Abstract

The achievement of the banking sector's lending product is not consistently followed by the same level of achievement of other products. Therefore, it is important to observe customer segmentation, figuring out customer satisfaction, and to find out the influence of customer satisfaction toward the customer's willingness to cross-sell and providing recommendations on each segmentation. The purpose of this research paper is to identify individual debtor segment, identifying the influence of debtor's satisfaction toward cross-selling willingness and providing recommendations, as well as to become a business strategy reference for companies. We investigate the service quality (reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible) to observe the level of both satisfaction and loyalty of the debtors. The research is conducted with 93 respondents. The analytical method that is applied in this research paper is descriptive statistics, cross tabulation, and regression analysis. The research results indicate that the biggest number of debtors is on the low-interest loan segment on service and trade businesses, while for the medium-interest loan and high-interest loan the biggest number is on the trade businesses. In general, each segmentation is willing to cross-sell. However, the high-interest loan segment is more willing to cross-sell. On both low-interest loan and medium-interest loan segments, the debtors are willing to recommend the company's products to their relations. However, the debtors on the high-interest loan tend to be unwilling to do so. The results of this research also clarifies the theory that debtor's satisfaction has a significant relation with the willingness to cross-sell and providing recommendations (customer's loyalty). This may also help managers to provide a proper service for different debtor's segmentation.

Abstract

Transgenic plants are genetically modified plants made by inserting one or a number of genes from other organisms, with the aim of obtaining superior and desirable new traits, such as resistance to drought stress, resistance to pests, resistance to herbicides. So far, there are still many people who are worried about the safety of transgenic plants that have been successfully marketed. Therefore, we strive to provide information based on existing references to increase public understanding of GM crops. The educational materials provided consisted of an introduction to plant breeding techniques and the purpose of genetic transformation in plants, gene cloning techniques and the transformation of target genes into plant genomes to produce transgenic plants and molecular techniques used to select transgenic plants which were delivered in the form of online seminars. via zoom and live streaming on youtube. Abstract

AbstractHepatitis C virus (HCV) causes hepatitis disease. This disease is dangerous due to the large number of people with chronic hepatitis infection. Chronic hepatitis infection may progress to cirrhosis, liver cancer and death. The mortality rate due to liver cancer is quite large and occupies the top 10 causes of death in the world. HCV vaccine is necessary to prevent HCV transmission. The challengeof this vaccine developmentis the genotypes circulate in the world. In Indonesia, there are genotypes 1, 2, 3 and 6. HCV vaccine should be able to protect from most genotype. Therefore, the development of HCV vaccine takes a long time. One vaccine approach sounds promisingis VLP (Viral-like Particles) vaccine. The E1 E2 protein on the surface of the virus is an excellent candidate for VLP vaccine material, because of its immunogenecity. In this study, we didbioinformatics studyto analyzes E1 and E2 genes from genotypes 1, 2, 3 and 6. These genes sequences are obtained fromGenBank, and analyzed further using softwares such as BioEdit Sequence Alignment Editor, BLAST and BLAST Primer. From this study we can obtain E1-E2 gene consensus sequence and also conserved region of E1 and E2 gene sequence. The results of this study can be further used in the development of HCV VLP vaccine candidates. Keywords : VLP vaccine, E1 gene, E2 gene.

Abstract

The halal certification of products holds significant importance for Muslim consumers, necessitating the development of reliable techniques for identifying leather products made from raw materials. This study employed rapid and accurate analytical methods to distinguish between cowhide, pigskin, and artificial leather. A combination of scanning electron microscope (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) was used to assess the variations in collagen fiber structures and thermal stability among the leather samples. The findings revealed that morphological surface analysis, including grain patterns and pores, facilitated swift differentiation between different leather types. Pigskins exhibit three-hole patterns on their morphological surface compared to cowhide, with random pores and tighter grain patterns, whereas artificial leather lacks natural grain patterns and pores altogether. While FTIR spectra exhibited similarities between cowhide and pigskin leathers, variations in vibration intensity enabled effective discrimination. Artificial leather, particularly PVC-based materials, displayed distinct spectra, allowing FTIR spectroscopy to effectively discern between halal and non-halal leather. Cowhide possesses strong and sharp vibration at wavenumber 1736, 1277, and 817 cm-1 compared to pigskin, which has stronger vibration at 1534 cm-1. Meanwhile, PVC-based artificial leather exhibited stretching at 1723 and 744 cm-1 wavenumbers. DSC analysis proved valuable in differentiating between genuine and artificial leather based on unique peaks and thermal behavior. These three techniques provide reliable means to determine the raw material origins of leather products.
