Abstract

This study aims to describe the numeracy literacy ability of inclusive students in solving story problems. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were inclusive students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Hikmah who were in high class as many as 2 students. Data collection techniques used in this research are technical tests and non-tests. The test technique uses an instrument of description questions to see the numeracy literacy abilities of inclusive students in the form of story questions about simple arithmetic operations. Then the non-test technique used interviews with inclusive teachers and students who were used as research subjects. The data analysis technique uses triangulation techniques, namely the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the numeracy literacy ability of inclusive students is still said to be below. Subject A's responses to the questions are 1) subject A can use contextual understanding to solve mathematical problems but is still not correct in solving them; 2) unable to write the conclusion of the settlement, and 3) subject A has not been able to relate various representations when solving problems. Meanwhile, subject B's response to the question is: 1) can write the process in reaching a solution, but it is not complete and not correct; 2) have also been able to write the conclusions of mathematical results based on the results obtained based on the written completion process but the answers given are not correct, and 3) have been able to use contextual understanding to solve mathematical problems but it is not correct.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in mathematics learning motivation of class VA students at SDN 7 Cakranegara using the project based learning model. This research includes collaborative PTK research with a descriptive quantitative approach. This research was carried out in stages in two cycles. The subjects of this research are all VA class students at SDN 7 Cakranegara for the 2022/2023 academic year. The data collection methods used were observation and questionnaires. Data from motivation to learn mathematics in the form of pretest and posttest, then calculations were carried out on the results of the questionnaire. The learning motivation data was then analyzed to see improvements in the pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. Increased learning motivation from the results of the pretest or pre-cycle with 17 children in the low category, 5 children each in the moderate and high categories. Then it increased until cycle II, namely that there were no students with low learning motivation. Minimum students have motivation to learn in the sufficient category of 6 children, 12 children in the high category, and 9 children in the very high category. This shows that the application of the project based learning model can increase the mathematics learning motivation of class VA students at SDN 7 Cakranegara.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan produk berupa media pembelajaran MAPENA  berbasis nilai sosial pada materi pengaruh letak geografis terhadap mata pencaharian dan budaya di Indonesia Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan keefektifan media pembelajaran MAPENA berbasis nilai sosial untuk meningkatkan retensi siswa SD Negeri 1 Kuta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini menggunakan 5 tahapan penelitian, yaitu analysis (analisis), design (desain), development (pengembangan), implementation (implementasi), dan evaluation (evaluasi). Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri 1 Kuta, Kecamatan Pujut, Lombok Tengah. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SD Negeri 1 Kuta Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IVB.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil penilaian dari validator ahli media mendapatkan kriteria sangat layak dengan persentase 97,5%, penilaian dari ahli materi mendapatkan kriteria sangat layak dengan persentase 91,17%. Hasil uji coba kelompok kecil mendapatkan kriteria sangat layak dengan persentase 98,1%. Hasil tes retensi siswa setelah menggunakan media MAPENA berbasis nilai sosial menunjukkan kenaikan sebesar 13%. Meskipun tidak signifikan, akan tetapi hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas IV B SD Negeri 1 Kuta masih mengingat materi yang telah disampaikan pada bulan sebelumnya, bahkan mengalami peningkatan

Abstract

Science learning is still carried out conventionally and runs in one derection without involving students directly, as well as the lack of use of learning models and media. This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model assisted by the miniature house media on the understanding of students’ concepts in the electrical circuit material at SDN 2 Sape. The research uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 48 students. Data collection technique were carried out by means of a written test. The results of the study obtained an increase in the average number of students from 32.17 to 73.08. based on the results of hypothesis testing, it is obtained that the tcount value is 4.525 while the ttable value is 1.679. Because 4.525 ≥ 1.679, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a significant effect using the miniature house media on understanding of the students’ electric circuit concept.

Abstract

This study aims to develop CTL-based exploratory worksheets in improving student learning outcomes. The development method used is the ADDIE model by adding contextual concepts to alternative energy materials. The application of LKPD in learning uses one group sample design. The sample used was fourth grade students at SDN 38 Cakranegara. The LKPD validation data collection technique uses a questionnaire filled out by an expert validator. The sample class underwent pre-test and post-test to see the effectiveness of LKPD in learning. The data from expert and teacher validation are categorized as valid in terms of content feasibility 74.3%, presentation 75.6%, and language 80%. The effectiveness of the LKPD is classified as effective in improving student learning outcomes as seen in the n-gain test results of 0.31 with an increase in the medium category and the t-test with a value of 0.003 below 0.05 which shows there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. Thus, the exploratory development of CTL-based worksheets is classified as valid and effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study is a trend analysis of data on the percentage of primary school students who access the internet in Yogyakarta. The data is obtained from BPS-RI in the Education Statistics book which is published annually. Trend analysis was conducted for data from 2006 to 2023. The purpose of this research is to explore and examine more deeply the current state of learning. The research method used was explanatory sequential. The data has a general increasing trend. However, in 2022 and 2023 there was a decrease. The increase from 2016 is assumed to be due to easier and more internet facilities. After many people understand the shortcomings of online learning, blended learning was initiated which combines in-person learning and online learning. So that the prediction in 2024 the percentage value will increase again.

