Abstract

Background: The prevalence of anemia in Indonesia is still high, in girl adolescents 26.50%, childbearing women 26.9%, pregnant women 40.1% and infants 47%. Anemia can caused by inadequate dietary iron intake from foods. One of the effort that can be done is to improve food and nutrition by increasing consumption of foods containing iron. Chicken liver nugget with combination tempeh can consumed as processed food that increase iron intake as an effort to prevent anemia. Objective: This research aims to studying the acceptability and iron content of chicken liver nuggets with combination tempeh. Methods: The experimental design using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three repetitions of treatment, two repititions of analysis and five treatment levels with ratio between chicken liver and tempeh 10%: 90% (F1), 30%: 70% (F2), 50%: 50% (F3), 30%: 70% (F4) and 90% : 10% (F5). Data analysis was tested using Kruskal Wallis followed by Mann Whitney and One Way Anova. Iron levels were analyzed using a Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). Acceptance test of the product was done using a hedonic test. Results: There are differences in the acceptability of nuggets from various ratios of chicken liver and tempeh in color parameter (p = 0,000), odor (p = 0.017), texture (p = 0.049) and taste (p = 0,000). However, there are no differences in iron content from various ratios of chicken liver and tempeh (p = 0.877). Conclusion: There are differences in the acceptability of nuggets from various ratios of chicken liver and tempeh and there is no differences in iron nugget levels from various ratios of chicken liver and tempeh. Based on the results of the acceptability, the most preferred formulas were obtained including F3, F2 and F4.

Abstract

The story of Sulaiman inheriting the kingdom of Daud was presented in a distinctive language style. In addition to having unique preferences and deviations in pronunciation, it also contained the relevance of the story to the monotheistic da'wah of Muhammad. This study intended to analyze the secrets of the existing figurative language as well as the semiotic meaning of the story and its relevance to the prophet's monotheism mission. This research used qualitative research and descriptive research methods. The research data comes from the qaşaş verse which is the source of the material for this research. Data was collected by using the note-taking technique. The translational equivalent technique carried out the data analysis technique. The results of this study from the stylistic aspect found that the selection of letters, the selection of pronunciation, the selection of sentences, accentuation of the dialogue in the story verse. This research contributed to the development of literary studies that combine stylistic analysis and narratology in one study of the story of Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

The SQ3R reading method is an abbreviation for Survey, Question, Read, Recall / Recite, and Review. This method is highly recommended for reading more deeply and logically due to its structured and practical approach. The SQ3R method aims to help students better remember the material they learn. With the SQ3R learning method, students can study texts effectively, enabling them not only to memorize the content but also to understand the meaning and concepts within the reading. This research is motivated by the lack of qiraah (reading comprehension) skills among students. It is based on observations indicating a lack of innovation and effective teaching methods or materials, resulting in students' diminished interest in learning Arabic. Therefore, appropriate learning materials are needed to improve the learning process. The results of this study indicate that efforts to improve students' qiraah skills have been successful. This is evidenced by the implementation of actions in the second cycle, which saw a significant improvement. Out of 37 students, 30 students (81.5%) completed the task successfully, while 7 students (18.5%) did not. This shows an increase of 49% by employing the SQ3R method assisted by picture story media. Based on the research findings and data analysis, it can be concluded that the application of the SQ3R method with the assistance of picture story media can enhance students' qiraah skills.

