Abstract

Kusan Hilir Sub-district is one of the coastal sub-districts in Tanah Bumbu Regency where most of the people work as fishermen.  Fish caught by fishermen that do not have high selling value such as otek fish or manyung fish, and tembang fish or sardinella fish are often thrown into the sea so that they can pollute marine waters. The remaining fish or fish that are wasted have organic value, both organic-N, organic-P, and organic-K. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of using otek fish bokashi, firewood husks, and subsoil soil on the growing power of trambesi plants and determine the best composition of fish bokashi produced based on biomass in plants. The research was carried out using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with 6 treatments and 5 replications with 3 plants and placed randomly by doing random numbers in the excel application with the treatment code P0 100% subsoil soil, 0% fish bokashi, 0% burnt husk, P1 subsoil 90%, fish bokashi 5%, burnt husk 5%, P2 subsoil 80%, fish bokashi 10%, burnt husk 10%, P3 subsoil 70%, fish bokashi 15%, burnt husk 15%, P4 subsoil 60%, fish bokashi 20%, burnt husk 20%, and P5 soil 50%, fish bokashi 25%, burnt husk 25%. Data analysis used in this study used the Anova test followed by the DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) test. The results of observations or weighing on the wet weight and dry weight of plant biomass show that the treatment with the composition of 50% soil planting media, 25% fish bokashi, 25% burnt husk with an average wet weight of 174.44g and a dry weight of 88.64g has a very significant effect on 90 day trambesi seedlings, although the treatment with the composition of 90% subsoil soil planting media, 5% fish bokashi, 5% burnt husk, and the composition of 80% subsoil soil planting media, 10% fish bokashi, 10% burnt husk is not significantly different.

Abstract

Waste management in Palangka Raya City is in the Km Landfill. 14. The landfill is divided into 2 activities, namely waste management and leachate management installation. The waste management system is a method applied at the end point of waste processing. Waste collected at the landfill arrives at the landfill. The purpose of this study is to analyze waste generation, waste composition, and waste sources, analyze whether the waste management method affects the quality of leachate water and groundwater of the surrounding residents, and analyze the pollution index in the groundwater of the surrounding residents. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method by analyzing leachate and groundwater samples examined at the regional health laboratory. The results of these samples will be compared with leachate water quality standards, groundwater quality standards for sanitary hygiene purposes, and groundwater pollution index tests. The quality of leachate is unaffected by the operational method of waste processing. All leachate water samples for the parameters TSS and Cadmium are below the quality standard for final waste processing, except for the TSS value at station St2, this is because the wastewater is still in the waste pile area and has not yet entered the leachate management installation pond. The results of groundwater sample tests in several residents' homes for the pH parameter are below the quality standard. The pollution index results show that the water used daily is categorized as lightly polluted.

Abstract

The Banjar district government has provided assistance to livestock communities and slaughterhouses to develop this biogas in order to reduce the impact of environmental pollution. The success of this development may depend on the perception of the farming community. Based on this, the aim of this research is to analyze and formulate a biogas development strategy and analyze public perceptions regarding the development of biogas technology from cow manure in Banjar Regency. This research was carried out in Banjar Regency with 4 (four) observation locations, namely Martapura Kota, Pengaron, Sungai Pinang and Mataraman Districts. This research was carried out with a SWOT analysis to find a suitable development strategy for biogas development in Banjar Regency and used descriptive analysis to explain the perceptions of the livestock farming community and non-breeding community towards the technology. biogas in Banjar Regency. Results show that 69.5% of both livestock and non-livestock communities strongly agree that untreated cow dung causes environmental pollution and disease. Additionally, 54.5% support converting manure into biogas, and 65% acknowledge the limited processing of biogas. The SWOT analysis places biogas development in quadrant I, indicating that the strategy should leverage Strengths to capitalize on opportunities (S-O). The recommended approach involves using the ample cattle population to reduce pollution and leveraging government support to enhance biogas facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

As a province rich in natural resources, especially mining products, South Kalimantan (South Kalimantan) is also not free from problems in the environmental sector. The massive mining activity in the province of South Kalimantan has caused environmental damage and loss of land cover in South Kalimantan. This happened because 41 percent of the Meratus forest and other forests in South Kalimantan were already burdened with mining permits. Efforts to balance the use of natural resources and the environment are through spatial planning based on the achievement of environmental function sustainability. The purpose of this study is to analyze the suitability of the RTRW, analyze the factors that influence the suitability of the RTRW, and analyze how big the positive and negative impacts of the suitability of the RTRW are. This research was conducted by making a land use map that aims to see how the situation is in the field and compare it with a planning map using a Geographic Information System. The results of the comparison of the planning map and the conditions in the field show the suitability of land use. The results obtained using Tapin's RTRWK in IUP MINERBA are 15.22%, which means that the implementation of space utilization is not appropriate. The influencing factors are the development of settlements which are increasing every year very rapidly due to the increasing population. The positive impact is that the companies have helped to repair village roads that are used by the community to reduce the number of unemployed, increase regional income levels, and improve the economic welfare of the surrounding community. The negative impact is environmental damage and social conflict in the community, increasing the vulnerability to traffic accidents due to increased road users.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the characteristics of the liquid sludge produced in IPA 1 A unit Yani PTAM Bandarmasih and analyze the effect of different doses of anionic polymer flocculants on the parameters of the quality standards of the Minister of Health Number 32 of 2017 for sanitary hygiene. This research was carried out using the experimental design experimental method in the Design Randomized Group consisting of 6 (six) treatments. Analysis of the data used includes identifying the characteristics of liquid sludge in situ. Analyzing the effect of different doses of anionic polymer by testing the jar test method with several combination treatments of anionic polymer flocculants on the decrease in parameters according to Permenkes Number 32 of 2017 will be analyzed using analysis of variance. Multiple regression equations to provide information about the relationship between the dependent variable and one or more independent variables used in the study. From the results of the study of Anionic Polymer Flocculants Using the Jar Test Method for Utilizing Liquid Sludge of PT Air Drinking Bandarmasih (Perseroda) it can be concluded that 1) Liquid sludge of PTAM Bandarmasih which has not been managed is still not suitable for sanitation hygiene water because there are several parameters whose values have not been meet the quality standards of Permenkes No. 32 of 2017, 2) After the addition of anionic polymer flocculants, the value of all parameters decreased, but what met the overall quality standard was a dose of 10 ppm.

