Abstract

This qualitative case study aims to analyze the process of moral enculturation based on Islamic education through Kitab Ta'lim Al-Muta'allim at Pesantren Bustanul Thullab Lamongan. Data collection used interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects are caregivers, leaders, pesantren administrators, and students selected by purposive sampling. The data were analyzed through data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, by using triangulation as verification. The findings indicate that the process of moral enculturation based on Islamic education through Kitab Ta'lim Al-Muta'allim at Pesantren Bustanul Thullab Lamongan is carried out through learning, role modeling, practice, and habituation. The learning process is conducted by Bandongan, Sorogan, and Musyawarah methods. Role modeling is implemented by having the kiai and teachers set an example for the students. Practical application is achieved through direct implementation in daily behavior. Habituation is carried out by encouraging students to integrate the values taught in Ta'lim Al-Muta'allim into their daily activities.

Abstract

Student Organizations have a very large role in the development of student leadership character. The purpose of this study was to examine the urgency of student organizations in developing Gibson's theoretical leadership character at SMK Al Futuh Tikung Lamongan using qualitative research and approaches in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study, the first is the activities of the NU Student Association student organization at Al Futuh Vocational School, the leadership character which is carried out by paying attention to three main components namely personality, motivation and ability has been carried out well by students who are members of student organizations, these three components penetrate each other and influence each other so that they can develop good student leadership characters and the third is the urgency of student organizations in developing student leadership characters as student organizations, student regeneration and student struggle guidelines.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian karya ilmiah ini yakni untuk mendesksripsikan minat belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media papan dadu dan metode tanya jawab pada mata pelajaran aqidah akhlak di kelas XI di SMA Darul Ulum Sugio Lamongan sebagai mitra dari MBKM Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka pada program Asistensi Mengajar Universitas Islam Lamongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Dari hasil penelitian yang kami dapatkan di SMA Darul Ulum Sugio Lamongan adalah media papan dadu dan metode tanya jawab dapat memenuhi indikator dalam minat belajar yakni adanya rasa suka atau ketertarikan peserta didik , pernyataan menyukai, ikut berpartisipasi dalam aktivitas pembelajaran, belajar tanpa disuruh dan memberikan perhatian. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan media papan dadu dan metode tanya jawab dapat menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa, hingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan media papan dadu dan metode tanya jawab di SMA Darul Ulum Sugio Lamongan cukup efektif hingga dapat di terapkan pada lembaga pendidikan yang lain.

Abstract

Religious Education plays a crucial role in shaping the personality of students. An ideal Islamic Religious Education (PAI) should not merely focus on the transmission of religious knowledge but also encompass learning to practice the acquired religious knowledge and instilling Islamic values (value transfer) that align with the concept of "rahmatan lil alamin." Within this context, the researcher becomes interested in investigating the implementation of PAI instruction in molding the profile of "rahmatan lil alamin" students in a madrasah. This study aims to elucidate and interpret the implementation of PAI instruction in shaping the profile of "rahmatan lil alamin" students in a madrasah. The research follows a normative approach and includes literature review and descriptive-narrative analysis as research stages. The researcher employs conceptual and legal approaches, utilizing library research methods. The researcher serves as the primary instrument as a planner, executor, data collector, analyst, and reporter of research findings. The research findings illustrate the significant role of PAI instruction as a platform for shaping and reinforcing the profile of "rahmatan lil alamin" students. Profile reinforcement can be implemented through intracurricular-integrated, co-curricular, and extracurricular teaching strategies. Furthermore, the study outlines the pivotal role of teachers in project-based learning selection. In this regard, teachers act as project planners, facilitators, student mentors, resource persons, supervisors or consultants, and discussion moderators, thereby providing a comprehensive educational experience for students.

