Abstract

The industrial revolution 4.0 which is occurring rapidly has resulted in changes in various fields, IoT is a technology that is currently widely used to automate processes in everyday life. In this research, IoT was used to monitor the development of goat livestock in Dermaji village. The problem with IoT development is that when you want to display data or results obtained, IoT does not work well if the information displayed is less interactive and difficult for end users to understand, so a solution needs to be created to display the results obtained by developing website and mobile-based applications. The aim of this research is to integrate an IoT platform with Android mobile-based websites and applications by implementing a RESTful web service API. Web and mobile application development uses the RAD method which consists of several stages, namely the design stage of system requirements, system design and implementation into a programming language. In integrating IoT with websites and mobile, RESTful web service technology is applied. The result of this research is an IoT platform that is integrated with website and Android mobile based applications.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi di era digitalisasi telah memberikan dampak signifikan pada berbagai sektor, termasuk pendidikan tinggi. Inovasi teknologi gencar dilakukan untuk mendukung kegiatan perkuliahan, salah satunya adalah sistem presensi mahasiswa. Beberapa diantaranya yang sudah diterapkan adalah teknologi RFID pada Kartu Tanda Mahasiswa dan scan kode QR. Namun keduanya masih memiliki celah kekurangan seperti risiko terjadinya kehilangan KTM, penyalahgunaan kode QR atau bahkan fenomena titip absen. Penggunaan sistem biometri seperti face recognition menjadi alternatif inovasi untuk meningkatkan keabsahan presensi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan teknologi face recognition secara real time pada sistem presensi mahasiswa berbasis web dengan mengombinasikan metode Single Shot Multibox Detector (SSD) dan Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH). Metode SSD digunakan sebagai pendeteksi wajah (face detector) dan LBPH sebagai pengenal wajahnya (face recognizer). Penelitian ini melibatkan pengujian akurasi dalam mendeteksi dan mengenali wajah mahasiswa berdasarkan parameter jarak, jumlah wajah dalam satu frame dan posisi wajah. Pada pengujian deteksi wajah untuk parameter jarak radius 30 cm hingga 100 cm dan posisi wajah diperoleh akurasi 100%. Pengujian pengenalan wajah berdasarkan posisi wajah memperoleh akurasi mencapai 85% dan presisi 87%, pengenalan wajah berdasarkan jarak memperoleh akurasi sebesar 85% dan presisi sebesar 86%. ABSTRACT  The development of technology in the era of digitalization has had a significant impact on various sectors, including higher education. Technological innovations have been actively pursued to support academic activities, one of which is the student attendance system. Some of the technologies that have been implemented include RFID technology on Student Identification Cards and QR code scanning. However, both methods still have shortcomings, such as the risk of losing the Student Identification Card, QR code misuse, or even the phenomenon of proxy attendance. The use of biometric systems, such as face recognition, has become an alternative innovation to enhance the validity of student attendance. This research implements real-time face recognition technology in a web-based student attendance system by combining the Single Shot Multibox Detector (SSD) and Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH) methods. The SSD method is used as the face detector, and LBPH is used as the face recognizer. This research involves testing accuracy in detecting and recognizing student faces based on distance parameters, number of faces in one frame and face position. In face detection testing for radius distance parameters of 30 cm to 100 cm and face position, 100% accuracy was obtained. Testing facial recognition based on facial position obtained accuracy of 85% and precision of 87%, facial recognition based on distance obtained accuracy of 85% and precision of 86%.

Abstract

Futsal is a sport that is also popular with soccer players or fans. This sport aims to score as many goals as possible into the opponent's goal, just like soccer. The futsal field which is smaller than soccer allows it to be played indoors or outdoors, in this case several enterprise provide futsal field rental services, one of which is Ramadhan Futsal located in Cilacap Regency, Central Java. The Ramadhan Futsal field reservation process still uses conventional methods by coming directly to the field or through whatsapp media, the payment process is also by coming directly to the location. The reservation process requires extra time and costs in traveling to the location. Based on these problems, this research proposes a solution in the form of a futsal field reservation web design. The development method used is Rapid Application Development with iteration in design step. The implementation process with PHP language assisted with Laravel framework and SQL database. Testing is conducted using the black-box testing method to Ramadhan Futsal worker and Visitor, from 20 stages of testing, all of the tests were declared as success.

Abstract

Usability is one of the important factors in an application. Village  Innovation Application is a  Knowledge Management System  (KMS)  that provides services to help village managers share innovation management knowledge with other villages.   To that end, the study proposes evaluating the level of useability of applications using the System Usability Scale to see the feasibility of the applications provided for use. The usability scale system has ten statements as an evaluation instrument and three assessment indicators, namely acceptability, grade scale, and adjective rating. Each statement becomes an indicator to see the level of usefulness of the application.  Evaluation of usability Application Innovation village using the System Usability Scale method can be drawn to the conclusion that the village Innovation application is categorized as meeting usability standards evidenced by the value of usability to aspects of acceptability, grade scale, and adjective rating with a final value of 68.3 meaning that the application can already be used directly by village devices

