Abstract

The development of technology and information is able to bring changes in all lines of life. Humans have begun to become complacent about the easy and sophisticated life, so that the noble religious values are now not the main thing again. Humans are now busy looking for their existence, competing with their siblings for recognition, especially teenagers who are easily influenced by everything they consider fun, there needs to be an appropriate solution to minimize this, because humans are born to correct previous bad karma and in current lives. This needs an arrangement for oneself, society and the people to become human dharmics. Religious values must be packaged in such a way as to facilitate the spread of teachings in achieving the mission of dharma. Dharmagita as one of the cultural arts in Bali plays an important role in the mission of spreading Hinduism. Dharmagita in the development of mental spiritual religion and increase understanding of the values of religious teachings. Through understanding the practice of Dharmagita, it is possible to form the next generation to have quality sradha and devotional service while preserving the arts and culture in Bali.

Abstract

Sudhi wadhani merupakan salah satu bentuk upacara yang dilaksanakan dalam upaya individu menyucikan diri melalui janji suci yang diucapkan serta disaksikan oleh pihak-pihak terkait. Untuk melaksanakan sudhi wadhani memerlukan beberapa persyaratan sehingga dikatakan sah secara hukum Hindu maupun hukum positif yang berlaku. Secara administratif pelaksanaan upacara harus memberikan data sesuai dengan ketentuan Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia. Beberapa sarana yang disiapkan disesuaikan dengan kondisi, situasi dan kemampuan pelaksana upacara. Kuantitas sarana upacara tidak mempengaruhi kualitas dari hasil upacara tersebut, yang menjadi syarat utama pelaksanaan upacara adalah kesucian hati dan niat yang tulus dari orang yang bersangkutan. Pelaksanaan dimulai dari kesiapan hingga proses pelaksanaan harus mengacu pada sastra agama Hindu. Sebagai bentuk legalitas upacara sudhi wadhani menurut hukum Hindu harus mengacu pada: 1) Sruti, yaitu: wahyu Tuhan yang dituangkan dalam Weda, 2) Smerti ialah penafsiran dari wahyu Tuhan yang terdapat dalam Weda, 3) Sila adalah tingkah laku yang sesuai dengan norma di masyarakat, 4) Sadacara/acara merupakan kebiasaan atau adat-istiadat masyarakat, 5) Atmanastuti kepuasan hati dari individu yang tidak bertentangan dengan ajaran agama Hindu. Pelaksanaan sudhi wadhani telah diakui secara hukum nasional Indonesia karena telah mengacu pada hukum agama, hukum adat yang dilindungi oleh Undang-Undang di Indonesia.

Abstract

Dharma merupakan pengatur kehidupan sehari-hari umat manusia. Dharma merupakan dasar dari tapa atau kesederhanaan. Ia menuntun menuju kecukupan, keindahan, umur panjang dan kelanjutan dari keturunan. Prilaku jahat dan tidak bermoral akan menuntun menuju kehinaan, kesedihan, kesakitan dan kematian sebelum waktunya. Dharma berakar dalam susila dan pengendalian dharma adalah Tuhan sendiri Umat Hindu sebagai bagian dari warga negara memiliki kewajiban untuk mengamalkan ajaran dharma sesuai dengan dasar hukum yang belaku di suatu negara. Norma atau hukum yang berlaku di Indonesia memiliki empat elemen yang jadi dasar, yakni: 1) Ideologi Pancasila sebagai atap yang melindung bangsa Indonesia dari serangan luar, 2) UUD 1945 dasar dari segala norma hukum di Indonesia, 3) Semboyan Bhineka Tunggal Ika merupakan semangat untuk membangun bangsa Indonesia kedepan, dan 4) NKRI sebagai benteng untuk mempertahankan serta memperkuat jati diri sebagai bangsa yang bermartabat. Revitalisasi dan aktualisasi ajaran dharma agama dan dharma negara menjadi senjata ampuh untuk menghadapi tantangan di zaman global. Upaya revitalisasi harus dilakukan secara serius karena tantangan zaman menuntut kita sebagai warga negara paham secara utuh nilai-nilai kebangsaan dan peka terhadap fenomena yang terjadi saat ini. aktualisasi ajaran agama Hindu mampu memperkuat empat konsensus untuk mencapai tujuan manusia hidup di dunia yaitu Jagadhita.

