Abstract

Family Planning (KB) policy aims to control population growth by reducing birth rates. However, many women experience difficulty in choosing the appropriate type of contraception. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence women of childbearing age (WUS) in choosing a long-term contraceptive method (MKJP). The design of this research is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. The sample for this research was 95 WUS mothers who were selected by accidental sampling. Data was collected through primary and secondary data and analyzed using the binary logistic regression test. The research results show that knowledge, attitudes, husband's support, and socio-cultural factors have a significant influence on the selection of MKJP. However, the role of health workers does not have a significant influence. This research concludes that knowledge, attitudes, husband's support, and socio-cultural factors influence the selection of MKJP, while the role of health workers has no influence. It is hoped that these results can serve as a guide for family planning service officers to improve WUS knowledge and attitudes and provide comprehensive contraception.

Abstract

Patient behavior as consumers in utilizing health services, including the decision to seek re-treatment, is influenced by several factors such as the quality of doctor/nurse services, distance, facilities, and speed of service. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence patients' decisions to utilize health services for repeat treatment. The research method used was quantitative with a cross-sectional design, carried out at the Putri Hijau Level II Hospital in Medan. A sample of 247 people was selected using the accidental sampling method from a population of 3,946 people. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate chi-square, and multivariate approaches with multiple logistic regression at a 95% confidence level. The research results show that the quality of doctor/nurse services, distance, facilities, and speed of service have a significant influence on the patient's decision to seek treatment again. Meanwhile, factors such as age, gender, education, and employment do not have a significant effect. The most dominant factor is facilities, where respondents who feel that hospital facilities are good have a higher chance of undergoing repeat treatment. This research concludes that factors such as the quality of doctor/nurse services, distance, facilities, and speed of service have a significant influence on patients' decisions in utilizing health services for re-treatment at Putri Hijau Level II Hospital in Medan. It is recommended that the hospital allocate a budget to improve facilities that are still lacking and improve new service facilities to increase public confidence in seeking treatment again.

The results of the logistic regression test show that the variables responsiveness (p=0.025), reliability (p=0.050), guarantee (p=0.150), concern (p=0.042), and physical evidence (p=0.073) influence patient satisfaction. The most influential variable is a concern with an Exp (B) value of 4.781. This research concludes that there is a positive influence between responsiveness and caring on patient satisfaction, while reliability, guarantee, and physical evidence do not have a significant influence. Abstract

Chronic energy deficiency (CED) in pregnant women is a condition of insufficient protein and energy intake which can cause health problems for the mother and fetus. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the occurrence of CED in pregnant women. An analytical survey method with a cross-sectional approach was used by collecting primary data through questionnaires and secondary data from Community Health Center reports. The research was conducted at the Tanjung Unggat Community Health Center, Tanjungpinang City in December 2023 with a sample of 51 pregnant women selected using the Total Sampling method. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate (chi-square test), and multivariate (logistic regression) analysis. The results of the analysis show that maternal age, education, employment, parity, knowledge, Body Mass Index (BMI), and hemoglobin (Hb) levels have a significant relationship with the occurrence of CED. The Hb variable has the greatest influence on KEK with an Exp (B) value of 15,098. This study concludes that there is no effect of age and education on CED, while employment, parity, knowledge, BMI, and Hb are related to the incidence of CED in pregnant women. Abstract

Planning of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices and BMHP (Medical Consumables) is the initial stage to determine the type and amount of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices and BMHP that suit needs. Procurement is an activity to realize planned and approved needs, through the purchase, production/manufacture of pharmaceutical preparations, and donations/dropping grants. This type of research uses research Descriptive Qualitative With research methods aim to make a picture or description of a situation objectively. This research was conducted using a semi-structured interview method that was included in the category Indepth Interview Namely free interviews so that the implementation is wider when compared to structured interviews. This research was conducted at RSU Muhammadiyah North Sumatra in December 2023. Based on the results of research on drug planning and procurement at the Muhammadiyah Hospital in North Sumatra using the consumption method carried out based on sales patterns or depleted stocks in pharmaceutical warehouses. The distribution of drugs from pharmaceutical warehouses to pharmaceutical installations is often delayed so that pharmaceutical services to patients are disrupted and cause patients to wait a long time. The obstacles seen in drug procurement are still not optimal, this is because there are empty and slow-moving drugs. The conclusion in this study is the planning and procurement of drug availability at the Muhammadiyah Hospital North Sumatra in improving the pharmaceutical service system to be better, planning is carried out to avoid drug buildup and expiration. ABC method analysis should be applied so that the data is more accurate, not only using the consumption method.
