Keywords: Fasilitator; Penyuluhan; Peran Suami; PersalinanKnowledge Efforts Through Release About The Importance Of Husband Role As A Facilitator In Preparing The Labor ProcessAbstractSince 1999 to 2000 the Indonesian government had launched the Husband Alert program which aimed to increase the participation of husbands. Another program that has been launched by the Government of Indonesia is the "Making Pregnancy Safer" where it is expected that the participation, knowledge and involvement of the husband can increase during the birth process (MOH RI, 2012). But until now there are still many husbands who do not understand their role well. So it is necessary to make efforts to increase knowledge through counseling about the importance of the husband's role as a facilitator in the preparation of the labor process. Counseling about the importance of the husband's role as a facilitator in the preparation of the birth process is done by the lecture method using leaflet props. Evaluation was carried out before and after the provision of counseling material (pre and post test). Counseling was carried out for 15 days from 1 to 15 June 2018 to 28 husbands who took mothers to carry out ANC examinations. The results of the post-test showed 78.6% experienced an increase in knowledge about the importance of the husband's role as a facilitator while the other 21.4% did not experience an increase in knowledge about the importance of the husband's role as a facilitator. Increased knowledge about the importance of the husband's role as a facilitator in the preparation of the birth process is influenced by several factors. One of them is the age factor and level of education. Recommendations for clinics that handle childbirth, it should always be included in the provision of counseling preparation for childbirth by explaining the role that must be done so that mothers and husbands are more ready to face the labor process. Keywords: Counseling; Childbirth; Facilitator; Role of Husband.

Early Warning Score (EWS) is an early warning system starting from early detection, making decisions before the patient experiences an emergency condition. The parameters in the EWS method are level of consciousness, respiration or exhalation, oxygen saturation, supplemental oxygen, temperature, pulse rate, and systolic blood pressure. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between knowledge level and nurse compliance of nurses in carrying out early warning score at BIMC Hospital Kuta. The EWS assessment is supported by nurses’ education level and work experience. This study used a cross-sectional approach correlation design with a total sampling technique of 58 nurses. In this study, it was found that the good knowledge level of nurses at BIMC Hospital Kuta was 86.2%, while the compliance level of nurses in carrying out the early warning score was found that the nurses obeyed in carrying out an early warning score of 86.2%. Data processing used the chi square statistical test. The results of the statistical test p value 0.000, which showed that there was a significant correlation between knowledge level and nurse compliance in carrying out the early warning score and r value = -0.619.

The high mortality rate in hospital is a sign of service quality problems. Therefore, strategies are needed to reduce the death rate, one of them is by detecting the emergence of patients before worsening by applying the Early Warning Scoring System (EWSS), according to the age group. Adult Early Warning Score (AEWS) is a score monitoring tool to identify changes in the condition of adult patients (?15 years) using physiological parameters. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using AEWS on mortality rates. This study used a quantitative approach with one group pre-post-test design. The sampling technique was non probability sampling with a total sampling method. Data was analyzed by paired t-test. The results showed that the mortality rate before using AEWS belonged to the low category with the number of gross deaths 8.8 per 1000 inpatient visit or as many as 21 respondents, while the mortality rate after using AEWS was included in the low category with the number of crude deaths 3.2 per 1000 inpatient visit or as many as 12 respondents. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that p-value = 0.001 (p ? 0.05). These results indicated that there was an effect of using adult early warning scoring (AEWS) on mortality rates in Bali Mandara Hospital.

Background and purpose: Disaster preparedness is crucial for health workers in order to provide relief to communities affected by disasters quickly and precisely. However currently there are only few health workers who are prepared to face disasters. This study aims to determine the association between knowledge in disaster management, perception of disaster preparedness, participation in training and experience in disaster management with disaster preparedness in health workers. Methods: A cross sectional survey was conducted among health workers at Petang and Abiansemal public health centres (PHCs). Of the six PHCs in Petang and Abiansemal Sub-districts, four were randomly selected consisting of one PHC in Petang Sub-district and three PHCs in Abiansemal Sub-district. All health workers (271 people) in the four PHCs were selected as respondents. Individual face-to-face interviews were conducted by the first author during April 2018 in the workplaces of each respondent using a pre-tested questionnaire. Data collected consisted of socio-demographic characteristics, knowledge in disaster management, perceptions of disaster preparedness, participation in training, experiences in disaster management and disaster preparedness. Questions consisted of three components namely knowledge in disaster management (12 items), perception of disaster preparedness (32 items) and disaster preparedness (25 items). Bivariate analysis was conducted with chi square test and multivariate analysis with binary logistic regression to determine the association between knowledge, perception, participation in training and experience in disaster management with disaster preparedness. Results: The results showed that 70.9% of respondents had attended disaster training, 40.6% had good knowledge, 24.7% had participated in disaster management and 49.1% had a high level of disaster preparedness. The variables significantly associated with disaster preparedness were perceptions of disaster preparedness (AOR=6.40; 95%CI: 3.71-10.99) and participation in disaster training (AOR=2.68; 95%CI: 1.44-4.97). Conclusion: Disaster preparedness among PHC health workers remains low. Perception of disaster preparedness and participation in training are significantly associated with disaster preparedness. Continuous training is needed to increase disaster preparedness among health workers.
