Abstract

Social withdrawal in adolescence is a persistent issue that undermines peer relationships, classroom participation, and overall well-being. This study aimed to design and evaluate a culturally grounded counseling module integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques with traditional Patrol Music to reduce social withdrawal among high school students at SMAN Arjasa. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, the module was developed, validated by media and counseling experts, and tested with 60 students identified as displaying withdrawal behaviors. Data were collected through pre- and post-intervention questionnaires using the Social Withdrawal Scale (SWS), alongside fidelity and usability assessments. Results revealed a significant reduction in social withdrawal after the intervention, as indicated by Wilcoxon signed-rank test outcomes (Z = -6.074, p < 0.001), with large effect sizes. Students also reported greater comfort in group interactions and increased self-confidence during ensemble sessions. The study concludes that embedding CBT strategies within a familiar cultural medium not only enhances engagement but also accelerates cognitive and behavioral change. The findings contribute to adolescent counseling practices by demonstrating the effectiveness of culturally responsive, arts-based interventions. Practically, this module offers schools an innovative approach to character education and student well-being. Future research should replicate the intervention across diverse cultural settings, extend the intervention duration, and compare its effectiveness with digital or standard CBT-based approaches.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning model based on the cultural values of Tota’an Merpati integrated with Self-Determination Theory (SDT) to reduce amotivation among 2021 cohort students. The research employed a research and development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model and a mixed-methods design. The study involved 60 students divided into experimental and control groups. Results showed a significant decrease in amotivation scores in the experimental group (from an average of 72.3 to 55.1), while the control group remained relatively unchanged. Qualitative data supported these findings by indicating increased student autonomy, competence, and relatedness. In conclusion, integrating Tota’an Merpati cultural values with SDT effectively reduces amotivation and strengthens students’ intrinsic motivation.

Abstract

Academic anxiety is a condition when someone, especially students, feels anxious, worried, or afraid when facing assessments or learning examinations. This feeling is often accompanied by physical symptoms such as palpitations, excessive sweating, or tense muscles, and psychological symptoms such as anxiety, unable to concentrate, and fear failure. This study aims to test the effectiveness of fine arts therapy in reducing the academic anxiety of class VII students at SMP IT Grafika Pesanggaran. The research design used is pre-experimental with the one group pretest-posttest approach, involving 30 students who are chosen purposive sampling. Data were collected using academic anxiety questionnaires, unstructured interviews, and field notes. Fine art therapy is held for 6 sessions in 2 weeks, which involves activities such as free drawing, collage, and expressive paintings, which are designed to help students express their feelings creatively. The Wilcoxon test results showed a significant decrease in student academic anxiety scores, with the value of Z = -2,524 (p = 0.012), indicating the effectiveness of art therapy. Qualitative analysis also reveals positive changes in students' social and cognitive behavior after intervention. The findings of this report are expected to help suggestions for developing intervention programs available from guidance and counseling services. Abstract

Evaluation of Islamic religious education is the main basis for understanding the extent to which the goals of Islamic religious education have been achieved, as well as for identifying areas of improvement that may be needed. Evaluation of PAI learning at PGRI Argopuro Jember University also has an impact on the quality of human resources produced by educational institutions. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan montase terhadap perkembangan motoric halus anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Muslimat NU 121 Bangsalsari Jember. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pre-eksperimen dengan jenis one group pretest-postest design. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian yaitu 15 siswa kelas B. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa nilai < yaitu 277445062 < 0,338 sehingga data berdistribusi normal, uji homogenitas menunjukkan nilai < yaitu 0,339805825 < 0,402620943 yang artinya data pretest dan posttest homogen. Tekhnik analisis data yang digunkan adalah uji parametrik paired sample t test karena uji prasyarat sampel telah terpenuhi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai signifikansi 2 tailed lebih kecil dari 0,05 serta nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel yang artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kegiatan montase terhadap perkembangan motorik halus anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Muslimat NU 121 Bangsalsari Jember.

