Abstract

Artikel ini bermaksud menganalisis relasi persaudaraan yang tidak hanya dibangun berdasarkan pada hubungan kekerabatan melalui darah, keluarga maupun daerah. Konstruksi relasi saudara perlu juga dibangun berdasarkan relasi persaudaraan Teosentris. Allah menjadi pusat persaudaraan. Tujuannya adalah meletakan posisi manusia sebagai ciptaan Allah yang berkomitmen untuk melakukan kehendak Allah. Konsep ini meletakan manusia dalam posisi sama sebagai insan ciptaan Allah yang menemukan persaudaraan itu dalam kemanusiaan sebagai makhluk ciptaan yang terpusat pada kehendak Allah. Tujuan artikel ini adalah mengkaji Konsep “Torang Samua Ciptaan Tuhan” orang Sulawesi Utara. Mengeksplorasi gagasan persaudaraan Teosentris dengan menggali makna pedagogis teologis melalui kerja hermeneutis Markus 3:31-35. Menyajikan perspektif teologis pedagogis untuk menemukan relasi saudara dalam konsep Teosentris versi Yesus, kemudian direfleksikan dengan falsafah “Torang Samua Ciptaan Tuhan” dalam konteks Sulawesi Utara. Kesimpulan artikel ini adalah kebijakan pemerintah dalam upaya mengedukasi, mengimplementasi nilai-nilai keharmonisan dan kerukunan maka perlu diberi dasar pedagogis teologis yang bersifat Teosentris yang bertujuan memperkuat dan memaknai slogan “Torang Samua Ciptaan Tuhan” dari perspektif Pendidikan Teologi Kristen

Abstract

The phenomenon of religious conversion in Indonesia from non-Christians to Christians often triggers Christophobia, which is a form of intolerance and hatred towards Christians which is manifested through discrimination, harassment and violence. The church must be a safe place for survivors of Christophobia and provide a way out as a form of social service to congregation members. Researchers used case study-based qualitative research with a Client-Centered Therapy approach model through interview techniques with seven congregations in the IFGF (International Full-Gospel Fellowship) church in Manado. Pastoral counseling services are a crucial step to care for the holistic well-being of survivors by developing effective strategies to achieve their recovery goals. Recovery does not occur instantly but rather through a gradual process that is layer by layer and religious conversion is a complex matter so counselors must be sensitive.

Abstract

The issue of salvation remains a central and foundational theme within Christian theology, maintaining its relevance across generations. Two principal pillars underpinning the construction of Christian soteriology are the doctrines of justification and substitution. The doctrine of justification asserts that sinful humanity is declared righteous before God solely through faith in Jesus Christ, independent of human works. Meanwhile, the doctrine of substitution posits that Christ offered Himself as a sacrificial substitute, bearing the penalty of sin on behalf of humankind. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method through a literature review approach, examining a wide range of theological sources, both classical and contemporary. The primary objective is to investigate thoroughly the biblical, historical, and rational foundations of these two doctrines as essential components of soteriology within the framework of systematic theology. The findings reveal that justification and substitution are not merely isolated theological concepts, but rather constitute an integrated whole in articulating God’s salvific work in Christ. Together, they offer a coherent and theologically robust response to the challenges posed by relativism and pluralism within the context of postmodern thought.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between church denominations in Paret Village, Kotabunan District, East Bolaang Mongondow Regency, with a focus on the application of Christian conflict management. It also identifies supporting and inhibiting factors in building interdenominational relationships. The study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, involving observation, interviews, and document analysis. Findings show that relationships between churches in Paret Village are generally harmonious, supported by values of family, cooperation, and shared faith. However, internal tensions remain, especially regarding burial land disputes and denominational exclusivism. The application of Christian conflict management is reflected through dialogue, love in action, and Christ-centered principles. Supporting factors include inter-church activities, spiritual formation, and a culture of peaceful coexistence. Inhibiting factors include denominational fanaticism, weak communication among church leaders, and low participation in joint activities. This study concludes that Christian conflict management plays an essential role in building peaceful and sustainable inter-church relationships

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis bentuk-bentuk keteladanan iman yang dipraktikkan oleh orang tua di GMIM Lahai-roi Malalayang kota Manado, bagaimana keteladanan iman orang tua berperan dalam membangun karakter remaja perempuan, faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat yang mempengaruhi implementasi keteladanan iman remaja perempuan serta upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan dalam implementasi keteladanan iman remaja perempuan di GMIM Lahai-Roi Malalayang Kota Manado. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Observasi, wawancara dan studi kepustakaan menjadi cara peneliti untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keteladanan iman yang ditunjukkan orang tua di GMIM Lahai-roi Malalayang dalam bentuk rajin beribadah, berdoa, dan mengasihi keluarga serta orang lain.

Abstract

This article explores how the love of Christ, as taught in the New Testament, inspired socialist attitudes and its relevance in the contemporary social and economic context. Although the term socialism is not explicitly mentioned in the Bible, the essence of socialist values ​​such as togetherness, social justice, and equal distribution of prosperity is found in the teachings of Jesus Christ. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a constructive theological approach. This article analyzes key New Testament texts to identify the practical implementation of these teachings in modern society. Christ's universal and inclusive love, as reflected in various Bible passages, teaches togetherness, sharing, special attention to the poor and oppressed, and opposition to economic injustice. By internalizing and applying the teachings of Christ's love, Christian communities can function as significant agents of change in efforts to create a more just and prosperous society.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to realize the nature and responsibility and concern in understanding the existence of adolescents to instill good spiritual values for teenagers so that teenagers can also be an example for people without making age a measure. The research was conducted on teenagers in the GMIM Sion Malalayang congregation to find out how teenagers understand the exemplary life according to 1 Timothy 4: 12. The approach used in this research is to use a qualitative approach as well as by conducting interviews and observations. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be said that teenagers do not understand the exemplary life according to 1 Timothy 4:12 so that the principles of exemplary life in it cannot be applied properly by teenagers. therefore teenagers should understand as well as possible the context and application of exemplary life from 1 Timothy 4:12 and of course there needs to be support from the surrounding environment such as church and parents / adults

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impacts of social media addiction on marriage, as well as the role of pastoral counselors in assisting couples to overcome such addiction and strengthen their marital commitment. Social media addiction can disrupt face-to-face communication, diminish the quality of shared time, and enhance feelings of detachment. Moreover, unrealistic social comparisons and online conflicts can erode trust and stability within marriage, even increasing the risk of divorce. Through a qualitative approach, this research will identify effective strategies and methods employed by pastoral counselors to address the negative impacts of social media addiction on marital dynamics. It is hoped that the findings of this study will provide profound insights into the importance of the pastoral counselor's role in supporting couples to overcome social media addiction and fortify their marital commitment.

Abstract

This research aim to analyze and describe the strategies of Christian religious edication teachers in controlling bullying behavior at SMK N PP Kalaset, Minahasa Regency. This research uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. Observations, interviews, an literature studies are the researchers way of collecting data and finding information that to control bullying behavior, Christian religious education teachers are also involved in change agent groups or anti-bullting messages using appropriate learning strategies, and taking teacher approaches to students to better control students. In and knowing the most appropriate strategy to apply. While in previous research on bullying was always linked to the strategies of guidance an counseling teachers, this time the research describes a strategy that focuses on Christian religious education teachers in controlling bullying behavior at SMK N PP Kalasey, Minahasa Regency.
