Abstract

This study aims to find out the efforts of PAI educators in improving learning achievement, students also know whether the efforts made by PAI educators can increase student learning achievement. Muse metode qualitative research. This method is carried out to describe whether PAI learning achievement will increase with the efforts of the PAI educator. Among the efforts of PAI educators in improving student learning achievement are using methods that are adapted to the learning material, interestingly and fun, providing stories of prophets and friends, providing exercises, counseling guijugace / more precisely deepening the material, providing questions that can stimulate student activity, providing guijugace counseling / more precisely deepening the material, providing questions that can stimulate student activity, providing guijugace rahan, repeating the material for low grades at the same time different places, giving homework at the end of each material, doing daily replays once every 1 month. The efforts made by PAI educators in grade 2 at SB Muhamadiyah Kampung Bharu have good results, their learning achievement has increased even though it is a fairly long process also with not too rapid graphics. Abstract

The family environment is the initial education then followed by the school environment. It can be said that school is a place that is trusted by parents to receive education for quite a long time. This study aims to determine the effect of the mother's education level on the learning achievement of class I students at Sanggar Belajar, Kampung Baru Malaysia District in 2023. This type of quantitative research is with a cross sectional design. The number of samples is 15 people with total sampling technique. The results showed that there was an effect of mother's level of education on student achievement in class I with a significant value of p = 0.02 (p <0.05). Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using storytelling-based experience, interaction, communication, and reflection (thinking) learning models on the collaboration skills of fifth grade students in the Learning Studio, North Gombak, Malaysia. The category of this research is Pre-Experimental research using the One group Pretest design. t-Posttest Design. The sample of this study was the fifth grade students of the North Gombak Learning Studio, Malaysia, totaling 8 students. The data were collected using tests and observations. Meanwhile, the research data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially with the t test, based on the average posttest results obtained. the posttest average results of students' collaborative skills after the implementation of the storytelling-based thinking learning model was greater than the average pretest result before the implementation of the storytelling-based thinking learning model, the average pretest obtained before the implementation of the storytelling-based thinking learning model was 63.75 after being given activities with the treatment of the storytelling-based Thinking learning model so that the posttest average score was 85.00. It can be concluded that the form of storytelling-based Thinking learning that is applied to Indonesian language learning has an effect on the collaboration skills of class V students at the Learning Studio, North Gombak, Malaysia

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how students see overseas internship programs from the standpoint of an entrepreneur. Qualitative descriptive methodologies are used in this investigation. For this investigation, five specifically chosen students were participated. These are EFL students who have worked in Thailand as foreign interns. Data gathering was completed by carrying out interviews. According to the study's findings, the majority of students thought the program was extremely helpful. Both of them intellectually as well as extracurricularly. From the standpoint of the entrepreneur, it was discovered that students who participated in the Participants in the program were given a wage, access to resources, and hands-on training that helped them become independent. Although there are a number of issues; this is only a technical area that needs improvement.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dengan cermat menyelidiki pengalaman ekstensif para calon guru di Indonesia yang, sebagai non-penutur asli bahasa Thailand, mengajar siswa sekolah menengah pertama Thailand dalam bahasa Inggris. Pandangan positif para pendidik terungkap melalui analisis menyeluruh terhadap kuesioner dan wawancara mendalam. Studi ini menekankan pengaruh besar guru terhadap motivasi siswa, partisipasi aktif, dan pemahaman bahasa Inggris, menggarisbawahi peran penting mereka dalam membentuk pendidikan bahasa Thailand. Studi ini menekankan kendala rumit yang dihadapi guru di Indonesia ketika menghadapi kesenjangan budaya, kesenjangan bahasa, dan variasi dalam kemahiran siswa. Tantangan-tantangan ini menilai kemampuan pendidik untuk beradaptasi dan ketahanan mereka. Terlepas dari kerumitan lingkungannya, mereka menggunakan teknik pedagogi yang mujarab yang melampaui hambatan bahasa dan budaya. Gaya mengajar mereka efektif karena kemampuan beradaptasi mereka. Temuan-temuan ini mempunyai implikasi lebih luas yang melampaui bidang pendidikan, dan menawarkan wawasan berharga bagi sejumlah individu dan kelompok yang terlibat. Kemampuan beradaptasi dan kemanjuran yang ditunjukkan oleh guru-guru Indonesia dapat menjadi sumber inspirasi bagi para pendidik untuk mengintegrasikan kepekaan lintas budaya ke dalam praktik pengajaran mereka. Para pengambil kebijakan harus mempertimbangkan keberadaan lingkungan pengajaran lintas budaya dan merumuskan kebijakan pendidikan yang mendukung dan inklusif. Temuan ini dapat membantu program pelatihan guru dalam mengembangkan intervensi spesifik yang membantu guru dalam menavigasi konteks bahasa dan budaya yang beragam. Penelitian ini menyoroti jalan menuju pengajaran bahasa Inggris yang lebih halus dan selaras dengan budaya di Thailand. Meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam pengajaran lintas budaya, calon guru yang bukan penduduk asli Indonesia yang bisa berbahasa Thailand telah menunjukkan hasil yang menggembirakan. Mengakui dan memperingati kemampuan untuk bangkit kembali dari keterpurukan dapat membantu komunitas pendidikan dalam membina jaringan pendidikan bahasa yang beragam dan saling berhubungan yang melampaui batas-batas nasional. The educators' positive views are revealed through a thorough analysis of the questionnaire and in-depth interviews. The study emphasizes the substantial influence of teachers on student motivation, active participation, and comprehension of the English language, underscoring their pivotal role in shaping Thai language education. The study emphasizes the intricate obstacles that Indonesian teachers encounter when dealing with cultural disparities, linguistic disparities, and variations in student proficiency. These challenges assess the educators' ability to adapt and their resilience. Despite the intricacies of the environment, they employ efficacious pedagogical techniques that transcend linguistic and cultural obstacles. Their teaching style is effective due to their adaptability. These findings have broader implications that extend beyond the field of education, offering valuable insights for a range of individuals and groups involved. The adaptability and efficacy demonstrated by Indonesian teachers can serve as a source of inspiration for educators to integrate cross-cultural sensitivity into their teaching practices. Policymakers ought to take into account the presence of cross-cultural teaching environments and formulate educational policies that are both supportive and inclusive. These findings can assist teacher training programs in developing specific interventions that aid teachers in navigating diverse linguistic and cultural contexts. This research sheds light on the way towards a more refined and culturally attuned English language instruction in Thailand. Despite the challenges of cross-cultural teaching, non-native Indonesian preservice teachers who speak Thai have demonstrated encouraging outcomes. Acknowledging and commemorating this ability to bounce back from adversity can assist the educational community in fostering a diverse and interconnected network of language education that transcends national boundaries. Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian tindakan kelas pada jurnal ini adalah agar adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa kelas II-B di SD Negeri 060857 Medan Durung tentang Sila Pertama Pancasila. Penelitian ini melakukannya dengan mengembangkan media pembelajaran yaitu aplikasi Augmented Reality (AR) yang diintegrasikan dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBL). Tujuan dari pengembangan aplikasi AR adalah agar peserta didik mendapatkan pengetahuan yang lebih baik tentang Sila Pertama Pancasila. Penelitian tersebut dilakukan dalam beberapa siklus, termasuk perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Observasi, wawancara, dan data hasil belajar diperoleh untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis PBL yang dikombinasikan dengan aplikasi AR bisa mendapatkan kemajuan pada hasil belajar.

