Strategi Keamanan Republik Indonesia di Selat Malaka Wicaksa, Arif

The security of the Malacca Strait is an issue that has long been discussed by many countries in the world because of the importance of the Malacca Strait as an international trade channel. Unfortunately, the security of the Malacca Strait is not well maintained. Crimes such as piracy, human trafficking, environmental damage, and other crimes continue to occur. Indonesia as one of the littoral state has resposbility for maintaining the security of the Malacca Strait. Using the concept of the Multi-Sum Security Principle and qualitative analysis, this research aims to look at the strategies that have been taken by Indonesia for the security of the Malacca Strait and the problems that hinder the achievement of security. It was found that the Government of Indonesia still uses a traditional military-centric approach in its security strategy. Non-traditional security strategies such as the eradication of corruption, poverty, to environmental damage around the Malacca Strait have not yet been fully integrated and implemented in the Indonesian Government's strategy. This causes the security in the Malacca Strait to be suboptimal.

China merupakan Negara pertama yang dilaporkan menjadi tempat berkembangnya Coronavirus atau Covid-19 yang saat ini menjadi pandemic global. Sebelum itu, China telah dikenal pula sebagai Negara yang bangkit sebagai kekuatan ekonomi baru dunia. Dengan menggunakan konsep Kapitalisasi Bencana dan analisis kualitatif, tulisan ini berusaha menggambarkan kepentingan China dari kebijakan-kebijakan yang diambil terkait Pandemi Covid-19. Ditemukan bahwa kebijakan China terkait Pandemi Covid-19 merupakan instrumen yang digunakan untuk mencapai kepentingan nasionalnya. Kebijakan menutupi pemberitaan media terkait Covid-19, kemudian kebijakan memberikan bantuan kemanusiaan kepada Negara mitra dagang China hingga kebijakan untuk penguasaan kembali Hong Kong ditengah Pandemi Covid-19

Iran dan Indonesia telah menandatangani kesepakatan kerjasama dalam bidang ketenagalistrikan pada 2016, dimana dalam salah satu poin kerjasama disebutkan bahwa Iran berkomitmen untuk membangun Pembangkit Listrik Bergerak atau Mobile Power Plant sebesar 5000 Megawatt (MW) dalam jangka waktu lima tahun sebagai bagian dari pencapaian target pemerintah Indonesia untuk memenuhi kebutuhan nasional sebesar 35.000 MW pada tahun 2020. Namun hingga berakhirnya periode kerjasama tersebut, Iran sama sekali belum melakukan langkah apa pun untuk pembangunan MPP ini. Pemerintah Indonesia tidak bisa berbuat banyak mengingat kesepakatan kerjasama ini sangat bergantung kepada Iran yang menjadi investor. Faktor-faktor eksternal dan internal seperti embargo ekonomi Amerika Serikat terhadap Iran pada 2018, keterlibatan Iran dalam konflik di Yaman, dan teknologi MPP yang relative baru dan masih dalam tahap perkembangan nampaknya menjadi hambatan bagi Iran untuk merealisasikan kerjasama yang disebutkan diatas.

Penelitian ini menganalisis bagaimana Swiss menghadapi opsi dilematis dalam menanggapi Sanksi Uni Eropa terhadap Rusia dalam krisis Ukraina. Swiss menghadapi opsi dilematis, karena memiliki hubungan politik dan ekonomi yang baik dengan Uni Eropa (UE) dan Rusia. Dalam penelitian ini, metode kualitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis sikap dan perilaku Swisss sebagai negara dalam mempertimbangkan kepentingan nasionalnya. Neoliberalisme digunakan sebagai kerangka dalam menganalisis sikap dan perilaku Swiss dalam menjatuhkan sanksi terhadap Rusia sebagai tanggapan atas kepentingan nasionalnya, karena negara ini mempertimbangkan aktor non-negara dalam proses pengambilan keputusan dalam hubungan antara Swiss dan Uni Eropa. Dalam penelitian ini, jurnal, buku dan laporan dikumpulkan dan digunakan sebagai data dan teori untuk menganalisis masalah. Akhirnya, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Swiss memutuskan untuk tidak secara tegas mendukung sanksi Uni Eropa terhadap Rusia dan memilih bersikap pragmatis

Tinjauan Kritis Terhadap Konsep Tempat dalam Geografi Politik: Studi Kasus Penggunaan Media Sosial di Indonesia Wicaksa, Arif

