Abstract

Social entrepreneurship has emerged as a pivotal approach to addressing both societal and environmental challenges, integrating entrepreneurial principles with the goal of creating social and environmental value alongside economic sustainability. This paper explores the intersection of social entrepreneurship and sustainable development, examining how social entrepreneurs leverage innovation, resourcefulness, and business acumen to tackle complex issues such as poverty, inequality, environmental degradation, and climate change. By integrating the principles of sustainable development, social entrepreneurs aim to create ventures that promote long-term environmental stewardship and social equity. The study employs a qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis to investigate the motivations, strategies, and challenges of social entrepreneurship. Key findings highlight the characteristics of social entrepreneurs, their contributions to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the systemic changes they foster. The paper also discusses the challenges faced by social entrepreneurs, such as access to funding and impact measurement, and identifies opportunities for growth through impact investing and technological advancements. The future of social entrepreneurship appears promising, with the potential for significant contributions to sustainable development through continued support and collaboration among stakeholders. The paper concludes by emphasizing the critical role of education, capacity-building, and multi-stakeholder partnerships in scaling the impact of social entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between Entrepreneur Characteristics and Business Performance variables, the relationship between entrepreneurial motivation variables and MSME business performance. In this study using quantitative methods. This is because the research data is in the form of numbers and analysis uses statistics, in collecting data using research instruments, data analysis is quantitative, with the aim of testing the established hypothesis, is experimental/survey, if the problem is clear. This type of research uses associative research. serves to explain, predict and control a symptom. This method is used to answer the formulation of the problem, namely knowing the effect of entrepreneurial characteristics and motivation on SMEs business performance. In this study, researchers used a questionnaire data collection technique (questionnaire). Questionnaire is a data collection technique which is done by giving a set of questions or written statements to respondents to answer. The statement questionnaire in this study was measured using a Likert 5 scale. The data analysis of this study used the smartPLS 4.0 software (Purwanto et al., 2020) and the data was obtained through the distribution of online questionnaires with social media to 300 respondents who were selected using a simple random sampling method. Based on the results of data processing and analysis that has been done, the conclusions of this study are: 1. Entrepreneurial Characteristics Affect Business Performance. In this case the characteristics of entrepreneurs are very good. Entrepreneurial characteristics can be seen from the spirit of work and hard work to realize desires. 2. Entrepreneur motivation influences business performance. In this case the motivation of entrepreneurs is very high. Entrepreneur motivation can be seen from being an entrepreneur because he has a desire to be rich. The business performance variable is also very high. This is evident from my business has the ability to compete.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has significantly changed consumer behavior, including in Indonesia. This research aims to qualitatively analyze consumer online shopping patterns in Indonesia. Using in-depth interview methods and content analysis, this research explores the factors that influence consumer decisions in online shopping, e-commerce platform preferences, as well as the challenges and obstacles they face. The research results show that ease of access, product variety and price promotions are the main factors that encourage consumers to shop online. Apart from that, trust in transaction security and product quality also plays an important role in purchasing decisions. This research also found that social media plays a significant role in influencing consumer shopping behavior through product recommendations and reviews. However, several challenges such as limited internet infrastructure and lack of technological knowledge among certain consumers remain obstacles to wider adoption of online shopping. The findings from this research provide insights for e-commerce companies and policymakers to develop more effective strategies for promoting online shopping and improving consumer experiences. This research also suggests the need for education and infrastructure improvements to support the growth of e-commerce in Indonesia.

