Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to test the accuracy of predicting corporate bankruptcy models: (1) Altman Z Score which includes Altman, modified Altman, and modified Altman (2) Foster F-Score, (3) Springate S-Score, (4) Ohlson Y-Score, (5) Zmijewski X-Score, (6) Fullmer H-Score, (7) Zavgreen Pi Score, and (8) Grover G-Score. The research sample covers the period 2010-2016 and uses a sample of non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The number of observations used in this study was 1421 observations. From the overall test results, the accuracy results for companies that are predicted to be healthy and the order of accuracy are bankruptcy prediction Model 1) Zmijewski X-Score (99.50%), 2) Ohlson Y-Score (98.40%) 3) Fullmer H-Score (93.10%) 4) Grover G-Score (93%) 5) Altman Modified Z'-Score (82.77%) 6) Zavgreen Pi-Score (82.60%) 7) Altman Revised Z'-Score (67.75%) 8) Altman First Z-Score (64.11%) 9) Springate S-Score (58.60%) and 10) Foster F-Score (40.70%).  Testing for companies that are delisted later and from the bankruptcy prediction model declared bankrupt companies obtained the order of prediction accuracy is model prediction 1) Foster F-Score (68.25%) 2) Springate S-Score (61.90%) 3) Altman First Z-Score (26.42%) 4) Altman Revised Z'-Score (25.53%) 5) Fullmer H-Score (22.22%) 6) Zavgreen Pi-Score (20.63%) 7) Altman Modified Z"-Score (16.07%) 8) Grover G-Score (12.70%) 9) Ohlson Y-Score (3.17%) and 10) Zmijewski X-Score (0%).

Abstract

Gaya penyelesaian masalah kooperatif telah menjadi fokus kajian untuk meningkatkan kinerja tim dan organisasi dalam konteks dinamika bisnis yang terus berubah. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi dampak positif dan implikasi penerapan gaya penyelesaian masalah kooperatif terhadap efisiensi dan pencapaian tujuan bersama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian kepustakaan. Berdasarkan kajian ini, disimpulkan bahwa gaya peneyelesaian masalah kooperatif berasaskan pada kolaborasi, kreativitas, dan partisipasi aktif anggota tim, Pendekatan ini menciptakan lingkungan organisasi di mana inovasi berkembang dan konflik dikelola secara konstruktif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pengelolaan pembiayaan dalam peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di MTs Al-Huda Ciranjang berdasarkan Instrumen Akreditasi Satuan Pendidikan (IASP) tahun 2020. IASP 2020 digunakan sebagai kerangka kerja untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengevaluasi praktik pengelolaan keuangan yang diterapkan di madrasah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, bendahara sekolah, guru, dan anggota komite sekolah, serta melalui observasi dan analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan pembiayaan di MTs Al-Huda Ciranjang telah memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan oleh IASP 2020, khususnya dalam hal transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan efektivitas alokasi dana. Laporan keuangan diaudit secara internal dan hasilnya disampaikan kepada pihak-pihak berkepentingan, yang mencerminkan capaian kinerja level 4 dalam IASP 2020. Implementasi pengelolaan pembiayaan yang baik telah berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di madrasah ini, terlihat dari peningkatan fasilitas, pengembangan profesional guru, dan hasil belajar siswa yang lebih baik. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi sekolah dan madrasah lain dalam mengimplementasikan pengelolaan pembiayaan yang efektif untuk mencapai standar kualitas pendidikan yang diharapkan

Abstract

This research aims to find information on student learning outcomes using the talking stick learning method in class VII of SMPN 2 Tarogong Kidul Garut. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method, a quasi-experimental research design using pre-test and post-test nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research was class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Tarogong Kidul Garut. Samples taken using purposive sampling technique were 1 experimental class, class VII-C and 1 control class, class VII-F. The instruments used in this research were test question sheets and observation sheets. Based on the results of SPSS 27 statistical analysis research, the initial abilities of the two groups were different from the average test scores. Meanwhile, for the final test results, the Sig (2-tailed) value was 0.000 and ɑ was 0.05, meaning 0.000 < 0.05, so it was rejected and accepted. The results of statistical tests regarding the influence of the talking stick learning method on social studies learning outcomes for class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Tarogong Kidul Garut are in accordance with the results of the gain test. The N-Gain obtained by the experimental class was 0.44. So the medium level category. So it was concluded that it was rejected and accepted so that there was an increase in student learning outcomes using the Talking Stick learning method.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang pola pendidikan di perguruan tinggi kemaritiman dalam upaya peningkatan soft skill bagi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif berdasarkan tujuan dan permasalahan yang diteliti dengan fokus penelitian dalam penelitian yaitu menganalisa pengembangan Soft Skill dalam perspektif Perguruan Tinggi Maritim dalam menghasilkan lulusan berdaya saing global. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, teknik wawancara, dan teknik dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pola pendidikan berbasis ketarunaan merupakan suatu pola pendidikan yang menerapkan prinsip militer dengan tujuan untuk membentuk karakter mahasiswa sehingga mampu mencegah dan mengatasi penyimpangan pada kepribadian mahasiswa sehingga mahasiswa mampu mengembangkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku yang baik serta mampu membentuk kompetensi soft skill bagi mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi kemaritiman.