Abstract

This study discusses the Simalungun oral tradition, namely the Taur-taur Simalungun which began to be abandoned so that it was at the point of extinction because it was abandoned by some users of the oral tradition. One way to overcome this is to document the simalungun oral tradition. This research provides a solution to protect the oral tradition of the Taur-taur Simalungun from extinction. Taur-taur Simalungun is an oral tradition of the Simalungun community in the form of poetry and rhymes and contains stories, advice and satire. The aims of this study were (1) to describe the performance of the Taur-taur Simalungun oral tradition, (2) to evaluate the value content contained in the Taur-taur Simalungun oral tradition, and (3) to find a revitalization model for the Taur-taur Simalungun oral tradition. The Taur-taur Simalungun oral tradition that can be passed down from generation to generation.. The method used is an ethnographic method which includes in-depth interviews and participant observation. By conducting in-depth interviews and participatory observations, the pattern of using the Simalungun language itself will be obtained. Research data in the form of audio recordings, videos, interviews and observations. The results showed that through an anthropolinguistic approach as a whole (text, co-text and context), the oral tradition of the Taur-taur Simalungun can be maintained by documenting the oral tradition in audio-video form, in written format, as well as by developing local content subject matter at school.

Abstract

Skin health problems often occur in orphanages due to lack of awareness of hygiene and limited sanitation facilities. This service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of the children of Mamiyai Orphanage regarding skin health through education and training in making sulfur soap made from natural ingredients. The method used was a participatory approach, involving 38 participants in two sessions, namely education and soap making practice. Evaluation was conducted through pretest and posttest. Results showed a significant increase in average knowledge from 61.00 to 83.50 (p < 0.05). This finding is in line with Kolb's experiential learning theory that emphasizes the importance of direct experience in learning. In addition to improving understanding of skin care, the program equips participants with practical skills that can be developed as simple business opportunities. The integration of theoretical education and the practice of making sulfur soap proved effective in improving clean and healthy living behaviors in the orphanage environment.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of picture series media on the beginning reading ability of second grade students at Sanggar Belajar Kampung Bharu Malaysia. Using an experimental research design with a quantitative approach, this study involved 15 second grade students as both the population and the sample. Data collection techniques included observation sheets and tests to measure students' beginning reading ability. This study used a non-equivalent group design to investigate differences in results before and after treatment. The findings of the study showed a significant difference between the pretest (mean value: 64.06) and posttest (mean value: 82.13), showing an increase of 18.07 points after the application of picture series media. The paired t-test analysis showed a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05), confirming that picture series media had a significant effect on beginning reading ability. Before treatment, only 3 students achieved scores above the minimum completion criteria (KKM> 70), while after treatment, 14 students scored above the KKM limit. This study proves that picture series media effectively improves students' early reading skills by providing visual representations that increase motivation, stimulate imagination, and help students connect letters with meaningful concepts. This study provides valuable insights for elementary school teachers in choosing the right media to improve early reading instruction
