Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine the role of social media influencers in shaping public opinion among university students through a literature review approach. The background of this research is based on the rapid development of information technology and social media, which has given rise to influencers as new communication actors with strong influence in the digital public sphere. Influencers act as opinion leaders who not only deliver information but also frame messages, construct narratives, and disseminate various issues to their audiences. University students are selected as the focus of this study because they represent an active, critical group of social media users who are highly exposed to digital content. The research method employs a literature review by analyzing various national and international scholarly journals relevant to the topics of influencers, social media, and public opinion formation. The findings indicate that influencers have a significant impact on shaping students’ mindsets, attitudes, perceptions, and attention toward social, political, cultural, and lifestyle issues. Factors such as credibility, popularity, and the intensity of interaction between influencers and their audiences play an important role in determining the effectiveness of this influence. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that social media influencers play a strategic and increasingly dominant role in the process of public opinion formation among university students in the era of digital communication.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology encourages companies to provide accessible and professional digital media for presenting their identity and services. CV. Saira Teknik requires a web-based platform that not only delivers comprehensive company profile information but also enables customers to place product orders online. To address this need, this research designs and develops a company profile website integrated with an online ordering feature using the Laravel framework. The development process follows the Agile Scrum methodology through stages of requirement analysis, system design, backlog preparation, iterative development, and testing. The system includes features for managing company information, categories, products, customer orders, and sales reports for administrators, while customers can view company information, browse products, manage their carts, and perform transactions. The system is evaluated using alpha testing with the black box method and beta testing through User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The results show that all functionalities operate as expected, with UAT feasibility scores of 86% from administrators and 92% from customers, categorized as very good. Therefore, the developed website is considered feasible and effective in improving information delivery and the ordering process at CV. Saira Teknik.

Abstract

The Nusantara Module is one of the compulsory courses for students who take part in the Independent Student Exchange program. The content of the Nusantara module is social contribution, diversity, inspiration and reflection. The purpose of this research is to find out how tolerant and perceived Indonesian cultural diversity through Nusantara module activities for PMM 4 Inbound students of Jember University. The research method used is a qualitative research method, using the theory of symbolic interactionism of George Herbert Mead's thought. The results showed that the Nusantara Module course has a role in increasing the cultural tolerance attitude of inbound students of Jember University through; first, respecting and respecting diversity; second, preventing the emergence of ethnocentrism and in the Nusantara Module there are symbols used by Inbound students in interacting in order to implement tolerance attitudes and values.
