Abstract

AbstractBased on data released by the Central Statistics Agency for Aceh Province in 2021, it stated that Aceh Province was the poorest province on the island of Sumatra, one of the triggers was the high open unemployment rate which reached 6.30% in mid-February 2021, one of the methods used to solve the problem. Problems with this high unemployment rate, the Aceh Government took the initiative in 2019 to start an acceleration program for the process of absorbing skill workers through domestic apprenticeship programs and workplace training placed by partner companies with the Aceh Province Manpower and Population Mobility Office for 3-5 months. The purpose of this study is to trace the effectiveness of labor absorption through this program, which has been carried out by the Aceh government from 2019 to 2021. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of skilled workforce recruitment after the implementation of domestic apprenticeship programs and workplace training is 68%. in 2020 and 78% in 2021. This percentage can be categorized as an effective program. Keywords:Apprenticeship; Labor; Aceh Government; Skills;__________________________ AbstrakBerdasarkan data yang dirilis oleh Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Aceh pada tahun 2021 menyebutkan Provinsi Aceh menjadi provinsi termiskin di Pulau Sumatera, salah satu pemicunya adalah tingginya angka tingkat pengangguran terbuka yang mencapai 6,30% pada medio februari 2021, salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tingginya angka penggangguran ini, Pemerintah Aceh berinisiatif pada tahun 2019 mulai membuat program akselerasi untuk proses penyerapan tenaga kerja skill melalui program pemagangan dalam negeri dan workplace training yang ditempatkan perusahaan mitra kerjasama Dinas Tenaga Kerja Dan Mobilitas Penduduk Provinsi Aceh selama 3-5 bulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penyerapan tenaga kerja melalui program ini, yang sudah dilakukan oleh pemerintah Aceh dari tahun 2019 sampai dengan 2021. Hasil dari kajian ini menunjukkan besaran persentase perekrutan tenaga kerja skill setelah pelaksanaan program pemagangan dalam negeri dan workplace training sebesar 68% pada tahun 2020 dan 78% pada tahun 2021. Besaran persentase ini dapat dikategorikan program berjalan secara efektif. Kata Kunci:Pemagangan; Tenaga Kerja; Pemerintah Aceh; Skill; Workplace Training.

Abstract

The production processesof electronics parts faced with many constraints such as: shape, size, type, material, length, width, and height of enclosure and customized electronics module. Therefore, rapid production method is applied as the solution to hasten it.Rapid production method applied in this research consists of some variations of process, among of them; PDS(parametric drawing system), laser cutting machine, CNC PCB Router machine. PDS is used for processing enclosure design in which user interface PDS is assembled with VBA (visual Basic for Application) in CorelDraw X6.The advantage of PDS is the speed of drawing process is shorter than non-parametric. Laser cutting machine is used for processing enclosure production. CNC PCB router is used for processing of electronics circuits PCB production. The implementation results from laser cutting machine in acrylic materials with width 8 mm, are obtained with the speed 2 mm/s to 8 mm/s, and power 60 % to 90 %, while the implementation result from CNC PCB router for process of marking, routing, drilling, contouring in PCB FR4 materials is 1.55 mm in ± 11 minutes.

Abstract

Kesadaran tentang pentingnya penerapan Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) khususnya untuk usaha kecil dan menengah yang bergerak di bidang fabrikasi dan pengelasan logam masih tergolong rendah. Sehingga potensi terjadi kecelakaan akibat kerja ini sangat besar yang mempengaruhi produktivitas juru las, berdasarkan kondisi diatas perlu dilakukan update serta pemberian pelatihan pemahaman tentang kepedulian penerapan K3 dalam lingkungan kerja untuk keselamatan juru las itu sendiri, kegiatan ini diisi tentang pemberian informasi tentang potensi-potensi kecelakaan yang muncul, serta pemahaman tentang regulasi serta pencegahan penyakit akibat kerja kepada juru las pada bengkel las CV. Alfazil Jaya, Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat yaitu meningkatnya kemampuan juru las dalam mengidentifikasi potensi-potensi bahaya terjadinya kecelakaan akibat kerja dan praktek implementasi k3 dalam proses pengerjaan pengelasan dan fabrikasi logam. Keberlanjutan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu perlunya pengawasan internal dari bengkel las CV. Alfazil Jaya terhadap implentasi penerapan K3 oleh juru las dalam proses fabrikasi untuk mencapai posisi zero accident pada setiap kegiatan.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penggunaan aplikasi perkantoran oleh lulusan Sekolah Menengah Atas dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Provinsi Banda Aceh. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di gedung Politeknik Aceh dengan peserta sebanyak 20 orang. Mekanisme pelaksanaan kegiatan ini diawali dengan teori sebagai dasar fundamental yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan berupa praktek langsung disertai dengan suatu contoh kasus yang harus diselesaikan oleh para peserta pelatihan. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini peserta mendapatkan informasi evaluasi hasil tentang perkembangan skill penggunaan aplikasi perkantoran. Hal ini dapat dijadikan sebagai pondasi awal dalam meningkatkan kemampuan ke tingkat lebih mahir sebagai salah satu keterampilan yang wajib dimiliki dalam menghadapi persaingan dunia kerja.

