Abstract

Covid-19 is one of the most dangerous and number one killer viruses in the world today and cannot be handled properly. Covid-19 patients with mild symptoms do not require hospitalization unless there are concerns about the possibility of a rapid worsening and according to medical considerations. Patients who are elderly and have comorbid diseases have a greater risk of experiencing more severe symptoms and experiencing death, so they can be considered for treatment. To make it easier to determine inpatients for COVID-19 patients, an expert system with the CBR-AHP method is needed. This system can be used to conduct consultations on Covid-19 disease and provide solutions for the treatment of the type of Covid-19 disease found where the consultation results are obtained from the highest Nei&Li similarity value. Of all the variants found above, the highest Nei&Li similarity value is Omicron with a similarity of 1,000. The system for determining the inpatient status of Covid-19 patients in hospitals with the Nei&Li algorithm will recommend Covid-19 diseases found with similarity above 0.5 and similarity below 0.5 will be entered into the review table to find a solution.

Abstract

The Grindulu River in Pacitan is one of the areas that exhibits manifestations of hydrothermal alteration and metal mineralization. However, the valuable metals found are relatively low, making it less economical to produce. This condition opens up other opportunities by utilizing the area as a natural laboratory for geological education and sustainable geotourism development. This study evaluates the potential for hydrothermal mineralization-based geotourism through geosite assessment. The study area comprises the Watupatok Formation and the Arjosari Formation, which show silicic, argillic, and propylitic alteration zones. The research methods include geological mapping, rock sampling, petrographic analysis, XRD, FA-AAS, and geosite assessment using the Kubalikova method, covering scientific, educational, aesthetic, and value-added aspects. The results show the presence of mineralization in the form of pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, and galena, with low levels of valuable metals (Au, Ag, Cu, Pb, Zn). Nevertheless, all three segments of the Grindulu River possess significant geosite value for educational and conservation purposes, with segment 2 considered the most ideal due to its superior accessibility and educational value. This study concludes that the Grindulu River is more appropriate for development as a sustainable geotourism destination based on conservation and geological education rather than mining exploitation.

Abstract

Batik is an important part of Indonesia’s cultural heritage, with each region producing unique designs. In Central Java, Semarang is known for its distinctive batik patterns that reflect rich local traditions. However, many people are still unfamiliar with these designs, which threatens their preservation. This study develops an automated system to classify Semarang batik patterns, showing how technology can help safeguard cultural heritage. A convolutional neural network (CNN) approach was used to recognize ten batik types, including Asem Arang, Asem Sinom, Asem Warak, Blekok, Blekok Warak, Gambang Semarangan, and Kembang Sepatu. Pre-processing steps—such as image resizing, cropping, flipping, and rotation—improved model performance and reduced complexity. Five CNN architectures (MobileNetV2, ResNet-50, DenseNet-121, VGG-16, and EfficientNetB4) were tested using 224×224 input size, Adam optimizer, ReLU activation, and categorical cross-entropy loss. Results show VGG-16, ResNet-50, and DenseNet-121 achieved perfect accuracy (1.0) on a dataset of 3,000 locally collected images. These findings highlight CNN models’ strong potential for batik pattern recognition, supporting digital preservation of Indonesian culture.

Abstract

Digital images are used to become a visual bridge of information. The information data must be precise so that the information can be adequately conveyed, but in the process, digital images sometimes experience a change in quality. One of the causes of this change is noise, where the image affected by noise is of poor quality, so misinformation can occur. This problem can be solved using filtering methods, but there are so many filtering methods. In this study, five filtering methods were used, including the Gaussian filter, mean filter, median filter, wiener filter, and conservative filter, to be compared with two types of noise, such as salt and pepper and speckle, so that the best method for noise reduction in digital images is known based on the criteria that have been set determined. The research results were determined based on the value of the measurement parameters Mean Square Error (MSE) and Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR). The results show that the conservative method is the best based on the parameter values of MSE 3.21 and PSNR = 37.99. However, when viewed visually, the median method is superior for reducing noise in digital images that have been carried out. The results of the research can be used as information to develop future research, especially in the field of digital image processing.

Abstract

Wildfire risk analysis can be based on historical data of fire hotspot occurrence. Traditional wildfire risk analyses often rely on the use of administrative or grid polygons which has their own limitations. This research aims to develop a wildfire risk map by implementing DBSCAN clustering method to identify areas with wildfire risk based on historical data of wildfire hotspot occurrence points. The risk ranks for each area/cluster were then ranked/calculated based on the cluster density. The result showed that this method is capable of detecting major clusters/areas with their respective wildfire risk and that the majority of consequent fire occurrences were repeated inside the identified clusters/areas.Keywords: wildfire risk map; clustering; DBSCAN; cluster density;

Abstract

Playing games is one of the activities in great demand by the elderly, young, and children, whose use is generally only to fill spare time, get rid of boredom, and for fun. Therefore in this final project, an educational game based on Role Playing Game will be developed, which is helpful for learning by applying ten-finger typing education because, until now, learning has only been done through books. Delphi 7 is used in its manufacture. The Delphi language is a programming language that can be configured in such a way that it can work with other devices to form a control system—and apply the Finite State Machine method to process the gameplay control flow, which consists of 3 levels where the player will complete the answers for each class to be able to proceed to the next level. The results of this game can be used as learning media for children, and they can learn while playing to add knowledge in the field of typing. With these benefits, it is hoped that later games can be developed and applied among students. A game uses electronics and is entertainment in the form of multimedia that is made as attractive as possible so that players can get something that there is new satisfaction. In the Big Indonesian Dictionary, an online game is used to play goods or something that is played. The growth of the game industry is developing, especially in various types of games which include Maze Games, Board Games, Card Games, Battle Card Games, Quiz Games, Puzzle Games, Shooting Games, First Person Shooting (FPS), Side Scrolling Games, Fighting Game, Racing Game, Simulation, Strategy Game, Role Playing Game (RPG), Adventure Game, Sports Game, and Edutainment Game.
