Thesis Title "Knowledge and Application of Tri Hita Karana in Subak to Support Sustainable Horticulture Food Agriculture (The Case of Subak Mungkagan, Sembung Village, Mengwi, Badung Regency)"Bali historically owns traditions, culture and religious commitment of its own in the form of an organization called Subak. All Subaks in Bali apply the concept of Tri Hita Karana one of them being Subak Mungkagan. The purpose of this research was to determine the level of knowledge, and the farmers’ application of Tri Hita Karana in Subak Mungkagan to support sustainable crop farming, in the village of Sembung, Mengwi, Badung regency. Subak Mungkagan population numbered 161 people. The determination of samples used quota sampling and random sampling. The respondents taken amounted to 32 people. The results showed that the farmers’ knowledge of Tri Hita Karana in Subak Mungkagan to support sustainable horticulture agriculture, village Sembung, Mengwi, Badung belonged to the excellent category by achieving a score of 4.28. The level of implementation of the Tri Hita Karana by farmers in Subak Mungkagan to support sustainable food crops, also belonged to the excellent category by achieving a score of 4.17. Based on the research it can be suggested the existence of sanctuaries and their use has been complete, what needs to be considered is the cleanliness after praying in the temple area. Extension in Subak Mungkagan is only done twice a year, it should have been done five times a year, so that knowledge and application of Tri Hita Karana aspects Palemahan in particular in Mungkagan Subak is related to the relationship of Subak members with the surrounding environment.

The Farmer’s Motivation In Cultivating The Papaya Calina Plant(Carica papaya L) (The Farmer’s Group of Calina Papaya at Sulangai Village, onPetang District, in Badung Regency). Sulangai village is the village where most of the villagers work as a farmer. One of thefarmer’s work done by the farmer in that village is papaya calina. Based on thedescription above, it’s interesting to analyze about the motivation faced by the farmer incultivating the papaya calina plant at Sulangai village, on Petang district, in Badungregency. The purpose of this research is to know the farmer’s motivation in cultivatingthe papaya calina plant at Sulangai village, on Petang district, in Badung regency. Theresearch held at sulangai village, on Petang district, in Badung regency particularly infarmer’s group of papaya calina. The location of the research is based on the purposivemethod which is determination of the research location deliberately. The population inthis research is 20 farmers.Based on the research data, the intrinsic motivation of the farmer cultivating the papayacalina plant at Sulangai village, on Petang district, in Badung regency is categories highpercentage about 70,81%. The intrinsic motivation of the farmer in cultivating thepapaya calina plant generally categories in high percentage about 79,09%.Based on theresearch the farmer’s group as the one who does this job is brave to try this technologyin cultivating the papaya calina plant which is given by the instructor. By trying thetechnology, the farmer’s group will get more new experiences to do in cultivatingpapaya calina in the future.