Tempat menjadi bagian penting dari kehidupan manusia secara umum, dan merupakan konsep kunci dalam memahami kajian Geografi Politik. Bagaimanapun, konsep tempat merupakan konsep yang sangat didominasi oleh pemahaman materialistik. Pemahaman materialistik terhadap konsep ini kurang bisa mewakili perkembangan teknologi informasi khususnya media sosial yang berdampak pada berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat dunia khususnya Indonesia. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk meninjau kembali secara kritis terhadap pemaknaan konsep tempat dalam kajian Geografi Politik. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif, data mengenai media sosial di Indonesia dikumpulkan untuk kemudian digunakan meninjau konsep tempat dalam Geografi Politik. Ditemukan bahwa aktivitas penggunaan media sosial di Indonesia ternyata dapat menggantikan aktivitas yang selama ini bergantung pada tempat secara materialistik, sehingga konsep tempat tidak hanya ditemukan pada wilayah fisik materialistik saja, namun juga berlaku pada wilayah non-materialistik yakni media sosial.

This study aims to describe the efforts of the Indonesian government in overcoming with forest and land fires in Pulang Pisau, Central Kalimantan. The research method used in compiling this thesis is descriptive type. Data collection techniques using library techniques. The type of data used is primary data in the form of Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia number 1 of 2016 related to the formation of the BRG and secondary data sourced from research journals, articles and books related to the object of research. In this study, researchers used theory and environmentalism and international cooperation. The results of this study indicate that most of the efforts of the Government of Indonesia in dealing with forest and land fires in Pulang Pisau have gone well, as can be seen from the achievement of the main objectives of the canal blocking project through the FPIC approach which results in the restoration of the peat ecosystem and improving the quality of life of the community. Then, the efforts made are not limited to action plans or policies but concrete actions carried out by district governments, provincial governments, and central governments and in their implementation are not only driven at the government level but also from companies, communities, and supported by foreign partnerships. As for the additional opportunity to be completed, the author sees from year to year still with the same pattern of efforts and no new efforts have been offered by the government. However, the government has used a different approach, namely using the principle of FPIC, which was welcomed by the community.

Indonesia is one of the countries that has many kinds of cultures, which include dances, musical instruments, ritual traditions and clothing in each region in Indonesia. Public diplomacy is also seen based on a series of efforts to open good communication space and negotiate national elements in the international world. To get the attention of the international community and give a good image to Indonesia, it is necessary to make efforts made by Indonesia, namely by promoting fashion to the international community in order to achieve Indonesia's national interests. Although it is undeniable, a number of fashion product brands in Indonesia still need improvement to compete with foreign brands, because there are still many people who think that the quality of foreign brands is better, but with the creativity of Indonesian designers who are starting to provide ready-to-wear product choices at affordable prices than foreign brands. Human resources and a lot of international markets will have potential in the fashion sector so that special attention is shown by the government. Not only the government but citizens also have the ability to be actors in diplomacy. This study aims to determine public diplomacy efforts in promoting Indonesian fashion products abroad. This research is descriptive research. The data used in this study are secondary data sourced from articles, online journals, books, and internet facilities. This research uses library research data collection techniques and the data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis technique. This research uses the theoretical framework of public diplomacy and creative industries. The results showed that public diplomacy efforts in promoting Indonesian fashion products abroad are by collaborating between the government and the private sector, as well as facilitating and promoting domestic products to the international world.

This study describes the factors inhibiting the optimization of Indonesia's interests within the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), employing Keohane and Nye's theoretical framework of Asymmetric Interdependence. Utilizing a qualitative library research method, the study examines Indonesia's position across four key areas: trade structure, investment flows, skilled labor mobility, and integration into Global Value Chains (GVCs). The findings reveal that Indonesia's relationship with fellow MEA member states is fundamentally asymmetrical. Indonesia remains locked into the role of a raw material supplier, a destination for extractive-consumptive investment, and an exporter of informal labor, while simultaneously being a net importer of high-value manufactured goods, a user of foreign skilled labor, and a consumer of final products. This pattern creates long-term structural vulnerabilities, weakens Indonesia's bargaining position, and hinders its economic transformation. The study concludes that Asymmetric Interdependence is a fundamental inhibiting factor that constrains Indonesia's ability to optimally leverage the MEA, necessitating strategic and long-term-oriented corrective policies.
