Abstract

Berkembanganya konsep interaksi dan komunikasi sering dipergunakan tetapi mungkin diartikan secara berbeda-beda. Pada kenyataanya konsep interaksi akan berkembang menjadi interaksi sosial dan berujung pada aktivitas berupa komunikasi dan melalui komunikasi individu akan merasakan kepuasan, kesenangan atau mendapatkan pengetahuan (informasi) yang akan menunjang terhadap perkembangan individu. Selanjutnya interaksi simbolik juga tidak bisa dilepaskan dari proses komunikasi, karena awalnya makna itu tidak ada artinya, sampai pada akhirnya di konstruksi secara interpretif oleh individu melalui proses interaksi, untuk menciptakan makna yang dapat disepakati secara bersama dimana asumsi-asumsi itu adalah sebagai berikut: Manusia bertindak terhadap manusia lainnya berdasarkan makna yang diberikan orang lain kepada mereka serta konvergensi simbolik didasarkan pada gagasan bahwa para anggota dalam kelompok harus bertukar fantasi dalam rangka untuk membentuk kelompok yang kohesif artinya individu terlibat dalam berkomunikasi untuk bertukar pengalaman-pengalaman.

Abstract

Aset terpenting yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan adalah sumber daya manusia (SDM). Untuk menjaga kualitas SDM maka pihak manajemen melakukan penilaian kinerja terhadap setiap pekerjaan pegawainya. Penilaian kinerja dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja atau prestasi pegawai. Cara yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja atau prestasi pegawai salah satunya adalah dengan pemberian kompensasi berupa insentif setiap periode tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pegawai yang paling layak mendapatkan insentif berdasarkan kinerja pada periode tertentu. Data pegawai yang diolah dalam penelitian ini adalah data pegawai tetap yang ada di Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi Medan (UNPAB). Insentif diberikan berdasarkan prestasi kinerja para pegawai yang ditinjau oleh manajemen melalui penilaian kinerja. Penilaian kinerja pegawai dinilai dari pencapaian target kerja aspek kelembagaan dan aspek individual masing-masing pegawai. Sehingga dengan metode MOORA ini diharapkan dapat membantu manajemen dalam memilih pegawai yang paling layak menerima insentif.

Abstract

Improving public services is a form of government participation in serving the community. Public complaint is a form of participation to play a role in building its environment and as a form of supervision of the performance of government agencies. Reports and aspirations of the community can be used as input to evaluate policies and regulations that have been made or regulations that have been implemented and to find out the problems that exist in the community effectively, quickly and up to date and can directly provide solutions and solutions to exit. The Office of Housing and Settlement Area of Binjai City has the main task of assisting the Governor in implementing decentralization and decentralization authority in the field of Housing, Residential Areas and Land in accordance with the policies stipulated by the laws and regulations. The construction of illegal settlements, because the community must come to the office of the Housing and Settlement Office of Binjai City to report the incident. This becomes ineffective and efficient due to the number of subdistricts that are far from the city center, remote communities become difficult to complain to the Housing Office and Binjai City Residential Area. For this reason, a web-based community complaint service information system is needed to make it easier for people to report all problems. This facility is expected to help connect the community with the Housing Office and Binjai City Residential Area as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze and design a website which is a technology that is very influential on educational science during the current pandemic, so we need a technology that can support the course of learning and exams. One of them is about the technology of Exam Preparation Applications Using Web-Based Randomized Methods at SMA Negeri 1 Pantai Cermin. The exam itself is an activity that is carried out regularly to measure the achievement of student competencies after completing one or more basic competencies. The research method used consists of several stages of research, namely data collection, system analysis and software design. The data collection method used is observation and literature study. System analysis and design method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD) using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and user interface system design. The application is made on two sides, namely the admin application and the user application. The programming language used for software development is PHP and the server uses MySQL as the database. The result of this research is an online exam website-based application for preparation for the national exam and uses a random method that can later be used by teachers and students. The application of this application can provide convenience for teachers and students in the process of working on computerized exam practice questions and can immediately see exam results quickly.

