Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan menggunakan ring modifikasi terhadap hasil shooting jump shoot bola basket pada siswa kelas VII SMP Imanuel Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif komparatif dengan cara pengambilan data menggunakan tes shooting jump shoot bola basket. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Imanuel Bandar Lampung berjumlah 30 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t (beda). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan menggunakan ring modifikasi untuk meningkatkan hasil shooting jump shoot  siswa kelas VII SMP Imanuel Bandar Lampung, dengan nilai t hitung = 9,198 > t tabel = 2,145. 2) Tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan latihan menggunakan ring standar untuk meningkatkan hasil shooting jump shoot  siswa kelas VII SMP Imanuel Bandar Lampung, dengan nilai t hitung = 1,871 < t tabel = 2,145. 3). Latihan shooting jump shoot  menggunakan rimg modifikasi memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik daripada latihan shooting jump shoot  menggunakan ring standar untuk meningkatkan hasil shooting jump shoot  siswa kelas VII SMP Imanuel Bandar Lampung dengan nilai t hitung = 3,596 > t tabel = 2,048.Kata Kunci : bola basket, ring modifikasi, shooting jump shoot

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan menggunakan alat bantu pelampung untuk meningkatkan kemampuan renang gaya dada pada peserta bina renang AANTASENA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta bina renang AANTASENA sebanyak 20 orang. Dalam penelitian ini mengambil sampel dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling sebanyak 20 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupa renang gaya dada dengan jarak 25 meter. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pengolahan data, analisis data, dan pengujian hipotesis, maka diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa: 1) Ada pengaruh latihan menggunakan alat bantu pelampung untuk meningkatkan kemampuan renang gaya dada pada peserta bina renang AANTASENA, dengan nilai thitung = 12,515 > ttabel = 2,262, 2) ada pengaruh latihan tanpa menggunakan alat bantu pelampung untuk meningkatkan kemampuan renang gaya dada pada peserta bina renang AANTASENA, dengan nilai thitung = 1,809 < ttabel = 2,262, 3) Latihan menggunakan alat bantu pelampung lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan latihan tanpa menggunakan alat bantu pelampung dalam meningkatkan kemampuan renang gaya dada pada peserta bina renang AANTASENA. Kata Kunci: alat bantu pelampung, kecepatan, renang.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a crucial reduction in the need for physical education and interaction time in physical activity, so this has become a challenge for all teachers in schools. The aim of this research is to investigate 24-hour movement guidelines between pandemic vs. post-pandemic. The method used in this research is cross sectional with an observational approach. The total subjects in this study were 620 elementary school students with an average age of 10.87 ± 0.51 years, weight 37.12 ± 8.37 kg, and height 140.11 ± 4.73 cm. The results of the research show that after the pandemic, children's outdoor play habits and sleep duration increased sharply as time in front of the screen decreased, although they tended to be the same as conditions during the pandemic. It is hoped that these findings can be a reference for parents and teachers in schools to implement a healthy lifestyle by prioritizing physical activity compared to screen use. so that habits during the pandemic can be overcome and students can increase their level of fitness

Abstract

Extracurricular activities have an important role in developing students' potential as a whole, both from cognitive, social, and character aspects. However, differences in social conditions, facilities, and policies between schools often lead to variations in student participation rates. This study aims to describe the level of interest of class X students in participating in extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 1 Waway Karya and analyze the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that affect it. This study involved all 216 students of class X as participants with a total sampling technique. The method used is descriptive quantitative with a survey approach. The research instrument was a four-choice Likert scale closed questionnaire, which was tested for validity and reliability with very high results (r₁₁ = 0.891). The data was analyzed using a percentage descriptive technique to illustrate the tendency of students' interest in each indicator. The results showed that the overall level of student interest was in the very high category (79%), with an intrinsic factor of 80% and an extrinsic factor of 76%. The most in-demand extracurricular activity is volleyball (23%), while the least popular is vocal arts (0%). It was concluded that encouragement from within students was more dominant in influencing participation than environmental factors. This research contributes to providing empirical data for schools to develop more effective extracurricular coaching policies and strategies and becomes the basis for further research related to student motivation and performance in non-academic activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of smartphone use on the interest in participating in physical education lessons among upper grade students at SD Negeri 1 Langka Pura Kota Bandar Lampung. This study used a descriptive quantitative method with a population of 345 upper grade students, namely grades IV, V, and VI. using a random sampling technique of 10% using the Slovin formula, resulting in a sample of 78 students. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire with a Likert scale, and the data analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis of percentages. Based on the results of the simple regression test, an R Square value of 0.115 was obtained with a significance level of p = 0.002<0.05, which means that there is a significant effect between smartphone use and interest in participating in PJOK learning. This value shows that smartphone use contributes 11.5% to the variation in students' interest in participating in PJOK learning, while the rest is influenced by other factors.
