Abstract

Desa Bejijong yang terletak di kecamatan Trowulan kabupaten Mojokerto terkenal dengan penduduknya sebagai pengrajin batik dan patung sehingga memiliki potensi yang cukup bagus dalam menciptakan peluang usaha untuk menggerakkan perekonomian desa. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat diharap dapat membangun kesadaran masyarakat agar kreatif dalam memasarkan produknya melalui media sosial sehingga mampu membantu dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat desa Bejijong. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan dengan cara sosialisasi, ceramah dan pengajaran. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital UMKM desa Bejijong memungkinkan dapat membuat foto dan video sehingga lebih mudah memperkenalkan dan meningkatkan usaha mereka.

Abstract

The development of information technology, closely related to globalization, is evident in the significant enthusiasm of the public towards K-Pop and the fading of culture, as exemplified in the content showcased in the web series "Hijab Alila" on YouTube. This research aims to discuss the aspect of signs using Ferdinand de Saussure's theory. In each scene, an analysis of the web series "Between Two Sides: BTS The Series" will be conducted based on the system of signs in Structural Semiotics. Based on the analysis, it is simultaneously developed with the interpretation of the aspects and scenes analyzed as a whole. The researcher adopts a constructivist paradigm with a qualitative approach, providing an insight into the constructed reality of Islamic lifestyle.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the board's knowledge about the budget in implementing regional financial supervision (APBD).This research was conducted with qualitative methods by presenting elements of questions regarding the board's knowledge of budget and regional financial supervision. Methods of gathering information using interviews and documentation to members of the Sidoarjo Regency council.The results of this study indicate that board members understand the process of determining the budget carried out by the executive, so that they can supervise and control the implementation of the APBD in Sidoarjo Regency. And expect follow-up from the executive on recommendations that have been given by the legislature where so far there has been no follow-up done

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the branding of Lanang Coffee through Instagram @warkop_jarangoyang. Lanang Coffee has become an important part of rural culture and economy in Kemiren Village, Glagah District, Banyuwangi Regency, Indonesia. Village. This research explores the relationship between brand awareness, brand engagement, and brand loyalty in the context of the technology industry. Using a quantitative approach through observation and in-depth interviews with coffee managers and local consumers. The research found that high brand awareness significantly increases brand engagement, which in turn strengthens brand loyalty. The result of this research is the importance of understanding and supporting local practices such as branding @warkop_jarangoyang using Instagram social media as an integral part of sustainable development in Kemiren Village, Glagah District, Banyuwangi Regency. The practice of branding is also an important economic strategy for farmers to obtain a stable income and improve their welfare. By using digital branding theory and from the results of this study is the importance of understanding and supporting local practices such as branding @warkop_jarangoyang using Instagram social media as an integral part of sustainable development in Kemiren Village, Glagah District, Banyuwangi Regency.

Abstract

The Javanese traditional wedding tradition is one of the unique cultural heritage values that are present and developing in Indonesia. This research aims to discover the meaning and symbol of Dodol Dawet carried out during the Javanese traditional wedding procession in Balongmacekan Village, Tarik District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. The method in this study uses a phenomenological perspective with a qualitative approach. The subject of this research is the meaning and symbol of Dodol Dawet, while the object of this research is Javanese traditional marriage in Balongmacekan Village, Tarik District, Sidoarjo Regency. The informants in this study were five people, including makeup artists, cultural experts, guests, and Dodol Dawet tradition actors. Interviews with informants were carried out for data collection. The results of this study are Dodol Dawet the parents' readiness to release their children to go to the level of marriage with their partners and hoping to cooperate in family life. The relevance felt after the implementation is the strengthening of social bonds, increased cultural awareness, spiritual balance, and learning of life values such as loyalty, cooperation, and responsibility in family and marriage relationships

