Abstract

Lingkungan digital berbasis Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) dan Mix Reality (MR) yang dikenal dengan metavese menawarkan pengalaman virtual yang kaya, namun masih terdapat tantangan signifikan pada aspek antarmuka pengguna dan kenyamanan pengguna. Permasalahan utama yaitu ketidakfamiliaran pengguna dalam navigasi, stimulasi sensorik yang terlalu berlebihan, munculnya gejala motion sickness yang dapat mengganggu kenyamanan dalam interaksi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi pengalaman pengguna terhadap teknologi imersif dalam metaverse yang berfokus pada aspek usability, eye tracking, motion sickness, respon biologis dan perubahan perilaku pengguna. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui kuesioner kepada 385 responden yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil dari pengujian menunjukkan empat dari lima indikator usability memiliki rata-rata yang cukup rendah yang menandakan diperlukan perbaikian antarmuka. Pengujian eye tracking memperlihatkan tingkat kepuasan pengguna yang tinggi. Teknologi ini juga terbukti efektif dalam meminimalkan motion sickness dengan dukungan visual beresolusi tinggi. Pengukuran perilaku juga menunjukkan adanya perubahan signifikan pasca penggunaan seperti penurunan keseimbangan tubuh. Secara keseluruhan teknologi imersif dalam metaverse telah menunjukkan keberhasilan dalam menciptakan pengalaman pengguna yang positif meskipun terdapat ruang untuk perbaikan dalam antarmuka dan kemudahan dalam navigasi

Abstract

Employee turnover refers to the replacement of employees within an organization, which can lead to losses such as recruitment costs and decreased productivity. Predicting turnover is crucial for companies to anticipate and take appropriate actions to retain potential employees. This study aims to optimize the employee turnover prediction model by integrating hash encoding techniques and machine learning. The dataset used in this study is an open-source dataset obtained from Kaggle dataset. It consists of 14,994 rows and 10 columns (features) representing employee-related information such as satisfaction level, evaluation score, number of projects, average monthly hours, and whether the employee left the company. Among these features, some are of object data type. Since machine learning algorithms generally cannot work directly with object-type features, the use of hash encoding is proposed. This technique converts object-type data into numerical data. It is part of the preprocessing stage, aiming to reduce memory usage, speed up data preprocessing, and improve model performance. After preprocessing is completed, the prediction model is trained using the Random Forest algorithm to predict employee turnover. The evaluation is conducted using accuracy, recall, precision, and F1-score metrics, which yielded results of 0.988, 0.961, 0.988, and 0.974, respectively. These results indicate that the integration of hash encoding techniques and machine learning can produce a well-performing model for predicting employee turnover.

Abstract

The pet adoption application aims to simplify and speed up the animal adoption process by connecting potential adopters with adoption service providers. This research aims to design and analyze business processes in this application using the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) approach. BPMN is used to visualize workflows in a structured manner and identify potential inefficiencies and Opportunities for improvement in existing systems. The research process involved collecting data through interviews, observations, and analysis of documentation from animal adoption organizations and potential adopters. BPMN modeling is carried out to describe business processes in two conditions: before and after application implementation. Analysis is carried out to evaluate changes in efficiency, effectiveness and user experience after the system is implemented. The research results show that this application is able to simplify the adoption process by reducing the number of manual steps, speeding up adoption application processing, and increasing user engagement. In addition, recommendations for improvements are provided to further improve integration between processes and minimize the potential for operational errors. This research concludes that the BPMN approach is effective in designing and analyzing pet adoption application business processes. These findings contribute to the development of similar applications by providing guidance for creating workflows that are efficient, standardized, and responsive to user needs.

Abstract

The recipe and grocery shopping application is designed to increase the ease of users in accessing cooking recipes and shopping for groceries in an integrated manner. This research aims to analyze the business processes involved in the application using the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) approach. Analysis is carried out to understand the workflow structure, identify potential efficiencies, and produce performance improvements before and after system implementation. The research results show that the application of this application is able to direct processes that were previously manual and fragmented, such as searching for recipes, making shopping lists, and ordering groceries. The BPMN model is used to visualize changes in business process flow, enabling comprehensive evaluation of aspects of time efficiency, error reduction, and increased user satisfaction. This research concludes that the BPMN approach is effective in analyzing and optimizing business processes in recipe and grocery shopping applications. These findings contribute to the development of similar applications, especially in designing systems that are more efficient and responsive to user needs.

Abstract

The rapid and dynamic growth of information technology has compelled organizations to migrate toward online services to streamline operations, create agility, and support data‑driven decision making. Sport Center XYZ, a local facility‑rental provider, still relies on fully manual procedures for court reservations, employee scheduling, and financial documentation. These paper‑based workflows regularly generate data‑entry mistakes, misplaced receipts, and delayed reports, which collectively diminish service quality and operational efficiency. This research designs and develops an integrated web‑based information system that supports real‑time court booking, automated resource allocation, and instant transaction reporting. A qualitative methodology, comprising field observation, stakeholder interviews, and literature review, underpins the requirement elicitation phase. System construction follows the Waterfall model: requirements analysis, object‑oriented development based on UML‑driven design by using Code Igniter Framework, and black‑box testing to verify functional compliance. Deployment results indicate that reservation processing time is reduced dramatically, and comprehensive financial statements can be produced on demand. These accomplishments not only smooth daily operations but also provide management with accurate, timely information for strategic planning. The study concludes that adopting a web information system is an effective solution for modernizing manual sport‑facility operations and can be adopted by similar organizations which plan to elevate performance and customer satisfaction, potentially replicable in diverse contexts worldwide.

