Abstract

Kurangnya antusias siswa karena tidak ada upaya guru untuk menggunakan multimedia seperti komputer sebagai variasi dalam proses pembelajaran menyebabkan rendahnya hasil belajar IPA.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalahuntuk (1) mengetahui komparasi model drill dan tutorial dalam mengoptimalkan hasil belajar siswa, dan (2) mengetahui respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran berbasis komputer. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan model pretest-posttest design dengan 2 macam perlakuan. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII D dan VIII E yang dipilih dengan metode probabilitas berupa convinience sampling dan jumlah siswa pada masing-masing kelas 28 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, tes hasil belajar, angket, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan homogenitas, serta uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan PBK model drill dan model tutorial, dengan temuan (1) hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan PBK model tutorial sedikit lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan PBK model drill, dan (2) siswa menunjukkan respon yang baik terhadap pembelajaran berbasis komputer.

Abstract

The low social skills of students in class VIII-C of Junior High School 27 Banjarmasin becomes the background of this classroom action research (CAR). The purpose of this research is to examine students social skills improvement by employing the ‘Pair Checks’ cooperative learning model which are carried out in 3 cycles. Method of data collection uses observation sheet ofapplied lesson plans, students social skills, achievement test and student questionnaire responses. The technique of Data Analysis used descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The findings of the study are: (1) the ability of teachers to manage Pair Checks cooperative models the first cycle was 86%, while the second cycle resulted in 87%, and 90%  in the third cycle, (2) social skills of students has risen that was 90.6% for the first cycle, 91% for the second cycle and  95.6% for the third cycle, (3) mastery learning outcomes of students was 67% of the first cycle, 83%  for the second cycle and 93% for the third cycle, (4) the response of students to the learning process is good. From the findings above, it can be concluded that the application of Pair Checks cooperative learning model on the subject of light reflection in class VIII C of Junior High School 27 Banjarmasin is effective to improve students social skills.

Abstract

Tidak tersedianya modul fisika yang memuat kaitan antara materi fisika dengan kearifan lokal melatarbelakangi dilakukannya penelitian ini. Oleh sebab itu, dilakukan penelitian pengembangan modul fisika materi suhu dan kalor berintegrasi kearifan lokal membuat minyak lala untuk melatih karakter sanggam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan kelayakan modul fisika materi suhu dan kalor berintegrasi kearifan lokal yang layak untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran, dengan tujuan khususnya yaitu mendeskripsikan validitas modul fisika, kepraktisan modul fisika, efektivitas modul fisika, dan pencapaian karakter sanggam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek ujicoba adalah siswa kelas X-2 di SMA Negeri 2 Paringin. Data diperoleh melalui lembar validasi, angket respon siswa, tes hasil belajar, dan lembar observasi karakter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) validasi berupa isi dan tampilan modul berkategori cukup valid dengan nilai yaitu 79,41% dan 78,20%, (2) kepraktisan modul berkategori praktis dengan skor rerata 3,18, (3) efektivitas modul berkategori tinggi dengan skor N-gain yaitu 0,89, dan (4) pencapaian karakter sanggam berkategori baik dengan skor rerata yaitu 3,61. Simpulan penelitian adalah bahwa modul fisika berintegrasi kearifan lokal pembuatan minyak lala layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. There is no physics module that contains between physics and local wisdom, becomes the background of this research. It is also the reason why the research is conducted to develop physics module with the local wisdom of making “minyak lala” to exercise “sanggam” character. This research aimed to describe the appropriateness of physics module of temperature and heat material that interacted with local wisdom which was suitable to use in the learning activity, with the special purposes of describing physics module validity, practicality of physics module, effectiveness of physics module, and achievement of “sanggam” character. This research was the development study by using ADDIE development model. The samples of the subject were students in X-2 class in SMA Negeri 2 Paringin. The data was obtained from sheet validation, questioner of student’s response, the learning outcome, the sheet of character observation. The result of the research showed that: (1) the validation of the contain and view of the module was valid enough with the score of 79,42% and 78,20%, (2) the module practicality categorized practice with the average score of 3,18, (3) the effectiveness module had high category with N-gain score 0.89, and (4) the achievement of “sanggam” character was good character with the average score of 3,61. The conclusion of this research is physics module that interact with local wisdom of making “minyak lala” is appropriate to use in learning activity.

