Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of using Prezi learning media on the results of class VIII student on the material of liquid pressure. This research was conducted at SMP PGRI 1 Paloh. The method of research used was an experiment with a preprogrammed posttest using paired sample t-test and an independent sample t-test. The sample in this study was classroom VIII A as an experimental class using Prezi learning media and VIII B using powerpoint as control class. The test in this study was a matter of 5 essay. According to data analysis guidelines, concluded (1) There is an increase in student learning outcomes after applying Prezi learning by 58.62 with an N-gain score of 0.33 and learning using powerpoint by 51.14 with an N-gain score of 0.26 ( 2) There are differences in student learning outcomes before and after being given learning that uses Prezi (p < 0.05) and learning that does not use Prezi (p < 0.05) by testing the difference in the average score of learning outcomes for the experimental class and the control class. obtained p = 0.04 < 0.05 (3) The use of Prezi learning media is effectively used in the learning process with an effect size value (ES = 0.46) effectiveness in moderate criteria.Keywords: Prezi learning media, results of learning, liquid pressure

Abstract

The effectiveness of utilizing learning videos with the flipped classroom model in improving understudy learning results on Newton's law material in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. The form of the research utilized is a trial with a pretest-posttest design utilizing a paired sample T-test and an independent sample T-test. The example in this study was class VIII A as an exploratory class utilizing learning videos with a flipped classroom model and VIII C as a conventional learning control class. The test in this study was in the form of 20 multiple choice questions. Based on the reference results of data analysis, it is finished zup (1) There is an expansion in understudy learning results later using learning videos by 62.35 with 41% completeness percentage, and conventional learning by 51.79 with 28% completeness percentage. (2) There are differences in the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and the control class after being given the application of the flipped classroom learning model and conventional learning F = 2,434 with a sig level (0.00 < 0.05). (3) The utilization of learning videos using the flipped classroom model is effective in further developing understudy learning results on Newton's regulation material.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Singkawang with the aim of finding outwhether the use of the area of the flat shape method is effective for students to improvetheir mastery of concepts and the ability to solve graphic problems in straight motionmaterial. This research was conducted because it was obtained information that theability of students in a straight motion graph is still very low. Then the research samplewas 25 students of class X MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 8 Singkawang by providing instrumentsin the form of test questions in the form of essays with indicators of mastery of theconcept of straight motion and the ability to solve straight motion graph questions. Itwas found that the use of the flat shape method has an effect (with high category) sothat it is effectively used to improve concept mastery and the ability to solve straightmotion graph form problems. With an increase of 15,6 for the mastery of the concept ofstraight motion and 16,24 for the ability to solve problems in the form of graphs forstraight motion material. The effectiveness of the use of the flat area method to improvethe mastery of concepts and the ability to solve graphic from problems in straight motionmaterial is relatively high because students find it easier to use the flat wake areamethod.Keywords: Flat Area Method, Concept Mastery, Ability to Solve Graphic Problems,Straight Motion

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to assess the effectiveness of misconception remediation using predict, discuss, explain, observe, discuss, explain (PDEODE) strategies on momentum and impulse of students at SMAN 1 Selimbau. The method used in this research was a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test design. Samples of study were intact group and selected based on physics teacher’s recommendation. The research instrument included 8 questions of diagnostic test. The percentage number of students with misconceptions of each indicator and student was reduced to 69,38% and 71,80%. Based on the results of the McNemar test, overall students experienced significant conceptual changes with a value of X 2 count(67.37)> χ 2 table (3.84) with df = 1 and α = 5%. The effectiveness using PDEODE strategies to remediate the number of student’s misconception through DQM of 68,98% which is included to medium category. This research is suggested to be use as an alternative learning activity to reduce the number of students that have misconception on momentum and impulse.Keywords: Misconception Remediation, Momentum and Impuls, Predict, Discuss, Explain, Observe, Discuss, Explain (PDEODE)