Abstract

AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan korelasi antara Islam, gender dan manajemen pemberdayaan berbasis pesantren. Kesetaraan gender tidak bertentangnan dengan islam, maka perlu melakukan pengkajian dan penginterpretasian terhadap Al-Qur’an dan Hadis seperti yang dilakukan oleh para tokoh-tokoh agama yaiitu KH Husein Muhammad, KH FAqihuddin Abdul KAdir, Dr Nur Rofiah Bil.Uzm, Prof Nina Nurmila dan tokoh feminis muslim lainnya. Pesantren NURIS sebagai lembaga pendidikan islam menerima konsep kesetaraan gender serta mengembangkannya melalui manajemen pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam berbagai bidang, agama, pendidikan, ekonomi dan sosial. Pemberdayaan masyarakat ini sebagai wahana mensehterakan umat yang sesuai ajaran islam. Manajemen pemberdayaan dibutuhkan supaya program pemberdayaan tepat sasaran, efektif dan efisien. Abstract

Students with intellectual disabilities often experience severe difficulties in public speaking, including low verbal output, limited language organization, and low self-confidence when speaking in front of others. This study aimed to describe students’ initial public speaking abilities, to portray the implementation of assertive training, and to analyze its influence on improving public speaking skills among students with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB Lentera Hati Pesanggaran. A qualitative descriptive case-study design was employed. Participants were selected purposively, and data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with students, teachers, and parents, as well as documentation. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model (data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing) with source and method triangulation to ensure trustworthiness. Results indicated that, prior to the intervention, students spoke in very low volume, produced fragmented sentences, avoided eye contact, and were reluctant to answer questions. After 6–8 sessions of structured assertive training—covering relaxation, modeling, role play, guided practice, and in vivo exercises—students showed noticeable improvements in voice audibility, clarity and length of utterances, eye contact, and willingness to respond in class. The study concludes that assertive training is a promising strategy to foster public speaking skills and self-confidence among students with intellectual disabilities. The findings imply that assertive training can be integrated into counseling services and classroom routines in special schools. Future research is recommended to involve larger samples, longer follow-up periods, and mixed-method or quasi-experimental designs to strengthen causal inferences and explore broader socio-emotional outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the miracle question technique in reducing academic procrastination among seventh-grade students at SMP IT Grafika Pesanggaran. The researcher used a quantitative experimental approach with a Single Subject Research model A-B design. The researcher selected subjects through purposive sampling, selecting students with the highest procrastination scores as determined by the questionnaire. In phase A (baseline), the researcher measured the initial conditions of procrastination behaviour. Furthermore, in phase B (intervention), the researcher provided individual counselling services using the miracle question technique. This technique is designed to help students imagine ideal future conditions, explore optimistic hopes, self-potential, and desired solutions to their problems, thereby encouraging more positive behavioural changes. The research instrument used was the Academic Procrastination Scale, which was adapted from the original model by Ferrari, Johnson, and McCown (1995). The researcher used descriptive analysis to compare academic procrastination score data from phase A (baseline) to phase B (intervention) using Microsoft Excel. The descriptive analysis showed a gradual decrease in procrastination scores from 106 (very high) to 55 (low). Thus, the miracle question technique has proven effective as a counselling strategy for helping students overcome academic procrastination.

Abstract

Regulasi emosi merupakan keterampilan penting yang mendukung kesejahteraan psikologis remaja, namun seringkali menjadi tantangan bagi siswa dengan kecenderungan introvert yang kesulitan mengekspresikan emosi secara verbal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas art drawing therapy dalam meningkatkan regulasi emosi siswa introvert. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimental one group pretest-posttest, subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII yang dipilih berdasarkan hasil inventori kepribadian introvert. Intervensi dilakukan dalam lima sesi terapi menggambar selama satu minggu, dan data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest (p < 0,05), menandakan bahwa art drawing therapy efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan regulasi emosi. Temuan ini memperkuat peran terapi seni sebagai pendekatan konseling alternatif yang humanistik dan inklusif, terutama bagi siswa yang mengalami hambatan komunikasi emosional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas teknik sosiodrama dalam mengurangi perilaku bullying verbal pada siswa kelas VII-G di SMP Negeri 1 Kalibaru. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest, melibatkan enam siswa yang teridentifikasi melakukan bullying verbal sebagai sampel. Pengukuran perilaku bullying verbal dilakukan melalui skala yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, sementara perlakuan diberikan dalam bentuk layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama selama enam sesi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test untuk menguji signifikansi perubahan skor pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor bullying verbal siswa menurun dari 84,5 menjadi 62,5, dengan semua siswa menunjukkan perbaikan perilaku, yang mengindikasikan efektivitas teknik sosiodrama dalam mengurangi bullying verbal. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengembangan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah, terutama dalam menangani masalah perilaku agresif verbal dan meningkatkan keterampilan sosial-emosional siswa.
