Abstract

Work ethic is currently a strategic entrepreneurship issue. Gaps were still found in previous studies. This study uses an alternative research model by placing the competency variable as a mediating variable. Such a model is the novelty of this research. The research aims to analyze the influence of talent, interpersonal skills, and motivation variables on work ethic through competency mediation in entrepreneurial students in Semarang. This research uses a sample of 120 respondents. Data was collected using a questionnaire instrument and distributed to respondents via Google Forms. The measurement scale uses a Likert scale with five response points. This research processed data using SmartPLS, starting with validity and reliability tests, then descriptive statistical analysis, and ending with inferential analysis. This study uses a significance-level test to test the hypothesis. Valid and reliable data can be identified through validity and reliability tests. The analysis results show that work ethic is influenced by 62 percent by the interpersonal skills-motivation variable, while competence is influenced by 59 percent by the talent-interpersonal skills-motivation variable. The results show that competence plays a role as a mediation between interpersonal skills and work ethic, as well as between motivation and work ethic, but does not mediate between talent and work ethic.

Abstract

Due to the lack of job prospects, micro and small business actors generally start their businesses. Based on theoretical studies, there is a relationship between entrepreneurial ambition, locus of control, personal attitude, ethnicity, and religiosity. Respondents in the research sample numbered 130 people. The tool used was a questionnaire consisting of 26 indicators and five variables. The Likert scale has five possible answers. The location of the study was Semarang. SEM-Amos was used for data processing and analysis. From the initial test, the data were normally distributed and original and reliable. Test the research model for all suitability criteria so that the research model can be accepted. The results of the study based on hypothesis testing showed two things that were not in accordance with the hypothesis: 1). Ethnicity has no real influence on a person's attitude, and 2). Through the mediation of personal attitudes, ethnicity has no real influence on entrepreneurial tendencies. This can be used as a source for further research. Thus, the novelty of this study shows that the variable of entrepreneurial intention is influenced by ethnicity, religiosity, locus of control, and personal attitudes. Then, the implications of research on competency as a mediating variable further strengthen the influence received by the entrepreneurial intention variable from the independent variables (ethnicity, religiosity, locus of control).

Abstract

Kewirausahaan adalah suatu proses penerapan kreativitas dan inovasi dalam memecahkan persoalan dan menemukan peluang untuk memperbaiki kehidupan. (Zimmerer, 2008). Saat ini persaingan di dunia usaha dalam menjual produk dan jasa sudah demikian kompleks, sehingga perlu kiat terobosan agar memiliki keunggulan dibandingkan kompetitor. Unique selling proposition diperlukan sebagai pengetahuan dan kiat bagi setiap wirausaha agar dapat memiliki keunggulan bersaing, karena dengan Unique selling proposition akan menunjang kesuksesan dalam menjual produk dan jasa. Berdasarkan pengamatan pada pelaku usaha ibu rumah tangga berskala mikro-kecil di Kelurahan Bulusan Kecamatan Tembalang Semarang, kinerja penjualan belum optimal, hal ini berkaitan dengan keterbatasan pengetahuan tentang kiat memenangkan persaingan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Kompetensi dan Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi terhadap Kinerja Pegawai dengan Komitmen Organisasi sebagai Mediasi. Permasalahan yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini adalah tidak tercapainya target rasio penyelesaian perkara dan masih adanya sisa perkara yang ada di pengadilan agama. Hal ini menandakan kinerja pegawai pengadilan dalam penyelesaian perkara masih perlu ditingkatkan dan mendorong pegawai untuk meningkatkan kompetensi di bidangnya masing-masing serta lebih memanfaatkan teknologi informasi yang ada di peradilan agama yang dapat dipengaruhi komitmen organisasi yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk dalam kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah explanatory. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yaitu data yang diperoleh langsung dari obyek penelitian yang diperoleh dari kuesioner. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lingkungan Pengadilan Agama wilayah eks Karesidenan Semarang dengan sampel sebanyak 125 pegawai yang menangani perkara dengan teknik sampling Proporsional Areal Sampling dan Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Metode analisa menggunakan analisa three box method dan PLS-SEM. Hasil analisa membuktikan bahwa kompetensi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai, pemanfaatan teknologi informasi tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai, kompetensi berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen organisasi, pemanfaatan teknologi informasi berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen organisasi, komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai dan komitmen organisasi dapat memediasi pengaruh kompetensi dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi terhadap kinerja pegawai.

