Abstract

The management of uniforms at Pondok Pesantren Anwarul Hasaniyyah (ANWAHA) is an integral part of the disciplinary system and the reinforcement of students' identity. This study discusses three main aspects of uniform management: uniform regulations and standards, distribution and management systems, and their impact on students' discipline and identity. The uniform regulations at ANWAHA are designed to reflect Islamic values and instill the habit of dressing neatly and modestly. The distribution and management system is implemented in a structured manner, covering procurement, distribution, and maintenance processes to ensure uniformity and availability of clothing for all students. Additionally, regular supervision is conducted to ensure compliance with the established rules. The implementation of this uniform management system contributes to shaping students' discipline and strengthening the sense of unity and identity within the pesantren. With strict regulations, an efficient distribution system, and periodic evaluations, uniforms serve not only as formal attire but also as a medium for character education that upholds pesantren values.

Abstract

Anchored by the interview analysis, the present study explored students’ perceptions of blended learning enactment in Indonesian science classrooms. Data were garnered through questionnaires and semi-structured interviews focusing on students' perceptions of the benefits and challenges of adopting Blended Learning in science classes. Findings suggest that the benefits geared by blended learning in science classes include training students’ learning independence, increasing students’ understanding of science and technology, increasing students’ learning effectiveness, and providing students with a variety of learning experiences. Meanwhile, the challenges depicted in blended learning include practicum activities, internet problems, and economic condition. This study pictured blended learning as an alternative learning method for teachers and students.

Abstract

Neuroscience-based learning is a field of neuroscience study that focuses on studying educational concepts from the perspective of the brain's working system. It turns out that teachers and parents still rarely pay attention to this field of study, which has led to the emergence of a learning atmosphere that is passive and not optimal in stimulating nerve cells in the human brain. The results of initial observations carried out on 22-28 April 2021 on high school teachers and students in Tenggarong (SMA Negeri 1 Tenggarong, SMA Negeri 2 Tenggarong, SMA Negeri 3 Tenggarong) showed that there were still many (85%) It was found that teachers still relied on verbal language, image/animation media, PowerPoint and only a few (15%) were varied in their use of biology learning media, although based on interviews they said they understood audio, visual and audiovisual media well enough. Likewise with learning with neuroscience-based media, from the interview results, generally (85%) were not familiar with biology learning with neuroscience-based media and only a few (15%) were familiar with and had implemented it in biology learning. The same thing applies to students' cognitive learning outcomes from interviews that I found that students' abilities were generally moderate and low. This is because students think that biology is a rote subject and are less motivated when learning. This research method is Research and Development (R&D) Sivasailam Thiagarajan. The main objective of this development research method is to produce products and determine the feasibility of products developed in the form of neuroscience-based learning videos which are limited to the circulatory system. The research subjects included four validator experts, namely media experts, materials experts, language experts and learning tools experts. Class XI students as the research sample consisted of two classes, namely the control class and the experimental class. The results of the research show that the validity of learning media is in the valid category (79.95%), the practicality of learning media is in the very good category (83.37%), and also the effectiveness of neuroscience-based learning media in providing a high increase in learning motivation (Gain score = 0 .73) and t test analysis (t count < 0.05) via the SPSS application.

Abstract

This study aims to improve Modules for science subject with the Computer-Based Test Assessment in order to train students’ critical thinking on one of science topics which is human’s respiratory system using ADDIE model. This model of research is the development research level 3. The data were collected by involving expert’s validation, observation, test, and questionnaire. The results showed that: the module validity result in terms of module itself was 93.75% with a very valid category. The validity in terms of language and material were 88.77% and 99.54% respectively, while the results by the Computer-Based Test application were 97%. The module’s practical results assessed by questionnaires were 89.41% and it means this module is highly practical to be used. The results of the module’s efficacy in terms of normality, the n-gain of all classes in pre-test and post-test’s sig value > 0.05, therefore the data was distributed normally. The results of paired sample t-test indicate that there is a noticeable difference on the average of pre-test and post-test results in the experimental group. Hence, the science module with Computer-Based Test is effective to be utilized as learning materials that can increase students’ critical thinking skills at schools.