Abstract

This study is a systematic literature review utilizing sources from Scopus, DOAJ, and Google Scholar, focusing on publications from 2013 to 2023. The findings assert the significant and relevant role of cultural arts in preserving local identities in the modern era. Cultural arts serve as social cohesion agents, safeguarding local traditions and values amidst the changes and influences of globalization and modernization. Various forms of artistic expression such as painting, music, dance, and literature play a crucial role in strengthening and preserving local identities, fostering awareness of cultural diversity within the dynamics of the modern world. Cultural arts also facilitate dialogue between local traditions and modern innovations, enabling productive interaction between existing and emerging elements, and stimulating critical reflection on the interpretation of traditional values in the evolving context of time. However, there are gaps in this research highlighting the lack of in-depth studies on the impact of modern technology on cultural artistic expression and local identity, which require further attention in the future.

Abstract

The study of the use of seawater and the composition of blackening solutions on the quality of blackening results is essential in increasing the efficiency of raw materials and finding an adequate formulation in the blackening process. Blackening is a black oxide coating process that aims to increase metal resistance to corrosion and wear. This study uses seawater as a solvent with blackening solution raw materials consisting of NaOH and oxidizers with varying compositions. The parameters for testing the quality of blackening results include color testing using the visual matching method, image color picker application, and corrosion resistance testing using the weight loss method. The study results showed that seawater can be used as a solvent in making blackening solutions by providing a somewhat contrasting black color and slower corrosion rate compared to solutions without seawater. NaOH with a percentage of 50%, 70%, and 80% in the corrosion test showed an increase in corrosion resistance of 10%, 30%, and 40%, respectively, after immersion for 30 minutes at a temperature of 150°C. The resulting blackening process not only provides aesthetic value through black coating but also increases protection against material surface degradation. This research is expected to provide an alternative formulation of a blackening solution that is more environmentally friendly and economically efficient, mainly by utilizing seawater as a solvent. In addition, these results are expected to be the basis for further development in blackening applications on various materials for industrial needs.

Abstract

Iklim sekolah yang sehat menjadi faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di sekolah dasar, menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pembelajaran akademik, pengembangan karakter, dan keterampilan sosial siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka untuk mengevaluasi peran orang tua dalam mewujudkan iklim sekolah sehat. Teori Bronfenbrenner dan Epstein dijadikan landasan teoritis untuk menjelaskan pentingnya keterlibatan orang tua dalam mendukung lingkungan belajar di rumah dan sekolah. Keterlibatan orang tua, seperti mendukung pembelajaran di rumah, berkomunikasi dengan sekolah, dan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan, terbukti memberikan dampak positif terhadap prestasi akademik, keterampilan sosial, dan kolaborasi antara keluarga dan sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sinergi antara orang tua, sekolah, dan komunitas merupakan prasyarat untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan secara holistik.

Abstract

Work accidents caused by companies that are negligent in implementing Occupational Safety and Health (K3) can endanger workers or laborers who are carrying out their activities in the company. They can experience minor or serious injuries, permanent disabilities, and in the worst case, can result in death for workers or laborers. Development companies must not be negligent in implementing K3 protocols in their production areas and construction areas because it can cause discomfort for workers or laborers in working and the level of work accidents has the potential to be very high. In this study, a normative legal research method was used, research materials were mostly accessed from the literature, namely materials containing new or up-to-date scientific knowledge, or new understandings of known facts or ideas, in this case including books, journals, dissertations or theses, and other legal materials. The results of the research obtained were the legal consequences for perpetrators who do not implement K3 as stated in Article 35 paragraphs (2) and (3) in conjunction with. Article 186 paragraph (1) of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower explains that companies that provide workplaces for workers or laborers are required to provide protection that includes welfare, safety and occupational health for workers/laborers from the beginning of recruitment to work placement. Legal protection for workers who experience work accidents is an important aspect of the employment system in Indonesia, as stipulated in Law Number 13 of 2003 35 paragraphs (2) and (3) jo. Article 186 paragraph (1) and concerning Manpower.

Abstract

This research investigates the significant effect of using phonetic-based materials, particularly the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), in teaching pronunciation skills to eleventh-grade students at SMAN 1 Mataram. Employing a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pre-test and post-test model, the study involved 32 students from class XIF MIPA-6. Data were collected through pronunciation assessments using the Elsa Speak application, which analyzed students’ performance before and after treatment. The treatment consisted of structured lessons integrating phonetic symbols and guided practice across four meetings. The statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test showed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores (t = 2.275 > t-table = 2.040, α = 0.05), indicating that phonetic-based materials positively affected students’ pronunciation skills. Despite the modest increase in mean scores (from 75.8 to 76.5), the improvement was statistically significant. The study concludes that the integration of phonetic-based materials is an effective approach to enhance English pronunciation among EFL students.
