Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan strategi yang digunakan guru di Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) Nurul Falah di Panyabungan Barat dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan moral anak usia dini. Kecerdasan moral merupakan aspek penting dalam tumbuh kembang anak yang tidak hanya mencakup pemahaman etika dan nilai, namun juga kemampuannya dalam mengambil keputusan moral yang tepat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara dengan guru, dan analisis dokumen terkait kurikulum dan materi pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan beberapa strategi yang digunakan guru PAUD Nurul Falah untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan moral anak, antara lain Model Perilaku, Cerita Moral, Diskusi Kelompok, Kegiatan Kolaboratif dan Penguatan Positif: Penggunaan penguatan positif seperti pujian dan penghargaan untuk mendukung perilaku moral yang diinginkan.

Abstract

Education is an important tool and a very effective tool in teaching norms, applying values, and instilling work persistence in a community group. Education is also an interaction that occurs between a teacher and students to achieve a goal in education. Students are an important factor in the world of education so that the goals of the learning process are achieved. This research aims to determine teacher strategies in developing existential intelligence in early childhood at PAUD Ismailiyah Mandailing Natal. The method used in this research is a qualitative method and a descriptive approach. The findings of this research show that developing existential intelligence in early childhood is by applying the Multiple Intelligence theory. The Multiple Intelligence concept believes that no child is stupid, because every child must have at least one advantage. If these advantages can be identified from the start, automatically the advantages will be the child's potential intelligence

Abstract

This study aimed to find an effective solution in improving learners' understanding of Islamic Religious Education through the application of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model. This case study was relevant because it can provide valuable insights into how to overcome students' learning difficulties and improve the quality of Islamic learning in high school education. The subject of this reseacrh was ten students who was taught by using the jigsaw learning strategy. The teachers conducted a curriculum analysis to determine the competency standards and basic competencies that would be delivered to students using this model. Students' learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Education were classified as Good, with an overall average percentage of 71 falling within the 66-79 interval. The improvement in student learning outcomes from Cycle I to Cycle II suggested that the implemented improvements in teaching could address the challenges faced. The Jigsaw approach can enhance collaboration among students, allowing them to share knowledge and understanding of various aspects of Islamic Education. By dividing the lesson material into small parts, each student takes responsibility to understand and teach a specific part. The implication of this research underscores the importance of implementing appropriate learning approaches tailored to students' characteristics, such as Jigsaw, to enhance their understanding of PAI subjects, particularly for students facing learning difficulties.

Abstract

Religious education is one of the important issues that needs to be discussed because it is related to the way religious education is delivered in schools that often do not promote good multicultural education, and even tend to create divisions. The application of various learning methodologies and management is required as part of the endeavor to enhance Islamic learning outcomes. Jigsaw learning and its modified forms have been utilized in educational contexts more frequently than other cooperative learning methodologies because of its potential. This type of research is literature review research or literature study. Through library research, this study used a descriptive qualitative methodology and the literature study method. The Jigsaw method or type is a cooperative learning method by which students learn in small groups of four to six people heterogeneously. Students work together in positive interdependence and are independently responsible. In this learning, students also have many opportunities to express their opinions and can improve communication skills. The initial jigsaw method's adoption was successful in raising students' involvement in Islamic religious education learning in a number of ways, as seen by the findings. Students felt more engaged and proactive in the learning process when given structured group assignments. These results should help teachers make the best decision when it comes to teaching character education, particularly when it comes to developing mutual respect.

Abstract

AbstrakTulisan ini menjelaskan terdapat beberapa cara bisa ditempuh untuk keluar dari masalah pandemic ini. Sebagai umat Islam, solusi yang ditawarkan tidak hanya bersifat sementara yaitu selamat di dunia tapi juga selamat dan berbahagia di akhirat. Adapun jalan yang terbaik untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini dua cara yaitu ikhtiyar dan berdoa/bertawakkal. Ikhtiyar, yaitu usaha sungguh-sungguh seseorang, yang dilakukan untuk bisa keluar dari suatu masalah yang ditimpakan kepadanya. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan handphone terhadap karakter dan proses belajar siswa kelas VIII MTs Nurul Fathimiyah Tembung. Metode kualitatif dengan observasi dan wawancara digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari siswa, guru dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan handphone yang berlebihan berdampak negatif pada kedisiplinan, konsentrasi, dan sikap empati siswa, sehingga mengganggu proses belajar dan interaksi sosial di sekolah. Penggunaan handphone yang tidak terkontrol menurunkan efektivitas pembelajaran dan membentuk karakter yang kurang baik. Oleh karena itu, peran aktif orang tua dan guru sangat penting dalam mengawasi dan mengarahkan penggunaan handphone. Penguatan pendidikan karakter dan penerapan aturan yang jelas sangat diperlukan agar handphone dapat dimanfaatkan secara positif demi mendukung prestasi akademik dan perkembangan kepribadian siswa secara optimal