Abstract

This study aims to develop e-module teaching materials that can be used by teachers and students both in school and outside school by developing one of the Plip Pdf Professional applications as an innovation media in a fun learning process. The type of research used is research and development (R&D). The sample in this study were biology teachers and students of SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda and SMA Negeri 11 Samarinda. The results of the expert validation of the teaching materials produced were very good with an average score of 3 validators of 91.33% with the category (very valid). The practicality of the teaching materials assessment from the teacher showed a result of 95.31% (very practical), while the assessment from students got a score of 89.06% (very practical). The effectiveness of the teaching materials produced was able to provide an increase in cognitive learning outcomes with a gain score index of 0.83 (high) and the percentage value of students' critical thinking skills was 88.8%. The results of the effectiveness test using the paired sample t-test showed that there was an influence of the use of e-module teaching materials based on the Plip Pdf Professional application in improving the biology learning outcomes of students at SMA Negeri 5 and SMA Negeri 11 Samarinda on the Human Respiratory System material.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to promote harmony between religious communities through a moderate approach and ensure that all citizens can carry out their worship in accordance with their beliefs. This research was carried out in accordance with the PAR (Participatory Action Research) Method as an approach to developing as many control substances as possible by the village. The method used includes a field survey to identify the needs and preferences of religious communities in Tura village regarding worship facilities. After conducting a survey and obtaining data on the condition of Tura village, there is an urgent need to do this, namely developing an attitude of caring between religious communities in society. With this survey, a superior program was produced that focuses on religious moderation, namely by implementing a superior program in the form of providing a special prayer hall for Kaharingan Hindu believers. The program to provide special prayer halls for Hindu Kaharingan religious communities can also be a forum for developing solutions to support diversity and social harmony in the archipelago. In this superior program, the idea of ​​providing a hall for the Kaharingan Hindu community was implemented by utilizing the Tura village meeting hall which had not been used for a long time. The meeting hall then evolved to involve village officials, youth organizations and religious leaders.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kombinasi ekstrak daun langsat (Lansium domesticum) dan daun mimba (Azadirachta indica A. Juss) terhadap intensitas serangan serangga hama pada tanaman sawi hijau (Brassica juncea L.), serta menentukan konsentrasi yang paling efektif. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan lima perlakuan (kontrol, konsentrasi 15%, 30%, 45%, dan 60%) masing-masing lima ulangan, sehingga total terdapat 125 tanaman sampel. Aplikasi pestisida nabati dilakukan mulai umur tanaman 7 hari dan diulang dua kali seminggu. Data intensitas serangan hama dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA, dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) pada taraf 1%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kombinasi ekstrak daun langsat dan daun mimba berpengaruh nyata terhadap penurunan intensitas serangan hama pada semua waktu pengamatan. Konsentrasi 60% menghasilkan penurunan intensitas serangan paling signifikan dibandingkan perlakuan lain, dengan rata-rata intensitas serangan pada kategori ringan. Disimpulkan bahwa kombinasi ekstrak daun langsat dan daun mimba berpotensi sebagai pestisida nabati efektif dan ramah lingkungan dalam mengendalikan hama pada tanaman sawi hijau.

Abstract

This study aims to develop STEM-based E-LKPD to improve environmental literacy and critical thinking skills of eighth grade junior high school students on respiratory system content, with a context of solving air pollution problems caused by waste burning in Samarinda. The background of this study is the low ability of students to relate scientific concepts to local environmental issues and their weak critical thinking and environmental literacy skills in biology learning. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with Thiagarajan's 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) model. Experts validated the product in subject matter, media, and language, and its practicality was tested through a student response questionnaire. The effectiveness test was conducted using a pretest-posttest control group quasi-experimental design in four public junior high schools in Samarinda (SMPN 1, 7, 19, and 26). The expert validation results showed that the product was highly valid with an average percentage of 91.66%. The practicality test resulted in a very practical category at the dissemination stage (average score of 3.5–3.7). The effectiveness test proved that the experimental group using STEM-based E-LKPD experienced a significantly higher increase in environmental literacy and critical thinking skills compared to the control group, with a medium-high N-Gain category (0.4–0.8) and statistical significance of p < 0.05. These findings suggest that anchoring STEM learning in the tangible, local issue of air pollution in Samarinda effectively bridges the gap between abstract scientific concepts and real-world application, thereby fostering deeper environmental literacy and critical thinking. The study concludes that the developed STEM-based E-LKPD is a feasible, practical, and innovative medium aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Abstract

The livestock subsector is vital to Indonesia’s economy, supporting food security, employment, and rural livelihoods. Farmers’ terms of trade and agricultural business terms of trade are key welfare indicators, yet their short-run dynamics in the livestock subsector remain underexplored. This study examines short-run interactions and forecasts the dynamics of livestock farmers’ welfare and business conditions using a Vector Autoregressive (VAR) framework. Monthly data for 2019 to 2024, totaling 72 data were obtained from BPS (Badan Pusat Statistik)-Statistics. The analysis includes stationarity testing, lag selection, Granger causality, impulse response functions, variance decomposition, and one-year-ahead forecasting. The results indicate no long-run cointegration between the two indicators, implying the absence of a stable equilibrium relationship. However, strong short-run dynamics are observed: farmers’ terms of trade respond persistently to their own past values, while changes in agricultural business terms of trade exert negative and significant effects. Causality tests confirm a unidirectional relationship from agricultural business conditions to farmers’ welfare. Forecasts suggest modest improvements of about 2 to 3 percent in early 2025, which gradually taper later in the year. These findings suggest that stabilizing input costs is central to strengthening livestock farmers’ resilience.