Abstract The Pattern of Partnership between Heliconia Farmers and Sekar Bumi Farm in Kerta Village Payangan District Gianyar Regency Heliconia is a type of tropical ornamental plant which is often referred to as ornamental banana. Heliconia is one of ornamental plants developed in Payangan District. Heliconia farmers cooperated with Sekar Bumi Farm in provide infrastructure, market access, and could meet production needs for Sekar Bumi Farm so that it can provide benefits for both parties partners. The purpose of this research was to determine: (1) the mechanisms of partnership, (2) the success of the partnership, (3) the benefits of the partnership, and (4) constraints faced in partnership. Respondents of this research was 40 % of the 72 members of Amerta Jati, Jati Mekar and Jati Mulia farmers group. Data was obtained through observation method, documentation study, and interview using questionnaires. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis were used in this research. The results indicated that (1) Form of implementation is done in partnership with Sekar Bumi Farm using plasma core pattern (2) mechanism of partnership between farmers with Sekar Bumi Farm originated from Sekar Bumi Farm to approach farmers to be willing to partner, creating a cooperation agreement concerning the rights and obligations of each party, and agree on the agreements (3) ratio of farmer’s profit increased before partnering was 0.98 to 1.34 after joining partnership, (4) benefits of the partnership on the technical aspects, namely Sekar Bumi Farm provide information to farmers, the economic aspect is a guaranteedmarket and increasing farm income, and the social aspect that is the desireof continuity of cooperation, and (5) Constraints in the partnership is unstable market prices, harvesting is not on schedule, weather factors affecting production, and the number and role of extension worker of the Sekar Bumi Farm is still less than optimal. Analysis of the Determination of Water Prices in Subak Dangin Yeh Giri EmasVillage, Sawan District, Buleleng RegencySubak Dangin Yeh is one of the subaks which describes the decrease in the availabilityof surface water. The application of conventional rice planting systems along with thedecreasing availability of water causes the use of water to be effective and efficient.Therefore this research becomes important to do. This research was conducted fromJanuary to April 2018 with the aim to find out the subak fees charged to farmers, thevalue of water that farmers use in achieving maximum chargeprofits and water pricesthat reflect the value of sustainable water use. The scope of this research is thedetermination of the water price used by farmers with quantitative calculation methods.The data were obtained through library research, direct observation, and in-depthinterviews. The population of this study was all subak members with a sample of 50respondents and determined by the Simple Random Sampling method. Subak feescharged to farmers amounting to Rp.760,000.00 / land / year. Based on VMP analysis,the value of water used by farmers in achieving maximum profits was Rp. 379,932.43 /ha / planting season. The price of water that reflects the value of sustainable water usefor groundwater irrigation was Rp.4,693.64 / m3 which consists of a full supply cost ofRp. 160.92 /m3, opportunity costs of Rp. 4,199.14/ m3, and a depletion premium ofRp.333,59 / m3. This price must be paid by farmers in an effort to maintain waterresources to remain sustainable in the future.

ABSTRACT Fruit Marketing Strategy at UD. Wika Mitra Kerobokan Village, Kuta Utara This research is purpose to identify and to know internal environment (strengths and weaknesses) and external environment (opportunities and threats), business position, and marketing strategy as good enough to applied by UD.Wika Mitra based on currently position. The method of analysis used in this research is corporate environment which consists of IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) matrix , EFE (External Factor Evaluation) matrix, and BCG (Boston Consulting Group) matrix. IFE matrix analysis with total score 2,50 and EFE matrix analysis with total score 3,020. BCG matrix analysis through the analysis of market growth rate and relative market share, known that in 2012 UD. Wika Mitra has market growth rate at 6,50% and the value of the relative market share at 1,18. Position UD. Wika Mitra is on the cell Cash Cow. This means the company has a small business opportunity because they are on the market that is not growing but it has a market share than main competitors UD. Setiawan. Based on the company's position, it can produce an alternative strategy that should be applied to the company, is a product development strategy and concentric diversification strategy. ABSTRACT Water Value Analysis for Rice Irrigation in Urban Areas (Case Study of Subak Pakel I and Subak Pagutan Denpasar City) This study is analyzing the real price of water that must be spend by the rice farmer, the contribution of water for rice production by it coefficient elasticity and irrigation trouble that facing the rice farmer in city area, specifically in Denpasar city Bali province. This study uses the regression method and value of marginal product method to reach the water contribution by coefficient elasticity value and the water price. The result of study shows that water contribution to the rice production by coefficient elasticity is high. The water price that must be spend by the rice farmer by value of marginal product analysis is Rp 358.515/ha/season. The irrigation trouble that facing the farmer is irrigation way damage, garbage that obstruct water flowing, crab pest that discourage water in rice field, and the river damage that obstruct water flowing. The result of this study leads to the following recommendations. Firstly, the irrigation trouble must be fixed by the all subak member in united without expecting help from other stakeholder. Secondly, in the applying trouble fixing need a cost. The cost can be taken by implementation of the real water price by value Rp 358.515/ha/season. Abstract Analysis of Certified Organic Rice Farming Income (Case Farmers Group of Gana Sari District of Badung) Gana Sari group is engaged in the development of organic rice and has organic certificate, necessary to study the analysis of certified organic rice farming income . This study conducted to determine the amount of income , the R / C ratio and application of Internal Control System ( ICS ) at the Farmer Group of Gana Sari. Determination respondents income analysis by cencus and key informants to determine the application of the ICS. The analysis is the farm income , R / C ratio , and descriptive analysis . The result showed an average cash reached Rp 19.293.373,52 and the total income reached Rp 16.023.633,71 per hectare per cropping season. The value of R / C ratio of the total cost was 2.41 and comparison of the cost is 3.38 . The indicates is the certified organic rice farming viable. ICS of gana sari group applied to entire process of culvation and infrastructure including warehouse or farmhouses. ICS carried inspector on all members of farmer and external oversight by LeSos. Suggested to farmers in order to maintain the rice farm is certified organic, farmer groups and ICS officials filed a related department in order to help the staff ICS purchasing, storage, and processing can carry out their duties. Training of the farmers also need to be done continuosly so that farmers consistent to maintain the certificate. Keyword : farmbusiness, rice certified organic, revenue, internal control system