Abstract

The tourism potential of Bukit Mamake has increased with community participation and support from the Head of the South Kalimantan Forestry Service and the Regent of Kotabaru. This study aims to analyze the potential of Bukit Mamake ecotourism as a tourism destination and develop strategies in the development of Bukit Mamake ecotourism. The data obtained includes primary data from observation results, questionnaires, and interviews, as well as secondary data from research supporting information. The assessment uses the Guidelines for the Analysis of Areas of Operation of Natural Tourism Objects and Attractions (ADO-ODTWA) of the Director General of PHKA 2003, analyzed according to the screening criteria. Evaluation of the elements and sub-elements of each ODTWA criterion is used to classify the feasibility level of ODTWA potential for development. Data from potential tourist attractions are then assessed with a SWOT approach. Assessment followed ADO-ODTWA guidelines, with a score of 4.495 indicating average conditions and management. SWOT analysis placed Bukit Mamake in Quadrant 1 (positive; positive) with an aggressive strategy, highlighting its potential as a leading destination. Strategies include local government support for promotion, and collaboration to enhance community welfare through ticket revenue sharing, local employment, and business opportunities at the site.

Abstract

Medicinal plants are plants that are used as traditional medicine by the people of Bali. These plants in the yard of the house are either planted intentionally or grow wild. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out the types of plants that exist in the yard of the house and are used as traditional medicine by the Balinese people. This research is descriptive qualitative with a snowball sampling technique. The results showed that there were 20 types of plants used for traditional medicine by the Balinese, such as Averrhoa bilimbi Linn., Pluchea indica L., Hylocereus polyrhizus, Kalanchoe pinnata (Lam.) Pers, Acorus calamus L., Psidium guajava L., Sauropus androgynus ( L.) Merr, Cocos nucifera L., Ocimum sanctum L., Orthosiphon aristatus, Curcuma domestica Val.,Morinda citrifolia L., Ananas comosus L., Impatiens balsamina L., Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb., Carica papaya L., Cymbopogon citratus Stapf, Piper betle L., Saccharum officinarum Linn., and Curcuma xanthorrizha Roxb. The parts of the plant that are used the most are the leaves, rhizomes, fruit, flowers and roots.Keywords: Balinese People, Ethnobotany, Medicinal PlantsAbstrakTumbuhan obat merupakan tumbuhan yang digunakan sebagai obat tradisional oleh masyarakat Bali. Tanaman yang ada di pekarangan rumah ini baik ditanam secara sengaja maupun tumbuh liar. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis tumbuhan yang ada di pekarangan rumah dan digunakan sebagai obat tradisional oleh masyarakat Bali. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik snowball sampling. Abstract

Salah satu faktor penting dalam meningkatkan performa dan produktivitas ternak adalah ketersediaan pakan berkualitas yang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisi ternak secara efisien. Selain itu, penggunaan feed supplement dan feed additive telah terbukti mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pakan, memperbaiki performa pertumbuhan, serta menjaga kesehatan ternak. Tujuan PKM ini adalah untuk memberdayakan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kelompok ternak dalam teknis pemeliharaan ternak dengan menggunakan imbuhan pakan, baik feed additive maupun feed supplemen dan meningkatkan kemampuan pengelolaan unit usaha ternak kambing potong. Metode Pelaksanaan Pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan metode  Presentasi: Materi disampaikan oleh narasumber yang ahli di bidang nutrisi ternak. Diskusi : Peserta berpartisipasi aktif dalam sesi tanya jawab dan diskusi kelompok. Praktek Lapangan : Peserta melakukan praktik langsung dalam pemilihan dan penambahan suplemen serta imbuhan pakan ke dalam pakan ternak sedangkan kegiatan awal dilakukan FGD dengan Kelompok. Hasil kegiatan PKm menunjukkan bahwa peternak memahami manfaat imbuhan pakan, seperti enzim, probiotik, dan antioksidan, yang dapat meningkatkan daya cerna, menjaga kesehatan usus, dan meningkatkan kekebalan ternak dan mampu membuat ransum pakan yang seimbang. Disimpulkan bahwa  penggunaan imbuhan pakan  dalam pakan ternak harus terus dipahami oleh peternak Key word : enzim, feed supplement, feed additive.probiotik
