Abstract

ANC or anteatal care is the care of the mother and fetus during pregnancy. Currently, the proportion of maternal mortality is approximately 305 deaths per 100 thousand live births, where the largest deaths occur in hospitals, around 77% of mothers cannot be saved, one of which is because the mothers who are referred to the hospital are already in a condition of severe complications. The purpose of this study is to analyze pregnant women in the completeness of antenatal care visits in the Working Area of the Kutambaru Care Health Center, Lawe Bulan District, Southeast Aceh Regency. This type of research uses a mixed method. The population in this study was 112 respondents, the sample in the study was 53 respondents with a slovin formula with a random sampling technique for qualitative using 9 informants. The variable results entered the multivariate test because the P value was ≤ 0.25. The results of the Multivariate analysis showed significant values and the variables of Exp(B) were, Knowledge (0.015) Exp(B) (3.572), Education (0.001) Exp(B) (0.007), Attitude (0.018) Exp(B) (1.398), Parity (0.009) Exp(B) (1,786), Income (0.000) Exp(B) (0.008), Distance (0.001) Exp(B) (1,904), Maternal Health (0.005) Exp(B) (1,556), Health Worker Support (0.001) Exp(B) (2,387). Results of Qualitative Data Analysis with Data Reduction, Data Display and Conclusion Drawing/Verification.From the results of in-depth interviews, it was found that there was an influence on the completeness of the ANC visit with factors of knowledge, education, attitude, parity, income, distance, maternal health and support of health workers. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between knowledge, education, attitude, parity, income, distance, maternal health and health worker support for the completeness of ANC visits, the knowledge factor is the most dominant influencing ANC examination in pregnant women with an Exp(B) value of 3.572. It is hoped that health workers at the Kutambaru Health Center will be more routine in delivering health education to pregnant women about the importance of ANC examinations.

Abstract

The low implementation of germas has a great impact on public health, namely the increase in the number of diseases in the elderly. This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of Germas on the health of the elderly in the working area of the Berohol Tebing Tinggi Health Center.This study uses a type of quantitative research analytical survey with a cross sectional study design. The location of this research was carried out in the working area of the Berohol Tebing Tinggi Health Center. The research population is all elderly people who visit and actively participate in the Germas activity program in the work area of the Berohol Tebing Tinggi health center as many as 216 people. The number of samples in this study is 68 people. The technique used is purposive sampling. The survey data was analyzed using the chi-square test and logistics regression. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of physical activity on the health of the elderly, there was an influence of fruit and vegetable consumption culture on the health of the elderly who followed the implementation of Germas in the work area of the Berohol Health Center, there was an effect of smoking on the health of the elderly, there was an effect of not consuming alcoholic beverages on the health of the elderly, there was an effect of conducting periodic health checks on the health of the elderly, there was an effect of maintaining environmental cleanliness on the health of the elderly. health of the elderly who follow the implementation of Germas in the work area of the Brohol Tebing Tinggi Health Center, there is an influence of using latrines on the health of the elderly. The variable that most affects the health of the elderly who follow the implementation of Germas in the work area of the Brohol Tebing Tinggi health center is the variable of conducting periodic health checks. Based on the results of the research, it is suggested that the health center be more aggressive in promoting Germas activities and improving health services specifically for the elderly as well as providing input and improvement of the Germas program.

Abstract

Background: Stuntingis a condition of failure to thrive in children under five years old (babies under five years) resulting from chronic malnutrition so that the child is too short for his age. Stunting has the potential to slow down brain development, with long-term impacts in the form of mental retardation, low learning ability, and the risk of developing chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the factors that influence stunting in toddlers in the UPTD Puskemas Deleng Pokhisen Aceh Tenggara. Research Method: This research uses quantitative methods with a cross sectional design and sampling using total sampling. The population and research sample were 210 respondents, namely mothers who had stunted toddlers. This research uses a questionnaire. The research time is June - July 2024. This research analysis uses Univariate, Bivariate and Multivariate. The statistical tests used are the chi-square test and logistic regression. Research Results: Research results regarding the influence of maternal height p value= 0.006, history of diarrheal disease p value= 0.049, family income p value= 0.003, diet p value= 0.001 with stunting in toddlers. Based on the results of the logistic regression test, the most influential variable was a history of diarrhea with an Exp(B) value of 2.769. Conclusion: The conclusion in this study is that there is an influence on maternal height, history of diarrhea, family income, and eating patterns on stunting among toddlers in the UPTD Puskemas Deleng Pokhisen Aceh Tenggara. In order to reduce the prevalence of stunting in toddlers, it is hoped that the Health Service, Community Health Centers, especially health workers, will collaborate to increase health promotion about stunting, the risk of diarrheal disease due to stunting, the benefits of family income and the importance of a good diet for toddlers.

