Abstract

Fish farming requires proper feed management to ensure optimal fish growth and cost efficiency. However, manual feeding practices are still widely applied and often lead to several problems, such as irregular feeding schedules, inaccurate feed portions, and limited pond monitoring. This study aims to design and implement an Internet of Things–based automatic fish feeding system as a solution to improve feeding efficiency and management convenience. The research method employed an engineering and experimental approach, including hardware and software system design as well as performance testing on fish farming media. The developed system is capable of scheduling and controlling feeding duration automatically while providing remote monitoring and control features through an internet connection. The test results indicate that the system achieves feeding time accuracy with an average deviation of approximately 1–2 minutes from the scheduled time and delivers relatively consistent feed portions in each feeding cycle. In addition, the system can transmit operational status data in real time, although performance is influenced by network stability. Overall, the IoT-based automatic fish feeding system demonstrates potential to enhance feed efficiency and support modern and sustainable fish farming management.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to classify the success level of village MSMEs based on capital and marketing strategies using the Naive Bayes algorithm. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises often face challenges such as limited capital and ineffective marketing strategies, which may hinder business performance. In this research, MSME data were collected through questionnaires covering variables such as initial capital, capital source, type of marketing strategy, promotional media, and business duration. The data were then processed and analyzed using the Naive Bayes method to predict MSME success levels categorized as high, medium, and low. The results indicate that the Naive Bayes model provides good prediction accuracy and is able to identify the most influential variables affecting MSME success. This study is expected to serve as a reference for MSME practitioners and local governments in designing more effective and targeted business development strategies. Keywords: MSMEs, capital, marketing strategy, classification, Naive Bayes Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengklasifikasikan tingkat keberhasilan UMKM desa berdasarkan modal dan strategi pemasaran menggunakan algoritma Naive Bayes. Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries affected by the Covid-19 outbreak. PolicyThe government regarding Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) has an impact on various sectors in Indonesia, be it the economic, entertainment, religious and education sectors. The need for understanding the use of digital media in the community will determine the mindset of the community in dealing with this pandemic. Educational activities that were stopped during the pandemic have been transformed into online learning by utilizing digital media. Ease of accessing all information through several applications in gadgets in people's lives, but not all people take advantage of these opportunities positively. The purpose of this study was to determine people's behavior in using digital media during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is a literature review method based on literature exploration from the results of previous studies. These literatures are in the form of books, survey results, online media, and national research articles. The results of the study revealed that there were major changes in people's behavior in several aspects. The changes come from their own initiative as well as an appeal or order from the competent authority. In addition, the pandemic period affects people's mental and psychological health. Media has always been a social institution, during this pandemic, learning can be carried out using various platforms, both in the form of a learning management system and in the form of video conferencing so that parents and teachers are required to have digital literacy skills. The conclusion of the study is that the use of digital media greatly influences people's behavior, besides the ability to use digital media is needed by the community as a digital literacy effort during the Covid-19 pandemic.
