Abstract

Studi ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak penggunaan media pembelajaran Wordwall berbasis kebudayaan terhadap keterampilan menganalisis siswa di Sanggar Bimbingan Muhammadiyah Kampung Bharu Malaysia. Metode digunakan dalam penelitian ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Populasi yang dijadikan objek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV, sementara sampel yang digunakan yaitu seluruh sisva kelas IV yang terdiri dari 10 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui beberapa metode, yaitu observasi, tes, dan kuesioner. Adapun teknik analisis data yang diterapkan mencakup uji instrument data dan pengujian hipotesis, diperoleh hasil bahwa pada pre-test, diperoleh nilai t = 25.482 > 1.85955 ttabel dengan df = 9 Serta diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000,>dari 0.05, dengan persentase sebesar 46,40%, kemudian pada post-test, menunjukan peningkatan yang signifikan dimana diperoleh nilai t = 83.422 > 1.85955 dengan df = 9 serta nilai signifikansi 0.000 lebih kecil dari 0.05, maka hasil ini dinyatakan signifikan secara statistik dengan persentase 78,70%. Maka, penggunaan media pembelajaran Wordwall yang berbasis kebudayaan secara signifikan memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan keterampilan analisis siswa di Sanggar Bimbingan Muhammadiyah Kampung Bharu, Malaysia. Penggunaan media ini terbukti efektif dalam mendorong keterlibatan siswa, memfasilitasi pemahaman materi secara kontekstual, dan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analitis.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in fictional text learning for Grade VI students at UPT SD Negeri 060857 Medan through the use of interactive PowerPoint media and concrete teaching aids. Preliminary observations revealed low student interest and suboptimal learning outcomes due to conventional teaching methods and limited use of learning media. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a quantitative approach, conducted in two learning cycles. The interactive PowerPoint utilized features such as hyperlinks, short videos, and quizzes, while concrete aids in the form of illustrated characters helped visualize abstract concepts in fictional texts. The findings showed a significant improvement in students’ mastery levels, increasing from 45.83% in cycle I to 95.84% in cycle II. These results indicate that the use of varied and engaging teaching methods and media can enhance student comprehension, interest, and achievement. This study also aligns with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, emphasizing differentiated learning and character development through creative and collaborative approaches.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 060857 Medan on the topic Cultural Diversity in My Region. Conventional teaching methods and the lack of culturally relevant learning materials have led to low student engagement and comprehension. The aim of this study is to improve student learning outcomes through the use of QR Book media combined with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. QR Book is a printed medium enhanced with QR codes that link to instructional videos on cultural topics, while CRT emphasizes teaching that connects with students’ cultural backgrounds.This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 12 fifth-grade students. Data collection instruments included observation sheets, evaluation tests, and documentation.The results showed a gradual improvement in student learning outcomes. The percentage of students who met the learning mastery criteria increased from 33,3% in the pre-cycle to 50% in the first cycle, where interactive PowerPoint was used. In the second cycle, after implementing the QR Book media, mastery increased to 83,3%. These findings indicate that the combination of QR Book and CRT approach effectively enhances student motivation, participation, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low Mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN 060857 Medan who have not yet reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) of 70. Based on initial observations, students have difficulty in understanding the concept of fractions. This study aims to improve Mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education Approach (PMRI). The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was implemented in two cycles in the 2024/2025 Academic Year with a total of 28 students. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results of the study indicate that the PMRI approach is effective in improving learning outcomes. In cycle I, 19 students (67%) achieved the KKM. After improvements and adjustments to learning in cycle II, the number of students achieving the KKM increased to 26 (92%). In addition, teacher activity and student involvement in the learning process also increased. Thus, the PMRI approach is proven to be able to create contextual and meaningful learning, as well as improve Mathematics learning outcomes in fractions.