Abstract

Clinical health services as one of the service fields that play an important role. Based on the results of interviews with 15 patients, it was shown that all patients were still dissatisfied with the services provided so that they were not interested in making a follow-up visit. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of service quality on outpatient revisit interest. The research design used in this study is an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was 252 patients and the sample taken by Purposive sampling was 155 people. The data collection methods are primary data, secondary data and tertiary data. The data analysis used is a logistic binary regression test. The results showed that the profession had a sig-p value of 0.000 < 0.05, safety sig-p 0.002 < 0.05, satisfaction sig-p 0.003 < 0.05, and sig-p facilities 0.000 < 0.05 which means that it has an influence on the interest of patient revisit. The efficiency variable has a sig-p value of 0.158 > 0.05, which means that efficiency has no effect on the patient's interest in revisiting. The conclusion in this study is that there is an influence of professionalism, safety, satisfaction and facilities on the interest of outpatient return visits, while efficiency has no effect on the interest of outpatient return visits. Suggestions for clinics are expected to be a reference to better understand the importance of service quality in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health in order to improve the health services provided to patients to the maximum.

Abstract

The cumulative number of ODHIV (People with HIV) in Indonesia based on SIHA (HIV AIDS Information System) data reported as of March 2022 is 329,581 people. At the Teladan Medan Health Center, the number of HIV cases has increased every year. Where from 2019 to 2021 HIV cases at the Teladan Health Center reached 600 people who had routinely received ARV therapy and in 2023 there was an increase of 290 people to 890 people who had routinely received ARV therapy. Sexually transmitted infections, family history of diseases, socioeconomic circumstances, blood transfusions, homosexuality, heterosexuality are risk factors that affect the incidence of HIV. The researcher's goal is to find out the risk factors that affect HIV cases at the 2023 Medan City Health Center. Methods: Using observational analytical methods using a Case Control research design. The sample amounted to 148 respondents, 74 case groups and 74 control groups were taken by consecutive sampling. Data analysis was carried out univariate, bivariate and multivariate with logistic regression tests. The results of the study on the analysis of the bivariate test with chi-square showed factors that affected the incidence of HIV, namely the history of sexually transmitted infections p = 0.034, family disease history p = 0.021, socioeconomic status p = 0.045, drug p = 0.042, blood transfusion p = 0.024, homosexual p = 0.014, and heterosexual p = 0.029 against the incidence of HIV at the 2023 Medan City Teladan Health Center. Meanwhile, the multivariate test found that the most influential factor with the incidence of HIV was more than one sex habit variable (p= 0.001; Exp(B) 3,920). Conclusion The dominant risk factor affecting the incidence of HIV cases at the Medan City Health Center is the habit of having more than one. suggestions to improve promotive preventive services about the dangers of HIV, the factors that cause HIV, and create a culture of loyalty to couples and also demonstrate the issue of the dangers of HIV both among the community and students.

Abstract

Posyandu (Integrated Service Post) for the Elderly is a community resource health service (UKBM) forum to serve the elderly population, whose formation and implementation process is carried out by the community together with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), across government and non-government sectors, the private sector, social organizations and others, with an emphasis on health services on promotive and preventive efforts. The purpose of the study is to find out the factors that affect the utilization of elderly posyandu in the Working Area of the Glugur Darat Health Center, East Medan District, Medan City. The research design uses the Analytical Survey method with a Cross Sectional approach. The population in this study is all elderly as many as 11,050 people. The sample was 99 with stratified random sampling. Data analysis uses univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The results of logistic regression showed that there was an influence of knowledge p = 0.008, perception p = 0.006, distance p = 0.003 and family support p = 0.002, while what did not have an influence was the attitude and support of health workers towards the utilization of posyandu for the elderly in the Working Area of Glugur Darat Health Center, East Medan District, Medan City, the dominant factor was family support p = 0.000 Exp (B) 41,303 with 95% CI = 5,389-316,539. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of knowledge, perception, distance and family support on the utilization of elderly posyandu in the Working Area of the Glugur Darat Health Center, East Medan District, Medan City. It is recommended to the Glugur Darat Health Center to further increase its participation in providing training to health workers and be able to promote the use of elderly posbindu and it is better for Door To Door health workers to provide counseling on the use of elderly posbindu.

Abstract

Anxiety or anxiety of pregnant women who will face the process of labor is one of the problems of emotional disorders that are often encountered. Preliminary data from researchers showed that the baby birth rate reached 185 births in February-April 2024. There were 721 registered pregnant women doing Antenatal Care (ANC). Objective research to analyze the factors that influence anxiety facing labor in third trimester pregnant women at Elpi Al-Azis Labuhanbatu Hospital. The research design used Analytical Survey method with Cross Sectional approach. The population in this study were all pregnant women pregnant women at Elpi Al-Azis Labuhanbatu Hospital, namely 90 people who were all made into research samples with accidental sampling techniques. Data analysis using univariate analysis, bivariate with chi-square test and multivariate with logistic regression. The results of logistic regression research showed that there was an effect of maternal pregnancy examination history p = 0.004 and husband support p = 0.000. While the dominant factor influencing anxiety facing labor labor period in third trimester pregnant women, namely husband support p = 0.001 with Exp(B) 241.660. Conclusion the conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of maternal age, gravida, history of prenatal check-ups and husband support. husband. The dominant factor, namely husband's support, influences anxiety in facing labor in third trimester pregnant women at Elpi Al-Azis Labuhanbatu Hospital. Abstract

