Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline and compensation on employee productivity with motivation as a moderating variable at PT. Ilham Jaya Lestari. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach through the distribution of questionnaires to 112 respondents. Data analysis techniques include multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to test the moderation effect. The results show that work discipline and compensation have a positive and significant influence on employee productivity. Additionally, motivation is proven to strengthen the relationship between work discipline and compensation on productivity. This indicates that increasing motivation can enhance the effectiveness of work discipline and compensation in driving employee productivity. The implications of this study suggest that the company needs to improve work discipline through stricter policies and a fairer, performance-based compensation system. Furthermore, the company is advised to strengthen employee motivation through incentives and creating a more conducive work environment. This study contributes to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth. By understanding the factors that influence employee productivity, the findings help the company design fairer and performance-based policies regarding compensation and work discipline. Additionally, increasing employee motivation can support the creation of a healthier, more productive, and sustainable work environment, aligning with SDG 8's goal of improving labor productivity and employee well-being

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi khususnya dalam membaca dan menulis merupakan keterampilan dasar yang sangat penting bagi perkembangan pendidikan anak. Namun, rendahnya minat baca dan menulis di kalangan siswa membutuhkan pendekatan yang inovatif dan kreatif untuk membangkitkan minat dan kemampuan literasi siswa. Penggunaan metode kreatif, seperti permainan kata, drama, dan visualisasi cerita, dapat membantu siswa memahami materi dengan lebih mudah dan menyenangkan. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi membaca dan menulis siswa di SD Negeri 027 Palembang melalui pendekatan kreatif yang melibatkan metode bermain peran, bercerita, dan kegiatan menulis kreatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode partisipatif dengan melibatkan guru dan siswa secara aktif dalam setiap tahap pelaksanaan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam minat dan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca dan menulis. Selain itu, guru juga memperoleh pelatihan dalam penerapan metode kreatif sehingga dapat mengimplementasikannya secara berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa metode kreatif mampu meningkatkan minat membaca dan menulis sebesar 75%, kemampuan membaca sebesar 40% dan kemampuan menulis sebesar 50%, serta mampu membangun keterampilan sosial dan kepercayaan diri siswa. Disarankan agar dilakukan pengembangan program berkelanjutan, pelatihan guru, kolaborasi dengan pihak luar, evaluasi dan monitoring berkala dan pihak sekolah agar terus mengadopsi metode kreatif dalam pembelajaran literasi serta melibatkan orang tua dalam mendukung kegiatan membaca dan menulis di rumah.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, resiliensi, dan beban kerja terhadap kesehatan mental karyawan di PT. Andara Angkasa Utama, sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang event organizer. Metode yang dipergunakan ialah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei mempergunakan kuesioner tertutup. Sampel penelitian ini ialah seluruh karyawan perusahaan sebanyak 65 orang yang diambil dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Analisis data dilaksanakan mempergunakan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 25, yang mencakup uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik (normalitas, multikolinearitas, serta heteroskedastisitas), analisis regresi linear berganda, serta uji t dan F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial maupun simultan, ketiga variabel independen berdampak positif serta signifikan atas kesehatan mental karyawan. Kecerdasan emosional menjadi variabel dominan yang paling berpengaruh, diikuti oleh resiliensi dan beban kerja. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 62,6% menunjukkan bahwa variabel-variabel tersebut mampu menjelaskan variabilitas kesehatan mental secara signifikan. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya strategi perusahaan dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional dan resiliensi karyawan serta mengelola beban kerja secara proporsional untuk mendukung kesehatan mental dan produktivitas kerja yang optimal.     