Abstract

Students worksheet in the school during this time only contains description and questions. For this reason, the study is aimed to know about the worthiness of LKS Skill Oriented Sains Process on Subject Optic Geometries. The purpose of this study (1) to describe the validity of LKS based on test validity, (2) to describe the practical LKS which develop based on the learning implementation, (3) to describe the effectivity of LKS which developing based on students’ result of learning, scientific attitude, and Skill Oriented Sains Process. This research by using design of the study development, that is developing stage that adapted model Dick and Carey. The subject of this study is the researcher who has role as teacher and student is the eleventh grade students of Senior High School. The result of data analysis shows that the worthiness of LKS Skill Oriented Sains Process by using Learning Model Guidance Inquiry is the validity of LKS categorized as valid. The implementation of RPP is very good. The effectivity of LKS is effective. The conclusion is the development of LKS Skill Oriented Sains Process in Optic Geometries Subject Using Guidance Inquiry fulfill the criteria suitable to use.

Abstract

Rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dikarenakan pembelajaran yang berlangsung selama ini tidak menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis konstruktivisme, oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian yang  bertujuan meningkatkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan pendekatan problem posing pada materi ajar tekanan. Penelitian ini  merupakan  penelitian tindakan kelas  model Kurt Lewin meliputi: permasalahan,  perencanaan tindakan, pelaksaan tindakan, pengumpulan data, dan  refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa test, observasi, angket, dan  dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif  kuantitatif  dan  kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) keterelaksanaan RPP  pada kegiatan pendahuluan, inti dan penutup  pada siklus I sebesar  89,20% , siklus  II 93,7%,  dan siklus  III 94,5%, (2) aktivitas siswa meliputi aktivitas menyumbangkan ide, menjadi pendengar yang baik, mau bekerjasama, dan mau bertanya secara umum pada siklus I berkriteria baik, siklus II dan III  berkriteria baik sekali, (3) Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I, II dan  III  berturut-turut adalah 58,6% (tidak tuntas),  75,0% (tuntas) dan  90,0%  (tuntas) (4)  respon siswa terhadap cara guru mengajar dan  materi pembelajaran cukup baik. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa penerapan model  kooperatif dengan pendekatan problem posing pada materi ajar tekanan di kelas VIII-F SMPN 11 Banjarmasin efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar  dan aktivitas siswa.

Abstract

LKS at schools still contained the materials and exercises without learning media have been caused the low ability of students in critical thinking skills. Therefore, carried out a research that aims to produce LKS and learning media of inquiry based on critical thinking skills of junior high school students on the subject of pressure effectively. The research spesific objectives are to describe the feasibility of LKS and learning media, critical thinking skills of students, and the response of students towards LKS and learning media. This research is ASSURE model development. The subjects were 30 students of class VIII-C SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin. The data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative and qualitative. Findings were obtained: (1) LKS which developed satisfied feasibility about approach content, presentation instruction, presentation of content, appropriateness of content, and performance of physic, (2) learning media which developed satisfied feasibility about benefits, presentation, and use of media props, (3) critical thinking skills of students categorized as good, (4) the students  response of interests and attitudes towards LKS categorized as good, (5) the students response of interests and attitudes towards learning media categorized as very good. Retrieved conclusion that LKS and learning media of inquiry based on critical thinking skills of students who produced effectively.

Abstract

Low activity of students during the learning is caused by lack of instructional media. It is necessary to develop an insctructional media which is fun to make students active and motivated. The purpose of this research is to produce playing cards and handout which are proper for learning model type make a match to train students activity during the learning. This study is a research and development that used ADDIE (analysis, design, develop, implement, evaluate) as a development model. The subject of this research is students at seventh grade of SMPN 24 Banjarmasin. The instrument of collecting data are the sheet of validity media, activity assessment instrument, and questionnaire responses. The result of this research shows that (1) the playing cards developed is valid used as instructional media for learning model type make a match by a little revision, (2) handout which is developed is valid used as instructional media by a little revision, (3) the average of students activity in every meeting include visual, verbal, motor and emotional aspect give activity level of very active, (4) students give excellent response to the quality aspects of media, the influences of media and studying acting and also a good respons to the material.