Abstract

Pada tanggal 7 Juni 2022 secara global terdapat 232 negara dengan total kasus infeksi Covid 19 mencapai 529.410.287 kasus serta 6.296.771 kasus kematian. Diagnosis secara cepat dan tepat diperlukan untuk menangani permasalahan tersebut, sehingga dapat menekan penyebaran virus yang semakin meluas dan tidak terkendali. Saat ini, diagnosis berbasis komputer dapat digunakan oleh tenaga medis dalam mendiagnosis pneumonia pada Covid 19. Diagnosis berbasis komputer dapat menggunakan teknologi klasifikasi dalam deep learning dengan memanfaatkan data citra x-ray. Salah satu metode dalam deep learning yang dapat menangani persoalan klasifikasi dan segmentasi melalui data citra yaitu Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Penelitian ini melakukan pengujian perbandingan performa HE, AHE, dan CLAHE terhadap akurasi CNN yang diperoleh. Hasilnya akan digunakan sebagai model untuk mendiagnosis citra x-ray apakah citra termasuk kategori Covid 19 atau normal menggunakan metode transfer learning. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan performa model terbaik diperoleh model CLAHE 50 epochs dengan accuracy, precision, recall, f1-score, dan AUC 96.4 %. Sedangkan pengujian kemampuan model dalam mendiagnosis 40 citra baru diperoleh akurasi 100% untuk kelas Covid 19 dan 70% pada kelas normal dengan akurasi rata-rata 85%.

Abstract

Fruits play a crucial role in human health, with an average consumption of 81.14 grams per capita per day in Indonesia, where bananas and oranges are the most consumed fruits. Inconsistent fruit quality, typically evaluated manually by farmers, can influence consumer decisions. Artificial intelligence (AI) and computer vision can enhance efficiency and consistency in analyzing fruit quality. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) are particularly effective in image recognition. This research uses CNN to classify the quality of bananas and oranges from a dataset of 4000 images, divided into 10% test data, 80% training data, and 10% validation data. Among three models tested, Model 2 performed best with an accuracy of 96.75% and balanced high F1-scores across all categories. The results demonstrate that the CNN model is capable of classifying the quality of bananas and oranges with high accuracy and good evaluation results.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are businesses operated by individuals, households, or small organizations, commonly characterized by limited annual turnover, assets, and number of employees. A significant issue among MSMEs is the lack of separation between business and personal finances, leading to ineffective financial management and the absence of professional systems. This challenge often results in difficulties in tracking inventory and transaction data accurately. In response to this issue, this community engagement project aims to implement a Point of Sale (POS) application as a practical solution for improving financial and operational efficiency within MSMEs. The initial implementation was conducted with a partner MSMEs in Purbalingga, Alima Makmur, which operates in retail paint. To further evaluate the benefits and adaptability of the POS system, the implementation was extended to members of the Ecoprint MSMEs Forum in Purbalingga. The results show that 4 out of 5 MSMEs successfully adopted and independently operated the POS application. This study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on digital adoption in micro-enterprises and provides practical implications for enhancing business sustainability through simple technological interventions.

Abstract

This research offers an initial exploration into the effectiveness of three variations of the YOLOv8 model original, trimmed, and YOLOv8n.pt in combination with two distinct datasets characterized by tight and loose distributions of roe, aimed at enhancing small object detection and counting accuracy. Utilizing a primary roe dataset across 776 images, the research systematically compares these model-dataset configurations to identify the most effective combination for precise object detection. The experimental results reveal that the YOLOv8n.pt model combined with the loosely distributed dataset achieves the highest detection performance, with a mean Average Precision (mAP) of 53.86%. This outcome underscores the critical impact of both model selection and data distribution on the detection accuracy in machine learning applications. The findings highlight the importance of tailored model and dataset synergies in optimizing detection tasks, particularly in complex scenarios involving small, densely clustered objects. This research contributes valuable insights into the strategic deployment of neural network architectures for refined object detection challenges.

Abstract

Satelit TV is a local television station in Banyumas district. Initially, the products provided were not only television broadcasts, but also printed newspapers that presented local news. Over time, the production of the printed newspaper was stopped due to the diminishing interest from the public. However, Satelit TV does not yet have its own news portal site like most mass media. This certainly affects the competitiveness of local media. Because of the problems above, this study aims to design a Satelit TV news portal website. The method used to design this news portal website is Rapid Application Development (RAD). The focus of the RAD method is how to create or develop software in a relatively short time if the team's needs are well known. The results obtained are in the form of a web-based news portal that has passed the Black-box Testing method.

Abstract

Pendaftaran penduduk dan pencatatan sipil di Kelurahan Pasarbatang memerlukan penataan yang baik untuk meningkatkan pelayanan. Saat ini, pelayanan masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga diperlukan teknologi sistem informasi digital. Pengembangan sistem informasi pelayanan administrasi melalui website diharapkan dapat mempercepat dan memudahkan proses pelayanan dan pengarsipan. Metode Research and Development digunakan dalam penelitian ini, meliputi tahapan: identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, desain dan validasi produk, revisi, uji coba, dan produksi akhir. Website ini dirancang menggunakan PHP dan MySQL, dan menyediakan layanan seperti pembuatan surat EKTP, Surat Keterangan Tidak Mampu, Surat Keterangan Usaha, dan Surat Izin Keramaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa website ini meningkatkan kecepatan, ketepatan, dan keakuratan pelayanan administrasi. Pengujian blackbox testing menunjukkan kelayakan 100%, menandakan website ini sangat efektif dan efisien dalam menggantikan metode manual serta meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan administrasi.
