Abstract

Mesin PL1250 merupakan salah satu mesin yang digunakan dalam pembuatan cover on-off di PT XYZ yang mengalami frekuensi kerusakan terbanyak. Kerusakan mesin menyebabkan terjadinya downtime. Downtime mengakibatkan proses produksi terhenti karena mesin tidak dapat beroperasi. Hal ini menyebabkan penurunan produktivitas karena mesin tidak dapat menghasilkan produk dengan maksimal. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka evaluasi terhadap kinerja mesin dilakukan pada mesin PL1250 dengan menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dan Overall Resource Effectiveness (ORE). Tujuan dari evaluasi kinerja mesin yaitu untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan mesin dan ketersediaan sumber daya, serta mengetahui kerugian yang muncul selama proses produksi berlangsung berdasarkan six big losses. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai OEE sebesar 76.54% dan nilai ORE sebesar 73.53% yang berada di bawah standar global yaitu 85%. Rendahnya efektivitas mesin dipengaruhi oleh dua losses yang paling dominan yaitu reduced speed loss dengan persentase sebesar 36.27% dan idling and minor stoppages loss dengan persentase sebesar 29.54%. Penyebab rendahnya efektivitas dipengaruhi oleh aspek manusia, mesin, material, dan metode.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the optimal maintenance time interval for the selected critical components and the total cost of maintenance of a plastic injection machine. In determining the critical components, a risk matrix was used, and three components were selected, namely, hydraulic hose, barrel, and motor. Using the Reliability and Risk Centered Maintenance (RRCM) method, the researchers got a proposed maintenance policy and the total maintenance cost. Based on the result, it shows that there are seven proposed maintenance tasks with three scheduled oncondition tasks and four scheduled restoration tasks with an average maintenance interval of two months. The total maintenance cost proposed is IDR91.595.318. The cost is smaller compared to the actual maintenance costs of the company.

Abstract

Proses pencucian galon oleh CV. Barokah Abadi Baleendah saat ini masih belum optimal karena masih dilakukan secara manual. Selain itu, prosesnya masih membutuhkan beberapa kegiatan yang terpisah menggunakan sarana yang berbeda baik untuk pencucian maupun untuk proses pembilasan galon. Akibatnya proses pencucian galon memerlukan tempat yang relatif luas dan membutuhkan waktu proses pencucian yang relatif lama. Paper ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah prototipe alat bantu pencucian galon agar proses pencucian galon menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. Perancangan awal alat pencuci galon menggunakan pendekatan reverse engineering and redesign methodology serta mempertimbangkan dari sisi ergonomic factor. Alat ini didisain dengan menyatukan beberapa proses yang ada menjadi satu proses ditempat yang sama. Disain alat menyesuaikan user experience operator sehingga dapat memudahkan penggunaannya. Dari data, perancangan alat telah menghasilkan sebuah alat pencucian galon dengan kendali PLC mencapai rata-rata waktu mencapai rata-rata waktu 31,07 detik. Hasil ini telah meningkatkan produktivitas pencucian galon, dengan peningkatan sebesar 68% dari proses pencucian eksisting sebelumnya.

Abstract

An aircraft company needs to "secure" their aircraft engine for a good maintenance system to keep the optimum engine's performance during the flight. This paper proposed maintenance analysis and scenario for the CT7, the main engine for aircraft at NTP company. A failure data record from four critical components of the CT7 engine is analyzed using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Risk Based Maintenance (RBM) methods to obtain the optimum maintenance interval task for the critical subsystem of the CT7 engine and also seeing the risk of maintenance cost of the engine's failure effect. The RCM analysis result obtained seven scheduled on condition task, six scheduled discard task, and three scheduled restoration task. The interval of the maintenance schedule of each critical component varies according to the function obtained. And based RBM analysis, the risk from system performance loss is got $ 7.014.841, 90. Meanwhile, the total cost of maintenance interval based on a calculation of optimal time interval got $1.885.612, 82. Abstract