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) To determine the efforts of PAI teachers in overcoming difficulties in reading the Al-Qur'an in class VIII E of SMP Negeri 40 Medan, 2) To determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for PAI teachers in reading the Al-Qur'an in class VIII E of SMP Negeri 40 Medan. This research is a type of field research (field research) and is descriptive qualitative in nature. Data sources in this research include primary sources and secondary sources. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the PAI teacher's efforts are optimal for the students, because the teacher is required to solve the problems that exist within the students. One effort to overcome students' difficulties in reading the Al-Qur'an is by applying the talaqqi method where students imitate the PAI teacher's reading of the Al-Qur'an

Abstract

Tulisanini penguatan Pendidikan karakter menjadi sangat penting mengingat kondisi krisis moral, dimana generasi muda perlu bekal untuk membentengi diri dari pengaruh lingkungan yang buruk. Maka sekolah sebagai tempat menimba ilmu memeliki tanggung jawab yang besar dalam memecahkan masalah tersebut sehingga nantinya terbentuk karakter peserta didik yang baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui stretegi penguatan Pendidikan karakter, penghambat, dan pendukung dalam strategi penguatan pendidikan karakter berbasis Al-Quran di SMA IT Jabal Noor Medan Sunggal. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Objek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI, guru, dan kepala sekolah. Observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi digunakan sebagai instrumen data. Data analisis menggunakan tiga acara, yaitu kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendidikan karakter berbasis Al-Quran di SMA IT Jabal Noor Medan Sunggal dilakukan dengan memasukkan nilai-nilai siddiq, amanah, tabliq, dan fathonah pada kegiatan pembiasaan, peneladanan, penugasan, serta menyediakan sarana parasarana untuk menciptakan kondisi yang mendukung terlaksananya penerapan pendidikan karakter berbasis Al-Quran di sekolah tersebut. Hambatan dan tantangan dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter berbasis Al-Quran di SMA IT Jabal Noor Medan Sunggal adalah kurangnya kesadaran siswa yang mana diusia tersebut masih cenderung labil dan belum teguh pendiriannya dan tidak semua guru mampu menjadi teladan yang dapat menginspirasi siswa karna kemampuan setiap guru berbeda-beda.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas internalisasi nilai-nilai spiritual melalui pendidikan karakter pada anak usia dini di PAUD Ummul Habibah, Kecamatan Hamparan Perak, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan pada usia dini memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk sikap, moral, dan spiritual anak, yang nantinya menjadi fondasi bagi perkembangan mereka di masa depan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari guru, orang tua, dan siswa PAUD Ummul Habibah.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendidikan karakter yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai spiritual, seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kepedulian, dan rasa syukur, terbukti efektif dalam membentuk karakter positif pada anak. Guru-guru di PAUD Ummul Habibah berhasil menginternalisasi nilai-nilai tersebut melalui kegiatan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan berkesinambungan, seperti doa bersama, bercerita, dan aktivitas kelompok yang melibatkan interaksi antar siswa. Orang tua juga dilibatkan dalam mendukung implementasi pendidikan karakter di rumah, sehingga proses internalisasi nilai spiritual dapat terjadi secara berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa internalisasi nilai-nilai spiritual melalui pendidikan karakter pada anak usia dini memiliki dampak positif dalam membangun landasan karakter yang kuat pada anak.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of a love-based curriculum in developing the character of santri at Pondok Pesantren Modern Darul Ulum Al-Muhajirin, Langkat Regency. This curriculum integrates five main values, namely love for Allah, the Messenger of Allah, knowledge, fellow humans, and the homeland, which are applied in various aspects of pesantren life. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study design, which involves in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The results showed that the love-based curriculum succeeded in shaping the character of better santri, with improvements in discipline, empathy, social responsibility, and love for knowledge and the homeland. Although the implementation of this curriculum shows positive results, the main challenge faced is the influence of globalization and technology that often conflicts with pesantren values. Overall, the love-based curriculum at Pondok Pesantren Modern Darul Ulum Al-Muhajirin can be an effective model in developing the character of students, who are not only academically intelligent, but also have noble character and care for others and the homeland.
