significantly different characters in the comparison of G1, G2, G3,  G4 >< G5, G6, G7, G8 (Inpago Unram 1 lines compared to Baas Selem lines).  In the comparison of G1 >< G2, G3, G4 (Inpago Unram 1 parent compared with its lines) showed significantly different results regarding the panicle length character.  The comparison of G5 >< G6, G7, G8 (Baas Selem parents compared with their lines) showed significantly different results regarding the character of the number of productive offspring and the total number of offspring.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the appearance of quantitative characters and kinship relationships of the genotype of red rice and black rice grown in gogo. The research was conducted in February – May 2024 on a medium plain land with an altitude of 370 meters above sea level, in Tampak Siring Village, Central Lombok, NTB. The materials used were 21 rice genotypes consisting of 11 red rice strains, 4 black rice strains, 2 red rice elders, 2 black rice elders and 2 comparison varieties (Inpago Unram I and IR64). The analysis used is the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) of the Group Random Design (GRD) model with a real level of 5%, if there are real different characters, then the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) will be continued at a real level of 5%. Cluster analysis was carried out based on the average value of quantitative characters using the euclidean distance method using the R-Studio program. The results of the study showed that between strains all characters had different appearances except for the number of non-productive saplings. G-2 strain; G-6; and G-18 had the same results as Inpago Unram I. Kinship analysis conducted based on the average value of quantitative characters obtained four clusters, namely cluster I G-21, G-9, G-20, G-11, G-17; cluster II G-19, G-2, G-18, G-6, G-7; cluster III G-1, G-5, G-8, G10, G-3, G-4, G-16; and cluster IV G-12, G-15, G-13, G-14.

Abstract

This study aims to determine changes in yield and correlation between quantitative traits of mutant plants of the M3 generation of G16 brown rice irradiated with 200 Gy gamma rays. The research method used was an experimental method which was carried out with field experiments and took place in paddy fields in Tatar Hamlet, Nyurlembang Village, Narmada District, West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara which was carried out from May to November 2022. The research was arranged using a Randomized Block Design (RAK) in a partitioned design. The treatment consisted of 33 genotypes resulting from gamma irradiation mutations and 3 comparators as test genotypes namely G16, Cigelis and Inpari 32. Each tester genotype was repeated 3 times, so that 42 experimental units were obtained. Observations were analyzed using analysis of variance and a 5% level of phenotypic correlation coefficient. Quantitative traits that show significant results were tested further using the Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level of significance. The results showed that 200 Gy of gamma irradiation did not change the yield of the M3 mutant strain. On the other hand, the criterion of the phenotypic correlation coefficient of the observed quantitative traits showed a significant difference with the results. Plant height and filled grain weight gave a very strong real correlation, while strong criteria were indicated by the longest panicle and number of filled grains, and panicle length and empty grain weight obtained a sufficiently significant correlation, and very weak criteria were obtained on flowering age, total tiller number, number of productive tillers, number of empty grain and 100 grain weight