Abstract

Learning activities carried out in the classroom greatly determine the quality of learning that takes place. Based on the results of observations made, it was found that the learning that took place was not student-centered and learning activities were still carried out conventionally. This causes low learning motivation for class III students at SDN 7 Cakranegara. The research carried out aims to improve learning regarding this problem by implementing the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by Quizizz media. Quizizz is used as a learning medium and learning evaluation tool. This type of research is Classroom Action Research which takes place in 2 cycles. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and documentation. The Classroom Action Research model used is the Kemmis and Mc model. Taggart. The subjects of this research were class III students at SDN 7 Cakranegara for the 2022/2023 academic year with a total of 26 students consisting of 9 female students and 17 male students. The results of this research are that in the pre-cycle and cycle 1 stages, the average student was in the fairly good learning motivation criteria with a percentage of 61% and 63%, while in cycle 2 there was an increase in student learning motivation, namely the average student was in the good criteria with a percentage 76%. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by Quizizz media can increase students' learning motivation.

Abstract

Literasi sains merupakan kemampuan menggunakan pengetahuan sains, mengidentifikasi pertanyaan, dan menarik kesimpulan berdasarkan bukti-bukti, dalam rangka memahami serta membuat keputusan berkenaan dengan alam dan perubahan yang dilakukan terhadap alam melalui aktivitas manusia. Kemampuan siswa Indonesia dalam literasi sains, membaca dan matematika berada pada urutan ke-57 dari 65 negara. Indonesia berada dalam urutan di bawah dibanding negara-negara Asia lainnya. Hasil penelitian sebelumnya juga menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi sains siswa SD lebih banyak berada pada kategori rendah. Tidak terbiasanya siswa menyelesaikan permasalahan berbasis konteks yang diintegrasikan dengan indikator literasi sains dan kurangnya bahan ajar yang memadai dalam rangka mengembangkan literasi sains siswa mendukung rendahnya capaian tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar IPA berbasis kontekstual sebagai suatu usaha atau proses mendesain materi ajar yang sudah ada menjadi format materi ajar yang baru dimana objek pembahasannya dikaitkan dengan segala sesuatu yang sering ditemukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang relevan terhadap tujuan pembelajaran serta tidak bertentangan dengan tuntuan kurikulum yang berlaku. Bahan ajar IPA berbasis kontekstual untuk melatih literasi sains siswa SD dikembangkan menggunakan desain 4-D, yakni melalui tahap define, design, develop dan disseminate. Berdasarkan tahapan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, analisis data memperlihatkan bahwa nilai v-Aiken untuk validasi ahli adalah 0,8 dan persentase respon pengguna adalah 84 (guru) dan 83,3 (siswa). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar IPA berbasis kontekstual valid dan praktis digunakan untuk melatih kemampuan literasi sains siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar IPA berbasis inkuiri untuk kelas V SD. Bahan ajar ini berupa bahan ajar siswa dan pegangan guru berbasis inkuiri yang sahih atau valid, efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses sains siswa dan praktis digunakan oleh siswa dan guru. Peneliti mengembangkan bahan ajar menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan modifikasi Borg and Gall (2003). Adapun tahapan yang dilalui terdiri dari 6 langkah, yakni: 1) studi pendahuluan; 2) perencanaan; 3) pengembangan; 4) validasi; 5) uji coba; 6) produk akhir.Hasil validasi ahli bahan ajar IPA berbasis inkuiri mendapatkan perolehan sebesar 97.56% terhadap isi/materi, 92.39% terhadap bahasa, dan 81.25% terhadap desain bahan ajar. Hasil uji coba kelas terbatas menunjukkan perolehan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 88.7 dan 100% siswa telah mencapai KKM, serta persentase keterampilan proses sains siswa sebesar 78.51%. Selain itu persentase kepraktisan yang diperoleh adalah 89.59% bagi siswa dan 92.85% bagi guru. Berdasarkan paparan data tersebut, bahan ajar IPA berbasis inkuiri layak digunakan karena telah dikategorikan sangat valid, efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses siswa, serta praktis digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran IPA pada kelas Vb di SDN 4 Praya.Kata Kunci: bahan ajar, IPA, inkuiri, hasil belajar, keterampilan proses sainsAbstract: The aim of this research and development is to produce science’s teaching material based on inquiry which is valid and effective in improving student’s achievement and science’s process skill and also practically used for student and teacher. Researcher developed this instructional material by using a modified model of research and development by Borg and Gall (2003). The 6 phases of this model are: 1) preliminary study, 2) planning, 3) development, 4) validation, 5) trials and 6) final product. The results of the expert validation acquired 97.56% for the contents/material, 92.39% for the language, and 81.25% for the design. The trial results of limited class shown student learning outcomes at 88.7 and 100% of students achieved KKM, and also the percentage of student’s science process skills is 78.51%. In addition, the percentage of practicality for students is 89.59% and 92.85% for teachers. Based on data, science’s teaching material based on inquiry effective in improving student achievement and science process skills and also practical use in the process of learning science at class Vb SDN 4 Praya.Keywords: teaching materials, science, inquiry, learning, science process skills