Abstract

This study describes the form of changing the meaning of the Cemandi Reog Dance as a form of entertainment for the Cemandi Village Community. Transformation is a change from the old form to the new form. The factors of change in the Art of Reog Cemandi Dance in this writing use a descriptive qualitative method to obtain a general and comprehensive overview of the social situation being studied or the object of research. The Cemandi Reog Dance is a traditional performing art that is believed by the people in Cemandi village as a rejection of reinforcements during the colonial period which created elements of rituals, dance movements, and music. The methods used in collecting data for this study include observations, interviews, and descriptions of the collected documentation. The qualitative data analysis approach by producing data in the form of narrated words to describe the phenomena that are happening in the field, before and after the transformation. The changes in the art of Reog Cemandi Dance are influenced by the factors of globalization. In this change, the results of research that lead to changes in the Reog Cemandi Dance not only occur as a form of ritual, but also experience changes caused by changing times, changing community conditions, people's mindsets, and also the environment. This art is still presented as a means of entertainment without eliminating the identity of the indigenous people of the culture itself and also without leaving the existing rituals.

Abstract

Studi ini meneliti integrasi aplikasi I-CHAT sebagai alat komunikasi digital untuk anak-anak dengan gangguan pendengaran. Menggunakan metodologi kualitatif, termasuk observasi dan wawancara, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi komunikasi orang tua dengan anak-anak tuli mereka di era digital. Peserta adalah orang tua dari anak-anak tuli yang aktif menggunakan aplikasi I-CHAT untuk memfasilitasi komunikasi. Temuan mengungkapkan peningkatan keterlibatan antara orang tua dan anak-anak tuli mereka melalui aplikasi, menyoroti potensinya sebagai bantuan komunikasi yang efektif. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya literasi media digital dan solusi komunikasi inovatif dalam mendukung komunitas kebutuhan khusus, menyarankan implikasi signifikan untuk meningkatkan komunikasi dan interaksi sehari-hari dalam demografi ini.

Abstract

Studi ini mengeksplorasi efektivitas strategi promosi yang digunakan oleh agen perjalanan untuk merevitalisasi bisnis mereka menyusul pandemi Covid-19. Dalam konteks normal baru, yang memungkinkan aktivitas luar ruang tanpa pembatasan, perusahaan pariwisata menghadapi tantangan untuk mendapatkan kembali basis pelanggan dan momentum operasional mereka. Menggunakan metodologi kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini melibatkan sampel bertujuan dari informan kunci, termasuk pemilik dan seorang rekan kerja dari agen perjalanan, dan menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi, serta dokumentasi untuk pengumpulan data. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa strategi promosi yang kuat, mencakup periklanan yang ditingkatkan, penjualan pribadi yang diperkuat, hubungan masyarakat yang diperluas, dan evaluasi produk yang teliti, memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap kebangkitan dan pertumbuhan bisnis pariwisata. Didukung oleh komunikasi pemasaran langsung, strategi ini sangat penting untuk membangun kembali hubungan pelanggan dan mencapai keuntungan yang substansial dalam industri pariwisata pasca-pandemi. Implikasi dari studi ini menekankan perlunya promosi strategis untuk mempercepat pemulihan operasi pariwisata di era normal baru.

Abstract

In the digital era, social media platforms like TikTok are increasingly used for political campaigns. This study examines the PAN party's use of the viral TikTok song "PAN 12" to engage students, using Davidoff’s public perception theory. Employing a qualitative descriptive method with six student informants from Sidoarjo, the research reveals mixed perceptions: some find the content engaging, while others criticize it for lacking substantive political content. The findings highlight that while TikTok can reach a wider audience and enable direct interaction with voters, it risks prioritizing popularity over political substance. Therefore, the PAN party should address criticisms with transparency and substantial communication to enhance understanding of their political goals. Highlights: TikTok engages a wider audience for political campaigns. "PAN 12" song evokes mixed reactions from students. Balance popularity with substantive communication to address criticisms.
