Abstract

Family harmony is a state where family members are united, each member fulfills their rights and obligations, affection is fostered, and mutual understanding, dialogue, and cooperation are well established, resulting in physical and spiritual well-being. This study aims to understand communication patterns in creating a harmonious household, analyze communication aspects influencing household harmony, and identify obstacles in creating a harmonious household. This research uses qualitative methods, where the researcher comprehensively examines the facts in the field according to the focus of the problem. The data obtained is then analyzed, presented, and discussed. Accurate and reliable data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that (1) communication patterns that can create household harmony include interpersonal communication, mutual trust and understanding, direct communication, and gentle communication; (2) communication aspects affecting household harmony include communication patterns and adjustments, the busyness of both spouses, financial issues, poor parenting, and lack of mutual trust. On the other hand, poor and ineffective communication results in household disharmony, as communication within the household is the main element for expressing all household life issues, and everything must be communicated openly and transparently. (3) obstacles to creating a harmonious household include poor communication, family aspects, economic aspects, infidelity, and lack of cooperation in nurturing, caring for, and guiding children. The responsibility for children is entirely handed over to the wife. At the same time, the husband only focuses on earning a living, thinking he must provide financially without assisting with household affairs. However, in maintaining a household, cooperation in all matters is essential.

Abstract

Allah created human beings with religious instincts, namely the religion of monotheism (Islam). The Koran claims that the religious teachings it introduces are compatible with all humans. Islam as a truth, then Islam must be spread throughout the world and this is the responsibility of every human being on this earth as a caliph. Every Muslim, of course, has an obligation to propagate the da'wah of Islam, even though they experience various kinds of obstacles and obstacles. This certainly applies to Muslims who are in Australia with a Muslim population in Australia currently around one million people. With this quantity of Muslim citizens in Australia, Islamic da'wah is needed to transfer the spread of the values of Islamic da'wah to all Muslims. One way is by establishing Islamic-based educational institutions. At present, the Islamic Council in Australia is intensively building educational facilities based on Islamic education, with the aim of making it easier for them to transfer Islamic knowledge to the Islamic community in Australia. Spreading Islamic da'wah in the current era is full of challenges, especially spreading Islamic da'wah in Muslim minority countries such as Australia. Australia is a country that has a broad geographical position, and upholds the values of freedom, in that case the Australian government guarantees plurality. In the midst of Australia's position that promotes freedom, Islam must be able to place itself in the midst of society and also practice the teachings of Islam in a pluralistic society. Australia has approximately 100 beliefs/religions, with Islam as a minority religion, so the challenge of Islamic da'wah is to keep on doing good communication and living side by side with the differences. Keywords: Community, Da'wah and Muslim.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in Indonesia plays a very important role in the formation of character and religious values for students. This study aims to analyze the differences in Islamic education models at public and private universities. With a qualitative approach, this research collects data through interviews, observations, and document studies at several universities in Indonesia. The research results show significant differences between public and private universities in terms of curriculum, teaching methods, and learning outcomes. In public universities, the curriculum is more focused on the development of academic knowledge integrated with religious values, whereas in private universities, the Islamic education approach tends to emphasize strengthening religious practices and the spiritual character of students. The teaching methods at public universities tend to use a more theoretical approach, while private universities often employ practical approaches and interactive discussions. The learning outcomes also show differences in the reinforcement of religious understanding and the implementation of Islamic values in daily life. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of Islamic education in Indonesia by adapting educational models that align with the needs and characteristics of students in each type of higher education institution.

Abstract

The increase of children as Napza users in Aceh is a new problem for all parents. There are two main problems in this study, namely the pattern of coaching drug-addicted children in LPKA and Darussaadah Aceh Social Institution. This study is about the pattern of special guidance provided for children who abuse drugs in Aceh children's special development institutions and child rehabilitation institutions. This research is a combination of normative and empirical research. The results of this study show that LPKA carries out guidance in general. There is no difference between children assisted by drug cases and those with other cases. Meanwhile, in LRSAMP Darussa'adah social care institution, regular psychological guidance is carried out to rehab children addicted to drugs, like other children in Darussa'adah. The obstacle faced by LPKA-Aceh is the absence of SOP for special guidance for drug abuse from the Ministry of Human Rights. LPKA is not a place for rehabilitation of children of drug abuse, so these children are guided the same as other foster children. In LPKA, children of drug abuse are united with other foster children due to limited space. While the absence of a standard guidebook as a model for rehabilitation of children who abuse drugs is one of LRSAMP's challenges. The organization cannot move forward without referrals from the work area below, a lack of volunteer human resources, and the absence of parents of children who want to rehabilitate their child's self-abuse of drugs.

Abstract

Dayah as traditional Islamic educational institutions in Aceh play a crucial role in preserving classical Islamic scholarship (turath). Facing contemporary challenges in education quality assurance, the Aceh Government through the Dayah Accreditation Board of Aceh (BADA) has established accreditation standards as a curriculum development framework. This study aims to analyze BADA standard-based curriculum innovation strategies in dayah and their impact on improving education quality. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research was conducted through document analysis of accreditation materials, in-depth interviews with 25 informants (consisting of dayah leaders, teachers, and senior students), and participant observation in five accredited dayah with different rankings (excellent, good, and fair). The findings reveal that BADA standards emphasize three main aspects: (1) availability of written curriculum documents, (2) integration of turath with contemporary competencies such as digital literacy and civic education, and (3) implementation of structured competency-based learning. Several identified curriculum innovations include the development of outcome-based curriculum frameworks, hybrid syllabi combining classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning) with 21st-century skills, and portfolio-based assessment systems. Accreditation data shows that dayah implementing comprehensive innovations achieved 15-20% improvement in curriculum-related accreditation scores. Furthermore, 80% of respondents reported increased community trust in dayah education quality post-accreditation. This study concludes that the BADA standard-based curriculum innovation model successfully creates synergy between preserving traditional values and meeting modern education quality standards. To ensure innovation sustainability, the study recommends three strategic policies: hybrid curriculum development training for teachers, regular mentoring programs by BADA, and special funding allocation for learning innovations. These findings significantly contribute to developing Islamic education curriculum theory that responds to quality demands while maintaining its traditional roots.ABSTRAKDayah sebagai institusi pendidikan Islam tradisional di Aceh memiliki peran krusial dalam menjaga kelestarian khazanah keilmuan klasik (turats).
