Abstract

This research is entitled Implementation of talaqqi Method in Tahfidzul Qur’an Learning for student class VIII MTs Terpadu Roudlotul Qur’an Lamongan by using qualitative research, descriptive research, and descriptive approach. The purpose of this study was to determine the planning of the talaqqi method in learning tahfidzul Quran, knowing the implementation of the talaqqi method in learning tahfidzul Quran, and knowing the evaluation of the talaqqi method in learning tahfidzul Quran Student class VIII at MTs Terpadu Roudlotul Quran Lamongan. The first result of this research is the planning of the talaqqi method in learning Tahfidzul Qur’an which is shown through: preparation of activity program plans using a syllabus that is more mapped to competency standards and basic competencies so that it can achieve the predetermined target, namely memorizing chapters 30 and 29 (important letter). The second result of this research is the implementation of the talaqqi method in learning Tahfidzul Qur’an which is shown through preliminary activities starting from the habit of praying before and after starting the lesson. The core activity is carried out by depositing memorization in turn to the tahfidz teacher, the implementation is carried out 2 times a week with 2 hours of lessons, namely Tuesday and Friday. The third result of this research is the evaluation of learning is carried out in two stages, namely test and non-test. For the evaluation of the test, it is done by giving questions to students so that students also understand the writing of their memorization and for non-test evaluation, it is done by checking the student’s BSS books by the teacher at MTs Terpadu Roudlotul Quran Lamongan.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of the literacy-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in Jurisprudence learning in MAN 1 Lamongan using a case study qualitative approach and data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The result of this research is that the teacher assigns students to work on a project in the form of papers and videos, where when assigning students using this PjBL model, the steps of the PjBL model are also applied. Among them are questions. This step questions are carried out by asking basic questions students. Planning is done by grouping students and determining what is in the project. Scheduling determines the project completion time. Supervision is carried out by monitoring the project work process. The assessment was carried out by students presenting the results of the project. Evaluation, by reflecting between the teacher and students.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik yang berakhlak mulia dan moderat. Salah satu aspek pembelajaran yang penting adalah pembentukan sikap moderasi beragama. Moderasi beragama adalah sikap yang mampu mengintegrasikan ajaran agama dengan kondisi sosial yang ada, sehingga tidak menimbulkan ekstremisme dan intoleransi. Madrasah sebagai salah satu sekolah yang harus mampu mengintegrasikan pembelajaran dan capaian moderasi beragama. Program moderasi beragama yang telah dimasukkan dalam Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional (RPJMN) 2020-2024 terus didorong oleh Pemerintah. Salah satu lembaga yang termasuk di bawah naungan Kementerian Agama RI adalah MAN 1 Lamongan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali bagaimana implementasi dan pembetukan sikap moderasi beragama di MAN 1 Lamongan?. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan gambaran utuh impelementasi dan pembentukan moderasi beragama di lapangan. Adapun data di peroleh melalui wawancara. Subyek penelitian di MAN 1 Lamongan dan informan dipilih berdasarkan purposive sampling, yakni guru PAI dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa impelementasi moderasi beragama dapat dilakukan dengan strategi, kokulikuler, ekstra kulikuler dan budaya sekolah. Adapun pembentukannya dapat dilakukan dengan mengadopsi teori internalisasi Thomas Lickona yang mencakup 3 tahap, yakni moral knowing, moral feeling, dan moral action.

Abstract

Religion which was originally in the realm of real reality, must now be included in the realm of virtual reality which clearly has very different characteristics. This new reality is characterized by simulation, artificiality, immersion, networked communication, and telepresence. Through a study of social media followers of Ustadz Abdul Somad (UAS), this study seeks to raise a number of fundamental questions, including: 1) how is the construction of religious understanding of followers of the social media account of UAS? 2) What are the models of religious understanding of UAS followers? 3) How is the content of UAS lectures on social media that provoke the pros and cons of religious understanding as a new religious authority ?. By using qualitative research methods through content analysis, and adopting the social construction paradigm developed by Peter L. Berger, this study produced several findings: First, the expression of religious ideas in the official account of Ustadz Abdul Somad, whether in the form of agreement or not, not rarely done using a variety of ways, ranging from rude statements, appreciative, and even intimidating. Secondly, the virtual society understanding model gives rise to a more open and free pattern of religious understanding. Third, free interaction in this virtual world in turn can lead to a more open attitude in dealing with differences. Fourth, free religiousinteraction hasimplications forreligious discourse as if without any restrictions. Variousreligious understandings meet in a virtual world without anyone being ableto control.

