Abstract

This study is a classroom action research that aims to determine the effect of applying the Team Gemes Tournament (TGT) learning model on improving student collaboration skills. This research was carried out in the VA class of SD Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari in the first semester of the 2023/2024 Academic Year with a total of 11 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. The data collection methods in this study are documentation methods, and observation. The collaboration ability of learners is observed through the application of observation methods. The existence of data analysis techniques using quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques based on increasing the average level of collaboration skills of learners in each cycle serves as an indicator of research success. The results showed that the pre-cycle obtained the average results of student collaboration skills of 49.58% with sufficient criteria, then the first cycle increased by obtaining an average of 68.80% with good criteria, and the second cycle obtained an average of 82.23% with very good criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model can improve students' collaboration skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena hasil konsentrasi belajar di kelas IIB masih belum memenuhi ketuntasan klasikal. Misalnya ketika guru memberikan penguatan materi, peserta didik masih banyak yang berbicara dan bermain dengan temannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya yang tepat untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar peserta didik melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning di kelas IIB SD Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari. Metode yang digunakan untuk melaksanakan penelitian ini adalah metode Penilaian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan MC Taggart melalui tahapan model perencanaan (Planning), tindakan (acting), observasi (observing) dan refleksi (reflecting). Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan wawancara guru kelas. Hasil dari pengamatan dan observasi yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran PBL dianggap tepat untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar peserta didik di kelas II. Hasil tersebut dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya persentase konsentrasi belajar peserta didik dari Pra-siklus berjumlah 51%, meningkat menjadi 64% dalam pelaksanaan siklus 1, kemudian meningkat lagi 78% pada siklus II. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul matematika berbasis metakognitif sebagai solusi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa khusunya pada pembelajaran operasi hitung bilangan cacah kelas II SD. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 2 Drono, dengan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) menggunakan model ADDIE . Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan angket. Hasil validasi ahli media diperoleh  presentase sebesar 80% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Pada validasi ahli materi diperoleh presentase sebesar 92% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Sehingga berdasarkan uji validasi ahli media dan ahli materi modul dikatakan valid dan siap untuk ujicoba lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di sekolah melalui ahli praktisi diperoleh presentase 93% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan modul digital matematika berbasis metakognitif, modul layak dan siap untuk digunakan sabagai bahan ajar.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the correlation between school well-being and academic performance among full-day students enrolled at MI Muhammadiyah PK Wirogunan Kartasura. This is a descriptive-quantitative study employing an explanatory methodology. The study sample comprised 127 upper-class students enrolled at MI Muhammadiyah PK Wirogunan Kartasura during the academic year 2022–2023. The research employed a total sampling technique to select the sample, resulting in 127 samples utilised for the study. This research makes use of documentation, questionnaires, and observation as data collection methods. Simultaneously, a questionnaire comprising 25 items was employed as the data collection instrument in this study. This study employs a variety of data analysis techniques, including tests of research instruments' validity and reliability, tests of classical assumptions, and hypothesis testing via simple linear regression analysis. The findings of this research indicated that student learning achievement at MI Muhammadiyah PK Wirogunan Kartasura was significantly impacted by school well-being. The t-count value (3.7788) exceeded the critical t-value (1.657) from the t-table, and the p-value (0.000) was less than 0.05. Furthermore, according to the findings of the study, the indicator of belonging in school well-being has the highest mean value.

Abstract

The ability to speak in front of a general audience or public speaking needs to be trained as early as possible. Public speaking will provide many benefits for someone to continue to achieve a better career in the future. The purpose of this research is to analyze how public speaking is practiced at MIM PK Wirogunan through the Islamic lecture and young preachers’ program that have been implemented since 2015/2016. This study uses a type of qualitative research with a case study research design. The number of respondents used was 7 people consisting of school principals, teachers in class IV A and B, and 2 students each in class A and B. The research data presented was in the form of descriptions accompanied by quotes from the results of interviews conducted with the respondents. This research took place using data collection techniques through three ways, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The validity test was carried out by means of technique and source triangulation. The results of the study show that the two programs implement the expected form of public speaking training, namely the fulfillment of public speaking components such as speakers, material recipients, material content, and feedback. Positive impacts were also received by students, namely having a more courageous mentality, self-confidence, and being able to think more critically. However, there are also a number of obstacles that have been encountered, but so far, they have been handled well through evaluation activities. Kemampuan berbicara di depan khalayak umum atau public speaking perlu dilatih sedini mungkin. Public speaking akan memberikan segudang manfaat untuk kelangsungan seseorang mencapai karier yang lebih baik di masa mendatang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa bagaimana praktik public speaking di MIM PK Wirogunan melalui program kultum dan da’i cilik yang telah dilaksanakan sejak tahun 2015/2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Jumlah responden yang digunakan berjumlah 7 orang yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru kelas IV A dan B, serta masing-masing 2 siswa kelas A dan B. Data penelitian yang disajikan berupa deskripsi yang disertai kutipan hasil wawancara bersama responden. Penelitian ini berlangsung menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui tiga cara yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, serta kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan yang dilakukan adalah dengan cara triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua program tersebut mengimplementasikan bentuk pelatihan public speaking yang diharapkan, yakni hampir terpenuhinya komponen public speaking seperti adanya pembicara, penerima materi, isi materi, serta adanya feedback. Dampak positif juga diterima siswa yakni memiliki mental lebih berani, percaya diri, serta mampu berpikir lebih kritis. Akan tetapi terdapat pula beberapa kendala yang turut ditemui, namun sejauh ini dapat diatasi dengan baik melalui kegiatan evaluasi.

