Abstract

Investment in chemical/oil tankers is crucial for enhancing operational performance and maintaining competitiveness in the global shipping industry. The background of this research is the need to provide solutions to challenges in ship investments that often fail to meet targets, whether in technical performance, compliance with international regulations, or cost efficiency. These conditions affect the competitiveness of companies, as most chemical/oil tanker fleets are over 15 years old, require high maintenance costs, and pose risks of detention by Port State Control (PSC) and rejection by major oil companies. The methodological approach is the integration of Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) and Analytic Network Process (ANP) to analyze the selection of chemical/oil tanker ship investments. DEMATEL is used to identify cause-effect relationships so that dominant factors can be prioritized. Once the dominant factors are obtained, ANP processes the relationships and dependencies among criteria in the network model and determines more precise weighting. Subsequently, priority calculations are carried out by constructing a supermatrix that encapsulates the relationships among elements. This supermatrix is analyzed to produce final priorities for determining the best alternative. The research data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with stakeholders, including top management and experts. DEMATEL revealed key influencing factors such as Initial Investment, Operating Costs, Regulatory Compliance, Market and Geopolitical Risks, and Technological Risks. These factors are analyzed in the ANP method to obtain a model, network, and pairwise comparisons.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas program konseling pra-nikah dalam mengurangi tingkat konflik rumah tangga dan perceraian di Indonesia dan Malaysia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur dari jurnal, buku, dan website yang relevan, termasuk laporan dari lembaga pemerintah dan non-pemerintah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling pra-nikah memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan komunikasi pasangan, mengurangi konflik, dan menurunkan tingkat perceraian di kedua negara. Di Indonesia, pasangan yang mengikuti konseling pra-nikah mengalami tingkat perceraian yang lebih rendah (2,5%) dibandingkan dengan pasangan yang tidak mengikuti konseling (15-20%). Sementara itu, di Malaysia, program ini juga menunjukkan hasil yang serupa dengan tingkat perceraian yang lebih rendah (5-8%). Selain itu, program konseling juga berkontribusi pada pengurangan kekerasan rumah tangga dan peningkatan kepuasan pernikahan di kedua negara. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan program termasuk kualitas konselor, keterbukaan pasangan, kesesuaian program dengan nilai budaya, serta dukungan keluarga. Perbedaan signifikan antara Indonesia dan Malaysia terletak pada struktur program, tingkat partisipasi, dan dukungan sosial yang lebih kuat di Malaysia. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa konseling pra-nikah dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pernikahan dan mengurangi konflik rumah tangga, meskipun tantangan budaya dan keterbatasan sumber daya di Indonesia masih perlu diperhatikan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program di negara tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Nilai-nilai Kepemimpinan dalam Kisah Al-Qur’an (Studi Tafsir Al-Maraghi pada Kisah Thalut QS. Baqarah 246-25) mengunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Untuk mengetahui apa saja term pemimpin dalam Al-Qur’an, Untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai kepemimpinan dalam kisah Thalut pada Tafsir Al-Maraghi.Untuk mengetahui relevansi nilai-nilai kepemimpinan Islam yang terkandung dalam kisah Thalut dengan kondisi umat Islam saat ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini, yang pertama adalah terdapat beberapa term kepemimpinan yaitu: khilafah, imamah, dan ulil amri. Yang kedua dari kisah Thalut ini ditemukan beberapa nilai-nilai kepemimpinan pendidikan islam yang meliputi: berilmu luas, ikhlas dan beriman. Kemudian yang ketiga Relevansi Nilai-nilai Kepemimpinan Pendidikan Islam yang Terkandung dalam Kisah Thalut dengan Kondisi Umat Islam Saat Ini yaitu: Thalut yang dianugerahi ilmu pengetahuan oleh Allah SWT. dapat membawanya memimpin sebuah kaum yang besar (Bani Israil), Keikhlasan diimplementasikan dengan keteguhan hati dan rasa optimis yang tergambar dalam kisah Thalut. Ketiga nilai-nilai kepemimpinan Pendidikan Islam dalam kisah Thalut dapat direlevansikan ke zaman sekarang. Seorang pemimpin saat ini seharusnya berbekal dengan nilai-nilai kepemimpinan Thalut. Dengan begitu, kesejahteraan dan kemakmuran yang menjadi tujuan visi dan misi dalam kepemimpinan dapat terwujud.

Abstract

In the increasingly developed digital era, information technology, particularly the internet and social media, has had a significant impact on people's lives. While it offers ease of interaction and access to information, the rapid development of this technology also brings challenges, such as the rise of cybercrime and the misuse of social media. To address these issues, the Indonesian government enacted Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (UU ITE), aimed at creating a secure digital environment. However, the implementation of the UU ITE often leads to misunderstandings, particularly among the younger generation, which risks stifling freedom of expression. This study aims to assess the level of understanding of law students regarding UU ITE, especially in the context of social media usage. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods through questionnaires and in-depth interviews. The respondents in this study are 245 law students from various universities in Lampung. The results show that the majority of students understand UU ITE and social media ethics, but their awareness of the importance of verifying information before sharing news on social media is still low. Their understanding of legal sanctions related to defamation, hoaxes, and hate speech is fairly good, but there is a need to raise awareness about the negative impact of spreading unverified information. This research contributes to the understanding and implementation of UU ITE among law students, as well as the importance of further education on digital responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze learning approaches, disciplinary culture, and character development strategies in elementary education in Japan and Indonesia through a comprehensive literature review. Using a literature review research design, data were obtained from national and international journals, academic books, educational organization reports, and relevant previous research findings from the past ten years. The findings indicate that Japan has successfully implemented active, collaborative, and contextual learning integrated with school routines, thereby shaping students' character through direct experience. In contrast, Indonesia, which has adopted a competency-based curriculum, still faces challenges such as pedagogical consistency, disparities in teacher quality, and a weak school culture that supports active learning and character education. In terms of discipline, Japan implements an approach based on collective responsibility and self-regulated behavior, while Indonesia is still in the transition process towards positive discipline that focuses on strengthening social-emotional competencies. Gap analysis reveals differences in the integration of learning, character, and school culture that impact the effectiveness of elementary education in both countries. This study presents a novelty in the form of mapping the state of the art that shows the relationship between learning approaches and character development in an international comparative context.
