Abstract

The lack of interest in technopreneur-based entrepreneurship raises concerns about stu-dents' readiness to face the demands of an ever-changing and dynamic job market. There-fore, this research aims to understand the factors that influence interest in technopreneur-based entrepreneurship, especially students in Vocational Education related to leadership and creativity. The research method used was a survey followed by data collection through questionnaires distributed to Vocational Education students, followed by multiple regression analysis using the T test and F test to test the three proposed hypotheses. The research results show that the spirit of leadership and creativity significantly influences the entrepreneurial interest of technopreneur-based Vocational Education students. These two variables together explain most of the variation in entrepreneurial interest, with 91.4% of the variation explained by the combination of the two factors. These findings highlight the importance of developing leadership qualities and stimulating student creativity to foster interest and success in technopreneur-based entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Corn is a well-cultivated food crop that is grown extensively worldwide. The used portion of corn is its seeds, which are rich in oil. The objective of this study is to separate and characterize tocopherol from corn oil in Dompu, Sumbawa by employing spectroscopic techniques such as ultraviolet (UV) spectrophotometry, ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). Subsequently, the in-vitro antioxidant activity of the tocopherol was assessed. 1 kilogram of dry maize kernels subjected to 70% ethanol extraction yielded 30 grams (35 ml) of corn oil. The purified isolate obtained from the fractionated extract, using radial chromatography, demonstrated the presence of tocopherol. The isolated sample exhibited the presence of beta-tocopherol. Beta-tocopherol's anti-aging properties were assessed by conducting an in-vitro antioxidant activity test utilizing the tyrosinase enzyme. The IC50 value obtained was 83.954±2.849 ppm. The IC50 value indicates that beta-tocopherol possesses significant antioxidant activity, making it suitable for usage as a primary ingredient in cosmetics and pharmaceutical products.

Abstract

Solar Power Plant is a power plant by utilizing sunlight. In this study, the focus is on the use of off-grid solar power systems. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of luminous intensity, humidity, and temperature on the output voltage of a solar power plant. The research method used is experimental. The maximum output voltage of the solar panel is 19.2 V obtained at 01.00 pm. During these conditions, the luminous intensity value is 121000 lux at an air humidity of 52.4% with a temperature of 40.50C. The results showed that (1) the greater the luminous intensity, the greater the output voltage of the solar panel. (2) If the greater the humidity, the smaller the output voltage of the solar panel. (3) If the greater the temperature, the greater the output voltage of the solar panel.

Abstract

In the dynamic landscape of digitalization, the fusion of Internet of Things (IoT) tech-nology with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) has emerged as a pivotal avenue, promising enriched practical experiences and heightened comprehension. This paper navi-gates through recent studies elucidating the applications of IoT-based PLCs in diverse con-texts, from smart home automation to traffic control and resource management. Notable contributions include remote monitoring systems, smart traffic control, water level moni-toring, and automated greenhouses. Acknowledging persistent challenges in understanding and implementing PLCs, this research introduces an innovative IoT-based PLC Trainer Kit. The kit aims to elevate prac-tical learning by providing hands-on experiences, refining skills, and optimizing applica-tions across various domains. Emphasizing the pivotal role of practical training in PLC education, the study conducts a needs analysis, followed by the design, development, and testing phases of the IoT-based PLC Trainer. The prototype, employing an Omron CPM1A PLC, pneumatic components, sensors, and an intuitive interface, undergoes meticulous testing, affirming its readiness for deployment. The development of the IoT-based PLC Trainer marks a significant achievement, ad-dressing the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Through metic-ulous design, material selection, and testing, the trainer demonstrates optimal functionali-ty and user-friendliness. Anticipating its deployment in educational institutions and in-dustrial setups, the trainer is poised to contribute to the realm of industrial automation, offering a practical understanding of PLC applications within the Internet of Things con-text. This project not only signifies technical expertise but also bridges the gap between theory and practice in the dynamic domain of IoT-driven programmable logic control-lers

Abstract

This study aims to develop Electrical Machine Training Kit for electrical machine practice media in vocational education. This type of research with Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model. The background of this research is that the need for electrical machine competency, which students should have mastered, is still insufficient due to inadequate tools. Many graduates still have difficulty getting a job in the industry because competence has not been fulfilled during college. Electronic engineering vocational education is a study program that has the goal of producing superior graduates in achieve electrical machine competence and being ready to work in the industry. Electronic engineering vocational education is a new study program that is still in the development stage to achieve this goal. The media aspect obtains a minimum value of 87.5% and a maximum value of 90%. Material aspects get a value of 88.40% for suitability material and 90.2% for the quality of learning. The user feasibility test obtained a value of 89.80% in review from motivation, 88.0% in terms of convenience, and 90.3% in terms of material. It is concluded that the Electrical Machine Training Kit is included in the "very feasible" category.
