Abstract

Jusmika. 2022. “Patterns of Cultural Communication of Overseas Students in Facing Culture Shock (Case Study of Bima Students in Makassar City)”. (Supervised by Hadawiah and Zelfia) Thesis. Department of Communication Studies, Faculty of Letters, Muslim University of Indonesia. Culture shock occurs when individuals enter a new environment with a different culture, so the habits, norms, customs and values ​​that they have known so far cannot be applied in the new environment where they live. This phenomenon occurs in Bima overseas students. The aims of this study are 1. To determine the cultural communication patterns of Bima students in dealing with Culture shock while wandering in the city of Makassar 2. To determine the adaptation process of Bima overseas students in Makassar City. This study uses a qualitative method with the object of research, namely the Bima overseas students in Makassar City. The data collection used in this study used in-depth and semi-structured interviews to obtain results and complete information as required by the researcher. The results of this study are the cultural communication pattern of Bima students in dealing with Culture shock in Makassar City in this study is a primary communication pattern where the process of conveying thoughts or ideas by Bima students to their environment uses symbols as the medium, and students who experience the greatest culture shock are experienced by students. immigrants who are still categorized as new students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the communication management process of PT. PELNI LOGISTISCS in providing logistics services and customer feedback regarding the services received. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation, and interviews. This research lasted for approximately 1 month and is located on Jl. General Sudirman No. 38 Makassar. The informants in this study were operational and administrative staff, general manager and terminal manager who used to serve customers and two of the customers of PT. PELNI LOGISTISCS which is able to provide information related to research. The results of the study, it can be concluded that the communication management process has 4 stages, namely, the first is careful planning, neat and good organization, the implementation goes according to a predetermined plan and the last is controlling or evaluating what has been done which is certainly supported by the staff. already experienced in their respective fields so that customers get comfort and satisfaction with the services they get and of course it will have an impact on the good image of the company.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: (1) How is the Traditional Marriage Process of the Bugis Society in Pangkep Regency. (2) What is the Meaning of the Marriage Tradition of the Bugis Society of Pangkep Regency. (3) How is the Communication Pattern on the Marriage Customs of the Bugis Community in Pangkep Regency.This research lasted for one month and was located in the Pangkep Regency area. precisely in the Padanglampe Village with (6) six informants of which they were people from Pangkep Regency. The research method used is a qualitative research method. with data collection techniques carried out in two ways. namely primary data and secondary data. The data collection method is by conducting observations. interviews. documentation. literature studies and phenomenological methods.The results show that the Bugis community marriage process in Pangkep district has three stages. the first stage before marriage there are 5 traditions. the second stage of marriage there are 5 traditions then the post-wedding stage there are 2 traditions. in that tradition certainly saves some deep meanings. and there are also elements of primary and circular communication patterns.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how to Optimize Organizational Communication in Improving the Quality of Human Resources in Creativity Training of PT. Port of Indonesia (Persero) Regional 4 Makassar and how the process of implementing Organizational Communication on Improving the Quality of Human Resources in Employee Creativity Training pt. Port of Indonesia (Persero) Regional 4 Makassar. The type of research used was qualitative descriptive research with informants in this study as many as four (4) people. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study, it can be concluded that employee training is one of the important activities for developing human resources. The training is only carried out 3 (Three times) a year. The forms of organizational communication that occur include communication from top to bottom, namely the delivery of messages or work instructions of PT. Port of Indonesia (Persero) Regional 4 Makassar to all employees of each division.

Abstract

Strategy corporate public relations is a management function that creates, maintains, and maintains good and beneficial relationships between an organization and the public that can influence the success or failure of the organization. This research is focused to find out about the strategy of the company's corporate public relations in maintaining the product image of IndiHome PT. Telkom at Witel Makassar and secondly to find out about the product image of IndiHome PT. Telkom Makassar in Minasa Upa Village, Rappocini District. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation, and interviews. By using three theories, namely Image Theory, Theory of Integration and Attitude Change, and Excellent Theory. This research lasted for approximately 1 month located on Jl. Balaikota No. 04 Makassar. The informants in this study were General Manager & GS, Customer Care Manager, Corporate Secretary of IndiHome Telkom Witel Makassar, and the community of Minasa Upa Village, Rappocini District, Makassar City. The results show that IndiHome Telkom Witel Makassar's strategy in maintaining its image is to continue to provide excellent service which is the main key to staying good in the eyes of its customers and the image of Telkom's IndiHome products in the eyes of the community, especially in Minasa Upa Village, Rappocini District is very diverse.

