Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused various sectors to experience obstacles, one of the sectors that has been greatly affected is the world of education. The government implements policies related to education so that students learn from home by utilizing technology facilities. One of them is the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Merdeka University, Pasuruan, which must change the conventional learning system with online learning. Online learning carried out in the Management Study Program by utilizing the Google Classroom application. So the purpose of this study is to analyze the use of Google Classroom during the Covid-19 pandemic on the effectiveness of student learning. Based on the research results, perceived usefulness has a direct effect on the use of Google Classrooms, perceptions of comfort and service quality also directly affect the use of Google Classroom, while user interest has no effect on the use of Google Classroom. The indirect effect of perceived usefulness on the effectiveness of student learning through the use of Google Classroom is not supported, while perceptions of convenience, user interest and service quality on the effectiveness of student learning through the use of Google Classroom are supported.

Abstract

AbstrakDesa Kemantrenrejo Kecamatan Rejoso Kabupaten Pasuruan merupakan desa yang secara geografis sangat strategis karena terletak di jalur Pantura Surabaya–Probolinggo. Desa ini memiliki potensi yang besar, khususnya di sektor pertanian, peternakan, serta sektor informal seperti Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Namun, potensi besar tersebut belum sepenuhnya dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi Desa Kemantrenrejo saat ini adalah masih lemahnya pengembangan UMKM. Banyak pelaku UMKM yang mengalami hambatan dalam hal manajemen usaha, pemasaran produk, pengemasan, akses permodalan, hingga pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Hal ini menyebabkan daya saing produk lokal masih rendah dan belum mampu menembus pasar yang lebih luas, baik secara regional maupun digital. Berdasarkan survey lokasi yang telah kami lakukan di desa Kemntrenrejo terdapat sepuluh UMKM yang aktif melakukan kegiatan usaha. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan pelaku UMKM terkait masih lemahnya pemasaran produk mereka sehingga kami memberikan solusi dengan memebrikan pelatihan dan pendampingan digital marketing. Metode yang kami lakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu lewat strategi partisipatif dimana pelaku UMKM ikut serta secara langsung saat proses perencanaan kegiatan lewat wawancara guna mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang ada, FGD (Focus Grup Discussion), serta menetapkan keputusan tindak lanjut sebagai solusi menyelesaikan permasalahan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini kami telah membuatkan logo bagi pelaku UMKM sehingga produk mereka dapat dikenal oleh calon konsumen dan dengan pelatihan dan pendampingan digital marketing pelaku UMKM dapat memasarkan produk mereka ke marketplace shopee harapannya dengan pemasaran produk mereka ke marketplace dapat memperluas jangkauan pemasaran sehingga meningkatkan pendapatan mereka.

Abstract

The quality of school management is largely determined by the contribution of various stakeholders, particularly the school committee and the effective utilization of facilities. However, many elementary schools still face challenges in facility management and limited committee participation in managerial functions. This study aims to analyze the influence of school committee involvement and school facilities on parent satisfaction at SDN Pekuncen, Pasuruan City. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 88 parent respondents and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that both the school committee’s role and school facilities have a simultaneous and significant impact on parent satisfaction. Partially, each variable also demonstrates a positive and significant effect. These results suggest that strengthening the committee’s roles in advisory, support, liaison, and supervisory functions, alongside improving the quality and management of school facilities, can enhance parental satisfaction. The novelty of this study lies in its simultaneous examination of school committee involvement and facilities within the elementary education context, offering a new perspective on improving educational service quality in regional public schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product label perception and product quality on purchasing decisions of UMKM (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) culinary products, with trust acting as an intervening variable in Pasuruan City. The research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method to gather data from culinary product consumers. The study investigates how consumers' perceptions of product labels and the quality of culinary products influence their purchasing decisions. Furthermore, it explores the role of trust in mediating these relationships. The results of this study are expected to provide valuable insights for UMKM businesses in Pasuruan to improve their marketing strategies, product offerings, and customer engagement by focusing on enhancing product labels, product quality, and building trust with consumers.

Abstract

Social rehabilitation is a systematic effort to restore and develop the abilities of individuals experiencing social dysfunction, including in terms of social skills, so they can reintegrate effectively into society. This study aims to determine the relationship between service quality and the improvement of social skills of inmates at the Bina Karya Social Rehabilitation Unit (UPT), Warungdowo Village, Pohjentrek District, Pasuruan City. Service quality is measured through five indicators: reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and physical evidence. Meanwhile, inmates' social skills are measured based on indicators: assertive communication, conflict resolution, empathy, and adaptive behavior in groups. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive correlational approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 46 inmates as respondents. Determining the sample through special considerations, namely: Recommendations from the UPT, Health Workers, and Criteria Based on Independence in Activities. The results of the study showed a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.633 with a significance level of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a strong and significant positive relationship between service quality and inmates' social skills. Therefore, the higher the quality of service provided, the higher the inmates' social skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji sejauh mana gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan motivasi intrinsik memengaruhi kinerja karyawan di PT Bina Anugerah Inti Kimia. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan analisis regresi linier berganda sebagai metode utama pengolahan data. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh karyawan perusahaan, dengan ukuran sampel 40 responden. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel independen secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap variabel dependen, yaitu kinerja karyawan. Lebih lanjut, ketika dianalisis secara terpisah, baik kepemimpinan transformasional maupun motivasi intrinsik secara individual menunjukkan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan secara statistik terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