Abstract

The need for a website is very important in an institution in the current digital era, including the Electrical Engineering Study Program at the University of Panca Budi Medan. Through the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program, students can apply their ideas and creativity in developing a website. With the help of the Codeigniter PHP programming framework, creating dynamic websites is easier to use because the CodeIgniter framework implements the Model, View and Controller methods. In developing a website application, a design method is also needed and in this study the author uses the Waterfall method in designing the system.

Abstract

In today's technological advances, certificates exist not only in physical printed form but also in the form of documents that can be accessed anytime and anywhere online. In every training activity carried out by LPK Global Skill Mandiri, it always provides certificates to its participants. By creating an e-certificate system, every participant who takes part in the training will receive an online certificate which can be downloaded on a website-based system. To produce a system that suits user needs, this system was designed using the Agile method. With the help of the CodeIgniter framework, which is a framework in the PHP programming language that applies the MVC (Model, View, Controller) model, as well as with data storage media using RDBMS MySQL.

Abstract

Menjawab tantangan global, pendidikan seyogyanya mampu menjadi tameng utama dalam menanamkan karakter dan softskills kepada peserta didik. Dalam konteks ini, upaya mengembangkan kreativitas siswa adalah perihal yang harus diprioritaskan dalam pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran guru IPS memberikan pembelajaran dalam pengembangan kreativitas siswa, sub-materi IPS Ekonomi siswa jenjang SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan. Adapun sumber data dan bahan analisa kajian diperoleh dari buku, artikel, prosiding, dan tugas akhir, diakses melalui laman kredibel Google Scholar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran guru IPS dalam menyiapkan generasi kreatif sangatlah penting (dibutuhkan). Adapun bentuk pengembangan kreativitas siswa yang diharapkan meliputi (1) semangat berinovasi, (2) berpikir divergent, (3) imajinatif, penuh ide (gagasan) rasional, (4) perbaikan kualitas diri secara kontiniu, (5) memelihara rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi, (6) berani mengambil keputusan dan bertanggung jawab atas segala risiko, (7) bersikap fleksibel, dan (8) siap menerima masukan, saran atau kritik dari orang lain.

Abstract

This research aims to interpret the value system built by pesantren and its existence as social capital. It is believed to inspire, influence, and mobilize individual social actions and behavior in society. Thus, this research employed a qualitative approach through Pierre Bourdieu’s social practice theory regarding practice (action and behavior) as the outcome of the interaction between an individual’s habitus and available capital within a specific domain/field. It produces a grounded theory to provide a holistic and comprehensive understanding. This research practically shows some findings. First, pesantren values ​​result from creating creative individuals based on the logic of thought and scientific genealogy of kiai based on their understanding of various Islamic texts, which then inspire the formation of a value system. Second, the existence of these values ​​is made into a shared belief and transmitted within the pesantren institution so that, in the end, it becomes part of the pesantren tradition. Third, the habitualization of pesantren values ​​is understood as social capital and can be used as a core value in building a moderate Islamic education model. So, it then shapes the character or attitude of tawassuth, tawāzun, tasāmuh, tahadhdhur, musāwah, i'tidāl, al-Islāh, tathawur wa Ibtikār, and shurā, according to the typology of each pesantren.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to re-analyze the use of the inquiry learning model to improve the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade elementary students. This type of research uses meta-analysis research. This research begins by formulating a research problem and then searching for relevant journals or articles to analyze. The data collection technique uses non-tests by searching and browsing relevant journals or articles through Google Scholar. The results of this research showed that the learning model could improve the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students, ranging from the lowest 9.66% to the highest 36.54%, with an average increase of 23.17%. Based on the results of calculating the effect size for the 10 journals or articles studied, an effect size of d = 3.41 was obtained, which means d = 3.41 > 1.30. It can be concluded that the positive influence is in the very high category. This means that the inquiry learning model has a very high influence on improving the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students