Abstract

As time goes by, learning media in educational institutions need to be innovated according to industry demand through curriculum development mechanisms. One of the learning media that will be developed is the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) which will interact in the PLC course. HMI is a device that connects humans with working machines displaying visualization of input output equipment connected to a PLC. This research aims to create a PLC HMI-based goods counter conveyor simulation as a learning medium in the Aceh Polytechnic Mechatronics Study Program. The results obtained were that learning media was successfully created with PLC and HMI indications that could communicate to simulate goods counting conveyors. In this module there is an average delay of 2 seconds which is caused by the unresponsive response of the HMI touchscreen. However, overall this module is quite reliable and has been applied to increase competency in PLC courses.

Abstract

The reverse engineering process in development is widely used to carry out the reverse engineering process for the design of certain products, in this study the reverse engineering process on the palm oil lorry wheel is to improve the design as well as a combination of materials to increase the life of the lorry wheel product in the palm oil processing. The process of scanning the surface of the lorry wheel using camera and the reverse engineering process is carried out by measuring the precision of the lorry wheel by measuring using a precision measuring instrument, data obtained by measurement and reconstruction model. data obtained by measurement and reconstruction model using CAD software and CAE software used to analyze the CAD and CAE software are used to analyze the design results after the reverse engineering process. reverse engineering process. Abstract

This study focuses on power optimization of worker servers by applying live migration techniques for virtual machines (VMs) using the Mamdani fuzzy logic method. The main goal is to automatically move VMs to servers with lower CPU usage, thereby reducing overall power consumption. The system was built using the Proxmox VE platform and simulated for 30 minutes under two conditions: without and with Mamdani fuzzy logic. The results show that the use of fuzzy Mamdani reduces power consumption by 0.26 watts compared to the non-migration system. Although the savings may seem minor, the method is effective when applied at a larger data center scale. This technique enables efficient workload distribution by migrating VMs, allowing idle servers to reduce energy usage. In conclusion, Mamdani fuzzy logic offers a practical solution for energy-saving in cloud computing environments without compromising system performance.

Abstract

Permesinan menggunakan mesin CNC merupakan merupakan salah satu metode dalam peningkatan efisiensi dan produktivitas permesinan. khususnya dalam pembuatan produk Teaching Aids di BBPPMPV Bidang Bangunan dan Listrik, namun hal ini perlu ditingkatkan untuk efisiensi bahan dan proses permesinannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses pemesinan yang sesuai dalam pembuatan S-Slot pada baja karbon AISI 1045 menggunakan perintah Contour dan perintah Pocket agar proses permesinannya optimal berdasarkan data perbandingan nilai software CAM dengan nilai aktual pada mesin Milling CNC 3 Axis GUT TE1060. Dari Hasil Penelitian ini didapatkan hasil bahwa Kombinasi perintah pocket yang optimal pada proses pembuatan S-slot menggunakan mesin CNC Frais 3 axis pada material AISI 1045 menggunakan end mill HSS diameter 4 mm untuk meminimalkan kekasaran permukaan dan Waktu pengerjaan aktual memberikan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kekasaran permukaan S-Slot, hal ini ditunjukkan waktu actual dari perintah contour dengan waktu total 10m7s . Sedangkan waktu actual dari perintah pocket memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kekasaran permukaan, hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata Ra perintah pocket lebih kecil dari nilai rata-rata Ra perintah Contour.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of social media, social factors, and consumer psychology on the decision to participate in the boycott movement against McDonald’s (McD) products in Semarang City. A quantitative method was employed, utilizing purposive sampling to select 163 respondents who met the criteria: prior purchase of McD products, awareness of the boycott issue, active social media usage, Islamic religious affiliation, and residency in Semarang. Data were collected through Linkert-scale questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS. The results indicate significant influences from all three factors: social media, social factors, and consumer psychology. The coefficient of determination reveals that 32% of the variation in boycott decisions is attributed to these factors. These findings underscore the critical integration of digital, social, and moral dimensions in understanding the dynamics of ideologically driven boycott movements. Practical implications include recommendations for companies to develop crisis communication strategies aligned with local values and consumer ethics to mitigate boycott impacts.

Abstract

This study evaluates the water availability potential of the Jamblang Weir and recommends an optimal cropping pattern for the Jamblang Irrigation Area in Cirebon Regency, West Java. The hydrological analysis used long-term rainfall data and applied the Blaney-Criddle method to estimate crop evapotranspiration, combined with Q80 dependable discharge estimation using the Weibull formula and a comprehensive water balance assessment. Irrigation water requirements were calculated for rice and secondary crops (palawija), considering irrigation efficiency and seasonal planting periods. The dependable discharge (Q80) is a critical metric in irrigation planning, helping to align water availability with crop demand. This study found the dependable flow to be 0.794 m³/s, while peak irrigation demand reached 1.917 m³/s—indicating adequate capacity for intensive cropping. A proposed rice–rice–palawija rotation enables a cropping intensity (CI) of 240%, exceeding national benchmarks and aligning with FAO (2017) efficiency standards for tropical irrigation. By integrating dependable flow, crop water demand, and irrigation efficiency, the study offers a replicable model for adaptive irrigation management. The results highlight the Jamblang Weir’s capacity to support sustainable agriculture even under seasonal climate and discharge variability. This research contributes a technical foundation for developing water-efficient, climate-resilient cropping strategies in weir-dependent irrigation systems.