Abstract

This research seeks to explore and interpret the role of teachers in the implementation of the Ki Hajar Dewantara Trilogy towards the formation of student character in MA Roudlotul Muta'abbidin Solokuro Lamongan. Using a qualitative approach, this study uses data mining techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation, the results of this study, describe the role of teachers in the implementation of the Ki Hajar Dewantara trilogy towards the formation of student character in MA Roudlotul Muta'abbidin into three components, namely in the capacity as Ing Ngarsa Tuladha, Ing Madya Mangun Karsa, and Tut Wuri Handayani in student formation. The three will be detailed in this study as the spirit of the Ki Hajar Dewantara trilogy and based on the findings of data in the field.

Abstract

This study examines the thought of Abdullah Nashih Ulwan on moral education through the method of exemplification (role modeling). In the midst of increasing moral decline in contemporary society, Ulwan’s approach offers an Islamic pedagogical model that emphasizes character formation through lived examples rather than mere verbal instruction. Employing a qualitative library research method, this study analyzes Ulwan’s seminal work Tarbiyatul Aulad fil Islam along with supporting literature and modern educational theories. The findings reveal three core principles of Ulwan’s concept of moral education: consistency between words and actions, sincerity of intention, and the embodiment of Islamic values in daily life. His perspective resonates with Bandura’s social learning theory, which highlights the role of social environment and behavioral modeling in shaping character. The study concludes that Ulwan’s ideas remain relevant in addressing the moral challenges of today’s youth and provide practical implications for families, schools, and educational policy. These findings reaffirm the central role of educators as moral exemplars and emphasize the need for a holistic integration of ethical conduct into all dimensions of the educational process. Penelitian ini mengkaji pemikiran Abdullah Nashih Ulwan tentang pendidikan moral melalui metode keteladanan (role modeling). Di tengah meningkatnya gejala dekadensi moral pada era kontemporer, pendekatan Ulwan menawarkan model pedagogis Islam yang menekankan pembentukan akhlak melalui contoh nyata, bukan sekadar instruksi verbal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif studi pustaka dengan menelaah karya utama Ulwan Tarbiyatul Aulad fil Islam serta literatur pendukung dan teori pendidikan modern. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Ulwan menekankan tiga prinsip utama pendidikan moral: konsistensi antara ucapan dan perbuatan, ketulusan niat, serta penghayatan nilai-nilai Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Perspektif ini selaras dengan teori pembelajaran sosial Bandura yang menekankan peran lingkungan sosial dan peniruan perilaku dalam pembentukan karakter. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemikiran Ulwan tetap relevan dalam menjawab tantangan moral generasi muda dan memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi keluarga, sekolah, dan kebijakan pendidikan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran pendidik sebagai teladan moral serta perlunya integrasi holistik etika ke dalam seluruh dimensi pengalaman pendidikan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Educational Verses in the Qur'anic Text: Pedagogical and Andragogy Perspectives. Objective. This study investigates the educational concepts of andragogy and pedagogy within the context of the Koran, focusing on the letters of Luqman and al-Kahf. Andragogy and pedagogy are commonly associated with the age of learners, with andragogy pertaining to adult education and pedagogy to child education. The objective of this research is to analyze these two concepts as they appear in the Koranic texts. Through a literature analysis, the study identifies andragogical and pedagogical themes in Surah Luqman and Surah al-Kahf. Method. This study is literature analysis. By examining existing scholarly interpretations and conducting a detailed textual analysis of Surah Luqman and Surah al-Kahf, the study identifies andragogical and pedagogical themes within these texts. This method allows for a comprehensive understanding of the educational narratives and principles embedded in the Koran. Findings: that Surah Luqman presents a rich pedagogical narrative that underscores the importance of worship and the imperative for children to exhibit good behavior towards their parents and others. This narrative serves as a foundational lesson in morality and ethics, aligning with the principles of pedagogy which focus on guiding and nurturing young learners. On the other hand, Surah al-Kahf embodies andragogical principles, emphasizing the education of adults through discussion and critical thinking. The characters in this surah are depicted engaging in dialogues and reflective thought, which are key elements of andragogical education aimed at fostering self-directed learning and deeper understanding. Conclusion: this study highlights the presence of both pedagogical and andragogical elements in the Koran, demonstrating its comprehensive approach to education across different age groups.
