Abstract

This research aims to describe: The government's handling of out-of-school children in Makassar City. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. The subject of this research is the head of the Makassar City education department, while the object of this research is the government's handling of out-of-school children by the Makassar City education department. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation and documentation data procedures. Techniques used in data analysis are data collection, data reduction, data presentation. The triangulation used is to explain the validity of the data using source triangulation and technical triangulation. Based on the research results, it shows that the government's role in dealing with out-of-school children includes government management and government efforts in dealing with out-of-school children in the city of Makassar. As we know, the condition of children who have dropped out of school really needs education and motivation. So that from these results they have knowledge about education and skills.

Abstract

Abstrak – Media pembelajaran menarik menjadi satu daya tarik dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini. Penggunaan media dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi guru Pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) dalam menyampaikan materi yang akan diberikan pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan penelitian pengembangan dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran. Media yang dikembangkan adalah modul pembelajaran keaksaraan segitiga A-I-U bagi anak usia dini di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar. Pengembangan media ini dilakukan untuk pengenalan keaksaraan awal, dengan menggunakan model penelitian Research and Development (R & D). Tahapan penelitian R & D mencakup potensi masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, produk, uji coba produk skala kecil, uji coba skala besar dan produksi massal. Pada penelitian ini tidak semua tahapan dilaksanakan mengingat keterbatasan waktu dan biaya sehingga penelitian hanya sampai tahap validasi kelayakan dan revisi desain menjadi produk akhir. Kelayakan produk pelatihan modul pembelajaran keaksaraan segitiga A-I-U divalidasi oleh ahli dan penilaian dari pengguna dalam hal ini guru PAUD. Berdasarkan analisa data, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran keaksaraan segitiga A-I-U cukup layak untuk  dijadikan media. Nilai Hasil rerata validasi menunjukkan 3,25 dari skala 5 yang artinya  cukup layak. Kata kunci: Pengembangan model, Pembelajaran keaksaraan, Segitiga AIU, Anak Usia Dini, Bahasa Ibu.

Abstract

This study attempts to describe how students view the use of Google Meet during the English language learning process. State University of Makassar was the site of this study. Student participants in this study were those attending State University of Makassar. Interviews were used by the researcher as a data collection tool. Based on the study's findings, the researchers discovered that students have both good and negative attitudes on using Google Meet for video conferencing during the learning process. Students' good attitudes can be seen in their readiness to participate in video conferences, enthusiasm for a variety of movements, development of their skills in using the learning tools, and respect and appreciation for others' abilities and disabilities. While the negative attitude was the students don’t attend the class and not participate the group project as well, and also if they cannot speak as well during video conferencing, they wouldn’t participate the class, they decided to keep silent and do not follow the instruction from the lecturer.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study which aims to determine the influence of tutors' social competence on the learning participation of Package C students at UPT SPNF SKB Lasinrang, Pinrang Regency. The independent variable in this research is social competence, while the dependent variable in this research is learning participation. The sample from this research was 51 people. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and documentation methods. The techniques used in data analysis are descriptive frequency, data normality, and simple linear regression. The research results show that: (1) the social competence of tutors at UPT SPNF SKB Lasinrang is in the quite good category with a score of 74%. (2) Learning participation is in the good category with a score of 76%. (3) there is a significant or real influence between the influence of the tutor's social competence on the learning participation of package C students at UPT SPNF SKB Lasinrang, Pinrang Regency. So at UPT SPNF SKB Lasinrang we must further improve the social competence of tutors so that students can participate in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstrak. Dalam era digital saat ini, desain grafis memainkan peran penting dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, mulai dari komunikasi visual dalam dunia bisnis, pendidikan, hingga media sosial. Desain grafis yang menarik tidak hanya menjadi alat untuk menyampaikan informasi secara efektif tetapi juga merupakan sarana untuk membangun identitas dan daya tarik visual. Teknologi mobile telah mempermudah akses terhadap perangkat dan aplikasi desain grafis, sehingga siapa pun, termasuk siswa SMA, dapat menciptakan karya desain yang profesional dengan hanya menggunakan ponsel atau tablet. Pelatihan desain grafis berbasis mobile memberikan keterampilan yang relevan di abad ke-21, memungkinkan siswa memanfaatkan perangkat yang mereka miliki untuk berkreasi secara produktif. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk memberikan pemahaman menyeluruh kepada siswa tentang konsep dasar desain grafis dan penerapannya. Mereka tidak hanya belajar teori, seperti prinsip komposisi, penggunaan warna, dan tipografi, tetapi juga mendapatkan pengalaman langsung menggunakan aplikasi seperti Canva dan Snapseed. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Setelah pelatihan, siswa berhasil mencapai beberapa hasil signifikan, yaitu: (1) pemahaman yang mendalam tentang prinsip-prinsip desain grafis, seperti keseimbangan, hierarki visual, dan pemilihan elemen desain yang tepat; (2) kemampuan teknis dalam menggunakan aplikasi desain berbasis mobile untuk menciptakan berbagai karya visual; serta (3) keterampilan dalam mengembangkan kreativitas dan menyelesaikan proyek desain yang relevan dengan kebutuhan sehari-hari. Melalui pelatihan ini, siswa tidak hanya belajar keterampilan praktis tetapi juga memahami potensi desain grafis sebagai aset penting dalam dunia digital yang terus berkembang.  Kata Kunci: Desain Grafis Berbasis Mobile, Pelatihan Kreativitas Siswa

