Abstract

A college as a service company in carrying out business activities or educational activities, generally what must be considered is the orientation towards consumers, which concerns what companies must satisfy their consumers. In service companies, especially higher education institutions that are consumers are students, with more attention to aspects of customer orientation, of course, the goals to be achieved by the company will be realized. Problems that occur at the University of “X” make students feel dissatisfied and this causes complaints or complaints, including: inadequate parking, campus websites that are often slow, completeness of damaged facilities and infrastructure, administrative services that tend to be long.The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of service quality and university reputation on student satisfaction, with trust as a mediating variable. The population in this study were students from University “X” enrolled in the odd semester 2019/2020 Study Plan Card (KRS) of 22,753 students. The number of samples in this study were 99.56 students rounded up to 100 students (based on the Slovin formula). The analysis was carried out with the help of the SPSS program. The variable relationship model will be analyzed by path analysis. The result of research show service quality and university reputation have a direct effect on student trust at Universityof “X”. Service qualityand university reputation have a direct effect on student satisfaction at University of “X”. Trust has a direct influence on student satisfaction at the University of “X”. Keywords:  Trust, Service Quality, Reputation, Satisfaction

Abstract

Literature review suggests that there is a relationship between competence, motivation, interests, entrepreneurial orientation and entrepreneurial performance. The purpose of the study is to analyze entrepreneurial performance by placing competence, motivation and interest as independent variables, and entrepreneurial performance as the dependent variable. While entrepreneurship orientation is positioned as an intervening variable. A sample of 150 respondents, the instrument used was a questionnaire. Likert scale measurement scale, data processing and analysis tools using SEM. There are 7 hypotheses that must be tested for truth, and the test results show that the seven hypotheses are acceptable, so the initial assumptions about the relationship between the variables tested are true. Each variable of competence, motivation and interest influences / significantly affects entrepreneurial performance and also influences / significantly through the entrepreneurial orientation variable

Abstract

The research we conducted has the aim of examining the effect of Leadership Style and Work Stress on the performance of employees of KPP Madya Dua Semarang, and using job satisfaction as an intervening variable.This research is included in quantitative research with explanatory research type, by distributing questionnaires in the form of open and closed questions to employees of KPP Madya Semarang Dua as many as 112 people. The analysis technique used in this research is Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS approach.The results of this study indicate that job satisfaction can mediate two independent variables, namely Leadership Style and Work Stress. In addition, leadership style has a significant direct effect on employee performance, while work stress has no direct effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study is important because an individual does certain behaviors if important people in his life can accept his behavior and he can accept what he will do, including taking Farmer Business Credit (KUT), so that he does not make mistakes by controlling his behavior later. This study aimed to investigate the effect of social norms on farmers' Farmer Business Credit (KUT) behavior in Kendal Regency, Patean Subdistrict, Central Java as a mediating variable. The research population included all farmers who took KUT in the Patean subdistrict, Kendal Regency, Central Java, totaling 128 people, and all of them were used as samples. Hence, the sample selection method was the census method. The AMOS-25 program analyzed data. The results show that social norms positively and significantly impact the behavior of KUT indebtedness to farmers in the Patean subdistrict, Kendal Regency, Central Java. Interest in debt can mediate the impact of social norms on the behavior of KUT indebted to farmers in the Patean subdistrict, Kendal Regency, Central Java. The managerial implication of the research is that it will provide an understanding of the importance of knowing the factors that influence farmers on the behavior of taking and managing businesses well in supporting the development of their farming business. Abstract

Kewirausahaan telah menjadi alternatif pemecahan masalah ketenagakerjaan dan peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi, sehingga berbagai upaya telah dilakukan untuk menciptakan wirausahawan baru, termasuk melalui pengembangan jiwa wirausaha di seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Saat ini sosialisasi kewirausahaan masih diperlukan, terutama yang menyasar kelompok masyarakat potensial berbasis rumah tangga yang tingkat kesadaran berwirausahanya masih relatif rendah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa sosialisasi kewirausahaan ini dilaksanakan di Desa Purwoyoso Kecamatan Ngaliyan Kota Semarang dengan peserta dari PKK/ibu rumah tangga. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah untuk menanamkan jiwa wirausaha dan menambah pengetahuan tentang teknik memulai usaha rumahan, guna memanfaatkan waktu luang. Disarankan agar kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan topik kewirausahaan dapat berkelanjutan agar usaha rumah tangga dapat terwujud sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan/pendapatan keluarga.