Dental and oral health has an effect on improving the quality of life and productivity of human resources. RSGM Soelastri is one of the dental and oral health service facilities. The condition of visits of inpatients and new emergency room patients in 2024 has fluctuated and is below the target. This can result in a decrease in hospital revenue and can have an impact on the disruption of hospital operational activities, so that the services provided to patients are not optimal. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a review of the marketing strategy of RSGM Soelastri. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of marketing strategies at Soelastri Dental and Oral Hospital. This research uses a qualitative method, through in-depth interview techniques. Data sources are obtained from primary data and secondary data. There were 14 informants, divided into 8 main informants and 6 supporting informants. Data analysis by checking the results of the research with different data collection techniques, namely interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study are known that RSGM Soelastri has carried out segmentation, targeting and market positioning. RSGM Soelastri has carried out promotional activities such as counseling, but it has not been maximized. Promotion has not reached all levels of society. The types of services offered are complete. Service rates are able to compete with other hospitals. RSGM Soelastri includes staff in various types of training, but it is still limited. The tools used are modern, but there are some computer devices and radiology printers that are no longer efficient for service. There are limited human resources and financial constraints. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of marketing strategies consisting of market segmentation, target market, positioning, and market surveys has been carried out, but not optimally. The implementation of the 7P Marketing Mix at RSGM Soelastri has been carried out, but it has not been maximized. The implementation of marketing strategies is constrained by budgets and human resources. It is suggested for other researchers, it is necessary to conduct research on marketing strategies in more depth by looking at the promotion mix of inpatient and emergency room services as one of the services that support the number of patient visits at RSGM Soelastri.

Abstract

Sexually transmitted infections are still a serious problem in public health due to their impact on morbidity and mortality. Indonesia, as a developing country, also faces challenges in adolescent reproductive health, especially with the high prevalence of STIs among adolescents and young adults. The spread of this disease is still high due to a lack of knowledge and education in the field of reproductive health, as well as the influence of the environment and friends. Reproductive health education is one of the strategies that can be used to reduce risk and can help adolescents improve their knowledge and good attitudes in dealing with PIMS. The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is an educational effect of reproductive health on adolescent behavior in sexually transmitted diseases at SMA Negeri 1 Bandar. The research design uses a quasi-experimental model with a pretest-posttest control group design. The data was analyzed using the non-parametric statistical test Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test to compare the differences. The location is at SMA Negeri 1 Bandar with a sample of all female students totaling 70 people. The results of the study showed that there were significant differences before and after education. Where in the group that was educated, a significance value (p) of 0.000 was obtained less than ɑ 0.05, so that Ho was accepted "there is an effect after the implementation of reproductive health education on the knowledge, attitudes and actions of adolescents. Then the results of the study showed that there was no significant difference in knowledge, attitudes and actions in the group that was not given reproductive health education, where in the group that was not given education, a significance value (p) of 0.317 was obtained greater than ɑ 0.05, so Ho was rejected "there was no effect after the implementation of reproductive health education on the knowledge, attitudes and actions of adolescents" in the group that was not educated. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of reproductive health education on the behavior of adolescents with sexually transmitted infectious diseases at SMA Negeri 1 Bandar. It is hoped to continue to maintain this health education as one of the promotive efforts by increasing cooperation through cross-sectors in community health centers.

Abstract

The study purpose was to analyze the influence of human resource management (HRM) strategies on nurse performance at Bunda Thamrin General Hospital in Medan. As nurses play a critical role in healthcare delivery, their performance is essential for service quality and patient satisfaction. This study specifically examined the impact of recruitment and selection, training and development, and organizational commitment on the work performance of nurses. The research was conducted in response to ongoing challenges in staff absenteeism, complaints from patients, and underperformance despite structured HR policies. Materials and methods. The study employed a quantitative approach using a cross-sectional survey design. A total of 70 nurses were selected through stratified random sampling from different hospital units. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 26. Descriptive statistics were used to describe participant demographics, while Pearson correlation and multiple linear regression analyses were employed to examine the relationship between HRM variables and nurse performance. Ethical approval was obtained, and participation was voluntary and confidential. Results. The findings revealed a positive and statistically significant correlation between HRM strategies and nurse performance. Among the HRM components, training and development had the highest influence (r = 0.684, p < 0.01), followed by organizational commitment and recruitment. Regression analysis indicated that HRM strategies accounted for 54.8% of the variance in nurse performance (Adjusted R² = 0.548). Conclusions. Human resource management strategies, particularly training, recruitment, and organizational commitment, significantly affect nurse performance. Hospitals should strengthen these strategies to improve service delivery and staff productivity.