The Indonesian Sugar Plantation Research Center, abbreviated as P3GI, is a sugar research institution in Indonesia. Based in Pasuruan, East Java, P3GI is tasked with conducting research, producing studies on sugar and sweetener technology and products for the advancement of the sugar community, especially sugarcane farmers and sugar factories, and providing technical assistance to clients. This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and discipline on employee performance at the Indonesian Sugar Plantation Research Center (P3GI) in Pasuruan City. The research method used is quantitative. Data were collected through distributing questionnaires to respondents who are P3GI employees, using a saturated sample of 56 employees of the P3GI office in Pasuruan City. The analysis used includes research instrument testing, descriptive analysis, classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the study, the R Square value was 56.4%, which means that employee performance can be explained by 56.4% by the work environment and discipline. Work environment and discipline have a significant effect on employee performance as shown by the calculated F value of 14.39 and the F table value of 3.17 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. The work environment has a significant effect on performance as shown by the calculated T value of 3.125 which is greater than R table (2.005) and a significance value of 0.002 <0.05. Discipline has a significant effect on employee performance as shown by the calculated T value of 2.693 which is greater than T table (2.005) and a significance value of 0.009 <0.05.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) How the contribution of project-based entrepreneurship learning; (2) What is the student's entrepreneurial interest; (3) How independent are students; (4) How does project-based entrepreneurship learning affect students' entrepreneurial interest and independence. The method in this research is quantitative survey. According to the results of the study, the t-count value is 5.517 and the t-table number is 2.002, so that t-count> t-table, which means that there is a significant influence between Project-Based Learning on Entrepreneurial Interest, while the magnitude of the influence is obtained a coefficient value of 0.669 for the effect of learning. project based on entrepreneurial interest. Meanwhile, for the effect of entrepreneurship learning on student independence, the t-count is 5.993 and the t-table number is 2.002, so that t-count> t-table. This means that there is a significant influence between project-based learning on independence. There is also a coefficient value of 0.696, which means that when there is an increase in project-based learning, it will increase Independence by 0.696. Meanwhile, the correlation coefficient value is 0.618 and the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.382. This means that there is an influence between the Project-Based Learning variable on Independence of 38.2% while the remaining 61.8% is influenced by other variables that the researchers did not involve in this study.

Abstract

Berdasarkan survey lokasi yang kami lakukan bahwa Kelurahan Tambaan merupakan wilayah bagian Kota Pasuruan yang berada diwilayah pesisir dan memiliki banyak tanaman bakau (mangrove) yang dirawat serta dikelola oleh petani mangrove hal ini untuk mencegah abrasi di wilayah Kelurahan Tambaan saat air laut mengalami pasang. Selama ini tanaman mangrove di wilayah Kelurahan Tambaan belum pernah dilakukan pengolahan dan hanya dibiarkan saja karena terbatasnya pengetahuan dan belum ada bimbingan dari pihak lain. Tujuan kami melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan produk olahan mangrove ini untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat Kelurahan Tambaan dengan memanfaatkan potensi lokal sehingga dapat meningkatkan perekonomian masyrakat di wilayah Kelurahan Tambaan. Tahap analisis situasi penentuan sasaran atau target program didasarkan pada parameter pemberdayaan masyarakat pesisir di wilayah Kelurahan Tambaan Kota Pasuruan, permasalahan memiliki potensi spesifik usaha yang memungkinkan untuk dilakukan pengembangan. Sosialisasi dimaksudkan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang manfaat mangrove. Pelatihan pembuatan produk mangrove power ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan, pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat yang hadir yaitu petani mangrove, ibu-ibu kader PKK dan karang taruna dengan ikut pelatihan ini harapanya peserta yang hadir dapat mengembangkan produk mangrove powder ini sebagai kegiatan usaha. Kaji tindak partisipatif aktif yang kami laksanakan mulai dari perencanaan, implementasi maupun pengawasan. Program-program yang lebih menyentuh dan bersifat implementatif sangat dibutuhkan masyarakat sehingga hasilnya dapat dilihat secara terukur dalam rangka membangun kepercayaan masyarakat sekaligus memotivasi dan menanamkan keyakinan akan kemampuan mereka dalam mengembangankan usaha pengolahan produk berbasis mangrove lebih aman dari sisi kesehatan dan kualitas produk.

Abstract

CV. Dunia Tas Solo, perusahaan konveksi yang memproduksi tas, menghadapi masalah terkait persediaan bahan baku kain tas yaitu,  kekurangan bahan baku kain tas dan kelebihan bahan baku kain tas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengendalian persediaan bahan baku kain tas pada CV. Dunia Tas Solo dengan menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Tujuan yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya pesanan persediaan bahan baku paling ekonomis, mengetahui banyaknya frekuensi dalam satu periode pembelian bahan baku, mengetahui besranya persediaan pengaman (Safety Stock) dan mengetahui kapan waktu yang tepat untuk melakukan titik pemesanan ulang (reorder point). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah pembelian bahan baku paling ekonomis adalah 3.110 meter dengan frekuensi pemesanan sebanyak 5 kali per tahun. Persediaan pengaman ideal adalah 2.053 meter, titik pemesanan ulang sebesar 2.203 meter dan persediaan maksimum sebesar 4.354 meter.