Over time a machine will get experience a decrease in reliability, causing the engine to be damaged at the time of operation, thus disrupting the production line. To maintain a machine remains reliable then a good maintenance system is required. In this research, we will use Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Reliability Centered Spare (RCS) analysis on the critical system of Goss Universal printing machine based on engine failure data. The result of RCM analysis obtained the optimal preventive maintenance schedule and the type of treatment, while based on the RCS analysis obtained spare part needs following the maintenance schedule. With the result of this analysis, is expected where the machine will keep good and will continue to operate without a sudden breakdown under the production schedule's need. Based on RCM analysis for each critical subsystem obtained interval preventive maintenance for transfer roller 127.60 hours, Ink fountain roller 24.45 hours, ink form roller 29.23 hours respectively, and the wash-up device is no scheduled maintenance. For spare parts inventory strategies the result using RCS method are: transfer roller104 units, ink fountain roller requires 32 units, ink form roller 36 units and are holding spare policy required, and a wash-up device no holding spare parts. Abstract

Based on data from the production and maintenance department, the highest downtime happen in JDK machine at ABC company. High downtime caused by spare parts lacking or replacement parts when the machine damaged, it cause the engine stop longer. This study analyze and determine spare part inventory the policy, especially critical components in JDK machine. Reliability Centered Spare (RCS) method used in this study, this method essentially determines the optimal spare parts policy for a certain period. The result of research with RCS method shows that the spare parts inventory policy for all critical components of JDK machine in one year ahead by storing or stocking the following amount: packing valve: 469 pieces; teflon: 134 pieces; bearing pump: 10 pieces; mechanical seal: 26 pieces; motor pump: 10 pieces; packing pump: 141 pieces; motor driving reel: 9 pieces; bearing driving reel: 45 pieces; mechanical seal driving reel: 163 pieces; packing heat exchanger: 70 pieces; site glass: 29 pieces; and pressure gauge: 7 pieces.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a pharmaceutical company located in West Bandung Regency. The company is engaged in the pharmaceutical sector and manufactures several products. One of the sub-units in this company is the Biological Product division which produces vaccines and sterilizes pharmaceutical equipment. In production activities in this sub-unit requires a steam engine to sterilize livestock machinery, the machine is called an Autoclave. The Autoclave-035 machine uses steam to sterilize so that viruses, bacteria, fungi, and other organisms can die. The Autoclave-035 machine often damage and malfunctions from 2019 to 2021 with 41 times of damage, causing engine downtime because it had not considered the service life of the engine components.. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze and design using the Age Replacement method to obtain the optimal component replacement time interval policy for Autoclave-35 machine. The results of this analysis are the Risk Priority Number values of the two most critical components, namely Drain Chamber and Door Seal. Then based on the Age Replacement model, the optimal service life of the Drain Chamber component is 16 years and the Door Seal is 18,2 years

Abstract

Based on damage data owned by PT XYZ, the compressor engine that has a history of high damage is the D32 CP8 Compressor Engine. Critical components of the D32 CP 8 Compressor are determined using a risk matrix. The critical components selected from the D32 CP8 Compressor Engine are Screw Motor, Refrigerant Air Cooler, and Cylinder Bearing Oil Cooler. This study uses the Reliability Centered Spares (RCS), Min-Max Stock, and Reorder Point (ROP) methods. The data collection and processing results obtained the need for critical components in the next 1 year based on the MTTF critical component data. These calculations show that the value of the required spare parts for the Motor Screw, Refrigerant Air Conditioner, and Cylinder Bearing Oil Cooler in a year is 8 components. The minimum Stock of the Screw Motor is 3 components, the maximum stock is 8 components, ReOrder Point point is 4 components. The minimum stock of 4 component air coolers, maximum stock of 7 components, ReOrder Point when 3 components. The minimum stock of a Cylindrical Bearing Oil Cooler is 2 components, the maximum stock is 6 components, and the ReOrder Point is when there are 2 components.