Abstract

Alpukat adalah tanaman hortikultura yang bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan dan mempertahankan kesehatan tubuh manusia. Salah satu cara untuk memperbanyak tanaman baik itu secara vegetatif ataupun generatif adalah dengan pembibitan. Sambung pucuk merupakan metode perbanyakan yang sering digunakan pada pembibitan alpukat secara vegetatif. Perbandingan antara jumlah air yang tersediapada lahan dan jumlah air yang diperlukan tanaman selama masa pertumbuhan sangat penting untuk keberhasilan kegiatan pertanian. Alternatif yang dapat digunakan untuk menduga jumlah  air yang diperlukan pada tanaman dapat dilakukan dengan bantuan dari software Cropwat 8.0. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui jumlah air yang dibutuhkan pada bibit tanaman Alpukat varietas Kendil menggunakan Cropwat 8.0. Software Cropwat 8.0 memerlukan data iklim, data curah hujan, data tanah, serta data tanaman untuk mengetahui berapa banyak kebutuhan air irigasi pada tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan air irigasi untuk bibit Alpukat varietas Kendil adalah 142 ml per polybag serta total kebutuhan air irigasi pada  bibit tanaman Alpukat varietas Kendil selama satu tahun adalah 864,8 mm.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method in improving the maharah qira’ah (reading skills) of fifth-grade students at SD Islam Assalam Bandar Lampung. A quasi-experimental design was employed, with two groups: an experimental class using the CIRC method and a control class using conventional teaching methods. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test assessments. The results indicate that the CIRC method significantly enhances students' reading comprehension, as evidenced by a higher N-Gain score in the experimental class compared to the control class. The CIRC method encourages active student participation through group discussions, summarization, and peer-assisted learning, leading to improved reading comprehension and engagement. The study also highlights the potential of cooperative learning strategies in Arabic language education, particularly in fostering critical thinking and collaborative problem-solving. Despite its effectiveness, some challenges were identified, such as ensuring equal participation among students and managing class time efficiently. This study contributes to the adaptation of the CIRC method in Arabic language learning at the elementary level, an area that has received limited research attention. It recommends that teachers integrate CIRC as an alternative instructional strategy to enhance students' Arabic reading skills. Future research should explore the integration of digital learning tools with CIRC to further optimize its effectiveness in the modern educational context.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Silent Way method in Arabic language learning using picture card media to enhance vocabulary mastery among sixth-grade students at SD Islam Assalam Bandar Lampung. This study employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. Data were collected through vocabulary mastery tests, observations, and interviews with teachers and students. The findings indicate that the Silent Way method combined with picture card media significantly improves students’ vocabulary acquisition. In the first cycle, the mastery level reached 60%, whereas in the second cycle, it increased to 88%, demonstrating substantial improvement. This method also enhances student engagement and motivation in Arabic language learning. In conclusion, the Silent Way method with picture card media can serve as an effective alternative strategy to improve vocabulary mastery among elementary school students. This study recommends the broader implementation of this method and further exploration of technology integration in its application.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a QR Code-based Arabic learning module to improve student motivation and learning outcomes in vocational high schools. Arabic language education at this level currently lacks sufficient technological integration, which diminishes student engagement. Employing the Research and Development (R&D) approach guided by the ADDIE model, the study involved 32 twelfth-grade students from SMK N 1 Talangpadang. Validation of the module indicated high feasibility, with material expert approval at 85.5% and media expert approval at 98.2%. The Wilcoxon test demonstrated statistically significant improvement in students’ performance, as all participants achieved higher post-test scores compared to pre-test scores (Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000). These findings confirm that incorporating QR Codes linked to instructional videos effectively enhances students’ comprehension and engagement. This research contributes innovatively to Arabic language education by integrating printed materials with interactive digital content to meet contemporary learning demands. Future studies may investigate the applicability of QR Code-based modules across various educational levels and subject areas.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the Arabic learning outcomes of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students, with a focus on cognitive aspects, particularly in mastering mufradat (vocabulary) and qawa’id (grammar). The background of this study lies in the low student learning outcomes in Arabic, which are often limited to memorization without deep understanding. A gap exists between the ideal expectations of the Arabic curriculum—where students are expected to master all four language skills—and the actual conditions, where cognitive achievements remain low. The research method employed is classroom action research, conducted in two cycles that include planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The results show that the implementation of the PjBL model can significantly improve student engagement, understanding, and cognitive outcomes in Arabic, particularly in vocabulary and grammar mastery. Through active involvement in contextual projects, students become more motivated and show better retention of the material. The study concludes that the PjBL model is effective and innovative in enhancing the quality of Arabic learning at the primary education level and can serve as an alternative solution for teachers to optimize the implementation of the Arabic curriculum. ABSTRAK Permasalahan rendahnya hasil belajar Bahasa Arab siswa, khususnya pada aspek kognitif seperti penguasaan mufradat (kosakata) dan qawa’id (tata bahasa), menjadi tantangan utama dalam proses pembelajaran di tingkat Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Kondisi ini menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan dengan kenyataan di lapangan, di mana siswa belum mampu memahami materi secara mendalam dan menerapkannya dalam konteks yang bermakna. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan model Project Based Learning (PJBL) sebagai solusi inovatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Arab siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur, mengkaji berbagai jurnal ilmiah yang terbit sejak tahun 2015 untuk menggali efektivitas PJBL dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Tahapan penting dalam penelitian ini meliputi identifikasi permasalahan, telaah literatur, sintesis temuan, dan penyusunan simpulan berbasis teori dan praktik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PJBL mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, menumbuhkan rasa tanggung jawab terhadap tugas, serta meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif. Dalam konteks pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, model ini terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat pemahaman mufradat dan qawa’id melalui kegiatan proyek yang kontekstual dan kolaboratif. Simpulan utama dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan PJBL secara terencana dan sistematis dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk mengatasi permasalahan pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di MI, khususnya dalam aspek kognitif, sekaligus membangun keterampilan abad ke-21 pada siswa.