Abstract

Keterampilan proses sains siswa masih jarang dilatihkan terutama dalam menganalisis sampai dengan menarik kesimpulan dalam menemukan konsep atau fakta/informasi yang diperoleh melalui percobaan penemuan selama proses pembelajaran berlangsungdan hasil belajar siswa masih di bawah kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM). Tujuan menerapkan model penemuan terbimbing dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan cara meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Tujuan khusus penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP, (2) pencapaian keterampilan proses sains siswa, (3) pencapaian hasil belajar produk siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah PTK model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart terdiri dari 2 siklus. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 27 Banjarmasin. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) keterlaksanaan RPP model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing siklus I dan sikus II terlaksana dengan baik, (2) pencapaian keterampilan proses sains siswa pada siklus I dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan, (3) ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal pada materi pokok kalor dari siklus I sampai dengan siklus II mengalami peningkatan. Diperoleh simpulan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing pada materi pokok kalor dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 27 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Improve learning achievement of students grade VIII D SMPN 1 Amuntai through Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating and Transferring (REACT) model. Application of the talking method in learning activities cause students weren’t active and it result to the low of students learning achievement. This condition needs a classroom action research to improve students learning achievement through Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating and Transferring (REACT). The aim of this research is describe way to improve students learning achievement through REACT model. The specific aims are describe: (1) lesson plan feasibility, (2) students learning achievement and (3) students activities. This classroom action research use Hopkins model that consist of 2 cycles. Data were collected by observation, test and documentation. Then data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. This research show that: (1) lesson plan feasibility in relating included good, experiencing included good, applying included good, cooperating included good and transferring included good; (2) students learning achievement were improve from 65,00% or didn’t completed classical achievement in cycle I to 77,27% in cycle II or completed classical achievement; and (3) students activity contain questioning, propose argument/answered teacher’s questions, listen teacher’s explain and discuss task severally included good. It can be concluded that learning achievement of students grade VIII D SMPN 1 Amuntai can improve though REACT model with link a new concept to something completely familiar to students, guide students discover concept through laboratory activity, help students answered application and analysis question on worksheet, guide students to discuss in group and guide students to use their knowledge in a new context and also make students active in learning activities.

Abstract

Kurangnya antusias siswa dalam menyimak, menyampaikan pendapat, dan rendahnya hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPA melatarbelakangi dilakukannya penelitian ini. Tujuan umum penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation pada materi cahaya dan alat optik. Tujuan khusus penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP, (2) aktivitas belajar, dan (3) hasil belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Hopkins, terdiri atas dua siklus dengan masing-masing siklus dua pertemuan. Perangkat dan instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah silabus, RPP, hand out, LKPD, lembar pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa. Data diperoleh melalui tes dan pengamatan, dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian yaitu: (1) keterlaksanaan RPP yaitu 77,98% (baik) pada siklus I 95,45% (sangat baik) pada siklus II; (2) aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I berkategori aktif, dan pada siklus II berkategori sangat aktif; (3) hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I yaitu 75% (tuntas) pada siklus II 91% (tuntas). Diperoleh simpulan bahwa aktivitas belajar siswa VIII G SMP Negeri 1 Banjarmasin pada materi cahaya dan alat optik meningkat saat diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI). Kata kunci: Kooperatif tipe group investigation, PTK, cahaya dan alat optik, aktivitas belajar, dan hasil belajar. Abstract: The lack of students’ enthusiasm in listening, giving opinion, and the low learning outcomes in the science subjects underlid this research which aimed to improve.  The general object of this research is to imptove students’ learning activity through cooperative learning model of group investigation type on the teaching material of light and optical instrument. Specific objectives of the study were to describe: (1) the implementation of RPP, (2) the learning activities, and (3) the learning outcomes. This study was a classroom action research with Hopkins model, consisting of two cycles with two meetings of each. The research equipments and instruments used were a syllabus, RPP, hand out, LKPD, observation sheets of learning activity and student activity. The data obtained through the test and observation was analysed qualitative and quantitative descriptively. The research findings were: (1) the implementation of RPP was 77,98% (good) in the cycle I and 95,45% (very good) in the cycle II; (2) the students’ learning activity in the cycle I was categorized as active and in the cycle II was categorized as very active; (3) students’ learning outcomes in the cycle I was 75% (complete) and in the cycle II was 91% (thorough). The conclusion was that VIII G students’ learning activity of State Junior High School 1 of Banjarmasin on the material of light and optical instruments increased when cooperative learning model of group investigation (GI) was applied.