Abstract

Bullying behavior is carried out consciously to hurt others mentally and physically. Bullying behavior is also often done by students at school, including fourth grade students at SDN Tunggulsari 1. Therefore, the teacher’s role is needed in overcoming and reducing bullying. This research was conducted to find out the forms of bullying behavior, the teacher's role in dealing with bullying behavior, and the obstacles experienced by the teacher during the process. The research conducted is included in the type of descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach model. The informants in this study were school principals, fourth grade teachers, bullies and victims of bullying. This study uses the data analysis technique of the Miles & Huberman model which is carried out in three stages including data reduction, analysis and presentation of data, drawing conclusions. Data collection techniques with direct field observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Teachers and schools have handled student bullying behavior quite well. The results of the study show that teachers play a significant role in dealing with bullying in the classroom. Several ways are carried out to overcome and reduce bullying behavior. The role of the teacher in preventing bullying is carried out in several ways including socializing bullying to students, being assertive about deviant actions, instilling harmony and respect for others, forming study groups, instilling religious values, and establishing harmonious relations with students. Then the teacher's role in overcoming bullying was found as gathering information, reconciling students, providing counseling, providing emotional support, and taking follow-up actions. The results of this study can be used as a reference for the development of appropriate and effective bullying prevention efforts by various parties, especially teachers in schools. Perilaku bullying merupakan suatu tindakan yang dilakukan secara sadar untuk menyakiti orang lain secara mental maupun fisik. Perilaku bullying juga masih sering dilakukan para siswa di sekolah, termasuk siswa kelas 4 di SDN Tunggulsari 1. Oleh karenanya, peran guru sangatlah diperlukan dalam mengatasi dan mengurangi adanya tindakan bullying. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk perilaku bullying, peran guru dalam menangani perilaku bullying, dan hambatan yang dialami guru selama prosesnya. Penelitian yang dilakukan termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan model pendekatan studi kasus. Narasumber dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas empat, pelaku bullying dan korban bullying. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data model Miles & Huberman yang dilakukan dalam tiga tahap meliputi reduksi data, analisis dan penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi lapangan secara langsung, wawancara secara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Guru dan sekolah telah melakukan penanganan terhadap perilaku bullying siswa dengan cukup baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru berperan besar dalam menangani adanya tindakan bullying di kelas. Berbagai cara dilakukan untuk dapat mengatasi dan mengurangi perilaku bullying yang terjadi. Peran guru dalam pencegahan bullying dilakukan dengan berbagai cara meliputi sosialisasi bullying kepada para siswa, bersikap tegas terhadap tindakan menyimpang, menanamkan sikap rukun dan menghargai sesama, membentuk kelompok belajar, menenamkan nilai religious, serta menjalin hubungan harmonis dengan siswa. Kemudian peran guru dalam mengatasi bullying yang ditemukan seperti mengumpulkan informasi, mendamaikan siswa, memberikan konseling, memberikan dukungan emosional, dan melakukan tindakan lanjutan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan pengembangan upaya pencegahan bullying yang tepat dan efektif oleh berbagai pihak khususnya guru di sekolah.