Abstract

With rapid changes in the business environment, companies need to understand and integrate innovation as a key element to achieve long-term success. This study will explore concrete steps in implementing business modeling that can become the basis for creating and managing innovation efficiently. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the role of innovation in improving company performance through the application of effective business modeling. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that innovation through business modeling has a crucial role in increasing company success amidst a dynamic business landscape. In the face of the declining average lifespan of business models, companies need to actively adopt innovative measures to strengthen core businesses, drive rapid growth, and respond to industry changes. The research findings emphasize the importance of customer segment analysis, developing intelligent revenue models, and implementing effective distribution channels. Additionally, research highlights the need to establish a strong innovation culture within organizations to increase adaptability and responsiveness to external and internal changes

Abstract

This research examines the importance of entrepreneurial leadership in improving team performance and business growth. The background to the problem shows that many companies face challenges in achieving optimal team performance and sustainable growth. Although various leadership models have been implemented, there is a gap in the literature exploring the specific strategies used by entrepreneurial leaders to overcome these challenges. The observed phenomenon shows that leaders with an entrepreneurial orientation tend to be more adaptive and innovative in facing market changes. The importance of this research lies in its in-depth qualitative approach to understanding the dynamics of entrepreneurial leadership. The method used involves in-depth interviews with business leaders who have proven success in improving team performance and driving business growth. The data collected was analyzed using a thematic approach to identify the main strategies implemented by these leaders. The research results show that entrepreneurial leaders use various strategies such as team empowerment, measured risk taking, and continuous innovation to improve team performance. In addition, they also emphasized the importance of a clear vision and effective communication to encourage team spirit and collaboration. Discussion of the results shows that these strategies not only improved team performance but also contributed to significant business growth. Thus, entrepreneurial leadership plays an important role in overcoming the challenges of team performance and business growth. This study provides valuable insights for business leaders and researchers into how entrepreneurial leadership strategies can be implemented effectively to achieve organizational goals.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) can be an alternative for the government to increase the country's economic productivity. This enormous economic potential cannot be separated from existing challenges, such as adapting sustainable business practices. This study aims to analyze the relationship between green innovation and business sustainability. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 64 knitting and weaving MSMEs in Bandung Regency. The data was analyzed using the Structural Equation Modelling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The results of the analysis show that Green Innovation has a significant positive effect on Business Sustainability, where 58.5% of the variance in Business Sustainability can be explained by Green Innovation. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that Green Innovation has a significant positive effect on Business Sustainability.

Abstract

The National Strategic Projects (PSN) policy is a key part of the infrastructure and economic development agenda under President Joko Widodo. This article aims to examine PSN projects considered underrated. and "overrated" based on impact, media coverage, and public perception. The research was conducted using a literature study and mass media analysis approach. The results of the study indicate that several projects, such as the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road and the SATRIA Satellite, have significant impacts but receive less attention (underrated), while projects such as the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Rail and the Food Estate receive more attention but are underrated. rated less optimal (overrated). Study This underline importance evaluation critical of strategic projects for the effectiveness of national development.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become top of the agenda for many organizations looking to increase their efficiency, innovation and competitiveness. Business process modeling becomes a critical foundation in managing this change, enabling organizations to redesign and optimize their processes. This research aims to investigate the impact of digital transformation on business process modeling, focusing on the challenges faced and the opportunities that arise in this context. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that digital transformation in business process modeling has a positive impact on organizations. Effective system integration, use of automation technology and advanced data analysis have increased operational efficiency and customer engagement. Although there are challenges in overcoming resistance to change and integration of complex systems, effective change management can minimize negative impacts. Opportunities opened up through digital transformation include product innovation, enhanced customer experiences, and more effective internal collaboration. In conclusion, organizations that successfully adopt these changes can gain a competitive advantage and improve their performance in an ever-evolving market.

Abstract

The term "Brown Party" emerged as a public criticism of the alleged lack of impartiality of the police in the political contestation leading up to the 2024 regional elections. The color brown refers to police uniforms and is used to criticize officers perceived as biased. This study uses Robert Entman's framing theory to analyze how the "Brown Party" narrative is shaped by the media and political elite, and its impact on public trust and democratic legitimacy. The analysis shows that certain framings reinforce perceptions. public will partisanship apparatus, Which impact on increasing criticism towards state institutions in public spaces.