The Influence of Job Satisfaction Factors on Employee Productivity at Suksmaning Idep Drana Ika (SIDI) Business Cooperative The development of cooperatives is currently supported by the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). One of the multi-business cooperatives in Denpasar is the Suksmaning Idep Drana Ika (SIDI) multi-businessCooperative which was established on November 16, 1951. The cooperative must increase its productivity so that the cooperative's goals can be optimally achieved, one of them by paying attention to employee job satisfaction.The purpose of this study was to determine employee job satisfaction and the influence of job satisfaction factors on employee work productivity at the SIDI Multi-business Cooperative. The sampling technique was done by census, as many as 46 employees as respondents. Employee job satisfaction was measured by four factors, namely psychological, financial, social, and physical factors. Measurements are measured in ordinal by using a Likert Scale. The data analysis method used is SEM-PLS, using the help of the Smart PLS V.3.0 application. The results showed that employee job satisfaction was in the satisfied category and job satisfaction factors significantly influenced employee work productivity. This means that job satisfaction factors along with their indicators play an important role in reflecting work productivity. Physical factors have a dominant influence on employee work productivity at the SIDI Multi-business Cooperative.

Abstract Business Diversification of Farmregions in the Upstream, Midstream, and Downstream Regional Irrigation Mambal Diversification of farming is one of the main programs of agricultural development . Program development of diversification of farming in paddy fields is one of the strategies in an effort to stabilize farm income , expansion of employment opportunities and poverty reduction (Pakpahan , 1990) . Seeing the importance of diversification for the stability of farmers 'income , it is interesting to study how to diversify farming in Mambal Irrigation Area, ( the upstream, midstream and downstream ) and their effects on farmers' income. The specific purpose of this study was to determine the level of farm diversification in the upstream, midstream , and downstream in the flow of irrigation Mambal farm diversification and determine the effect on the income of farmers in the upstream, midstream , and downstream in the flow of irrigation Mambal . The location determination is done intentionally ( purposive ) . The population in this study are all farmers who diversify his farming business .. population is three Subak is Ayung Buduk , Sembung , and Canggu . Then a total of 30 farmers selected proportionally according to the third area of the water control system , so it can be said to represent the entire population, which in this study serve as a peasant family research unit . Analysis of the data used in this research is the analysis of qualitative data is used to determine the field conditions and constraints encountered , as well as farmers' perceptions of diversification and quantitative analysis is used to determine the level of diversification and income . Results from this study was the influence of diversification of the income of farmers in the research area , as well as the absence of barriers in the irrigation water.

Comparative Analysis of Financial Performance of Village Credit Institutions (LPD) in Agricultural and Non-Agricultural Regions with The CAMEL Approach Village Credit Institution (LPD) is a village-owned non-bank financial institution that carries out business activities in the village environment and for the village community. Regional differences affect the financial performance of LPD in each region so it is necessary to conduct an analysis of the financial performance of LPD in accordance with Bali Governor Regulation Number 44 of 2017 about Village Credit Institutions by using CAMEL analysis. This research aims to determine the financial performance of LPD Desa Adat Serampingan as an example of LPD in agricultural village and LPD Desa Adat Banjar Anyar as LPD in non-agricultural village and also to find out the financial performance comparison of the two LPDs. The data used are primary data in the form of supporting data, namely information about the profiles of each LPD and secondary data in the form of financial statements of each LPD. The type of data used is quantitative data. The results of this study is that LPD Desa Adat Serampingan as agricultural LPD areas and LPD Desa Adat Banjar Anyar as non-agricultural LPD earned a healthy predicate, which means they have good financial performance, but the financial performance of LPD Desa Adat Banjar Anyar is better than LPD Desa Adat Serampingan.