Abstract

Teacher skills in classroom management are needed so that the learning process in the classroom can run well and follow the goals desired by teachers and students. This research was conducted to determine and describe teachers' skills in classroom management at MI Muhammadiyah Gonilan using a qualitative descriptive approach and phenomenological model. The techniques used in collecting data are observation, interviews, and documentation. This research involved two resource persons: IVa and IVb homeroom teachers. The research results, among other things, show preparation for classroom management. Before entering class, the teacher prepares lesson plans and reference books and prepares students to participate in learning. Furthermore, in building positive relationships, the teacher is in charge of creating a comfortable atmosphere. Other research results relate to the implementation of classroom management. In classroom management, some factors support the implementation process. Several supporting factors include teaching aids, teachers' accompanying books or complete teaching materials, student books, and teachers and students arriving on time. Inhibiting factors are different children's concentration and different children's comprehension abilities. AbstrakKeterampilan guru dalam pengelolaan kelas sangat dibutuhkan sehingga proses pembelajaran di kelas dapat berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan tujuan yang diinginkan oleh guru dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan keterampilan guru dalam pengelolaan kelas di MI Muhammadiyah Gonilan dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan model fenomenologi. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua narasumber yakni wali kelas IVa dan IVb. Hasil penelitian antara lain memperlihatkan tentang persiapan pengelolaan kelas. Sebelum memasuki kelas, guru mempersiapkan RPP, buku referensi dan menyiapkan peserta didik untuk siap mengikuti pembelajaran. Selanjutnya, dalam membangun hubungan positif, di sini guru yang bertugas menciptakan suasana nyaman. Hasil penelitian lainnya berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan pengelolaan kelas. Dalam pengelolaan kelas, terdapat faktor yang mendukung proses pelaksanaannya. Beberapa faktor pendukung seperti alat peraga, buku pendamping guru atau bahan ajar lengkap, buku peserta didik lengkap, guru dan peserta didik datang tepat waktu. Faktor penghambat adalah konsentrasi anak yang berbeda, daya tangkap anak yang berbeda-beda.Kata Kunci: Keterampilan guru; pendidikan; pengelolaan kelas.

Abstract

The fixed or looping homeroom model shows the potential to improve the relationship between teachers, students, and parents. This research was conducted to find out and describe the model of the permanent homeroom teacher and its impact on the relationship between teachers, students, and parents at SD Aisyiyah Unggulan Gemolong using a qualitative descriptive approach and a phenomenological model. The techniques used in the research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the homeroom model at SD Aisyiyah has a positive impact. The existence of this system allows homeroom teachers to improve the quality of learning and create a comfortable, open, and supportive environment for learning and development. Good proximity between homeroom teachers, students, and parents has a significant influence on students' academic success and emotional development. This model also generates a sense of trust, comfort, and closeness that makes students feel more comfortable in learning and interacting at school. This model of a permanent homeroom teacher is effective and useful in education at SD Aisyiyah and has received positive support from students' parents. Overall, the homeroom model at SD Aisyiyah has succeeded in building a good relationship between homeroom teachers, students, and parents, which consistently and continuously supports the academic and social development of children at the school.

Abstract

This study used a quantitative approach to analyze the influence of parenting styles and teaching methods on students' learning independence. All fifth-grade students at the school constituted the study population, with a sample of 20 students selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires, while data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression. The results show that parenting styles have a greater impact (t = 5.155, p < 0.05) than teaching styles (t = 2.780, p < 0.05). The F-test confirms a significant combined effect (F = 12.917, p < 0.0001), with an R² value of 0.618, indicating that 61.8% of learning independence is explained by these variables. The findings highlight the importance of democratic parenting and interactive teaching in fostering student autonomy. Collaboration between parents and teachers is essential for maximizing learning independence.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Reading Corner Program in improving the reading and writing literacy of students at SDN Suruh 2. The method used is qualitative descriptive research with an ethnographic approach. Research instruments include interviews, observation, and documentation, while data analysis techniques use the Miles & Huberman model: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that the Reading Corner Program was able to gradually increase students' interest and reading and writing skills. This program also contributes to building reading habits from an early age and improving understanding of texts. However, there are several obstacles in the availability of varied books and low motivation to read among some students. Therefore, more innovative strategies are needed to increase the effectiveness of this program in supporting school literacy culture on an ongoing basis. Keyword: Literacy reading and writing, Reading corner, ethnography, elementary school Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Program Pojok Baca dalam meningkatkan literasi baca tulis siswa SDN Suruh 2. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Instrumen penelitian mencakup wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles & Huberman: reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Program Pojok Baca mampu meningkatkan minat dan keterampilan membaca serta menulis siswa secara bertahap. Program ini juga berkontribusi dalam membangun kebiasaan membaca sejak dini dan meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap teks. Namun, terdapat beberapa kendala dalam ketersediaan buku yang bervariasi serta rendahnya motivasi membaca pada sebagian siswa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang lebih inovatif untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program ini dalam mendukung budaya literasi sekolah secara berkelanjutan.
