Abstract

The purpose of this study was to measure the management of public services provided to the community at the sub-district office in Soppeng district. The research data were obtained in 8 sub-districts in the Soppeng Regency. Data is collected using . The technique of collecting research data is to use a survey by distributing closed and structured questionnaires as a tool to reveal answers from respondents. The data analysis technique is using the IKM value which is calculated using the weighted average value of each service element. The results showed that there are 2 sub-districts that get a Conversion Interval value of 65.00 – 76.60, namely LILIRIAJA District and LILIRILAU District with Service Quality "C" with Poor Service Unit Performance, but in general the community's assessment of the services obtained at the District Office in Soppeng Regency is Good.

Abstract

Bullying di sekolah dasar merupakan masalah serius yang berdampak pada perkembangan psikologis, sosial, dan akademik siswa. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, mahasiswa KKN-R Unim Bone Angkatan V melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa sosialisasi bertema “Kita Teman, Bukan Lawan” di MIN 5 Bone, Desa Ajanglaleng, Kecamatan Amali. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang bentuk, dampak, dan pencegahan bullying, sekaligus menumbuhkan budaya saling menghargai antar teman sebaya. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, simulasi peran, pemutaran video edukatif, dan sesi konseling. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa mengenai konsep bullying, perubahan sikap menjadi lebih empatik dan peduli, serta penurunan insiden perilaku negatif yang berdampak pada iklim belajar lebih nyaman. Sosialisasi dengan pendekatan partisipatif terbukti efektif sebagai strategi penguatan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the activities and performance of extension workers based on the perceptions of farmer groups in Makali District, Polman Regency. This type of research is descriptive research, namely research that describes the phenomenon of the research variables without testing the hypothesis. The research location is in Makali District, Polman Regency. The research population of the extension partners is the farmer group, totaling 60 farmer groups. A purposive sample assessment in which all the heads of the farmer groups were used as research samples representing their respective farmer groups. The results showed that the performance assessment of the extension workers in Matakali District, Polman Regency conducted by Extension Partners (Chairman of the Farmers Group) was 4096 points, which means that the performance of the extension workers in Matakali District, Polman Regency was in the Enough category. Several things that need to be done by extension workers in improving performance so that they are optimal are the preparation of extension planning data, application of extension methods, self-help and regional development, especially the development of the extension profession in creating scientific papers to be further improved and in accordance with the needs of extension workers and breeders in Makali District. Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk: Mengetahui kategori keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMP kelas VIII sebelum dan setelah diajar model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing, mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ialah Quasi Experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ialah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 24 Makassar. Teknik Pengambilan sampel ialah Purposive Sampling. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kategori keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik setelah diajar inkuiri terbimbing berada pada kategori tinggi dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata 68,51. Peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dilihat dari perolehan N-Gain 0,47, serta pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dilakukan melalui uji t diperoleh Ho ditolak dan Hi. Berdasarkan hasil maka dapat disimpulkan adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 24 Makassar dengan kategori keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik berada pada kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Evaluation of ambient air quality conditions in Dobut Village, Manokwari, through a spatial approach based on 12 monitoring points. The parameters measured in this study consisted of PM₂.₅, NO₂, and SO₂ during the dry season. The data analysis used the Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) interpolation method. The existing results show that most areas of Dobut Village have air quality in the "good - moderate" category, but there are several points with PM₂.₅, NO₂, and SO₂ concentrations within the threshold approaching the WHO limit, namely around the industrial center area located in the suburban location. This study emphasizes the importance of spatial-based air quality monitoring in rural areas that are starting to develop in mobility and infrastructure. The measurement results show that the suburban zone has higher PM₂.₅, NO₂, and SO₂ concentrations than the urban area. This is a comparison that has been the general assumption that suburban areas are cleaner. This area has a higher concentration due to industrial activities and vehicle activities by residents and industrial workers in Dobut Village so that the area becomes unclean.

However, public understanding of the technology, advantages, and disadvantages of electric cars is still limited. A Community Service activity was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Kotabaru, where students faced challenges in assembling an electric car, specifically with its battery, electrical systems, and software. Furthermore, myths among the teachers created apprehension about using electric vehicles. This outreach program aimed to introduce EV technology, educate on its pros and cons, and increase public awareness and acceptance. The methods used included lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. The expected outcome of this activity is an increase in public knowledge and acceptance of electric cars as an eco-friendly technology. Abstract

Employee performance in public institutions is shaped by organizational and behavioral factors, with work discipline, motivation, and work facilities being critical in determining productivity and service quality. This study examines the individual and collective impacts of these factors on employee performance at the Trade Office of Parepare City. Using a quantitative approach, the research involved all 45 employees as respondents through a saturated sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to evaluate the significance of each variable. The findings indicate that work discipline significantly enhances performance, with a t-value of 2.997 exceeding the critical threshold of 2.018. Motivation also has a significant positive effect, evidenced by a t-value of 2.899. However, work facilities show no significant impact, with a t-value of -0.199. Collectively, these variables significantly influence performance, as demonstrated by an F-value of 3.189 surpassing the critical value of 2.82. The study concludes that fostering work discipline and motivation is essential for improving employee performance in public sector organizations, while the role of work facilities appears less impactful when already adequate.

Abstract

The mining sector significantly contributes to Indonesia’s economic growth but faces challenges in financial stability, governance, and social and environmental responsibility. This study examines the impact of good corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability reporting on the financial performance of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2022. Using secondary data from IDX financial reports, 18 firms were selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis involved assumption testing, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 26. Results indicate that good corporate governance positively and significantly affects financial performance, suggesting that strong governance enhances financial outcomes. In contrast, corporate social responsibility and sustainability reporting do not show significant effects, implying that social and sustainability initiatives have yet to translate into measurable financial gains. The findings suggest that mining companies should strengthen governance practices to improve transparency and investor confidence, while enhancing the quality and implementation of corporate social responsibility and sustainability reporting to create greater long-term economic value.

Abstract

Job satisfaction is essential for achieving organizational objectives, with work discipline, work commitment, and work motivation identified as key factors shaping employee attitudes and performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of work discipline, work commitment, and work motivation on employee job satisfaction. The research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach, involving 33 employees selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data were obtained using a 1–5 Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The findings show that work discipline, work commitment, and work motivation each have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Work motivation emerges as the most dominant variable, indicated by the highest regression coefficient. The simultaneous test confirms that all three variables collectively influence job satisfaction. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.878) reveals that 87.8% of the variation in job satisfaction is explained by the studied variables, while 12.2% is affected by other factors not included in the model. These results emphasize the strategic importance of strengthening discipline, enhancing commitment, and improving motivation to elevate employee satisfaction and organizational performance.
