Abstract

Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park (GGPNP) is a representative type of mountainous tropical rain forest ecosystem that is rich in biodiversity potential. Research on the diversity of Macrofungi has not been widely, especially in the Cibeureum Waterfall Trail, GGPNP. This study aims to study the diversity of Macrofungi in the Cibeureum Waterfall Trail, GGPNP route. The research was carried out from November 2020 to August 2021. Sampling was carried out by the roaming method. The results of the study of Macrofungi in the Cibeureum Waterfall Trail, GGPNP route obtained 2 phyllum, 9 orders, 22 families and 57 species with a total of 1,360 individuals. The value of the Shannon-Wiener diversity index (H') belongs to the medium category, the evenness index (E) is moderate and the dominance index (D) is low. The abiotic conditions in this area based on the recording of temperature, pH, humidity and light intensity indicate conditions that support the life of Macrofungi in the Cibeureum Waterfall Trail, GGPNP route.

Abstract

Learning during the Covid-19 pandemic has largely shifted to online learning. In response to this, it is necessary to prepare teaching materials that support online learning, one of which is the use of electronic models or e-modules. This is a development research with referring design to the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) which aims to produce electronic modules on science subjects with digestive system material as teaching materials for VIII grade junior high school students to enhance problem solving skill. ADDIE development design includes identification of potentials and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, limited-scale product trials, product revisions, wide-scale use trials and final products. The resulting e-module is declared feasible based on validation by material and media experts and very feasible by linguists. The results of the limited and wide-scale trial showed very good interpretation based on student responses. acquisition of an average N-Gain score of 0,57 and categorized as moderate. The pretest and posttest scores obtained by students were 37,35 and 73,53 respectively. If viewed from the school KKM score of ≥70 then the average posttest score obtained is complete. The results showed that the electronic module in science subjects with digestive system material met the requirements and was suitable for use as teaching materials for grade VIII students of SMPIT Kaifa Bogor.

Abstract

Abstract

Developing students’ creativity and environmental awareness is essential in sustainability-oriented science education. Integrating Project-Based Learning (PjBL) with a Place-Based Education (PBE) framework offers a promising approach by connecting classroom learning with real-world environmental contexts. This study employed a quasi-experimental design using a pretest–posttest control group. The sample consisted of 74 junior high school students in Bogor, Indonesia, including 35 students in the control group and 39 students in the experimental group. The experimental group received PjBL integrated with PBE, while the control group implemented PjBL without a place-based framework. Data were collected using creative thinking tests, environmental awareness questionnaires, observation sheets, and response questionnaires from students, teachers, and community members. Instrument validity and reliability were confirmed through preliminary testing. The results indicated that the PjBL–PBE model was highly implementable and effective. Students’ creative thinking skills in the experimental group showed a higher improvement (N-Gain = 56.18%) compared to the control group. Environmental awareness also increased substantially in the experimental group (67.15%), while the control group showed only a modest improvement (13.62%). Stakeholder responses demonstrated strong support for the learning model (91.60%). These findings suggest that integrating PjBL with a place-based framework effectively enhances students’ creative thinking and environmental awareness in renewable energy education.