Abstract

Bilangan prima merupakan bilangan yang sangat penting dalam berbagai bidang komputasi. Sebagai bilangan yang tidak habis terbagi bilangan manapun selain 1 dan bilangan itu sendiri, sehingga sering dimanfaatkan pada pengkodean yang memerlukan bilangan unik. Salah satu masalah yang timbul sehubungna dengan keperluan bilangan prima ini adalah untuk mendapatkan suatu bilangan unik yang prima memerlukan pengujian primalitas bilangan. Pemeriksaan primalitas dapat mengintegrasikan prinsip Dynamic Programming (DP) melalui teknik memoization dan penyimpanan data persisten. Proses ini akan memanfaatkan tabel bilangan prima yang tersimpan sehingga dapat digunakan Kembali pada pengujian bilangan primalitas bilangan berikutnya. Pendekatan trial division, memungkinkan sistem untuk secara menyimpan dan menggunakan kembali hasil komputasi sebelumnya, sehingga mempercepat proses pemeriksaan bilangan prima di masa mendatang. Uji coba pembagian dioptimalkan dengan batas akar kuadrat. Melalui serangkaian pengujian kinerja, hasil menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi yang signifikan. Waktu eksekusi berkurang drastis ketika bilangan yang diperiksa sudah ada dalam tabel memoized atau berada dalam jangkauan bilangan prima yang telah dibangun sebelumnya. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi keterbatasan kinerja yang substansial. Ketika program dihadapkan pada kebutuhan untuk memperluas tabel ke rentang bilangan yang sangat besar, algoritma uji coba pembagian sekuensial yang digunakan untuk perluasan tabel menjadi tidak optimal dan memakan waktu komputasi yang sangat lama.

Abstract

Information Technology (IT) has become an essential element of human activity, including the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs aimed at community empowerment. One organization conducting such programs is Foundation XXX, a non-profit focused on education that routinely carries out CSR initiatives in partnership with various stakeholders. This study seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of IT-based partnerships within the foundation’s CSR program. A qualitative approach was employed through in-depth interviews with stakeholders, field observations, document analysis, and a literature review. Findings indicate that using online communication platformsm such as Zoom and Google Meet, and digital monitoring systems enhances inter-party coordination, transparency in resource allocation, and community participation. IT also facilitates real-time progress tracking, enabling faster, data-driven decision-making. Nonetheless, challenges such as digital-literacy gaps, infrastructure limitations, and incomplete system integration still hinder optimal benefits. The research underscores the need for a comprehensive IT strategy encompassing literacy training, platform standardization, and a sustainable integration plan to maximize CSR impact. These findings are expected to guide similar organizations in designing IT-based CSR initiatives that are sustainable and results-oriented. Practical implications include formulating supportive policies and fostering multi-party collaboration to bridge technological gaps and ensure equitable benefits for all stakeholders within the organization

Abstract

Dalam konteks universitas, teknologi smart card sering kali digunakan sebagai metode autentikasi di gerbang parkir, dengan tujuan meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan aplikasi dan sistem kartu member parkir yang terintegrasi dengan Kartu Tanda Mahasiswa (KTM) menggunakan metode Waterfall. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk memfasilitasi akses parkir di kampus melalui aplikasi desktop yang terhubung dengan KTM, sehingga mahasiswa dapat dengan mudah mengelola keanggotaan parkir mereka. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini memberikan berbagai manfaat, termasuk kemudahan dalam verifikasi identitas mahasiswa, otomatisasi proses parkir, serta optimasi sumber daya kampus. Dengan menggunakan metode Waterfall, penelitian ini memberikan solusi terstruktur dalam pengembangan aplikasi, mulai dari analisis kebutuhan hingga pengujian, yang secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan parkir di kampus. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan teknologi integrasi sistem di lingkungan kampus dan membuka wawasan baru tentang implementasi teknologi untuk meningkatkan layanan kampus.

Abstract

Limited access to information about Student Activity Unit (UKM) activities and achievements is often an obstacle for students, especially new students, to be actively involved in campus activities. This study aims to develop an UKM Information Application to provide an integrated platform that makes it easier for students at universities in North Jakarta to access UKM information. This application is designed using the Scrum method, with iterative stages that include user needs analysis, development of key features such as delivery of activity information, event notifications, and documentation of UKM achievements, and evaluation through sprint reviews. The use of this application is expected to increase information transparency, facilitate communication between members, and encourage student participation in UKM activities. The results of the study are in the form of a digital-based information application that can strengthen UKM management and communication effectively and efficiently, supporting the modernization of information systems in higher education.

Abstract

Preventive maintenance is a routine maintenance strategy that aims to maximize equipment life cycle and prevent unplanned downtime which causes increased repair costs. When carrying out this maintenance, error in selecting machines need to be anticipated to avoid company losses. This research aims to reduce human error in machine selection for preventive maintenance using deep learning. The dataset used in this research is operational data of heavy equipment machine dataset from one of the palm oil companies in Indonesia with 9 independent features and 1 dependent feature. Dependent feature is a target feature contain two target classes representing effective and ineffective machines. The dataset in this study contains outlier, feature scales that are very different, and imbalanced data class. To handle outlier and standardise data scale, the Z-score method is used. Meanwhile, the over sampling method is used to handle imbalanced data classes. To obtain the best model performance, the number of epochs and two types of optimizers (adam&adamax) of neural network are selected. In selecting the number of epochs, experiments were carried out using 100 epochs. This research obtained the linearity relationship between the number of epochs and accuracy with the accuracy values using Adam and Adamax optimizers were 94.82% and 93.11% at the 100th epoch.