Abstract

This research aims to create a problem-solving e-module supplemented by a flipbook, for physics education targeting junior high school students. This study employed the research and development (R&D) method utilizing the ADDIE model, encompassing the phases of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research methodologies encompassed observation, interviews, questionnaires, and pre-tests and post-tests. This research employed a data analysis technique that incorporates quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis, utilizing the Aiken V index for data evaluation. The findings of this study demonstrated that the created e-module possesses a high feasibility level, evidenced by an average validation score of 0.83, classified as very valid. The deployment of the e-module among 28 seventh-grade students in class VII C at SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak yielded an effect size of 3.02, categorizing it as very effective, while the assessment of students' problem-solving abilities revealed an average N-Gain value of 0.53, indicating a modest level of improvement. The teacher's reaction rate was 97%, while the pupils' response rate during the field trial was 86%, both classified as exceptionally high. The results demonstrate that the problem-solving-based e-module, supplemented by a flipbook, is an excellent physics learning medium for enhancing problem-solving skills related to the theme of matter and its transformations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul elektonik berbasis problem solving berbantuan PhET untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah fisika peserta didik pada materi kinematika gerak lurus. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket kebutuhan peserta didik, lembar validasi ahli, dan tes keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa modul elektronik yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat kelayakan tinggi dengan kategori sangat valid. Implementasi modul elektronik pada 30 peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dengan kategori sedang. Dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon, menunjukkan perbedaan yang sangat signifikan, mengindikasikan bahwa perlakuan yang diberikan memiliki pengaruh yang sangat kuat terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik. Data hasil angket respon peserta didik terhadap modul elektronik menunjukkan hasil yang sangat positif, dengan rata-rata respon keseluruhan mencapai 83,5%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa modul elektronik berbasis problem solving berbantuan PhET efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika untuk membantu peserta didik memahami konsep secara mendalam dan menyelesaikan masalah secara sistematis.

Abstract

Penelitian memiliki tujuan agar dapat menghasilkan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik untuk materi hukum newton yang layak digunakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang memakai prosedur pengembangan ADDIE. Tes yang dikembangkan berupa 10 soal uraian yang telah divalidasi tiga validator ahli dengan nilai Indeks Aiken V untuk validasi asesmen bernilai 0,8778 (sangat tinggi) dan validasi materi bernilai 0,836 (sangat tinggi). Tes yang telah dibuat dilakukan uji coba skala kecil pada 10 peserta didik dan uji coba skala besar pada 35 peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Pakedai. Tingkat keterbacaan sudah terpenuhi yang memiliki rata-rata sebesar 7,037. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan 8 soal valid dan 2 soal tidak valid. Reabilitas tes bernilai 0,838 yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Analisis tingkat kesukaran menunjukkan 2 butir soal mudah, 1 butir soal sedang dan 7 butir soal sukar. Analisis data pembeda menunjukkan 2 soal dengan kategori mudah sekali, 1 butir soal dengan kategori mudah, 2 butir soal dengan kategori sedang, 4 butir soal dengan kategori tinggi dan 1 butir soal dengan kategori tinggi sekali. Angket respon peserta didik terhadap tes juga menunjukkan respon yang baik dengan persentase 80%. Secara keseluruhan terdapat 8 soal yang dinyatakan layak dan 2 soal tidak layak. Sehingga hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk membantu melatih kemampuan pemecahan masalah peseta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the remediation of students on the material of uniform motion with the help of e-learning learning media. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 5 Selakau. The sample in this study amounted to 20 students. The data collection technique was carried out by giving tests that were carried out through elearning, namely google classroom, namely posttest and pre-test with 10 questions with open reasons to class VIIIA students. The data analysis of this research was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the results of the pre-test and post-test. The mean score shows the results (0.7104) at the time of calculation, while based on the effect size formula (6.80), it is categorized as high in uniform straight motion material. So it is hoped that the results of this study can help students in overcoming misconceptions about the material of uniform straight motion in the learning outcomes of students in class VIIIA SMP Negeri 5 Selakau can be achieved in accordance with the learning objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the profile of students' conceptions of uniform circular motion (GMB) through a four-tier diagnostic test. This study uses a qualitative method in the form of survey research involving 27 students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Rasau Jaya for the academic year 2021/2022. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data collection in this study used the instrument of conceptual test questions arranged in the form of a four-tier diagnostic test presented on google form and interviews with students directly. The four-tier diagnostic test given to students consists of four levels, namely the main multiple choice questions, the level of confidence in the answers, the reasons given, and the level of confidence in the reasons. Based on the results of the analysis obtained 15.74% of students who understand the concept of uniform circular motion (GMB), 39.81% of students who do not understand the concept, 40.74% of misconceptions and 3.7% of students are categorized as errors. As for this research, it can be concluded that the four-tier diagnostic test can identify the conceptions possessed by students, in this study also states that in the uniform circular motion (GMB) material, students experience more misconceptions.

Abstract

The problem currently faced is the rapid development of technology in this era, which is increasingly eroding culture and causing students to no longer prioritize morals in the learning process. To overcome this problem, an E-Module based on local wisdom was developed to understand the concept of sound waves. The method used is the RD (Research and Development) method with a modified ADDIE model, with a focus only on the implementation stage. In this article the discussion focuses on user responses in using this E-Module, the users in this case are class XII students at SMA Negeri 3 Sukadana who were given 10 assessment indicator questions. Based on a response test conducted on 20 students at SMA Negeri 3 Sukadana, an average response rate of 89.5% was obtained with very good criteria. Therefore, it can be concluded that developing an E-Module based on local wisdom is very suitable for use, according to student responses. Based on the results of the feasibility responses from students, it can be concluded that the E-Module developed can and is suitable for use in supporting learning in schools