ABSTRACT This study seeks to examine the impact of emotional intelligence, resilience, and workload on employee mental health at PT Andara Angkasa Utama, a firm specializing in event organization. The employed methodology is a quantitative approach utilizing survey techniques with closed-ended questionnaires. The study's sample comprised all 65 employees of the organization, selected using a saturation sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted utilizing SPSS version 25 software, encompassing validity, reliability, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity), multiple linear regression analysis, and t and F tests. The findings indicated that both partially and concurrently, the three independent variables exerted a favorable and significant influence on employee mental health. Emotional intelligence is the most significant variable, succeeded by resilience and workload. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 62.6% signifies that the variables substantially account for the diversity in mental health. The findings underscore the significance of corporate policies in enhancing employees' emotional intelligence and resilience, as well as in proportionately managing workload to promote optimal mental health and productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of human resource development (X₁) and human resource empowerment (X₂) on employee performance (Y) at PT. Hijau Lestari Raya Fibreboard, Banyuasin Regency. Human resource development includes training, skill enhancement, and continuous education for employees, while human resource empowerment focuses on increasing motivation, engagement, and autonomy in the workplace. Employee performance is measured based on productivity, efficiency, and work quality. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of the company. The data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to determine the influence of the independent variables (X₁ and X₂) on the dependent variable (Y). The results indicate that both human resource development (X₁) and human resource empowerment (X₂) have a positive and significant impact on employee performance (Y). Skill development and opportunities for participation in decision-making have been proven to enhance work effectiveness and productivity. Therefore, the company is recommended to continuously improve training programs and empower employees to achieve optimal performance. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of leadership, work discipline, and compensation on team performance at PT Indosat Ooredoo Sales Area Palembang. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving 92 respondents who are employees of the company. Data were collected through questionnaires and processed using multiple linear regression analysis to test the impact of the three independent variables on the dependent variable, which is team performance. The results show that leadership and work discipline have a significant impact on team performance, while compensation does not show a significant effect. The results of the simultaneous test concluded that the independent variables simultaneously, namely Leadership, Work Discipline, and Compensation, had a significant influence on the dependent variable, namely Team Performance. These findings provide insights for the company to enhance team performance by improving leadership and strengthening work discipline. This study also suggests the importance of improving compensation strategies to increase employee motivation and performance.

Abstract

This study a$ims to a$na$lyze$ the$ impa$ct of workloa$d a$nd physica$l work e$nvironme$nt on turnove$r inte$ntion a$mong e$mploye$e$s a$t the$ RJ Ba$tu Ba$ta$ Fa$ctory in Ba$nyua$sin. The$ sa$mple$ use$d in this study consiste$d of 66 re$sponde$nts se$le$cte$d through purposive$ sa$mpling. The$ re$se$a$rch me$thod e$mploye$d wa$s multiple$ line$a$r re$gre$ssion a$na$lysis. The$ re$sults indica$te$ tha$t both workloa$d a$nd physica$l work e$nvironme$nt ha$ve$ a$ positive$ a$nd significa$nt impa$ct on e$mploye$e$s' turnove$r inte$ntion. The$ re$sults of the$ simulta$ne$ous te$st show tha$t the$se$ two va$ria$ble$s significa$ntly influe$nce$ e$mploye$e$s' te$nde$ncy to le$a$ve$ the$ compa$ny. Abstract

Decisions related to financing and investment are crucial for the sustainability and progress of businesses in the chemical goods industry. Various internal and external factors influence these decisions, one of which is the demographic category of corporate decision makers, such as gender, age, and education. The purpose of this study is to determine how the gender, age, and education level of CEOs impact financing and investment decisions in Indonesia's chemical goods industry. Quantitative methods and secondary data were used in this study, with the research sample selected using purposive sampling. The subjects of the study were 21 chemical industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study utilized a multiple linear regression model. The results of the study indicate that the age variable influences funding decisions but does not influence investment decisions, while the gender and education variables do not influence either funding or investment decisions.