Abstract

Abstrak PT XYZ merupakan salah satu industri manufaktur yang bergerak dibidang Baja dan Beton siap pakai untuk industri kontruksi, kelistrikan, pertambangan, telekomunikasi dan perhubungan. Mesin Cutting merupakan salah satu mesin yang harus selalu siap pakai karena mempengaruhi proses produksi dan target produksi. Karena tingginya tingkat frekuensi downtime pada Mesin Cutting, maka diperlukan suatu kegiatan perawatan yang efektif, cara yang dilakukan pada penelitian keandalan mesin adalah menggunakan metode Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) analysis dan juga untuk menentukan kebijakan perawatan yang efektif dan tepat untuk Mesin Cutting adalah menggunakan metode Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). Berdasarkan perhitungan metode RAM Analysis dengan menggunakan pemodelan Reliability Block Diagram diketahui bahwa Reliability sistem pada waktu 112 jam sistem memiliki nilai Reliability (1%). Nilai Maintainability sistem pada waktu 5 jam adalah 100%. Nilai Inherent Availability sebesar 97,34% dan nilai Operational Availability sebesar 88,77%. Berdasarkan evaluasi yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan World Class Key Performance Indicator, indikator dari Lagging Indicator belum mencapai target indikator yang diberikan sedangkan Leading Indicator telah mencapai target. Dengan metode RCM, didapat 2 Schedule On-Condition Task, 3 Schedule Restoration Task dan 1 Schedule Discard Task dengan interval waktu perawatan yang berbeda sesuai dengan subsistemnya masing-masing, serta penurunan biaya preventive maintenance sebesar Rp 3.467.688.301. Kata Kunci: Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Preventive Maintenance, Key Performance Indicator, Downtime. Abstract PT XYZ is one of the manufacturing industries engaged in ready-made Steel and Concrete for construction industry, electricity, mining, telecommunication and transportation. Cutting machine is one of the machines that must always be ready to use because it affects the production process and production targets. Due to the high level of downtime frequencies in Cutting Machines, an effective maintenance activity is required, the way in which the reliability research of the machine is to use Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) analysis and also to determine the effective and appropriate maintenance policy for Cutting Machine is using Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) method. Based on calculation method of RAM Analysis by using Reliability Block Diagram is known that Reliability system at 112 hour system have value Reliability (1%). The value of Maintainability system at 5 hours is 100%. Inherent Availability value of 97,34% and the value of Operational Availability of 88,77%. Based on the evaluation conducted using World Class Key Performance Indicator, indicator of Lagging Indicator has not reached the target indicator given while Leading Indicator has reached the target. With RCM method, 2 Schedule On-Condition Tasks, 3 Schedule Restoration Tasks and 1 Schedule Discard Task with different maintenance intervals based on their respective subsystems, and Rp 3.467.688.301 reduction in preventive maintenance cost. Abstract

PT. Progressio Indonesia (Pronesia) merupakan sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang konveksi yang memproduksi berbagai macam produk seperti t-shirt, jaket, kemeja, celana, dll. Produk yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini berfokus pada produk kemeja. Dalam proses produksi kemeja, ditemukan waste motion yang mempengaruhi cycle time sehingga dapat menimbulkan terjadinya masalah delivery quality. Berdasarkan permasalahan waste motion yang terjadi, maka penelitian ini akan memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk meminimasi waste motion pada proses produksi kemeja dengan pendekatan metode Lean Manufacturing. Tahap awal penelitian dilakukan pengumpulan data primer yang kemudian diolah untuk penggambaran Value Stream Mapping (VSM) dan Process Activity Mapping (PAM) current state. Tahap berikutnya adalah penggambaran fishbone diagram dan 5Why’s untuk mencari akar penyebab masalah. Selanjutnya dilakukan perancangan usulan perbaikan untuk mengatasi waste motion dengan mengimplementasikan 5S, serta merancang tata letak tempat penyimpanan Work In Process sesuai dengan jangkauan operator.