Abstract

In Arabic language learning at school, the role of the teacher in delivering and presenting the materials to be taught has a significant influence on students' learning outcomes. Factors contributing to weak Arabic vocabulary mastery include difficulties in memorizing vocabulary due to students' reliance solely on school-based learning, lack of interest and motivation for learning, memorizing, and recalling Arabic vocabulary, as well as students' school backgrounds without Arabic language subjects. Therefore, it is necessary to employ engaging teaching methods or media to deliver the material to students. This research aims to develop, assess the feasibility, and evaluate the attractiveness of Arabic vocabulary learning material based on Sparkol Videoscribe media. This study is a developmental research that utilizes the ADDIE model, which emphasizes the analysis of how each component interacts coordinatively with the existing phases. The research was conducted at Daarul Ilmi Integrated Islamic Junior High School in Bandar Lampung in November 2022. The developed media has been proven suitable for use, with material expert validation results of 76% or deemed suitable, media expert validation results of 78% or deemed suitable, and educator validation results of 88% or highly suitable. Based on the trial results conducted to determine the attractiveness of Sparkol Videoscribe-based learning media in Arabic language classes for eighth graders, it obtained a score of 86% in small group trials and 89% in large group trials, categorizing it as highly attractive. Thus, the results of Sparkol Videoscribe-based learning media are attractive for student use and can facilitate the mastery of Arabic vocabulary.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Maharah Qiro'ah merupakan asoek penting dalam penguasaan Bahasa Arab di Pondok Pesantren. Pondok Pesantren Darul Falah Bandar Lampung mengadopsi kurkulum berbasis MMI Daar El-Qolam/KMI Gontor yang terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa santri. Namun, efektifitas penggunaan Kitab Qiroaturrosyidah Jilid I dalam pembelajaran Qiro'ah di kelas X masih perlu dikaji lebih mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis metode pengajaran yang diterapkan, kendala yang dihadapi, dan strategi guru dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut. metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan diskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, dengan subjek penelitian meliputi guru pengampu kita, santri kelas X, dan ketua kurikulum MMI Daar El-Qolam/KMI Gontor. Analisis data dilakukan secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola pembelajaran dan kendala yang muncul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kitab ini melibatkan dua metode utama, yaitu qir'ah zahriyyah (membaca lantang) dan qira'ah nnmudzajiyyah (bacaan contoh oleh guru). Kendala yang dihadapi antara lain rendahnya kefasihan santri dalam membaca teks Arab, perbedaan latar belakang pendidikan, kurangnya motivasi, serta keterbatasan media pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, guru menerapkan strategi seperti bimbingan intensif, pembiasaan membaca, pembentukan kelompok belajar, teknik spaced repetition, dan inovasi metode pengajaran agar lebih efektif dan menarik.
