Abstract

According to Worldometers data in March 2020, Indonesia's population was 273,523,615 people with a population density of 151 people per km2, this number tends to increase compared to 2019, which was 270,625,568 people. The purpose of the study is to determine a correlation between education, employment and socio-economic levels with the selection of contraceptive methods in fertile age couples at Bangun Jaya Health Center in 2024. This study uses analytic research with cross sectional design. Sampling with nonprobability sampling method with purposive sampling technique, namely sampling based on researcher judgment and in accordance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Sampling with a total of 90 people. Chi-square test results show that the variable level of education, with the selection of contraceptive methods in fertile age couples with chi-square p-value of 0.001 (α <0.05), work with the selection of contraceptive methods in fertile age couples with a chi-square p-value of 0.001 (α <0.05), social economy with the selection of contraceptive methods in fertile age couples with the results of chi-square p-value 0.001 (α <0.05) so it can be concluded that there is a correlation between education level, occupation and social economy with the selection of contraceptive methods in fertile age couples at Bangun Jaya Health Center in 2024. It is recommended that the Health Center as a further reference to deal with the selection of contraceptive methods in fertile age couples.

Abstract

Globally, it is estimated that there are around 650 million cases of early marriage. The East Asia and Pacific region, including Indonesia, is the third largest contributor to early marriage in the world, accounting for around 13% of global early marriage cases (UNICEF, 2021). The objective of this study is to determine the correlation between knowledge and attitudes of early-married mothers with their reproductive health status in the working area of Tunas Harapan Health Center in 2024.This study is an analytical study with a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of all women who were married before the age of 21 and are currently aged up to 30 years with children, totaling 75 women in the working area of Tunas Harapan Health Center. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, based on the researchers' considerations and the inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in a sample size of 64 participants. The Chi-square test results showed that the variable of knowledge of early-married mothers with their reproductive health status had a chi-square p-value of 0.001 (α<0.05), and the attitude of early-married mothers with their reproductive health status also had a chi-square p-value of 0.001 (α<0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between knowledge and attitudes of early-married mothers and their reproductive health status in the working area of Tunas Harapan Health Center in 2024. It is recommended that healthcare workers use these findings as a basis for conducting outreach on the importance of reproductive health

Abstract

Immunization is the most effective primary prevention against infectious diseases, protecting individuals from serious illnesses and preventing the spread of contagious diseases (Irawati, 2020). Immunization is carried out to induce or enhance immunity against certain diseases; if not done, it can increase the risk of exposure to diseases with severe symptoms (Hudhah, 2020). The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between the use of the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Book and compliance with complete basic immunization in infants aged 0-11 months at Kampung Delima Public Health Center, Rejang Lebong Regency, in 2024.This study uses an analytical research design with a cross-sectional approach. The measurement of variables is conducted at a specific point in time, meaning that subjects are observed and measured simultaneously. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with a total of 69 respondents. The results of the Chi-square test show that there is a correlation between the use of the MCH Book and compliance with complete basic immunization in infants aged 0-11 months, with a chi-square result of p-value 0.001 (α<0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between the use of the Maternal and Child Health Book and compliance with complete basic immunization in infants aged 0-11 months at Kampung Delima Public Health Center, Rejang Lebong Regency, in 2024.It is recommended that the public health center utilize this information as a means of evaluation, particularly in increasing the coverage of complete basic immunization in infants

Abstract

Hand washing has health benefits, namely it can reduce the number of microorganisms, reduce germs found on dirty hands, so as to reduce the occurrence of infection. The goal of health education is to change people's or society's behavior from unhealthy behavior to healthy behavior. To change one's behavior can be done by teaching and learning. The role of nurses as educators can be done by helping clients to increase health knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education about hand washing on the level of knowledge and hand washing behavior of the patient's family at the Mukomuko Regional General Hospital in 2022. The design in this study used a Quasy Experimental One-group pre-post test design method. Sampling used purposive sampling technique, the number of respondents was 26 patients' families who were in the internal medicine inpatient room at the Mukomuko Regional General Hospital. The independent variable in this study is the Influence of Health Education about hand washing while the dependent variable is knowledge and behavior of hand washing. Statistical tests in this study used the paired t-test. The results showed that there was an effect of health education on hand washing on the level of knowledge and hand washing behavior of the patient's family with a p value of 0.000 < α = 0.05. It is expected that nurses have a role in continuing to remind patients and families to practice hand washing behavior. Educational activities can increase the knowledge of the patient's family, which will lead to attitudes and ultimately foster individual or group behavior based on individual awareness and willingness to perform the six stages of hand washing.

The method used in this study is quantitative, namely research used to determine the relationship between two variables with a longitudinal study approach. Univariate results A small proportion of abortions have age at risk, a small proportion of abortions occur in primiparous, multiparous pregnancies and most in multiparous rande pregnancies, a small proportion of pregnancies with a history of abortion, most have pregnancies without a history of abortion. bivariate results There is a significant conclusive relationship with abortion at Ummi Hospital bengkulu in 2024. In order to make input to pregnant women, mothers should control their pregnancy by doing ANC, avoiding things that have a negative impact on pregnancy, and maintaining mental health in accordance with the provisions of the government in order to avoid the incidence of abortion in future pregnancies.
