Abstract

Processing rice products into rice requires further processing, where the grain harvested from farmers is processed into rice. The Nagari Binaan Community Service team from Padang State University will later develop this process. Farmer groups say that the availability of continuous and cheap electricity is their obstacle in producing good and cheap rice products. Counseling and assistance in making civil buildings capture turbulence water micro-hydro power plants is a solution to partner problems offered by the community service team of the Nagari program assisted by Padang State University. The output of the Nagari Fostered Program will be used to build a 5000-watt capacity power plant, supporting the need for free and environmentally friendly electricity. This aligns with the government's renewable energy program for 2030, which aims to produce 25% of the national electricity from renewable sources. This program is planned for 3 (three) stages, where the first year is mapping and detailed engineering design in the form of reports and design drawings. The second year is in the form of civil construction, and the third year's target is the installation of electrical machines and panels for commissioning. There will be training for partners, such as farmers in Kanagarian Kamang Hilia, Agam.

Abstract

This study discusses the design and development of interactive Android-based learning media for the quantity surveying course for students in the field of building engineering education. Today's technological advancements necessitate innovation in educational media so that learning can be adapted to digital advancements and made more engaging in order for students to independently study the topic and comprehend the instructional medium. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the validity and practicality of interactive learning media based on Android in the quantitative surveying course. The DDD-E development model is used in this project's research and development (R&D) approach. Three experts validated the product, and 58 building engineering education students who did the surveying quantity course during the semester of January–June 2023 practiced their skills. According to the evaluation of interactive learning media based on Android that was done, the findings of the evaluation by material specialists were reached at 0.88 with a high validity category. The assessment of media experts obtained a score of 0.8 in the high validity category. The practicality assessment received a score of 0.80 in the high practicality category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the interactive learning media in the surveying quantity course made with the DDD-E research model can be said to be valid and practical with high categories and can be used in learning.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang ada pada elemen Dasar Konstruksi Bangunan dan Perumahan adalah media pembelajaran yang digunakan belum memadai serta belum optimalnya pemahaman peserta didk mengenai materi Dasar Konstruksi Bangunan dan Perumahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat media pembelajaran Powtoon pada elemen Dasar Konstruksi Bangunan dan Perumahan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (penelitian dan pengembangan) yang mengadaptasi model 4D, namum penelitian ini hanya sampai tahap 3D karena produk pengembangan tidak disebarkan. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket penilaian media pembelajaran untuk ahli media dan materi serta siswa. Berdasarkan penilaian produk terhadap media pembelajaran Powtoon pada elemen Dasar Konstruksi Bangunan dan Perumahanoleh ahli media dari semua aspek memperoleh penilaian sebesar 89.63% yang dikategorikan sangat valid, sedangkan penilaian ahli materi memperoleh penilaian sebesar 87.50% yang dikategorikan sangat valid. Penilaian dari 70 siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 91% yang dikategorikan sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian, maka media yang dihasilkan dinyatakan valid dan praktis sehingga media layak di gunakan dalam pembelajaran Dasar Konstruksi Bangunan dan Perumahan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas penggunaan media sosial sebagai media pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Analisis Statistik. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk membantu pengajar dan peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran baik secara daring ataupun tatap muka. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah Analisis Statistik pada semester Januari-Juni 2021 sejumlah 44 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari 4 seksi perkuliahan. Dua seksi perkuliahan akan dijadikan kelompok eksperimen, dan dua seksi perkuliahan lainnya akan menjadi kelompok kontrol. Kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen dipilih secara random. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan proses validasi instrumen efektivitas oleh validator ahli yaitu ahli materi dan ahli media. Dari kegiatan validasi tersebut diperoleh hasil validasi materi angket sebesar 87,2% dan validasi media sebesar 89%, yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa angket tersebut baik digunakan untuk memperoleh data. Hasil penilaian yang didapatkan yaitu penilaian dari aspek tampilan dengan tingkat efektivitas sebesar 82,53%, penilaian aspek isi/materi dengan tingkat efektivitas sebesar 83,72%, lalu penilaian aspek kemanfaatan dengan tingkat efektivitas 82,54% serta penilaian dari aspek bahasa dengan tingkat efektivitas sebesar 83,09%. Kemudian berdasarkan hasil penilaian dari masing-masing aspek tersebut didapatkan penilaian rata-rata tingkat efektivitas yaitu sebesar 82,97.

Abstract

Building Information Modelling (BIM) has become a major trend in the global construction industry. In Indonesia, socialization on BIM has been carried out, but its implementation has not been fully implemented. Therefore, it is necessary to study the factors that influence the application of BIM in construction projects. The purpose of this research is to identify the factors that influence the implementation of BIM in construction projects in the city of Padang, Indonesia. This research was conducted on construction service providers and used a descriptive research design with a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 28 companies with a total of 84 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. Primary data collection methods include questionnaires and interviews. The results of this study are Barrier factors and strategic factors in BIM implementation. The barrier factors in BIM implementation on construction projects according to ranking, namely (1) limited Human Resources (22%), (2) Lack of Standards and Guidelines (21%), (3) Lack of Support from Stakeholders (20%), (4) Cost (19%) and (5) Limited Infrastructure and Technology (18%). The strategic factors in BIM implementation on construction projects, according to ranking, are (1) Technical and Technology (21%), (2) Human Resources (20%), (3) Management (20%), (4) Stakeholders and Regulations (20%) and (5) Organization (19%). This study highlights the dominant factors influencing BIM implementation in the construction industry and provides valuable insights for stakeholders to enhance and accelerate BIM implementation in the region.