Abstract

The use of technology-based interactive teaching materials that are appropriate and easy to understand will help students understand the learning material, including students in non-formal education units. The main problem faced by partners is the low ability of tutors in non-formal education units to use technology-based teaching materials or interactive modules that can support the learning process to run smoothly and effectively and can improve learning outcomes to be more optimal in accordance with the era of digital technology use. This community service aims to introduce and create technology-based teaching materials or interactive modules using the Canva application for tutors at the Majena Regency Non-formal Education Unit, West Sulawesi. To achieve this goal, assistance is provided in creating interactive teaching materials using the Canva application, using lecture, discussion and practice methods. By implementing this PKM, tutors can increase their understanding and ability to create and use technology-based interactive teaching materials.

Abstract

Ketika musim durian tiba, harga durian menjadi sangat murah karena jumlahnya yang melimpah. Namun karena bersifat musiman, masyarakat hanya dapat mengandalkan hasil penjualannya ketika musim durian tiba, dan ketika musim durian berlalu masyarakat sama sekali tidak dapat memanfaatkannya sebagai sumber penghasilan, padahal penggemarnya sangat banyak. Tujuan dilaksanakanya kegiatan PkM ini adalah untuk memberdayakan masyarakat petani durian melalui Teknik pemasaran yang tepat dari hasil olahan durian. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PkM ini adalah melalui Teknik penyuluhan dan praktek langsung pada masyarakat terutama bagaimana mengolah durian yang dapat tahan lama dan Teknik pemasaran yang efektif. Hasil kegiatan ini dapat terlihat dari antusias peserta dan pengetahuan dan ketermpilan yang diperoleh peserta. Ketika praktik berlangsung peserta sudah dapat mengemas dengan benar dan dapat menyebutkan cara pemasaran yang efektif yang dapat menjangkau masyarakat luas.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out (1) how teacher leadership develops students' disciplined character through learning in the laboratory, (2) how teacher leadership develops students' creative character through learning in the laboratory. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, namely to understand the meaning behind visible learning activities, to understand the interaction of teachers and students, to understand the feelings of teachers and students, to develop theories, and to ensure the truth of the data. Data was collected using observation study methods, interviews, and subsequent documentation, the data is analyzed using structured steps, namely reducing the data, exposing/presenting the data, drawing conclusions. The results of this research are: (1) the form of teacher leadership in learning in the laboratory to develop students' disciplined character can be seen from the methods of habituation, example, telling stories, and discussions used by laboratory teachers; (2) the form of teacher leadership in learning in the laboratory to develop students' creative character can be seen from the methods of habituation, example, telling stories, discussions and simulations used by laboratory teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this qualitative study is to analyze the implementation of the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) during the post-COVID-19 economic recovery period. PKH is a national conditional cash transfer program aimed at supporting extremely poor households. This study is guided by the principles of adaptive social protection, namely: 1) Promoting coordination among social protection institutions and disaster management stakeholders; 2) Ensuring that the scale of the program can respond to extreme situations; 3) Targeting the most vulnerable groups affected by disasters; 4) Designing programs that strengthen the adaptive capacities of households and communities; and 5) Ensuring rapid program response in specific situations, including pandemic-related crises. Informants in this study include program beneficiaries, program facilitators, the PKH coordinator in Gorontalo City, and representatives from the Social Welfare Office. The study examines the delivery mechanism of PKH assistance through in-depth interviews. The findings reveal that: 1) The cash transfer delivery mechanism improved, changing from a quarterly to a bimonthly schedule. This was intended to provide better financial security for beneficiaries in light of increasing economic pressure; 2) The types of services provided were expanded, from previously non-cash assistance to include Non-Cash Food Assistance and Socio-Economic Empowerment Programs; 3) The program coverage was broadened to reach more beneficiaries. Despite these positive changes, problems with targeting in the forms of exclusion and inclusion errors remain exist and this can have impact on the effectiveness of the program.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan masalah serius dalam dunia pendidikan dan perkembangan anak, yang dapat berdampak jangka panjang terhadap kondisi emosional, sosial, dan akademik korban. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi parenting para ibu melalui kegiatan penyuluhan sebagai upaya preventif terhadap tindakan bullying. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang melibatkan para ibu dalam setiap tahap penyuluhan, mulai dari identifikasi masalah hingga evaluasi. Materi penyuluhan mencakup pengertian bullying, dampaknya terhadap perkembangan anak, pentingnya pola asuh positif, dan peran strategis ibu dalam mencegah bullying. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta, yang ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan skor post-test dari 58 menjadi 82. Selain itu, diskusi interaktif memperlihatkan kesadaran yang tinggi akan pentingnya peran ibu dalam membentuk karakter anak sejak dini. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa edukasi parenting efektif dalam menumbuhkan pemahaman dan keterampilan praktis ibu untuk menciptakan lingkungan keluarga yang aman, suportif, dan bebas bullying.