Abstract

Religion as a cultural system is a pattern for behavior that consists of a series of rules,plans, and instructions that humans use in regulating their actions, which were expressed by anAmerican anthropologist, Clifford Geertz. The organization of understanding that is enshrined insymbols related to the expression of human behavior is understood as culture. Religion can notonly be understood as a set of values outside of humans, but also a system of knowledge and asystem of symbols that can give birth to meaning. Communities in the area have their own culturethat is in accordance with the values of the community's point of view that reflect the community'sview of life. Culture then turns into values and norms that become local culture. Local culture isoften called local wisdom which can be interpreted as a whole including and may be consideredthe same as cultural identity which is translated as the cultural identity or personality of a nation,which results in the nation being more able to absorb and process cultural influences that cometo it. from outside his own area, according to his character and personal needs. Abstract

The temple is a sacred place to worship God with all His manifestations as well as a place to worship the holy spirits of the ancestors. The temple is also a center for religious, social and cultural activities based on Hinduism. Purohita Temple is located at Unggasan Village, Seririt District, Buleleng Bali. Purohito Temple carries the concept of Shiva-Buddhist worship which is very unique. Pura Purohita has one Siva Phallus which became the highest Shiva Lingga in the world which was included in the MURI list on April 10, 2015. The dedication of Purohita Temple is a special attraction to be studied further about the existence of Purohita Temple in Uploadan village, Seririt District, Buleleng Regency. The research uses qualitative descriptive research methods. Purohita Temple structurally consists of two pages, namely: jaba pisan and jeroan, while when viewed from the shape of the sacred building, it can be classified into several types, namely: Bebaturan, Padmasana, Gedong, and Lingga. The function of Purohita Temple: (1) Religious function where Purohita Temple functions as a means of increasing sradha and bhakti for the people, (2) The function of education as a medium of learning or informal cultural and spiritual education. (3) Economic Function which in the area of Pura Purohita is placed the palinggih Ratu Subandar by taking the form of a statue of Laughing Buddha which is believed to be the god of prosperity and happiness (4) Recreation function where Pura Purohita is one of the religious tourist attractions in the North Bali region. The maning of Siva Phaluss is as a central point of worship to facilitate concentration and unification with God.

Abstract

The quantity of students for a college is of particular concern, this is because the quantity of students indirectly affects public confidence in educational institutions. In addition, the quantity of students will also affect the assessment process of the institution by the competent body or institution. So that the quantity of students is always strived to increase every year both by universities and study programs as a unit of education in it. The selection of a study program is not a question that can be decided simply. There are many determinants that prospective students should consider. From various searches of literary sources, it was found that the factor that determines the basis for choosing is attraction or attractiveness.In addition, a person's decision to make a choice often occurs very quickly sometimes less than half a minute and is influenced by the likes and beliefs.The study program in attracting prospective students must conduct study and analysis as a first step.Looking at what are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges that may arise today, this of course becomes important because the results of this study can affect in the process of achieving organizational goals, especially in an effort to increase the number of students.

Abstract

A culture will certainly still exist if it still has an influence on human life. In Paksebali Village there is a tradition that still exists and has been carried out since the past until now. The tradition is the Lukat Geni tradition. Tradition is a tradition or custom that is passed down from generation to generation and is carried out repeatedly. According to the Big Indonesian Dictionary, tradition is everything such as customs, habits, teachings and so on that have been passed down from generation to generation from ancestors. Tradition comes from the word traditium which means everything that is transmitted, passed down from the past to the present. The point is that tradition is a legacy from the past that is preserved and carried out in the present. Bali has many traditions, almost all areas in Bali have unique traditions and run them according to the culture and customs of each region. For example, the Lukat Geni tradition is held in Paksebali Village, Dawan District, Klungkung. The Lukat Geni tradition is a sacred tradition that is believed by the community to have a positive impact on the lives of the local community. Therefore, this tradition can be said to exist until today.