Abstract

This research seeks to explain the digital competence of teachers in learning and the urgency of digital competency for PAI learning. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach and uses the instruments of interviews, documentation, and observation. The subject of this research is SMK NU Lamongan. As for information, PAI teacher The research revealed four core digital competencies to possess: information, communication, content creation, and security. Digitally competent teachers can develop learning by leveraging technology without neglecting pedagogy. Increased digital competence among teachers requires training, certification, and self-development through education and training. The use of digital media in learning helps teachers and learners face the challenges of digital competence, but there is still a lack of understanding of technology, especially among Islamic teachers. The digital competence of teachers at SMK NU Lamongan is very important in the implementation of PAI learning, which involves learning goals, materials, strategies, and evaluations. The aim of PAI learning is to increase the fearfulness and goodwill of the students. Teachers need to master digital competencies in order to be able to effectively use technology in PAI learning

Abstract

This study aims to reveal how the Yayasan Lingkar Perdamaian (YLP) fosters former terrorists so that they can change or at least not commit violence and acts of terrorism in the name of religion. Through qualitative research, data was collected using in-depth interviews and observations of social activities in the field. The results of this study would like to suggest that strengthening religious moderation in former terrorist actors must be carried out in teaching-based Islamic education and social and psychological-based educational efforts. This means that the moderate character of ex-terrorists must be encouraged by various approaches that can open their hearts. So that they are willing to accept mistakes for their past behavior and are optimistic that they can socialize more with others based on Islamic educational values. Thus, Islamic education that is oriented towards a moderate religious understanding of terrorists must rely on rationalist and social aspects in a more humanist frame.

Abstract

Moderasi beragama adalah sikap yang mampu mengintegrasikan ajaran agama dengan kondisi sosial yang ada, sehingga tidak menimbulkan ekstremisme dan intoleransi. Madrasah sebagai salah satu sekolah yang harus mampu mengintegrasikan pembelajaran dan capaian moderasi beragama. Program moderasi beragama yang telah dimasukkan dalam Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional (RPJMN) 2020-2024 terus didorong oleh Pemerintah. Salah satu lembaga yang termasuk di bawah naungan Kementerian Agama RI adalah MAN 1 Lamongan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali bagaimana implementasi dan pembetukan sikap moderasi beragama di MAN 1 Lamongan?. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan gambaran utuh impelementasi dan pembentukan moderasi beragama di lapangan. Adapun data di peroleh melalui wawancara. Subyek penelitian di MAN 1 Lamongan dan informan dipilih berdasarkan purposive sampling, yakni guru PAI dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa impelementasi moderasi beragama dapat dilakukan dengan strategi, kokulikuler, ekstra kulikuler dan budaya sekolah. Adapun pembentukannya dapat dilakukan dengan mengadopsi teori internalisasi Thomas Lickona yang mencakup 3 tahap, yakni moral knowing, moral feeling, dan moral action.

Abstract

Terrorism is a problem that has not been fully resolved in Indonesia. This group still exists and continues to conduct cadres in several areas of this country. This study, therefore, aims to reveal the strategy carried out by the Lingkar Perdamaian Foundation (YLP) in Lamongan in providing guidance to former terrorists and breaking the chain of radical ideology in Indonesia. Qualitative data were obtained from interviews and direct observations with former terrorist actors through qualitative methods. This study succeeded in finding that in the process, YLP convincingly applied the values of multicultural Islamic education oriented to changing the ideology and personality of former terrorists. On the other hand, in the process, education for ex-terrorists was conducted based on an extraordinary paradigm, namely divinity (rabbaniyah), humanity (insaniyah), and nationality (wathaniyah). Islamic education was also conducted using a rational, psychosocial, and life skills approach. This research also contributes to building an Islamic education model designed explicitly for ex-terrorists with three orientations at once: ideological change, self-change, and encouraging them to socialize again with the broader community.

Abstract

Religious character is one of the characters that play a significant role in the formation of an individual personality. Religious character education should be given as early as possible so that children can behave following the teachings of Islam. As educational institutions, schools are responsible for material learning and the formation and development of student character. This article describes the school culture-based religious character education design contained in MI Nursyamiyah Plumpang Tuban. This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. This study resulted in findings that the design of school culture-based religious character education was implemented through compulsory school activities, teacher habituation and example, and school rules. Compulsory school activities include Dhuha and Dzuhur prayers in congregation, Asmaul Husna readings, wirid readings, barzanji readings, and tahlil readings. The habits applied are good habits that students must make, while the teacher's example is given through giving examples by the teacher in speaking and acting following Islamic law. School rules are made by considering Islamic values and norms that apply in society

Abstract

Strengthening religious character has an important role in the era of disruption, but currently the increasingly sophisticated technology and the development of science have given rise to positive and negative impacts. This study discusses the strengthening of religious character and supporting and inhibiting factors for strengthening religious character based on school culture at SMP Raudlatul Muta'allimin Babat Lamongan. This study uses a qualitative case study approach. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation methods. The results of the study show that strengthening religious character at SMP Raudlatul Muta'allimin is carried out through routine habits with several activities, namely religious and non-religious activities, including: praying, reading the Qur'an, studying Islamic boarding school books, praying in congregation, istighotsah tahlil manaqib, carrying out ceremonies and scouts, mutual respect and tolerance. The supporting factors include: a pesantren-style environment, school regulations, accompanying teachers/mentors, religious guidebooks, religious and non-religious activities. While the inhibiting factors for strengthening religious character are lack of student awareness, lack of teacher supervision and competence, lack of facilities and infrastructure.