Abstract

pengambilan keputusan vaksin Covid-19 di Kelurahan Bakung Kecamatan Biringkanaya Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan survei terhadap warga Kelurahan Bakung Kecamatan Biringkanaya Kota Makassar. Unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah individual dengan sampel sebanyak 100 responden dan data di analisis dengan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengujian hipotesis (Uji t) opini publik berpengaruh terhadap pengambilan keputusan vaksinasi Covid-19 di Kelurahan Bakung Kecamatan Biringkanaya Kota Makassar.

Abstract

Kabupaten Luwu Timur merupakan daerah yang memiliki potensi pariwisata yang sangat besar sesuai dengan nama daerahnya “Bumi Batara Guru” sajian panorama alam yang sangat indah alami dalam dimensi pegunungan dan lautan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui aktivitas promosi Dinas Pariwisata dalam menyebarluasakan informasi objek wisata Anjungan Sungai Malili. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif analisis deskriptif. Kualitatif dipilih dikarenakan penelitian akan menggambarkan secara lengkap mengenai proses yang ada untuk mengetahui aktifitas promosi Dinas Pariwisata dalam menyebarluaskan informasi objek wisata Anjungan Sungai Malili. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Aktifitas promosi pariwisata sejauh ini sudah berjalan lancar, karena adanya kemajuan tentang pengembangan potensi di Anjungan Sungai Malili. Terdapat juga beberapa dukungan baik dari masyarakat yang secara tidak langsung mendukung aktifitas promosi yang dilakukan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh informasi covid-19 dalam media sosial Facebook terhadap pengambilan keputusan vaksin masyarakat Kecamatan Palibelo Kabupaten Bima. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pengambilan sampel berjumlah 100 responden dan data diolah dengan program SPSS. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh antara variabel X (Informasi Vaksinasi) terhadap Variabel Y (Pengambilan Keputusan) yang menjelaskan bahwa informasi vaksinasi covid-19 berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengambilan keputusan vaksin masyarakat. Pengaruh Facebook sebagai media pemberitaan informasi vaksin covid-19 terhadap pengambilan keputusan vaksin masyarakat sebesar 68,3 %.

Abstract

Penelitian ini Bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar Pengaruh Iklan Shopee terhadap Pemanfaatan E-Commerce di kalangan remaja kecamatan manggala Kota Makassar. Metode yang digunakan adalah Metode Korelasional dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 50 orang responden sumber data dari remaja Kecamatan Manggala Kota Makassar. Dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin, diperoleh sampel sebanyak 50 orang responden. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan penyebaran kuesioner. Adapun Teori yang digunakan adalah Teori Selective Influence dan AIDDA. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, analisi regresi linear sederhana dan uji hipotesis. Uji Hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus uji t dan korelasi product moment dengan hasil Hipotesis Diterima, yaitu terdapat Pengaruh Iklan Shopee terhadap Pemanfaatan E-Commerce di kalangan Remaja Kecamatan Manggala Kota Makassar. Dari hasil perhitungan Uji Hipotesis, bahwa Hubungan (Korelasional) Variabel X terhadap Y memiliki hubungan yang cukup berarti. Jadi Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Hubungan Iklan Shopee dengan Pemanfaatan E-Commerce memiliki hubungan yang Signifikan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana manajemen komunikasi di Dinas Kebudayaan dan Kepariwisataan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan dalam program pengembangan Geopark Maros-Pangkep menuju UNESCO. (2) bagaimana jaringan komunikasi di Dinas Kebudayaan dan Kepariwisataan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan dalam program pengembangan Geopark Maros-Pangkep. Penelelitian ini berlangsung selama kurang lebih 2 bulan mulai November sampai Desember 2022. Berlokasi Kantor Dinas Kebudayaan dan Kepariwisataan Provinsi Sulawesi selatan Jl. Jend. Sudirman No.23, Mangkura, Kec. Ujung Pandang, Kota Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan dengan informan sebanyak 3 (tiga) orang yang dimana mereka bekerja di lokasi penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif analisis deskriptif, dengan tekhnik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil yang ditemukan dalam manajemen komunikasi di dinas kebudayaan dan kepariwisataan dalam pengembangan geopark MarosPangkep yaitu melakukan kordinasi di berbagai pihak yang bentuknya rapat atau oertemuan khusus dan jaringan komunkasi di dinas kebudayaan dan kepariwisataan dalam program pengembangan geopark Maros-Pangkep yaitu melakukan jaringan komunikasi di pemerinth provinsi Sulawesi selatan dan pemerintah kabupaten Maros-Pangkep dan tiga kementrian di indonesia yaitu Kementrian SDM, Kementrian Pariwisata dan Kementrian Bappenas.