Abstract

Palinggih Hyang Dewa is the belief of the people in the Busungbiu Village which is used as a place to glorify the ancestors who were victims of murder. This palinggih will be built by the family who are the perpetrators. If it is not built and trusted by the perpetrator's family, the perpetrator will experience pain and commotion in the family. Therefore, the existence of the Palinggih is very sacred, so its existence is still maintained today. The formulation of the problem that forms the basis for this research are: (1) What is the structure of Palinggih Hyang Dewa in the Busungbiu Village, Busungbiu District, Buleleng Regency? (2) What is the function of Palinggih Hyang Dewa in the Busungbiu Village, Busungbiu District, Buleleng Regency? (3) What is the philosophical meaning of the existence of Palinggih Hyang Dewa in the Busungbiu Village, Busungbiu District, Buleleng Regency?. These problems were analyzed using several theories, including: (1) Symbol theory to dissect the formulation of the first problem regarding the structure of Palinggih Hyang Dewa, (2) Religious theory to dissect the formulation of the second problem regarding the function of Palinggih Hyang Dewa, (3) Semiotic theory to dissect the formulation of the third problem regarding the philosophical meaning of Palinggih Hyang Dewa. In this study, the following data will be produced: (1) The structural basis of Palinggih Hyang Dewa in the Busungbiu Village which includes: the form, belief in ancestors, and ceremonies used, (2) The function of the existence of Palinggih Hyang Dewa in the Busungbiu Village includes: the religious function, the function of request for tirtha, the function of health and protection, the function of education, and the function of togetherness and harmony, (3) The philosophical meaning of Palinggih Hyang Dewa in the Busungbiu Village includes: the meaning of tattwa, the meaning of holiness, the meaning of beauty, the meaning of ethics, and the meaning of harmony.

Abstract

In the digital era like today, there are many preparations that must be owned apart from infrastructure, as well as character readiness to face various kinds of reforms, changes and challenges that accompany developments in this digital era. Because in this digital era it will open cultural distinctions that allow various types of culture to enterthe midst of people’s lives which will result in conflicts between religion, customs and culture that lead to eastern culture which is the basic foundation of Indonesian people’s life. Which will be very contrary to religion, customs and eastern culture which is the basic foundation of Indonesia social life. The development of technology and the entry of the digital world into almost all lines of life, have changed many things, including human behavior. The digital age changes the way people think when they are doing something. Digital culture is also something that shapes the way we interact, behave, think and communicate in a society that uses internet technology. Digital culture that is growing rapidly in everyday life is inseparable and cannot be separated from the activities carried out by humans, where every second there are so many technologies that are developing rapidly. Digital technology has changed the way people in Indonesia interact with each other, with the media or other things related to Indonesia culture. Culture is also formed from several elements, namely religious and political systems, customs, customs, language, clothing/appearance, works of art and others it is undeniable, the development of the digital world has targeted all sides of life. The side of human life that is not affected by the digitization process.

Abstract

The saint is someone who is very influential in the smooth implementation of the Hindu Yajña ceremony. Saints can be grouped into two groups, namely Eka Jati and Dwi Jati. Each class of saints certainly has a different role and authority in leading the implementation of the Yajña ceremony. In the implementation of the Panca Yajña ceremony, of course, the Saints have an important role, without the Saints, the ceremony held will not be completed. Saints have had an important role since ancient times, starting from spreading the teachings of Hinduism, compiling Hindu scriptures, and leading religious ceremonies until now. The holy person who has carried out the mewinten ceremony is called Pandita (stakeholder) and the holy person who has carried out the medical ceremony is called Pinandita (sulinggih).