Abstract

Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia puts the cooperative as the pillar of our national economy. However, its contribution to national economy is hardly significant due to several constraints; among them is human resources.The purpose of the study is to analyze the impact of self-actualization and compensation towards the working performance of multi-purpose cooperative managers by using quantitative approach. This research used purposive sampling technique and collected a sample of 114 multi-purpose cooperative manager of 168 population using. Binary regression is used in descriptive statistics test.The results show that both self-actualization and compensation have significant influence towards the working performance of multi-purpose cooperative managers in Semarang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dengan memfokuskan pada PT. Delapan Raja Abadi Semarang, sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa pijat. Pemilihan obyek penelitian ini didasari oleh observasi bahwa kinerja karyawan di perusahaan tersebut tidak mencapai tingkat optimal dan gagal mencapai target yang telah ditetapkan. Rumusan masalah yang diajukan adalah bagaimana meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dengan memperhatikan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening di PT. Delapan Raja Abadi Semarang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, dengan mempertimbangkan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel intervening di PT. Delapan Raja Abadi Semarang. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 70 responden yang dipilih menggunakan metode sensus atau sampel jenuh, mencakup seluruh karyawan di PT. Delapan Raja Abadi Semarang. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi dan lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja. Selain itu, temuan lainnya adalah bahwa kompensasi, lingkungan kerja, dan kepuasan kerja secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, uji efek mediasi menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja berperan sebagai mediator antara kompensasi dan kinerja karyawan, serta antara lingkungan kerja dan kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh work family conflict dan stres kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai baik secara langsung maupun melalui kecerdasan emosional sebagai mediasi pada pegawai KPP Madya Dua Semarang. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai KPP Madya Dua Semarang, sedangkan sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah pegawai yang sudah menikah atau berumah tangga, dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, diperoleh jumlah sampel penelitian sebanya 107 pegawai. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, dengan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Model (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa work family conflict dan stres kerja berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kecerdasan emosional. Work family conflict dan stres kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, sedangkan kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hasil uji mediasi diperoleh bahwa kecerdasan emosional secara signifikan dapat memediasi pengaruh work family conflict dan stres kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai

Abstract

The concept of this research challenge is how to maximize employee performance with work satisfaction acting as an intervening variable that mediates the influence of task complexity and organizational communication, based on the problem phenomena and research gaps identified. This study examines how task complexity and organizational communication affect worker performance at KPP West Semarang, using job satisfaction as an intervening variable. Using a sampling technique called the census or population research method, 117 respondents made up the study's sample, ensuring that all research samples served as respondents. Hence, 117 KPP Pratama West Semarang personnel served as the study's samples. A questionnaire-based data collection approach and SmartPLS software-based data analysis method are employed. The test findings support Hypothesis 1 by demonstrating that Task Complexity at KPP West Semarang significantly and favorably affects Job Satisfaction. Hypothesis 2 is accepted because organizational communication at KPP West Semarang significantly and favorably affects job satisfaction. At KPP West Semarang, task complexity has a favorable and significant impact on employee performance, indicating the acceptance of Hypothesis 3. At KPP West Semarang, organizational communication significantly improves employee performance, proving the validity of hypothesis 4. At KPP West Semarang, job satisfaction significantly improves employee performance, indicating the acceptance of Hypothesis 5. As an intervening variable, task complexity might enhance employee performance through job satisfaction, indicating the acceptance of Hypothesis 6. Furthermore, it is acknowledged that Hypothesis 7 that Organizational Communication might enhance Employee Performance by using Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya apa yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru di era Merdeka Belajar. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah Kinerja guru di SMK NU 07 Kendal masih belum mencapai presentase optimal. Dalam kenyataannya masih ada beberapa guru yang memiliki kendala dalam mengimplementasikan Merdeka Belajar, terutama dalam memilih media dan teknik pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tuntutan Kurikulum baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan angket menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert 1-5 untuk mengumpulkan data yang dibutuhkan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini seluruh guru di SMK NU 07 Kendal sebanyak 41 orang. Analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa analysis persamaan structural/Structural equation model (SEM) dengan menggunakan alat analisis SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Gaya Kepemimpinan, Kompetensi Profesional, dan Budaya Organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. 2) Sebagai variabel mediasi Komitmen Kerja berhasil memediasi pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, kompetensi profesional dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja guru.