Abstract

The research was conducted to produce a formulation of the concept ofDecision to Buy Halal Products in Generation Z with Digital Marketingas a new paradigm of business success perspective, in New Students ofthe Faculty of Economics, University of Semarang The Decision to BuyHalal Products in Generation Z was built through efforts to identify theUse of Social Media, Marketing Influencers and Lifestyle with theUnderstanding of Halal Products as a moderation of the relationshipbetween the Use of Social Media and Lifestyle with the Decision to BuyHalal Products in Generation Z represented by New Students of theFaculty of Economics, University of Semarang. New students of theUniversity of Semarang became the population, while a sample of 175was calculated using the Lemeshow formula. Medelling StructuralEquation (SEM) analysis with the application of the Partial LeastSquare (PLS) program, namely smartPLS.4.0 is used to prove thehypothesis. The results of hypothesis testing show that the Decision toBuy Halal Products is actualized through the Use of Social Media,Influencer Marketing and Lifestyle. The Use of Social Media,Marketing Influencers and Lifestyle directly has a significant effect onthe positive direction of the Decision to Buy Halal Products,Understanding Halal Products is not able to moderate the relationshipbetween the Use of Social Media and Lifestyle in the Decision to BuyHalal Products. The decision to buy Halal products in Generation Z isinfluenced by the Use of Social Media, Marketing Influencer andLifestyle by 53.00%. The research model has a QSquare of 0.2809(>0), which means that the model has strong predictive relevance.Understanding Halal Products in Deciding to Buy Halal Products inGeneration Z.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Kompensasi terhadap Kinerja karyawan, pengaruh Kompetensi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, Kepemimpinan Tranformasional Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, Peran Kepemimpinan Transformasional sebagai pemediasi pengaruh Kompensasi dan kompetensi terhadap Kinerja karyawan. Menguji kepemimpinan Transformasional sebagai pemediasi pengaruh Kompensasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, menguji Kepemimpinan Transformasional sebagai pemediasi pengaruh Kompetensi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Penelitian di PT. Almega Sejahtera dengan populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 orang, Teknik pengambilan sampel yang dipergunakan untuk menentukan sampel menggunakan metode Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling, yaitu teknik penentuan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu (Sugiyono, 2014). Teknik analisis data menggunakan Smart PLS. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan H1 diterima, dengan pengujian pengaruh Kompensasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan menghasilkan P Value < 0,05 dan dari pengujian Boostrapping PLS dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kompensasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhada Kinerja Karyawan. H2 diterima, dari pengujian pengaruh Kompetensi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kompetensi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhada kinerja karyawan. H3 diterima, dari pengujian pengaruh Kepemimpinan Transformasional terhadap Kinerja Karyawan memiliki hasil positif signifikan. H4 diterima, dari hasil pengujian Pengaruh Kompensasi terhadap Kepemimpinan transformasional dengan hasil positif signifikan. H5 diterima, hasil penelitian menunjukan positif signifikan dari pengujian Pengaruh Kompetensi terhadap Kepemimpinan transformasional. H6 diterima, hasil penelitian menunjukan positif signifikan dari pengujian Peran Kepemimpinan transformasional sebagai mediasi Kompensasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. H7 diterima, hasil penelitian menunjukan positif signifikan dari pengujian Peran Kepemimpinan transformasional sebagai mediasi Kompetensi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan.

Abstract

The research we conducted has the aim of examining the effect of Leadership Style and Work Stress on the performance of employees of KPP Madya Dua Semarang, and using job satisfaction as an intervening variable.This research is included in quantitative research with explanatory research type, by distributing questionnaires in the form of open and closed questions to employees of KPP Madya Semarang Dua as many as 112 people. The analysis technique used in this research is Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS approach.The results of this study indicate that job satisfaction can mediate two independent variables, namely Leadership Style and Work Stress. In addition, leadership style has a significant direct effect on employee performance, while work stress has no direct effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to test or find out how much influence the workload variable and work environment have on employee performance which is mediated by the work stress variable. This test was carried out using a questionnaire method on the performance of employees in the production and packaging fields. The number of samples in this research was 100 respondents using a purposive sampling method, namely determining samples whose sample size was not yet known. The analytical tools used are path analysis, outer model analysis, inner model analysis and hypothesis testing with the help of SmartPLS 4.1.0.3 software. The results of this research show that workload and work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, workload and work environment have a positive and significant effect on work stress, work stress has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The indirect effect shows that workload and work environment influence employee performance through work stress.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and empirically examine the effect of personal characteristics, human capital, and social capital variables on entrepreneurial business performance variables, with the intervening variable being entrepreneurial characteristics. A sample of 182 respondents, using a questionnaire instrument, the assumption test shows the results of the evaluation of the normality of the data that do not deviate, then the multivariate outliers test has the same degree of freedom of 22, the value of mahalanobis distance ² (0.001;22) = 48.268 so it can be concluded that the model on the data has has no outliers. Residual testing, after the model respecification technique was carried out, it showed that the loading factor of all indicators was > 0.5 and the standardized residual value showed that the value was in the range of ± 2.58 so that it was concluded that the modified model was acceptable. Hypothesis testing, there is a significant influence between the variables of personal characteristics and human capital, on entrepreneurial characteristics. Human capital variables and business characteristics have a significant effect on business performance. But there is no significant effect between the variables (1) social capital on entrepreneurial characteristics, and (2) personal characteristics on business performance. Novelty is a business performance research model with entrepreneurial characteristics as the intervening variable, and the survey was conducted during the economic crisis due to the covid-19 pandemic.
