Abstract

The increase in the number of K-Pop concerts in Indonesia drives the need for a ticket e-booking system that is not only efficient but also capable of accommodating transaction characteristics with high demand levels and optimal integration of digital payment systems. The main issue with the current e-ticketing system lies in the platform's general nature (multi-event marketplace) and the suboptimal integration of user experience with digital payment systems like QRIS. This research aims to design and develop a mobile-based K-Pop concert e-booking application integrated with QRIS and empirically test its impact on transaction efficiency and user experience. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model approach, complemented by a quasi-experimental design (posttest control group design). Testing was conducted on 60 respondents divided into experimental and control groups, with variables measured including transaction time, transaction success rate, usability using the System Usability Scale (SUS), and user satisfaction. The research results show that the K-Party application is capable of effectively and integratively supporting the e-booking process. Statistical analysis shows that the use of QRIS has a significant impact on transaction efficiency and user experience, as well as contributing to business performance improvements, including a 36.2% increase in revenue and a 5-10% increase in audience numbers. Thus, the developed system is not only technically feasible but also empirically proven to add value in the context of the digital entertainment industry.

Abstract

In this study, an IS/IT strategic plan will be developed for FMCG Skincare Enterprises, a firm that operates within the oral care and personal care sector, with a high regard for innovation in its products. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive case study methodology, whereby the study deliberately narrows down the scope of investigation to a single organization. Within this framework, the Ward and Peppard model is used to examine the external and internal environments of the business, in order to determine the information needs of the organization. Besides, the McFarlan Strategic Grid is applied to categorize and prioritize IS/IT initiatives in terms of their strategic importance. Based on the results, it is evident that the firm enjoys numerous competitive advantages, such as having innovative products and employing shoppertainment marketing strategies using digital technology to widen the market coverage. Nonetheless, the results also point out some strategic problems that the organization faces, such as having low production capacity and being heavily reliant on a specific digital marketing channel, TikTok Shop. This study proposes a hybrid system development strategy as the best way to incorporate digital systems. The IS/IT strategic roadmap proposed will enable the firm to improve its digital structure, increase efficiency, and ensure that it transforms into a competitive organization in the beauty industry over time.

Abstract

Brainware refers to individuals directly involved in operating, organizing, and managing computer systems, which are a crucial component of an information system. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are documents that explain responsibilities and how each task is performed to support specific company goals. An IT Security Policy plays a role in implementing the necessary measures to minimize and anticipate potential threats to a company's confidential information. Enhancing consumer data security is not only an individual's responsibility but also the organization's in building consumer trust and complying with regulations. The variety and variability of risks are concerns for all companies. The increasing use of the internet has led to a rise in data breaches caused by more cyberattacks. Companies today face threats that can jeopardize their reputation, highlighting the role of brainware in addressing these threats. Therefore, awareness and knowledge of each individual are necessary to motivate the implementation of steps to overcome these threats. An IT Security Policy can be implemented with the expectation that all parties involved know their specific responsibilities within a company. This is necessary to maintain the technological ecosystem within a corporate organization.

Abstract

Information system audits play an important role in evaluating the effectiveness, governance, and strategic alignment of IT services within organizations. This study assesses the capability level of IT service strategy implementation in a spare-parts distribution company using the ITIL V3 framework, with a focus on three Service Strategy sub-processes: Service Portfolio Management, Financial Management, and Demand Management. A qualitative case study approach was employed through semi-structured interviews and document analysis involving key personnel responsible for IT service operations. Capability assessment used a binary scoring method, where Fully Achieved was rated as 1 and Not Achieved as 0, and the aggregated results were mapped to capability levels. The findings show that the organization operates between Level 2 (repeatable) and Level 3 (defined), indicating that core processes have been documented and partially implemented, but are not yet fully integrated across functions. Key gaps were identified in internal coordination, management information, monitoring practices, and customer interface mechanisms. The study recommends strengthening service governance through clearer policies, better cross-functional coordination, and more integrated monitoring to improve IT service performance and business alignment.

Abstract

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common hormonal disorders experienced by women of reproductive age and can lead to various health problems, including menstrual irregularities, infertility, and an increased risk of metabolic diseases. Early detection of PCOS is essential to minimize long-term impacts and improve the quality of life for patients. This study aims to identify effective data preprocessing strategies to enhance the performance of classification models for PCOS detection. The dataset used is open source, consisting of 541 participants with 45 clinical and laboratory features. The main challenges encountered include the presence of many missing values, an imbalanced target class distribution, and a large number of independent features. To address these issues, a series of preprocessing steps were applied, including missing value imputation, data balancing using the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE), and dimensionality reduction using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). A classification model was built using the Random Forest algorithm, and its performance was compared before and after applying PCA. The evaluation results show that before PCA, the model achieved an accuracy of 87.5%, precision of 86%, recall of 86%, and an F1-score of 86%. After applying PCA, performance improved to an accuracy of 90%, precision of 89%, recall of 89%, and an F1-score of 89%. These findings indicate that the right combination of preprocessing strategies, particularly SMOTE and PCA, can significantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness of models in detecting PCOS, thereby supporting the development of more reliable medical decision support systems.

Abstract

A network equipment company specializing in the provision of switches and servers still faces challenges in stock management because the recording of outgoing goods and inventory withdrawal transactions is still done manually using notebooks and Excel. This condition causes problems such as delays in data updates, difficulties in monitoring stock availability in real time, and the risk of discrepancies between data and conditions in the warehouse. The objective of this research is to design and implement a web-based inventory application using a pull inventory approach, where stock is recorded only upon actual demand from projects or customers. This strategy helps reduce the likelihood of overstocking or understocking. Based on testing results, the developed application can support the recording of outgoing goods, provide real-time availability information, and generate useful reports for management, thereby supporting the efficiency, accuracy, and integration of the company's business processes.
