Abstract

The use of social media for development as well as the promotion of tourism destinations is being loved by the people of Indonesia, both from the government and the private sector. So this paper will explain the same thing a bit. Specifically this article will discuss the development of tourist destinations using one of the social media, namely Instagram. The tourist destinations that we are developing are in the village of Tegaren, District Tugu, Trenggalek Regency. There are three (3) tourist destinations in Tegaren, namely embungs, caves, and waterfalls. The community service that we have done is still focused on one tourist destination, namely embung. The embung in the Tegaren village is called Banyu Lumut. This paper seeks to explain the development of tourist destinations through social media. In this paper, the concept of tourism that is pro-poor tourism, tourism value chain, and productive economic empowerment will be used. The pro-poor tourism approach is used as an alternative step of ecotourism which is expected to be more engaged in labor-intensive development activities rather than capital intensive. The community service that we have done has resulted in the form of an @banyulumut Instagram account which can then be used by the Tegaren village government to promote Tegaren tourism. Abstract

ABSTRACTMany claims stating that the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) is final system. Supporter of this argument suggests that the concept of the nation-state has the final. In fact, if viewed from its historical context, system nation-state only one trend of various systems that run by human. System of city-states, kingdoms, empires, and the caliphate is an example of systems that ever existed and became a trend. This suggests that the nation-state is not absolutely necessary for the human system. In addition, the contemporary trend suggests that the nation-state is increasingly irrelevant. Various regional and transnational cooperation of various actors between states and non-state has taken over some of the traditional role of the nation-state. Existence of EU institutions give the real illustration that regionalism system began to replace the nation-state. Contemporary religious movements also brought the idea to replace the nation-state system. Therefore , it is possible that alternative systems, both of which have roots tradition from the past or an entirely new system, will be able to replace the nation-state system. Therefore , the claim that NKRI is a "final system" and " have the final ", should be reviewed. Keywords: International Politic, nation-state, irrelevant, alternative system.DOI:https://doi.org/10.33005/jgp.v2i01.1982

Abstract

The outbreak of civil war in Syria since 2011 has resulted in 3.8 million Syrian refugees having to move to neighboring countries. Turkey is one of them, with the total number of refugees as of December 2020 reaching 3.6 million refugees who fled to Turkey. This led to the emergence of a refugee crisis in Turkey which caused various problems at home. One of the problems with the refugee crisis is that it causes high unemployment in Turkey and is one of the factors inhibiting the economy. As a form of securitization of the refugee crisis by the Turkish state, it has been responded to in various ways and one of them is the Operation Peace Spring’s foreign policy launched in 2019. This policy is in the form of military operations to occupy territories by Turkey in the northern part of Syria, with the aim of providing a "safe zone" for Syrian refugees to return to their homeland. Through the concept of securitization, the writer finds that as a sovereign country, Turkey must provide security to its citizens from threats, especially from abroad. This type of research used in this research is to use a qualitative descriptive method. This method is used to obtain a more detailed explanation regarding developing issues. With this process, it will be explained comprehensively and also pay attention to the structure of how the securitization carried out by Turkey in Operation Peace Spring's foreign policy can provide security for the threats it receives.

Abstract

Tegaren village is the biggest besek producer in Trenggalek, East Java. In collaboration with UPN "Veteran" of East Java, the people of Tegaren then developed an educational tourism that made besek as the main tourist attraction. Using the asset based community development (ABCD) method, leadership, and tourist gaze 3.0, the research team sought to make a scientific contribution to the development of the Tegaren’s tourism. After proceeding for one year, Tegaren’s people, especially women who made besek, began to feel the impact of improving the quality of life by the existence of a tourism village. There are three scientific arguments why besek, or bamboo, is used as the backbone of the development of the Tegaren’s tourism and later we call it as bamboonomic, namely 1) bamboo and besek have long been one of the heart of Tegaren’s life, 2) the tourism which was built based on natural assets and cultural assets creates ways of feeling as conceived in tourist gaze 3.0, and 3) this tourism is able to bring up and come up with leadership that brings Tegaren more advanced and prosperous. Abstract

Abstract

Besek is made from bamboo which is then woven. This besek craft is the main craft of women in Tegaren Village. However, problems arise when besek does not provide enough income for women in Tegaren Village. By providing more training and insight for the residents of Tegaren Village, it is hoped that there will be an increase in the economic capacity of the village. The method of implementing the Community Partnership Program (PKM) is through comparative studies, training, as well as providing assistance to residents of Tegaren Village to continue to improve their economic capacity through bamboo woven commodities. As an object of comparative study, bamboo craft center Bamboo Indah was chosen, located in Wonoanti Village, Gandusari District, Trenggalek Regency. During a comparative study, three agreements were reached between the government of Tegaren Village and the Bambu Indah center, namely 1) Tegaren Village would send two or three craftsmen to conduct intensive bamboo weaving training, 2) two "lazy chair" products would be sent to Tegaren Village as a learning material for developing bamboo commodity products, and 3) Bambu Indah centers agreed to empower the human resources of Tegaren Village if there are besek and pincuk orders. This assistance program will continue as Tegaren Village has become one of the target villages of UPN "Veteran" East Java.

Abstract

The use of camels as a regional binder is implemented in the camel race event which has been held since 1999 by local Bedouin tribes and has received attention from the Saudi Arabian royal family, with the holding of this camel event is expected to provide a good political element as public diplomacy for the creation of regional integration in the East. Middle. In this journal the author will use the theory of regionalism and social identity to support the concept of public diplomacy, briefly, regionalism is a tendency in a region based on homogeneity, characteristics, and the provision of cooperation, in line with regionalism social identity theory also has an explanation that individual social identity (in this case the country) affects the dynamics in the regional group. In writing this journal, the writer uses the descriptive analysis method to describe and collect data from various secondary sources. The presence of an adhesive element in the form of a symbol that can be agreed upon collectively able to minimize the presence of words of disagreement is considered capable as the first step to gluing the area. Meanwhile, from the process, the procurement of the largest camel festival in the world that can present representatives of countries in the Middle East Region Saudi Arabia is considered capable of being a promotional event for the adhesive symbol.