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian lokal, namun kerap menghadapi kendala pada aspek inovasi dan pengemasan. Desa Muara Damai, Kecamatan Sembawa, Kabupaten Banyuasin memiliki potensi pangan lokal berupa daun singkong yang selama ini hanya dimanfaatkan sebagai sayuran. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, daun singkong diperkenalkan sebagai produk baru berupa keripik dengan pendampingan inovasi pengemasan. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui observasi, pelatihan pembuatan keripik, praktik bersama masyarakat, serta pengemasan menggunakan plastik klip bening berlabel sederhana. Hasil menunjukkan masyarakat antusias mengikuti pelatihan, keripik daun singkong berhasil diproduksi untuk pertama kalinya, dan respons konsumen lokal terhadap rasa dan tampilan cukup positif. Inovasi kemasan sederhana turut memperkuat identitas produk. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini menjadi langkah awal pemberdayaan UMKM desa sekaligus membuka peluang pengembangan produk khas lokal ke pasar yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Koperasi, khususnya di daerah pedesaan, dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan anggota dan memperkuat ekonomi masyarakat. Namun, banyak koperasi masih menghadapi kesulitan untuk membuat rencana bisnis awal, sehingga bisnis tidak memiliki arah strategis yang jelas. Tujuan dari program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk membantu Koperasi Merah Putih di Desa Muara Damai, Kecamatan Sembawa, Kabupaten Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan, membuat rencana bisnis awal yang sistematis. Proses pelaksanaan mencakup tahap persiapan, pelatihan, pendampingan intensif, dan evaluasi melalui tes awal dan tes akhir. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pengurus dan anggota koperasi telah memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang proses penyusunan rencana bisnis. Rencana bisnis awal ini juga mencakup visi, misi, tujuan usaha, identifikasi produk, strategi pemasaran, perencanaan operasional, dan proyeksi keuangan. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan kapasitas kelembagaan koperasi serta memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk pengembangan usaha ke depan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKMasyarakat Desa Muara Damai, Kecamatan Sembawa, Banyuasin, masih menghadapi kesulitan dalam memulai usaha kecil. Karena kurangnya pengetahuan tentang kewirausahaan, keahlian manajemen, dan sumber daya pemasaran yang tersedia, Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik (KKN-T) dirancang untuk meningkatkan semangat wirausaha, meningkatkan kemampuan pengelolaan usaha, dan memanfaatkan potensi lokal desa. Metode deskriptif partisipatif digunakan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan melalui penyuluhan, diskusi, simulasi, dan pendampingan usaha. Lebih dari empat puluh orang tergabung dalam masyarakat desa yang terdiri dari pelaku UMKM, kelompok tani, karang taruna, dan perangkat desa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta lebih memahami konsep kewirausahaan, lebih memahami cara membuat rencana bisnis sederhana, lebih memahami pengelolaan keuangan, lebih memahami strategi pemasaran, dan lebih tertarik untuk memulai bisnis sendiri. Selain itu, sebagai langkah awal menuju kemandirian ekonomi desa yang berkelanjutan, terbentuk jaringan kolaborasi antara masyarakat, usaha kecil dan menengah (UMKM) dan pemerintah desa.Kata kunci: Kewirausahaan, pemberdayaan masyarakat, KKN-T, Desa Muara Damai ABSTRACTThe community of Muara Damai Village, Sembawa District, Banyuasin, still faces difficulties in starting small businesses. Due to a lack of entrepreneurial knowledge, management skills, and available marketing resources, the Thematic Community Service Program (KKN-T) was designed to foster entrepreneurial spirit, improve business management skills, and utilize the village's local potential. Participatory descriptive methods were used to implement the activities through outreach, discussions, simulations, and business mentoring. More than forty people joined the village community, consisting of MSMEs, farmer groups, youth organizations, and village officials. The results of the activity showed that participants gained a better understanding of the concept of entrepreneurship, a better understanding of how to create a simple business plan, a better understanding of financial management, a better understanding of marketing strategies, and a greater interest in starting their own businesses. Furthermore, as a first step toward sustainable village economic independence, a collaborative network was formed between the community, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and the village government. Keywords: Entrepreneurship, community empowerment, KKN-T, Muara Damai Village
